Title: Percy Jackson and the Titans

Fandom: Percy Jackson and the Olympians / Heroes of Olympus

Disclaimer: All rights reserved to Rick Riordan for creating the Percy Jackson-verse. Some credit should also go to fellow FF writer Takara Phoenix as the basic plot was inspired by one of the alternative universes briefly glimpsed in her fic "All the Percybilities," and certain other details from her other fics (such as Percy's foster brother and a few pairings I've come to like purely because she portrays them in her fics).

Warnings: Because I'm not entirely sure the way the entire plot is going to unfold myself, I can't give a comprehensive list jst yet. But I can pretty much guarantee shounen-ai, shoujou-ai, and character death, and some OOC behavior

Main Pairings: Jasercy (JasonXPercy), Fraleo (FrankXLeo)

Side Pairings: Lukercabeth (LukeXPercyXAnnabeth), StollsNico, Thalianca (ThaliaXBianca), Cecilou (CecilXLou), Reyper (ReynaXPiper), Alabastan (AlabasterXEthan), Charlena (BeckendorfXSilena), Chrisse (ChrisXClarisse), Jill (JakeXWill) [more may be added later]

Summary: Ten-year-old Percy Jackson and his younger foster brother run away from home in the hopes of keeping their mother safe from the monsters that have begun stalking them since they've begun to exhibit weird powers. Fending for themselves on the streets for two years, they are eventually lead by a blond young man to a place that is a safe haven for those like themselves: Camp Half Blood. But this is not the happy ending we expect. Feeling abandoned by his father and shunned by the other campers, a heavy decision will sway a deifferent way than fate predicted...

Chapter Three: When Did I Sign Up for Degrassi?

xXxPercyxXx

Percy wouldn't lie, he'd honestly expect more of a warm welcome hen he'd arrived at camp. His limited knowledge of Greek mythology showed that it was usually children of Zeus or Poseidon that became heroes. Bt it seemed that as soon as he and Leo hd arrived, the son of Hephaestus had been quickly accepted, while the son of Poseidon... maybe shunned wasn't exactly the right word, but largely ignored.

So far, Annabeth and Luke were the best he could say he hd in terms of friends. He'd connected somewhat with Bianca nad her little brother, Nico, but not as well as with the two blonds. It was through Luke that he'd made his few other friends: Ethan, Alabaster, and Lou. None of the three were children of Hermes, but apparently there were two serious issues when it came to the gods at this camp. Firstly, there was the fact that not all children were ever claimed by their godly parent. There were certain factors that made it obvious one was a demigod, but unless you were on of the few like Leo and Percy to exhibit specific powers indicitave of who your parent was, being directly claimed was the only way to tell. And there were a lot of kids who had not been claimed, nor had any sort of power to indicate who their godly parent was.

But that wasn't the case with his friends. Lou and Alabaster were both children of Hecate. Unclaimed, but they had power which made it clear who their mother was. And Ethan was a claimed son of Nemesis. No, the problem with these three was that their mothers were minor godesses. And only the Olympian gods had cabins at camp. Unclaimed children and children of minor gods spent their time in Hermes Cabin. As the god of travelers, among other things, the children of Hermes saw it as their duty to take these children in.

"Don't you guys find it... unfair?"he questioned, picking at his food at lunch. "I mean... your parents aren't any less iimprtant, really."

"Damn right, it's unfair!" Alabaster responded with a frown, stabbing at his own food.

"But what can you do?" Lou sighed. "It's just the way things are. It's not like we have the authority to tell the gods to change things."

"You can't even ask Mr. D to say something on your behalf?" Percy asked. "I mean, he sees first hand how tough it is."

"Do you really get the feeling Mr. D gives a care about us?" Ethan spoke up. "You were filled in on how he's only here as part of a punishment for Zeus, right?"

Percy let out a sigh. As much as being a son of Poseidon had made making friends pretty difficlt, and being alone in that cabin every night kinda sucked, it had to be worse being cramped in that cabin with so many people. Few people in that cabin had a bed all to themselves, either sharing with someone else, or sleeping on the floor. Not that Ethan and Alabaster seemed to mind sharing a bed, but Percy got the distinct feeling there was more than friendly feelings between the two, even though officially they were just friends right now. In fact, there was one case of three to a bed in that cabin.

