Wendy's POV

"Why am I not able to say my name but you can?" Said Mitsuko.

"Because i'm older than you!" Said the talking jellyfish, Yuzuki.

"No you aren't! You're seven years old!"

"I look seven but i'm one-hundred and seven!"

"Liar!"

"Am not!"

"Am too!"

"STOP this bickering!" We all turned our heads to see a red fuming Zensekai glaring at them. (truly a frightening sight.)

Snapping out of my daze I angrily and boldly said, "Zensekai, Lucy, why should we allow this...this...person(street-rat) to join us? I thought we were looking for...decent people!"

"Wendy we are. This person, Mitsuko, is perfect for it! She has got the skills and brains. We should not let this opportunity to slip by. So, Mitsuko and Yuzuki will you join us?" Zensekai asked confidently.

"Sur_" Yuzuki said, but was cut off by Mitsuko.

"I don't think we should, i'll talk with Yuzuki first." Mitsuko walked farther away from us behind some bushes so we weren't able to see her.

I certainly did not want someone like Mitsuko to be in our team, she seems suspicious, she did attack me.

I looked to my right and saw Zensekai excitedly talking to Lucy. Completely forgetting my presence, and for the first time in a while, I desperately wished that Grandeeney was here with me.

Yuzuki's POV

"I don't see what's the problem Mitsuko. The can give us shelter, food, and maybe a pool!" I cheered happily.

"But, Yuzuki, I don't know if im ready for a family yet. I mean, I know it's been awhile, but I don't know..."

"Mitsuko. Look at me." I said. Mitsuko grabbed me (from on top of her head) and held me in front of her face. "Mitsuko. We need to move on. Maybe if we travel with them we can find her again." I tried to smile (with my jelly-fish face).

"I guess you're right. Thanks Yuzuki." Mitsuko nodded and stood up, ready to go to her new family.

Lucy's POV

We heard rustling of leaves and all of us turned on our battle stances and look at the bush. Out emerged Mitsuko and Yuzuki.

"So?" Zensekai asked.

"I guess we will join." Mitsuko mumbled.

"Introduce yourself Mitsuko." Yuzuki scolded like a mother should.

"Fine. I'm Mitsuko, My magic is, Water Arsai Slayer. My element is Water and_"

"Wait what is an Arsai? I've never heard of that." I said.

Zensekai spoke up," a Arsai is quite rare. The entire time since birth of earth, there has only been a small patch of Arsai that lived under water, occasionally popping onto the surface of the water, having some fun with humans, that includes making them hallucinate, hitting them with their tails, and eventually drowning the human. Asrai is a sort of water nymph, sort of like a mermaid. Some sources describe them as timid and shy, standing only between two and four feet tall, while others depict them as tall and lithe. They are said to look like beautiful young maidens, sometimes as young as children, while actually being hundreds of years old. They may have webbed hands and feet, resembling some descriptions of selkies. They are unable to go into light. Which I find ironic since, Mitsuko, your name mean 'child of the light'. Correct?"

"Uh, yes."

"I find quite weird is that is is Arsai were gone even before dragons started going into war. How would this child of the water be alive?" Zensekai said in a confused tone.

"Let's ask more questions later. For now, we need to find Mitsuko a place to live...a place for us to live." Lucy stated.

Lucy started to lead the way into the thick forest, and after a few hours, Yuzuki simply said, "We're lost."

"No way..." Wendy said, tired.

"Shut up you diddy dumpling, (A/N I give credit to elusivisage) getting lost is good for us." Mitsuko rolled her eyes.

"What in the world is a diddy dumpling? AND how is getting lost going to help us?"

Zensekai was calm, "This is a perfect place to set up our base. Since it's in the middle of the forest and barely anyone is going to roam around here, it would be best if we made our base/hiding spot over here. Lucy if you'd please."

Lucy raised her hand a translucent-almost-clear ball of energy formed in her hand, expanding into a large sphere that covered several dozen trees. Zensekai nodded in approval and she quickly chanted a spell. We stared confusedly Zensekai, "What did you do?" asked Wendy. A question we all had hanging in our heads.

"I had a wall around us. A wall of vines and trees and roots. No one should be able to bother us for a while.

"How long does it stretch?" Mitsuko asked.

"It should be about 16 acres."

I looked at Zensekai in amazement, "Why didn't you ever teach me how to do that?"

Zensekai simply said, "Didn't see a reason to."

I walked over to a large tree and placed my hand on it, "This would be a good place."

"To what..?" Wendy asked.

"Gather wood. Ladies, we're making a tree house." Zensekai said, smiling, thinking the same thing as me.
