Chapter 8: Mine! Mine!

Allen cursed as his hands slipped on the window's seal. With only one arm escaping was proving to be an impossible task. Just opening the window was a task in it self, he wasn't sure how he was going to get outside without falling to his death. Again he tried to pry the window open, this time checking to make sure it wasn't locked. It creaked a little with the effort of opening after what seemed like a cold winter without being moved. With a shudder the window clattered open and Allen gasped at the icy breeze that rushed in his ears falling back. It was cold, too cold, like going to snow any moment cold. If he went out in nothing but a dress shirt that he'd stolen from Tyki's closet he'd freeze. But what choice did he have, stay here and be the Noah's pet and god only knew what else, or risk freezing to death in the escape. He'd take the later option…

With an apprehensive sigh he sat down on the window seal and peeked over the edge at the ground below, he was on the second story but there was a bush to break his fall if he landed right. He bit his lip and swung his legs over the edge to dangle them outside. In his chest his heart hammered and his hands shook. If he did manage to escape, what was waiting for him out there? Not the Order… not Kanda… well that wasn't true. Kanda had said… Don't think about what Kanda had said. He shook his head and gripped the window seal before slipping off the edge. With a faint grunt he lowered him self down slowly, careful to keep his legs from view of the bottom story window in case someone was inside the room. He couldn't see if the curtains were shut from this angle.

With a few shaky breaths he let go, air rushed past his ears and he grit his teeth in anticipation of the impact. Thud, the impact came and left him breathless as he opened his eyes with a sharp intake of air. Nothing was broken but he'd be lying if he said that hadn't hurt. The twigs of the bush had both lessened the impact and made it worse, thin and bendy they had left small cuts along his cheek and legs where he didn't have any clothing to protect him. But he didn't have time to think about that. Pushing him self up with his one arm he looked around, no signs of life he relaxed a little. Of course that didn't mean that he'd have much time. Tyki had been gone for a while now, he'd notice he was missing from the room in seconds the moment he got back. Allen wrapped the over sized shirt around him self and started in a brisk pace across the grass lawn. All he had to do was get far enough out into the fog that they couldn't see him and then into the woods.

His heart pounded so hard he swore Tyki might hear it, he wanted to take off in a run but knew the sudden movement and the sound of his feet pounding on the grass would just alert anyone near by to his escape. His eyes finally managed to break through the fog, ahead of him a tall black painted fence rose up from the ground before him. He stopped at its base and shuddered. The bars were too close together to slip between and with one arm it wouldn't be easy to get over it. He was glad he'd been in the circus with Mana or this would be impossible.

"Saving my life again." He whispered under his breath so that even he could hardly hear him self.

He reached up to the top of the fence, wrapping his fingers around the top bar and moving to put his feet in between some of the bars so that as he lifted him self up he wouldn't tilt sideways since he was only using one arm. He was just about to pull him self up when he felt a larger warmer body press up against his back and hissed.

"Where are you going Kitten?" Tyki's voice hummed in his ear, not sounding happy.

"I..I…just needed some fresh air." Allen choked, was this how people without innocence felt when they were being attacked? Helpless? Useless?

"Nice try Cheater boy, but I've caught you this time." He chuckled and slipped his hand around Allen's waist, pulling him away from the fence.

Allen didn't even bother holding onto the fence, at the tug his hand slipped free and he looked away. He'd taken too long getting up the nerve to try escaping, and he knew already he wasn't going to get another chance to get away. He felt Tyki's grip tighten and winced as it made his ribs ache. He glanced up and scowled at the Noah, who scowled right back and only tightened his grip further, making it harder to breath.

"You'll be staying in my room on the forth floor, where you can't jump out the window." Tyki voiced casually and smiled finally.

Allen looked down and took a shallow quick breath, was Tyki trying to make him pass out? It felt like it, his ribs refused to move and the more he tried to breath the more his body started to panic. He hadn't realized Tyki had stopped walking and was just squeezing his ribs at the sides now, glaring down at him with a smile on his face.

"S-stop." Allen choked, reaching down to the Noah's arms but feeling his hand go right through his arm.

"Can't do that Walker, I can't have you knowing the hallways now. Can't trust you not to try and run off." Tyki voiced calmly.

Allen felt his ribs throb as Tyki gripped harder, his head tossed back and he tried to gasp in air but his ribs refused to move, finally his hand managed to grip the Noah's arm but he was too weak to actually pull his arm away by this point. He heard Tyki gasp and suddenly he let go, Allen collapsed to the ground with a gasp of air and started coughing. Too busy with trying to breath he didn't notice the mist around them swirling and shimmering around where his arm used to be, nor did he notice the burn on Tyki's hand where the shimmering mist had brushed his hand.

