Chapter 6: My Moyashi!

As the silver haired teen sat up his eyes trailed to the door of the room. His good arm moving to his innocence as it twitched and jerked, small cracks having formed on it's surface.

"K..Kanda." he panted, body offering small trembles as the Samurai stepped between him and the Noah who had just claimed him that night.

"Shut up." The man snapped making him flinched and pull the sheets up around him, looking down in shame.

"Hmph, well what a shame." The Noah only grinned as he spoke, glancing around the black haired Chinese man to the albino on the bed he'd been so close to taking home.

"This isn't over Kitten." He chuckled and bounced back and through the wooden wall as Kanda's blade came after him once more, only to stick into the wall.

Kanda offered a curse and pulled his blade back, glaring out the window as he watched the Noah escape into the darkness of the forest. Silence filled the room for a good while before the old turned suddenly and glared at the younger, scowling.

"Wait hold on… how am I yours!?" Allen suddenly snapped, getting kind of tired of everyone saying that lately.

"Forget it." Kanda grumbled and moved over, looking him up and down and putting his blade away before crossing his arms.

"You smell horrible." The samurai snipped making Allen tense up and look away.

"I…that's not my fault…" he muttered, suddenly the reality of what had just happened flooding over him, his stomach started to churn making him feel sick.

"….Put some clothes on, we're leaving." Kanda turned, leaving the room before Allen could protest and slamming the door, making the boy jump.

"It's not my fault…." He repeated and bit his lip a little, feeling his throat tighten…

It wasn't his fault…. Right? He shook his head as that doubt even crossed his mind and moved to get off the bed. A soft gasp leaving his lips as he felt that warmth spread in his gut, his tail puffed once more. He wanted a shower… a really hot one, but he doubted he was getting it. And now he had to walk god only knew how far with that feeling in his gut.

"Hurry up!" he grit his teeth at the shout from down the steps and picked up his boxers.

Once he was dressed he picked up the deck of cards that had fallen from his jacket and put them away before heading down stairs, glancing around the inn's lower floor. No one seemed to be there, yet there was a fire going in the other room. He frowned.

"Kanda something weird is going on here…" he voiced and turned to look at the man but he was already leaving.

"H-hey wait! Bakanda!" he protested and rushed after, leaving a few coins on the counter.

The air around Kanda was more tense and angry than normal and he found him self quiet as they headed across the town square and towards the exit. They'd been knocked off course by the little train ride and now had to walk all the way back to… oh wait!

"Kanda! Shouldn't we call head quarters about the train? The bridge was out, people could get hurt!" Allen spoke up making the other stop.

"You really are stupid…" Allen blinked as Kanda spoke, seeming confused.

He couldn't help but tilt his head a little and drop one ear as he stared at the man, expecting him to continue but only getting more confused when he didn't.

"What's that suppose to mean?" he snipped a little as the forest around them shifted in a faint breeze, the town not far behind, the lights in the windows still visible.

"It means." Kanda snipped and turned on him suddenly, pinning him to a near by tree.

"You're too selfless! You get your self into too much trouble and I can't protect you!" he snapped making Allen hiss at him, ears back in anger.

"Who said I need you to protect me!" he protested only to gasp as Kanda grabbed his innocence and held it in between the two of them.

"You didn't have too! If I hadn't saved you, you'd have lost your innocence!" Allen fell quiet as he realized he was right and looked away.

He'd let the Noah do that too him… Because he'd threaten to go after Kanda… If it had only been him he'd never have let him but… Kanda…

"I keep having to save your sorry ass!" Kanda reminded him and gripped his wrist tighter.

"That hurts…" Allen frowned and looked up at the other.

"Why DO you keep saving me Kanda? I thought you didn't care…" Allen pressed making the Samurai freeze and stare, letting go of his arm.

"You're the one who said I just got in the way right? So why not let that Noah take my innocence… then I'd be out of your way right?!" Allen pressed, leaning off the tree and getting up in his face making the Samurai glare back.

