Tomorrow's Son

Family Reunion.

Naruto, Hinata, and Jiraiya finished eating. The stratified expression on Naruto's face told Hinata that he liked it.

"I could get use to eating like this," said Naruto.

"You do," replied Jiraiya with a smile.

"It getting late," said Hinata, "I need to be getting home."

"Let's meet at Ramen Ichiraku for breakfast tomorrow," said Naruto.

"Ok," said Hinata blushing as she left.

"So is Ramen Ichiraku still in business 25 years from now?" asked Naruto.

"Yes,it is," replied Jiraiya, "Though Teuchi's retired and Ayame and her youngest daughter Usagi run it and Usagi's kind of cute too."

"So, is Ayame's daughter about your age," teased Naruto.

"Well… Yes," replied Jiraiya blushing a little.

"Obviously you like her," said Naruto, "have you asked her out yet?"

"No," said Jiraiya, "just haven't gotten the nerve yet. Though, I have talked to Usagi when eating there."

"So," asked Naruto, "Do you go there for the Ramen or the girl?"

"Both," responded Jiraiya with an obvious blush.

"That's my boy," said Naruto with a smile, "I would have been disappointed if the Ramen was not at least part of it."

"Well," said Naruto, "Looks like I'll have to show you how to do it, by asking Hinata out for date when we get together for breakfast tomorrow."

"What," responded Jiraiya, "This is going to freaky."

When Hinata got home, she tried to get to sleep but she could not. The events of the day, where occupying her mind and particularly the revelation that she would marry Naruto in a few years and apparently start dating him soon. After laying awake in bed for some tine she finally feel asleep

When Hinata got up the next morning, she found herself wandering if it had all been a dream. She knew how to be certain. If it was real Naruto and Jiraiya should be waiting for her when she got to Ramen Ichiraku.

When Hinata arrived at Ramen Ichiraku, neither Naruto, nor Jiraiya were there. She began to seriously think that that meeting hers and Naruto's son from the future and all the time they spent together had just been a dream.

Hinata knew that all she needed to do was check ask some one what day it was to see if she it had been one or two days but she was afraid to do so.

But just as Hinata was giving up hope she saw Naruto, and Jiraiya walk up talking away.

When Naruto saw Hinata he called, "Hay Hinata, over here!"

To Hinata it was music to her ears. It was real after all.

As they sat eating, Jiraiya said, "This good Mr. Teuchi, it's been a while since I've eaten your Ramen.:

Thanks, replied Teuchi, "But I don't recall seeing you hear before."

"Well," answered Jiraiya feeling stuck, "I was quite young when I last eat Ramen made by you and..."

"My friend here is from out of town," responded Naruto, "And me and Hinata were assigned to look after him."

"I see," said Teuchi, "Come back any time."

"Don't worry," responded Jiraiya, "I'll be back here in the Future."

As they got up to leave Naruto turned to Hinata and asked, "Hinata how about the two us have lunch here on Friday, just the two of us."

Is Naruto asking me out, thought Hinata

"Well ah…" was all she managed to say at first.

"If I'm still here," said Jiraiya, "I'll stay out your way. After all I don't want to disappear from existents because I screwed up my parents first date."

"D… date," said Hinata as she passed out.

When Hinata came too she was in Naruto's apartment.

"I had the strangest dream," said Hinata

"If you are referring to me asking you for a date on Friday," responded Naruto, "It was not a dream. By the way, I'm still waiting for an answer."

"Then yes!" answered Hinata, "I've been waiting for years for you ask me out. So I finally have a date with Naruto. I have a date with Naruto! I - have - a – date - with -Naruto!"

She then passed out again.

"So does she get over this?" asked Naruto.

"She must," answered Jiraiya, "Because I don't recall her ever passing out like this."

While they waited for Hinata to wake up, Naruto and Jiraiya sat talking until they got talking about their skills as ninjas. This quickly resulted in a competition between them not quite a sparing match but more like a comparison of jutsus.

In the process Jiraiya showed he was his father's son by performing a couple of jutsus would have would have given the pervy sage for whom he was name for a nose bleed.

"Did I teach you those?" asked Naruto, "I'm sure it would have embarrassed your mother big time.

"No," replied Jiraiya, "Konohamaru Sarutobi did, "You quit using them about the time you started dating mom because you knew it would have embarrassed her."

Some time later they up to the Rasengan which Naruto quickly found Jiraiya had mastered.

"So did I teach you that the Rasengan," asked Naruto.

"You taught it to both me and my brother," replied Jiraiya, "Though ma taught it to my sisters."

"You mean, I teach it to Hinata," responded Naruto.

"While you two are dating, in fact," said Jiraiya.

At this point Hinata came out and they powered down the Rasengans.

"So Naruto," said Hinata, "When will you teach me that?"

"How about when this is all over," replied Naruto, "After Jiraiya returns home."

Naruto was amazed at how the last 24 hours had changed Hinata for the better. It was hard for him to image that she was the same girl that use to be unable to say a complete sentence to him without turning multiple shades of red.

"I've arranged for a picnic lunch for the three of us," said Hinata, "We can pick up on a way to a spot I know that will be perfect.

When they arrived at the Hyūga residence Hinata went in and got the picnic basket. However on the way out she encountered her father.

"I hear you've been hanging out with that demon boy," said Hiashi.

"First of all," responded Hinata with boldness that even surprised her, "His name is Naruto and we have been assigned to guard an important visitor by Lady Tsunade."

Her father said nothing and Hinata left with her father in shock.

After several twists and terns they finally arrived,

"Is this place perfect for a picnic or is it," said Hinata, "It also quit private."

"Seems like a good place for a date," responded Naruto cause Hinata to blush since she had wanted to come here on a date with Naruto for years.

As they sat down to eat Naruto saw that the picnic consisted of rice cakes which this time did look like him and ramen with some cake for desert, however before they could eat any of it there was a sudden flash of light and a strange girl stood appeared.

"That's her," said Jiraiya, "She the one I came back to stop."

The three of them got and prepared to fight.