By the time he looked up Tyki had slipped his gloves on and the shimmering had stopped as the mist dispersed. Tyki scowled down at him as he looked up, trembling on the cold lawn and wishing he had more clothes on him.

"Tyki?" He looked to his right and shivered.

Before him stood a girl that couldn't be more than 13 years old, wearing a short skirt and a white frilly long sleeve top under a black jacket. Her hair was messy and her yellow eyes held the hint of blood lust. This was a girl he knew, that he recognized all too well.

"Road." He growled faintly as she stared down at him with a mix look of shock and anger.

"Tyki! How dare you hurt my Allen!" She suddenly snapped and knelt before Allen who tried to pull away but wasn't fast enough to escape the iron grip of her arms around his neck.

Tyki scowled and reached into his pocket to pull out another cigarette and light it. Wait had she just call him hers?

"Lord Millennium charged me with him Road, so he isn't yours." Tyki voiced idly as he took a drag.

"That isn't fair! I saw him first Tyki! You can't just claim him!" Road protested and pulled Allen closer.

"But I already did Road." Tyki voiced with an amused purr as Allen struggled in her grip and gagged with the pressure she was putting to his neck in her rage.

"What did you do to my Allen Tyki! Why can you play with him but I can't!" she yelled.

"And what is he doing out of the house?" Road's grip loosened as she turned to look over her shoulder.

"Lord Earl!" Tyki voiced seeming a little shocked.

When Allen looked over his shoulder he didn't see what he was expecting. Instead of the oddly cartoon faced Earl he knew all too well with his purple jacket and large teeth, he was met by a normal looking wealthy man. His hair curly and black and his skin tanned. He had broad shoulders and a thin mustache on his upper lip. His yellow eyes glared down from behind round glasses which he worse in both forms and his customary smile was gone, replaced with a deep set scowl.

"Yeah, what IS he doing outside Tyki." Road grinned, thinking he had caught Tyki in a way that Allen would be hers soon.

"I was getting him some fresh air." Tyki lied smoothly and took another drag from his cigarette before putting it out as he saw the Earl's nose wrinkle in distaste.

"I told you he wasn't allowed out of the house." The earl voiced as he looked down at Allen with a look of sheer distain.

Allen shuddered. It had been a long time since someone had looked at him like that. So long he had forget what it felt like to be under that kind of gaze. Tyki however held his ground.

"The Akuma cause him so much pain he won't stop screaming, so I figured I'd let him walk around outside for a little bit under my watch." He voiced calmly.

"You figured… And you didn't ask." The Earl grumbled and eyed him then looked at Allen then to Road.

"Road, let him go." Road's mouth flew open to protest but the look she got silenced her in moments and slowly her arms released their grip letting Allen stand.

For once Allen was happy Tyki was there, he suddenly had a new protective on the Noah. Even if it was that he just wanted to keep him to him self, he felt safer with Tyki than he did with the other Noah… especially Road. He felt Tyki grip his arm and winced but this time he didn't struggle. Road pouted as she stepped over the Earl's side and crossed her arms like a child who had to share her toys with someone else.

"But he was mine! I saw him first!" Road protested and pouted up at the Earl who offered her a soft smile.

"It's alright Road, I'll let you play with him some other time. Maybe after you do your homework." The Earl voiced and Road light up instantly and grinned.

Allen shuddered and glanced up at Tyki who seemed displeased with this information.

"She'll break him." Allen couldn't help but think of this like two siblings fighting over the same toy.

"I promise I won't break him." Road voiced in a good girl kind of voice and smiled so sweetly that Allen couldn't help but feel uncomfortable.

The Earl went quiet for a long moment, watching the two of them with raised brows and scowling before he turned his gaze to Allen.

"If I find out he has been out of your room again Tyki. I'm giving him to Road." And with that the Earl turned and walked away, Road at his heels complaining about how it wasn't fair.

Tyki let out a sigh and tugged on Allen's arm, who after that bit of information followed without a protest. The walk was quiet, Tyki took him to the back door that lead into the kitchens and then up the stairs and down long hallways to the fourth floor. Down two more hallways and he pushed open a door that led to Tyki's room.

The walls were lined with books and the fire place held a cozy looking fire, which after Allen's little adventure into the freezing cold looked all too welcoming. The bed was much like the bed Allen had been laying on before only with soft green sheets with silver embroidering. The four posts held green see through curtains and the rugs on the floor were also that same green. Allen stumbled as Tyki pushed him in then shut the door behind them.

"You ether have a death wish or are more spiteful than I had imagined." Tyki voiced as he sat down in a plush armchair and crossed one leg over the other.

