Tomorrow's Son

The Intruder.

The woman that stood before them was about 41, thin with pink hair with just a touch of gray. To both Naruto and Hinata looked at the woman looked familiar at first they thought of Sakura's mother and then with shock and recognition; they both realized who it was and said her name at the same time, "Sakura?"

"Yea, it's me," said the woman, "I Sakura from 25 years in you future and thanks for ruining my life."

"Why do you say that?" asked Naruto.

"Never mind for now," said the older Sakura, "I'll deal with you latter."

With that she took off.

"Why didn't you tell us earlier," demanded Naruto, "That it was Sakura?"

"I was under your orders not to tell you until now," said Jiraiya.

"My orders?" asked Naruto?

"Your future self's orders," added Hinata.

"That's right," said Naruto.

"Think about it," said Jiraiya, "Would you have believed me?"

Naruto and Hinata got the point.

"Why is she blaming us for ruining her life?" asked Naruto.

"In a few years Sasuke will attack Konohagakure in an attempt to destroy it and together the two will stop him, killing him in the process," responded Jiraiya, "Apparently she never lets go of him, because she has turned at least12 men in last 20 years, but continued to visit his grave almost every day."

As they talked they began eating the picnic lunch Hinata had made.

"I understand that Sasuke was your team mate before he turned bad," said Jiraiya, "but in the future you also called person in the gave with a blank head stone next to his a former team mate. Can you tell me who's buried there?"

"What are you talking about?" asked Hinata, "I don't know of any such grave,"

"Neither do I," commented Naruto, "and I honestly don't have a team mate buried like that."

"We'll go look after we get done eating," said Jiraiya, "I know where it is."

Mean while Sakura walking home when a strange woman looking about 40ish walked up to her.

"Sakura," said the woman, "We need to talk."

"Who are you," asked Sakura, "You reminded me of mother, are we related?'

"Ah… You may say that," replied the woman.

"What do want to talk about?" asked Sakura.

"Have you heard that your friends Naruto and Hinata have started dating," said the woman.

"Great that means he'll leave me alone about dating him" replied Sakura with a smile.

"Well you need to break up," said the woman, "Or you will regret it."

"Why should I do that," answered Sakura, "I've been praying for them to get together for years."

"I can't explain why," said the woman, "Together they will ruin your life."

"You say that like your from the future," said Sakura.

"I am," replied the woman, "And I'm you at age 41,"

"Ya… Right," said Sakura.

"Ok, so you don't believe me," said the woman, "take this."

Sakura looked that paper and it read "Time travel jutsu."

"Put it in a safe place," said the woman and left.

When Sakura got home thinking the entire thing was a joke, she placed the paper in a book as a book mark and placed the book back on the shelf.

Naruto, Hinata and Jiraiya arrived at the cemetery and Jiraiya found the location where the graves that he hade mentioned were located in the future.

"I don't get it," said Jiraiya, "This is the right spot, where is the gave with a blank head stone?"

"It just means that the person buried there is still a live," said Hinata.

"Ok," responded Jiraiya, "Than who is it?"

Hiashi Hyūga sat meditating when a servant came in to announce a guest with an urgent message. Followed by the older Sakura.

"There's a woman with important news about Lady Hinata," said the servant.

"So you have important news about Hinata?" enquired Hiashi, "I was not even given you name,"

"Lord Hiashi," said the older Sakura, "My name is Sakura Haruno and I'v come to inform you that your daughter is dating Naruto Uzumaki. I know this must infuriate you so I came so that you take steps to break them up."

"Is this the same Naruto that saved Konohagakure?" asked Hiashi.

"Yes, replied, ," said the older Sakura.

"Then why are you wasting my time," responded Hiashi, "I've been hoping that they would get together."

"But isn't he beneath marring the Hyūga heiress?" asked the older Sakura.

"Of course he is," answered Hiashi, "She is also in love with him and is probably the only boy she would give up her inheritance for. I would much rather have her sister Hanabi as heiress but I can't just disinherit Hinata. How ever I can make giving up her inheritance a condition of marrying the man she really loves."

**** Note ****

Several years latter Hinata actually of offers to give up her inheritance to Hanabi in exchange for his permission and blessing on her and Naruto's marriage and he quickly agrees.

ooooooooooo

"So despite the fact that you do like her dating Naruto, said the older Sakura, "You would stand by and let her ruin her life just to get what you want."

"Actually, I don't think she would be ruining her life as you put it," responded Hiashi, "Her and Naruto would probably be good for each other. I just won't let her marry him and be the Hyūga heiress as well. She will simply have to decide which she wants. If she loves him enough to give up the Hyūga fortune for then they will probably be happy together. If that is the case why should I stand in their way as long as I get Hanabi as the Hyūga heiress."

The older Sakura as she stormed out in anger,

"Doesn't any one in this entire village have a reason to not want those two together?" touted the older Sakura.

Then she remembered back to 25 years earlier in her life and she realized that the answer was no. If any thing it had bee a favorite secret pass time of the village to try to get then together. She and Tsunade had even spent time trying to find excuses to send them on missions together.

No, I'll find no help here, thought, the older Sakura, To save Sasuke I will just have to kill one of them, both if possible.