"Well Kanda?! Why save me!?" he yelled only for the Samurai's lips to crash against his, making him jerk back against the tree again with wide eyes.

Why this again?! Why? The Noah, Kanda… Why?! What had that potion done to him?

Their lips finally pulled away and Allen looked away, shaking faintly. Kanda stared at him and scowled.

"Do you get it yet?" Kanda voiced in the calmest voice he'd ever heard from the man.

"No…" Allen muttered making the man back off and sigh, twitching a little.

"And that's why you're an idiot." Kanda responded and moved to lead the way again.

"We're aborting the mission."

"Wait what? Why?!" Allen voiced, shocked as he moved after him again.

"You're in no condition to fight and we've got a Noah trailing us. The only way this mission will get done is if they send someone else or I let the Noah take you and go do it my self. So we're going back." Kanda voiced without turning around, that long black hair glistening in the full moons light as it managed to peek through the thick canopy over head.

Allen looked down, chest and throat tight. He'd cost them the mission… He'd never done that before. His eyes trailed to his arm, he trailed his normal fingers over the cracks and burns that now covered it. He'd been so close to losing his innocence… and yet in a way he'd lost a different kind. And Kanda was being a pain in the ass per usual… He just wanted to lock him self up in his room again, this whole mission thing had been a big mistake. He knew they were short on staff but it hadn't been a good idea to send him out like this…

"Why was he after you Moyashi?" Kanda pressed suddenly making Allen look up from his dazed, thought filled, trance and blink.

"I don't know, he said something about killing me?" he responded.

"Why you?" Kanda pressed for more answers but they weren't answers Allen could give.

"How should I know?" Allen protested and scowled as they walked towards what Allen hoped was a near by town with a phone.

"Where are we going Kanda? Which way is head quarters?" With allen's poor sense of direction he'd have gotten lost and ended up walking in circles if Kanda had decided to just leave him behind.

"There should be a town up ahead, but we'll be walking all night." Kanda voiced.

"All night?!" Allen hissed a little at the thought, normally it wouldn't be a problem but…

"We can't afford to let our guard down Moyashi." Kanda responded.

"Will you stop calling me that?!" Allen hissed again, ears flying back but Kanda ignored him.

Once more silence fell around them and as they walked Allen realized just how deadly quiet the forest around them was. His ears were more sensitive to sound, so normally it would be loud, but right now all he could hear was the rustle of leafs on the wind. No animals, no crickets, nothing… Just the rather loud steps the two of them had. He frowned, body tensing up as the air seemed to get thick around the two of them.

Allen picked up his pace a little, moving to the Samurai's side to tug on his sleeve, not looking at him. If Tyki was following them he didn't want to give away that he'd noticed something was up. Kanda seemed to get the hint because he shifted a little beside him becoming more defensive. The two of them walked in that stiff silence for what seemed like hours before Allen's eyes glanced at the sky. The moon was dimmer, the sky a lighter blue. So it had really been hours… his feet hurt…

"Moyashi!" Allen grit his teeth at the nick name and turned to look at the man only to gasp and duck under a gloved hand that shot out of a near by tree.

He cursed as he stumbled back and nearly fell on the Samurai as a foot swept his feet out from under him. He hit the ground hard and scrambled to get back up as Kanda stepped over him, blade held at the ready.

"Kanda!" Allen protested only to get a boot on his chest as Kanda pushed him back down.

"You're helpless without your innocence walker, so stay out of my way." Kanda snapped making Allen curse again, looking around.

They were sitting ducks here, him on the ground and Kanda standing over him. Tyki must have figured out he only had so long to get his hands on the teen before he'd be out of reach again. They were obviously near the town by now if he was trying such tactics.

Which means… His eyes activated just as he realized that meant the man had probably set them up in an ambush and he tensed.

"Kanda! Akuma!" he yelled from below him.

