ello~ Akashicchi/Akashi/Akashi-san/Aka-chin! We've come to visit you~!" They shouted/sang/said in unison.
The air was tense. No one dared to break in under the devil's spawn's glare. It was obvious that he did not appreciate the visit. The glinting scissors in his hand said the intruders' fate. His face was eerily calm, and his voice was slow and controlled. "What have I done to deserve this… visit of yours?" Had bloodlust not been radiating off him, the gang might had taken this as a genuine question. But that was not the case. Everything about the red head screamed 'KILL!' which was not good for the sweating bunch, at all.
Kuroko was hiding in the shadows, deciding that he was too greatly amused by the scene playing out in front of him that he would not save those poor souls currently dying of fear. The bluennett might not look it, but he too, has moments where he enjoys watching people getting sadistically tortured. Maybe it was because they just looked so… vulnerable, that he wanted to bully them. Yeah, that's why.
He smiled slighting as he watched cold sweat growing from the intruders' skin, maybe he should watch this type of thing more often. It does take a bit of stress off his mind. Meanwhile, Akashi was still unmoving, waiting for the answer that would probably sign the intruders' death sentence.
Silence hung in the air, and when the group could no longer stand it, Kuroko decided to finally take pity on those pitiful humans and step in. "Akashi-kun," he stepped out of his hiding spot "It's not good to bully the weak." He smirked inwardly, yes, those people do look mentally weak… but then again, maybe it was that his own mental defense was just too great… Ah, he was straying off the main point, wasn't he?
There were multiple replies that was going on inside everyone else's heads, something along the line of 'is he crazy?! Akashi is going to kill him!' and 'Thank god! I'm safe!'
Akashi seemed to snap out his murderous trace when he felt a cool hand resting on his shoulder, he glanced down to see the doll whom he met the day before, and smiled gently at him. Again, shock ran through the audiences' head, and Midorima's glasses promptly cracked into many pieces before Momoi ran out of the room screaming bloody murder, closely followed by Kise. Aomine turned as pale as Snow White, and then he followed Kise, fainting, yet again, like a princess. Murasakibara's eyes widened as he stopped eating, and then he jumped out of a window, squealing like a little school girl.
Both remaining males chuckled at the display, greatly amused. Then they looked at each other, surprised at their own outbursts, before cracking up again. They held onto each other for support as laughter shook their bodies. They did not recall how long they laughed on the floor, chests heaving and eyes glittering with tears of laughter, but they did however remember how they stopped laughing after a long time, and sat up.
"I haven't laughed in a long time," Kuroko smiled at Akashi, wiping a tear from his eye. His face was still slightly flushed from the laughing episode earlier on, and his hair was messy from rolling on the floor.
Akashi smiled back; it was amazing how much this boy was changing his life in such a short time. He has the power to make the normally confined and serious boy act so out of character so naturally and easily, it was astonishing. "Me either, Tetsuya, me either."
Their eyes met and they sat in a comfortable silence, silence was an important element in their relationship now, they find ease in each other's company. No words needed to be shared, and a simple gesture says everything they needed to do to express themselves.
Akashi was happy, he realized. In his whole entire life, everything was about winning. Yet this strange boy had managed to bring out another part of him that he did not realized existed, to the extent where he felt like he was a whole new person, and that he could start over again. Tetsuya is truly an amazing creature, Akashi mused.
Kuroko took the time of the silence to momentarily survey the room, staring at the creamy white ceiling and walls that were decorated with golden patterns, marking the apartment as one of the rich's. Beautiful furniture laid around the place, not a single particle of dust touched them. The window looked out to a stunning view of the city underneath, sakura blossoms were everywhere, making the place seem as though it was snowing soft pink petals.
Then his eyes wandered to the one and only Akashi Seijuro, who'd accepted him in such little time, despite knowing the truth about the being before him. How could this man be so trusting? He could be killed by him, so swiftly and effortlessly, Kuroko could snap his neck. Why was he trusted so much? Wasn't this man supposed to be scared like the others and leave him?
