Meanwhile, James was in acting. He had been in audition that they were doing in class for a play, titled Senior Year. He was auditioning for one of the 3 lead male roles. He really wanted to play Tony, but was willing to play, Mike or Ryan also. He had to audition with a girl, named Trina who sang for her audition, but was awful. He wanted to show her how it was done by giving her some lessons because he thought she was pretty. He finally talked to her. "Hey, would you maybe wanna hang out and do a little singing and acting practice for the play on Saturday?" asked James. "Sure," said Trina. After James had left, Trina went around screaming, "I have a date with a BTR boy on Saturday."
Carlos was in vocal tuning and was really getting the hang of it, and was thinking about auditioning for the lead in the play that James was auditioning for. He met a guy named Ryder who was going to hang out with him on Saturday night at Ryder's house to prepare for the audition.