This time it was the Samurai's turn to curse as a bullet nearly struck him in the shoulder but he managed to block it with his blade, cutting it in half. But the repeating explosions that followed the first bullet were soon raining bullets down on the two and before long Kanda was actually being forced back just from the sear amount of missiles being shot at him. So that was his plan! Allen stood, tensing up. If he didn't get away from Kanda… they'd kill him. Even Kanda wouldn't be able to hold his own against such an assault! Their eyes met, Allen tense as they got a moment to stare at each other then Kanda's eyes seemed to widen.

"Don't you Dare!" The man yelled but Allen had already placed a hand on his innocence and with a scream forced it to activate.

Sparks filled the air as the damaged innocence transformed, the cracks widening as it was damaged further with the forced transformation. Allen cursed as pain filled him, threatening to cripple his overly sensitive body. But he couldn't let it, couldn't let Kanda fight on his own. Even if he did end up losing his innocence, he couldn't let Kanda die for him. He'd promised him self a long time ago that he'd never let anyone die for him again!

I'm sorry Mana.

He thought absently as he rose his gun like innocence and fired in the direction he heard the shots coming from. He peppered the forest with spears of glowing light, causing Tyki to reveal his location as the tree he'd been hiding in was impaled by one of said beams.

"Kanda now!" Allen yelled but the samurai was already a step ahead of him.

"First illusion! Nether World Insects!" Kanda shouted as his blade glowed sending a row of horrific insects after the Noah.

They both heard the curse as one of the insects cut into the Noah's arm and he was forced to flee into the darkness leaving a blood trail behind him. Allen moved to Follow but Kanda grabbed his arm and pulled him back. Once more silence filled the air and Allen panted as he waited for something to happen. But nothing came and soon he found him self on his knees, gripping his arm and trembling as it deactivated revealing larger gashes in his innocence. He felt it spark and go limp.

"You idiot…" Kanda muttered and put his blade away, lifting him up suddenly bridal style and returning to walking.

"What are you doing?!" Allen protested but when his struggles didn't make the man stop he fell still and fumed a little at being carried by Kanda of all people.

Slowly the forest seemed to come alive around them as he stared up at the sky. As it lightened around them Allen found his head resting against the Samurai's chest. His tension slowly faded as the smell of lotus flowers greeted him and he blinked. His gray eyes trailing up to the other and he just stared. Kanda… this was side of him he'd never seen before. It was kind of nice but he felt if he ever told anyone Kanda might kill him. Kanda had saved him at least 5 times now right? He'd lost count… he owed him.

"Kanda…" Allen muttered softly as the lack of movement made him tired.

"What now?"

"Thanks…" He felt his eyes get heavy and tried not to fall asleep in the other's arms as Kanda stared down at him with a confused and shocked look on his face.

"Whatever… Why are you staring at me?" Kanda scowled as he looked down at the exhausted looking albino, noting he was able to see the smoke from chimneys in the town up ahead.

"You smell good…" Allen muttered making Kanda jump a little and scowled.

"Like flowers…" Allen smiled a little as he closed his eyes, Kanda just staring down at him as they walked.

"You're being stupid Moyashi, just go to sleep already." Allen contemplated how much he'd been sleeping lately and wondered if that was just the stress or another side effect.

It was hard to tell what was and wasn't a side effect after everything that had happened. They'd only been out on this mission for a day and already more had happened than happened on MOST missions. A Noah, they hardly showed up. Though Allen noticed he seemed to have the worst luck with them because, while most exorcists didn't see one their whole lives, he seemed to be on a name to name basis with them…

"I've slept a lot." Allen voiced but when Kanda didn't respond he knew the option wasn't up for debate and sighed.

He found him self unable to sleep, the exhaustion seeming to slowly fade the brighter the sky got and the closer to town they got.

"You can put me down now you know." Allen voiced, having been some what willing to let Kanda carry him while they were alone, but no way in hell was he doing so in town.

Kanda stopped and eagerly set him down, rubbing his arms.

"You're heavier than you look." He commented making the boy scowl and turned towards the village without another word.