His gaze explored the shimmering heteromatic eyes that emitted such a terrifying aura that demanded for obedience, yet undertone with such delicate gentleness, as though whatever he was handling would break like fragile porcelain if handled the wrong way. It was amazing how much this man contracts himself. His pale skin could almost match the blunnett's own, glowing like an angel's in the dim rays that crept through the curtains. The lush lips looked so soft, Kuroko wanted to touch it to feel the texture of it…
But then again, what had happened back then…
"You bitch! I told you to not touch me!"
Pain, blood, more pain.
"How dare you think!"
Another scream.
And then the sickening snap of a bone breaking.
A gentle shake brought his out of his trance. Kuroko looked at Akashi's worried face, and only then did he realize that he was clutching the carpet so hard that his knuckles turned white, and that cold sweat was dripping down the base of his neck, to his shoulders.
"Are you alright, Tetsuya?" the red head asked, genuinely worried about his little doll's health. "You were pale and mumbling under your breath…" His face contorted into a frown of worry. He did not want his Tetsuya to feel uncomfortable… If his Tetsuya was feeling unwell somewhere, it must be taken care of immediately… Or else, he would turn out to be like… Him.
… He really shouldn't think of the past, no matter how painful it is… all this is messing with his head… Even though this Tetsuya looks like the Tetsuya in the past, minus the hair color, it does not mean that they are one and the same… He saw Tetsuya die right in front of him…
"Even though Akashi-kun says that I'm spacing out, he is doing the exact thing himself." Kuroko suddenly said, staring at the other male with his empty gaze.
The Teiko captain blinked, and then after a few seconds to recover, he stood up as though nothing had happened. "I apologize, Tetsuya." He nodded to the other, holding out a hand to help the boy up, with he accepted. Sparked seemed to fly as their hands touched, but since none of the two believed in the cliché term, they simply passed it off as their own imagination.
"Apology accepted. So, Akashi-kun, what are we going to do now?" Kuroko tilted his head at the taller male, waiting for an answer.
Akashi put his hand on his chin as a gesture of thinking, and then his eyes landed on the boy clothed in the slightly over-sized shirt and shorts. A light bulb seems to light up above his head as the obvious thought struck him. Of course! How could he forget!
"We're going shopping for you, Tetsuya." Akashi smiled at Kuroko, earning a surprised yelp at his comment. And then a string of protests came from the boy, something about wasting money. But Akashi would hear nothing of that, and he proceeded to dress the boy in more presentable clothing and dragged him out of the apartment complex.
For Kuroko, it was all a new experience. Since he had turned back into a doll before he could even step out the house, he never saw outside. It was always dark and cold. He'd always thought that the world was a cold place, but the sun currently shining on his skin told another story. It was as though the world was all filled with sakura blossoms and people chattering happily, walking around the place like they had no worry in life.
The amazed doll looked around him with childlike wonder, making the man beside him to chuckle at his cuteness. "Enjoying the view, Tetsuya?" He asked the boy who was still looking around him like a newborn who had just gained the ability to see properly. The boy only nodded slightly in response. Then his eyes landed on a certain shop; namely Maji Burgers. Akashi followed his gaze and 'tsk'ed slightly in disapproval.
"That is not healthy for you, Tetsuya." He tried to drag the teen away, but he stubbornly remained rooted to the ground, refusing to move. None of the two wanted to give in, until Kuroko turned his infamous puppy dog eyes onto his poor victim; in this case, Akashi Seijuro.
The man sighed, "Fine." He said, "But straight after that we are going to the mall. And you are sharing the food with me, as you are still not used to human food, it might cause you to be ill." But the other was no longer with him. He was already skipping towards the shop.
Akashi sighed at the childlike antic, and followed.
Neither realized that the red head had just suggested them to share indirect kisses through sharing food.