Percy didn't know the Stoll brothers very well. He knew they were among those in the cabin because they were legitimately claimed sons of Hermes, and the fact that they were pranksters was just more proof of that fact. And they had supposedly been the first friends- outside his sister and surrogate siblings Luke and Annabeth- that Nico had made when he came to camp. The cabin hadn't been quuite as crowded then as it was now. Apparently Nico and Bianca had innitially shared a bunk. But as more and more unclaimed or minor god children appeared in the camp, the cabin became more and more cramped. Nowadays Bianca shared a bed with an unclaimed girl- Sierra or something like that- while Nico squeezed between Conoor and Travis. Percy wasn't as sure about those three's relationship as he was Ethan and Alabaster's. He didn't tend to spend much time with the virtually insperable trio. But one thing was certain, the two brothers were very possessive of the Italian boy.

xXxLeoxXx

When Leo had first learned that he and Percy would be separated, he had freaked out. For the past two years, it had always just been him and Percy. Being separated from his brother was not something he was ready to do. But he didn't have a choice. Chiron and Mr. D had made it clear that Percy had to stay in the Poseidon cabin- alone, as he was the only child of the sea god- while Leo had to stay in the Hephaestus Cabin.

On the bright side, Leo wasn't completely alone like Percy was. Hephaestus was apparently one of the gods who got around quite a bit, because Leo had plenty of siblings to connect with. The cabin head was Beckendorf, but the ones Leo himself had gotten closest to were Jake and Nyssa.

"How are you handling the adjustment, Firebug?" Nyssa questioned, sitting on the edge of Leo's bunk. She was only about a year older than hi, but she'd been quick to adopt the protective big sister role shortly after his arrival a month ago.

"It's... tough."he confessed. "Mostly not getting to spend much time with Percy."

Nyssa gave a small smile of understanding. "The whole thing is always a big adjustment. But it gets easier. Promise."

Leo nodded, hugging Hapy close to his chest. He didn't doubt the truth of her words, but it didn't change the fact that it was tough. He'd gotten so used to always being with his brother, he didn't know how to handle being without him...

Percy leaned, exhausted, against Luke's side. Capture the Flag was a hell of a lot tougher at Camp Half Blood than it had been in elementary school.

"You did good, Seaweed Brain."Annabeth praised from his other side as Luke reached up to ruffle his black hair. Percy blushed at the praise from the both of them, turning his head to hide it against Luke's shoulder.

"Th... thanks..."he muttered.

"Are you blushing, Perce?"Luke smirked.

"No!"Percy insisted. "I'm not some girl who blushes from any little bit of praise!"

"Liar."Annabeth said, leaning over his shoulder. "You can hide your face all you want but your ears are burning red."

"Are not!" he argued, his hands shooting up to cover his ears. Luke chuckled, taking advantage of the minor distraction to tilt Percy's face up, getting a good look at his blushy face.

"You're actually pretty cute when you blush."he commented.

"Wha-?" Percy started in confusion, not sure if he should be offended or not. But before he could finish even that word, he felt a pair of lips agaisnt his own. Sea green eyes went wide in shock. Was... was Luke kissing him? What was going on? He hadn't even fully processed that thought before he felt Annabeth's arms around his waist from behind, resting her chin on his shoulders. So not only was Luke kissing him, Annabeth was casually, closely observing.

"I think you shut his brain down."he heard Annabeth giggle next to his ear. It was then that he realized Luke had broken the kiss, but was overing only a few inches before his face.

"You okay, Perce?"the blond male questioned.

"What... what was that...?" Percy stammered. Luke laughed.

"I didn't think you ere so innocent you wouldn't know what a kiss is."he said amused.

"I know what a kiss is!"his face was red again now. "I mean why did you kiss me?!"

"Isn't it obvious?"Annabeth questioned. "We like you, Seaweed Brain."

"We?"Percy squeaked.

"Yes, we." Luke nodded, exchanging glances with Annabeth over Percy's shoulder. "We talked about it, and we decided there's no point in destroying our friendship fighting over you. So we can share. But only if that's what you want, of course."

Percy felt his heart thumping against his ribcage as he tried to process what they were saying. So both Luke and Annabeth wanted to be with him... and they weren't going to make him choose between them?

