AN: So hi guys. You all hate me, I get it. I haven't been here for like 3 months. But, if you give me a minute or two before reading on, I can explain why.

I started this story was back in May last year. In June, my Nan was diagnosed with Lung Cancer. In August, it was announced as terminal and that she only had a maximum of 5 months left. We spent countless days over the Christmas break going to visit her in hospital. She died ion early January and her funeral was last week. Another family member who was extremely close to us died in October.

That is my reason for not being around.

Anyway on a lighter note, I am BACK BABIES! I will post the video I planned as soon as I re-record and edit it. The first one went wrong with the filming :(

I'm not answering reviews in this chapter because they are being included in my video.

On with the long, long, long awaited 5th chapter for Heroes Triumph. ~KRF

Berk

I was beaten.

I looked around. All I could see, all I could hear was Alvin's laughter and pleasure at the destruction he'd wrought. There was pain everywhere. T-there were fires and smoke.

I had no choice.

"Alvin!" I shouted, "I'll go with you." His laughter got louder and louder, as did the collective gasps from the villagers, and Astrid's cries for me to stop and think. But nothing, nothing, was as bad as seeing my father, Stoick the Vast, struggle to pick himself up so that he could fight Alvin for his village. For me. But it was futile. Dad was just too weak and Alvin too powerful. There was only one thing for me to do. I shook off the outcast who was holding my chains and leapt in between the two burly Vikings.

"I said I'll go with you Alvin." I yelled as loud as I could with a collapsed lung. "Leave everyone else alone. You've got what you came for." My father's face fell, as did his body but Gobber rushed forward in time to catch him.

What happened next was a bit of a blur. Three outcasts came and restrained me, though I put up no fight, whilst Alvin barked orders at the rest of his men. The fallen Berkians looked on in fear and anguish as they were being pushed into what was left of their homes or the safe embrace of the great hall.

"Weeeell, looks as though we've finally done it boys. Berk is ours!" a chuckling Alvin came and grabbed my face in his meaty paws, "Wudn' yeh say so 'Iccup?" I turned my face away as best as I could and the outcasts met us with an uproar of applause and cheering, pushing and pulling me towards the docks. Four more of the Vikings grabbed Toothless' cage. Though I didn't want him to be in the same danger as I was; I was happy for the company of my greatest friend. I didn't have to face whatever was coming alone. Who knew if I'd ever see Berk again. Let alone Gobber, Astrid or Dad.

Once everything was secured and ready with me and my Night Fury, the ship sailed; leaving behind a boat load of Outcasts to keep the Berkians in order. I could see the archipelago slowly growing smaller and fainter in the distance and my heart dropped.

This must've been what it was like for her. Leaving behind her friends, family and home. Never knowing if she'd ever return to see them once more.

To see me again.

This must've have been exactly how it felt for her.

My mother.

AN: TA DA! SOoOo, what do you think. This has been sitting in the back of my mind for ages: Hiccup never knew about his mother, then I saw the HTTYD 2 trailer (SO PSYCHED BY THE WAY) and I had to put this in.

Let's all meet up at local cinemas and wear Heroes Triumph T-Shirts (plain shirts with Heroes triumph written on them in pen by you guys) so we can identify each other when we go to see it.

Also, I'd love to hear where you guys are all reading from. I'm in the East Middlands in England!

Right, I have to go as I have a Media essay due in tomorrow and I haven't even started it. Bless you if your sneezed! ~KRF