Allen moved to the fireplace and sat down, closing his eyes as his ears slowly rose from his hair. He felt his tail flick behind him and glanced back at Tyki after a moment of silence.

"You do realize that if you try and escape again Road is going to break you." Tyki voiced as Allen looked over, still scowling at him.

Allen's ears drooped on his head and he looked down, he didn't want Road anywhere near him… But what was he supposed to do just give up? Maybe he should, maybe it would be better for him if he just… He shook his head and glared.

Tyki scowled and shook his head before standing and moving over to him, standing over him his fingers latched onto one of Allen's sensitive cat ears and tugged making Allen hiss in response. He didn't fight as Tyki dragged him away from the fireplace and forced him to the bed, his ear giving painful stabs and throbs with each tub or twist that forced him to comply. A hand on his hip and a twist of his ear and he found him self bent over the bed with the shirt he wore pushed up.

"Should I break you then? If you want it so badly?" Tyki whispered with a growl and twisted his ear again making Allen yelp.

"Should I take you again, force you to my will and chain you up? Not feed you, keep you here like some animal for my amusement?" Tyki's words had a bite to them, as if this hurt him to say, as if that wasn't what he wanted.

"Let go of my ear!" Allen protested but Tyki simply twisted more and forced him still as he kicked his legs apart.

"Why should I? You don't care about your self enough to just give up and let me pamper you so why should I care how much I hurt you?" Tyki snarled at him making Allen flinch.

Allen gasped as a hand shot between his legs, his back arching at the sudden touch. He hissed at the Noah but Tyki didn't care, his touches were rougher than before, no longer pleasurable and teasing. The harshness and rough touches made Allen hiss and growl with every movement and soon Tyki had tossed him to the floor where Allen balled up.

"I'll kill you before I hand you over to Road, Walker… understand?" Tyki growled.

Allen nodded slowly and glared from his spot on the floor, panting softly.

Tyki moved back to the arm chair and sat down, eyeing him from his place on the floor before leaning back.

"Come here Kitten." Tyki voiced in a calmer gentler voice causing Allen to relax.

He shifted, tail raising faintly as he inched his way over to the Noah's side and looked up at him from the floor, he felt so pathetic sitting at the Noah's feet and looking up at him, his ears drooped and back on his head. The ear the Noah had twisted, flicking as it still throbbed. Tyki's hand reached out to touch his cheek and the warmth spread across it making him lean into the touch with a faint shudder. Gentle again and soft under that smooth glove. He closed his eyes, relished the warmth his body needed so badly.

"You'll behave from now on won't you?" Tyki breathed in his ear.

"I…I will." Allen agreed softly, not opening his eyes for fear of tears falling down his cheeks.

"Good. That door over there leads to the bathroom, go and bathe."

"The Earl said he could come with you?" Road voiced with a raised brow as she looked at Allen.

Allen kept his eyes on the floor, it had been nearly a year now since he'd been captured and after his first attempt he hadn't tried again. Tyki had becomes more gentle when he hadn't tried to escape again and now Allen stood at his side with his one hand holding the Noah's in silence. Tyki shrugged and brushed some hair out of Allen's face.

"He wants to test something." Tyki voiced as he waited for Road to open the door that lead outside.

Allen's ears twitched and he looked up, dressed in a white dress shirt and a black vest he wore clothes that had been made to fit him. Road eyed Allen then Tyki and frowned.

"He isn't going to try and run away is he?" Road asked and Tyki frowned at her.

"We're in a bit of a rush so if you'd open the door Road I have a schedule to keep." Tyki voiced and tugged Allen closer.

Road shrugged again and with a wave of her hand the checked door creaked open. Tyki tugged his arm and Allen didn't bother looking up as they stepped through and into the daylight on the other side. The door shut and finally Allen looked up. His eyes landed on Tyki and he frowned.

"What are we looking for Tyki?" Allen voiced as he Watched the Noah light a cigarette.

"We're looking for that Exorcist you were with last time." Allen froze and slipped his hand from Tykis hand with a look of shock.

"You want to use me to get to him don't you!" Allen protested and Tyki scowled.

"Does that bother you? You are one of us now aren't you Walker?" Allen froze and looked down.

"Did you tell him, is that why he let me out?" he asked softly and Tyki shook his head.

"No, I didn't tell him anything." Tyki voiced.

"But you're needed to draw him in without killing him. And if you want to get your arm back we'll need him now won't we." Tyki voiced and started for the alley exit.

Allen followed after quietly for a moment before speaking up again, purring faintly at the warmth on his skin as he stepped out of the alley and into the sunlight.

"Will he be mine Tyki? Can I keep him?" Allen smiled up at the Noah, his eyes turning a golden hue.