The town they entered was more of a small city than a town. The streets made of laid brick and the buildings cramped with many ally ways. Allen scowled a little as he looked around, Kanda ignoring him and leading the way towards the train station.

"Don't fall behind!" he snapped as the crowd started to get between the two of them.

"We may have hurt him, but who knows if he is around." Kanda was right, unlike the Akuma Allen's eye did nothing to see if a Noah was around.

He picked up his pace, the streets busy despite the early hour. The Train station wasn't far, but unfortunately the station was packed tight and all the tickets for the next four trains were booked. Allen tryed to get them one as exorcists the but man refused and despite Kanda's glare they were forced to get a ticket for sometime the next day.

"We'll just get a room in an inn near by." Allen tried to console the PMSing Samurai as he stormed down the street making people give them a very wide path between them.

"And this time we'll just stick together." Kanda seemed to lighten up a little at those words, glancing back at the exorcist with a contemplating look to his eyes.

This mission had been one disaster after another and little to Allen's knowledge Kanda wanted something out of all the trouble he'd caused them. The inn the Samurai chose was fairly close to the train station so they wouldn't have to get up too early to make it to the train. But the only room available had been pretty pricey and was on the top floor of the four story building. Allen groaned as he moved up the last flight of stairs and stretched.

"I can't wait to get a bath." He grumbled as they walked down the hall towards their room.

"Don't use all the hot water." Kanda snipped a little as they unlocked the door and stepped inside.

The room is self was rather nice… however as Allen looked across the well furnished room he noted their only seemed to be one bed and scowled.

"Uhm Kanda…" he voiced as the man shut the door and locked it, moving to drop his stuff down and sit.

"What?" he looked over as the man spoke, seeming oblivious to this fact.

"There is only one bed…" Allen pointed out and Kanda opened one eye to look at it.

"So?" he responded.

"Are we taking shifts? Or are you sleeping in that chair?" he tilted his head a little as Kanda stared at him then frowned.

"I don't think you get it Moyashi. We're sharing the bed." Allen tensed up as images of that night filled his mind and he felt sick.

"I'd rather sleep on the floor." He commented making the Samurai scowl and stand up, poking him towards the bathroom with the tip of his blade.

"Something wrong with me Moyashi?" his voice dripped with a venom that made Allen tense up.

"You seemed perfectly ok with sharing your self with that Noah." He commented and Allen tensed up.

"He raped me!" he protested but Kanda silenced him by shoving the tip of his hilt in the boy's mouth.

"Shut up, I'm not done!" he snapped making the Allen tense up as he was backed up against the door to the bathroom.

"I heard you moan, heard you say how much you liked it Moyashi." The Samurai's eyes narrowed as he stepped closed.

"So why not me hm? After all you've put me through. I think you owe me Moyashi." He voiced as he stepped nearly up against him and leered down at him.

"I didn't want to do that Bakanda!" Allen yelled, not noticing the tears in his eyes.

"Do I disgust you? Are you just into letting the enemy turn you into their little bitch Moyashi?" Kanda growled and opened the door suddenly, making the albino fall back onto the floor of the bathroom.

He shut it behind them and crossed his arms as Allen trembled on the floor. This wasn't happening… First he got forced by a Noah and now his own team mate?!

"You ever tell anyone Moyashi… And I'll kill you…" he muttered and looked away before speaking again.

"I love you."

Author's Ending Notes:

Awwww Kanda has a crush. But is it because of what is wrong with Allen? Will Kanda force him self on Allen? How will Allen get out of this?

Find out next time on…. Oh wait…

*cough* yeah….

I'm a slow poster, sorry guys, I've tried to motivate my self to post more but it just doesn't happen. Just know I won't STOP posting.

I tried to read this and edit this as best I could but with my dyslexia is hard to do so on my own. My editor already went to bed and is going to an anime convention soon sooooo…

This was also going to be longer, but they started to get out of character. So I had to cut it a little short… Next time should be… steamy, pardon the pun.
