Annabeth POV

He held me tightly, but that was necessary, otherwise they would think something was up.

He put a finger to his lips and sneered menacingly and mimed cutting my throat, but I got the meaning. Stay quiet or even I would not be able to protect you.

Finally he guided me towards a room and smiled.

Grinning, I said, "Ethan Nakamura, I love you so much."

"That's what brother's are for, protecting their sisters."

We both were grinning. Finally after so long, I was spending quality time with him, if you could call this quality.

He shut the door. I hugged him tight.

"Tell me Anna, why do you get in so much trouble?"

I know, I know. I should not be smiling but I couldn't help it. "I don't know I guess."

He patted my back. "That is all very good and I would love to chat more but... we have got some work to do, sister dear."

"Yes, sir," I mock saluted him.

"Stop grinning. It is distracting."

We got to plan making.

"Annabeth, I don't know anything about why they kidnapped you, but I have a slight idea, do you?"

I nodded.

"They asked me to deliver information."

"Your mother I am guessing?"

"Yup!"

"You need to get out of here. It is not safe here."

"Yeah? I so didn't know that, brother."

"Annabeth, you need to be serious. This is not something small. Something big is happening, and it is going to stab us in the back and sweep us off our feet if we are not prepared."

-XYZ-

"Okay, I'll tell Kronos that you will deliver us information and you'll pretend to be very frightened and all that, got it?"

"Sure doc."

He stared at me.

"Sorry!"

"Annabeth, be serious now, this is no joking matter"

-XYZ-

I would be going back "home" tomorrow.

Percy POV (A/N: This is important. Earlier I said Percy is CIA, NOW I AM CHANGING IT TO FBI, okay, good?

Where is that girl? It has been days, and she is not anywhere.

I went to her house and –

Flashback:

"Um, can I meet Annabeth?"

"Why isn't she at school?" said Fredrick Chase.

"She isn't at home?"

"Nah! Come to think of it she hasn't been home for a few days now."

I had no idea how that man was taking this so lightly.

"Sir, do you mean to say you haven't tried to find her at all."

"Um.. yes yeah, we have, what do you mean to say?" His face was getting redder. He banged the door on my face.

Flashback over-

Annabeth, do you even know how much trouble you are in.

Tring Tring

I took the call.

"Mr. Jackson, what's the situation?"

"Its OK sir."

"And that girl."

"I will find her, sir, give me time."

"Jackson, do you even know how important this mission is?"

"Yes, sir."

"Do you know, now? Do you care that the whole school would be destroyed? All the students and teachers would be dead. Do you know what Kronos is planning?"

"Yes, sir. I assure you that the situation will be handled."

"Agent, you are one of the best, and you know this. The future of our children would be dead. The country, it depends on you Percy, son. It's great, the pressure, I know, but you need to ..."

"Sir, certainly, I understand you. I know this, you and your family depends on me. And you would not be disappointed. No harm will come to the Athena's daughter, sir. This I promise you."

After all, she is my best friend.

"Percy, please, once."

"Sir, yes?"

"Percy, please."

"Your wish my command, sir."

"Son, please."

"Bye, dad." I hung up.

Thalia POV

"Nico, something is up."

Said person stopped shaving and turned to me.

"What do you mean cuz?" He was serious for once, I would give him that.

"Don't you feel it, that someone is planning something," I said, my eyebrows pressed together.

"OK, you are serious, you are sitting on the edge of my bed and not as if you own it," he cracked a grin.

"Nico!" I pleaded.

"OK, Thalia. Yes, and for the last two years I have been telling you this."

I looked down.

"This group we are with, this Drew, Rachel, Luke, Silena, something is up. They are either lying or are this ...," he added

"Ever since Percy came back, things have been off."

"I told you to never leave Annabeth. Percy specifically told us to stand by her."

"I know, I know, and now I don't know where Annabeth is."

"Thalia, I don't think this is passing. Something will happen, soon." I watched as he lay down the length of his bed, eyes watching the fan circling around the room like our problems.

"We need to talk to Percy, there's is something about him that makes me scared."

"You too?!," Nico let a smile slide on his face. He opened his arms wide and beckoned his side. I lay down beside him, wanting the cushion to swallow me.

"Something big is happening."

Suddenly Nico jumped up, "You don't think any of this related to our parents?"

I could see his reasoning.

"The Olympians? Could be," I shrugged.

"Yeah, but then, why the sudden interest?"

"Meaning you have been getting calls from Uncle Hades and the rest."

"You too." He face relaxed to a no-expression. Then he again jumped up.

"That means Percy has been getting calls too," he said.

"And Annabeth," I added, nodding furiously.

"But then we wonder where the singer quotation adds up to."

I hugged him tight and whispered.

"Looks like we have some work to do, brother dear."

"But with great responsibility, comes the great need to take a nap."

"Wake me up later."

I smiled.

Nothing cheers you up like a heart-to-heart with a brother or a cousin.

Eww... did I really think that.

I dozed off next to Nico, my idiotic cousin.

A/N: Hello fellas, long time no see?

I know, late update and I am really sorry. I always thought that when you have vacation, you get more time to enjoy. Looks like I have the opposite. Yesterday I got to know that I won't be home for 2 weeks starting this Saturday. I was like really guys, you tell me now? Who would do my homework. I can't finish my homework in just 2 weeks. That's like haw... . I have just completed my FRENCH HHW.( who else thinks French is difficult to speak/write?

And stared my sst project.