Before he had come to camp, he hadn't really thought much about relationships or his own sexuality. He'd been too focused on keeping himself and Leo alive. Even since coming here, he'd only vaguely started to think about it. Ethan's and Alabaster's obvious to everyone but each other feelings for one another, Nico's questionable relationship standing with the Stoll brothers, Lou's carefully hidden crush on Cecil that on her closest friends knew of... it was hard to keep not thinking about it. One of the things he had learned in his time here was just how much more accepting the ancient Greeks- and by extension, these children of the ancient Greek gods- were of what would be considered abnormal or frowned upon relationships in modern society. Homosexuality, poliamory... weren't really viewed as a big deal in this crowd. So it wasn't as if he'd be getting any odd looks if he were really to entertain this relationship they were suggesting.

"I... I'm not really sure about this..."Percy murmured. "But... I can give it a try."

Percy couldn't deny the way the pleased smile on Annabeth's face or the big grin on Luke's made his heart flutter. He had no idea how to make a regular relationship work, let alone what he'd just agreed to. But if what the two blonds said was true, he could at least try...

xXxNicoxXx

Nico wasn't really sure how he felt about those two new kids. Especially the way that Percy kid seemed to be taking most of Luke and Annie's attention ever since he'd arrived. He refused to admit he was pouting, but... well, he was dammit! Luke and Annabeth were like his big brother and sister, the only family he and Bianca had left since their father had abandoned them, and both their mother and Thalia had died. They weren't allowed to be so focused on someone else. It wasn't fair!

"You're pouting again."observed Will, poking the Italian between the eyes.

"I am not."Nico said, still pouting all the while.

"Yeah, you are."Connor stated from his other side. "In fact, you've been pouting even more since Luke and Annabeth got together with-"

"Don't finish that sentence."Nico scowled. It was bad enough that the guy had been stealing their attention when he was just some new camper. But now they were actually DATING him? Not cool!

"Niccolo." Nico frowned as he glanced up from the lake where he sat with his friends, eyes falling on his sister. She never called him by his full first name, not unless something serious was going on. "We need to talk, Niccolo. Alone."

Nico shot an uncertain look to Will and the Stoll brothers. The Stolls looked uncertain, as if they wanted to follow after him, but Will placed a restraining hand on both brunettes' shoulders, nodding Nico in the direction of his sister. With a resigned look, Nico stood and followed after the other Italian. Once they were alone, Bianca turned to her brother.

"Nico... how much do you remember from before mamma died?"

Nico frowned. "Not a lot. Most of what happened before we met Luke, Thals and Annie is... really fuzzy."

Bianca sighed. "That's what I figured."

Nico frowned when Bianca reached out and took Nico's hand, a guilty look on her face. "Bianca...?"

"I've been lying about a lot of things, Nico..."Bianca whispered. "To Luke and Annie... Chiron and Mr. D... even you."

"Me?!"Nico blinked in shock. "What are you talking about?!"

Bianca sat on a rock, propping her arms on her knees as she spoke lowly. "For one thing, I know exactly who our father is."

"You do? Really?" Nico's eyes brightened. "Well, who is it?"

"It's... Hades."

"Hades? Lord of the Underworld...?" Nico thought it over with a frown. "Well, that's honestly not what I was expecting. But, if you knew... why did you hide it?"

"A half-blood of the eldest gods

Shall reach sixteen against all odds

And see the world in endless sleep

The hero's soul, cursed blade shall reap

A single choice shall end his days

Olympus to preserve or raze."

"What does all that mean, Bianca?"Nico questioned, kneeling beside his sister.

"It's a prophecy. One that was handed down about seventy years ago. It's why the Big Three made that pact that Chiron told us about."

Nico's expression turned to one of confusion. "Yeah, I'd forgot about that. So our dad broke the pact too, huh?"

"Thalia and Percy are both the result of Zeus and Poseidon breaking the agreement." Bianca shook her head. "You and I... we were born before the prophecy was given."

"No... you said it was given seventy years ago."

Bianca gave a rueful smile. "It was. You were only six years old at the time. After... after mamma died, you weren't coping well. Pappa and I couldn't find any other solution to help you. So..." Bianca closed her eyes, regret of the decison she was about to reveal clear on her face. "So we gave you some water from the River Lethe."

"You... you what?!" Nico demanded. "You mean you erased my memories?!"

"Yes."Bianca whispered, her voice tight. "You were having such terrible nightmares. You didn't sleep, you hardly ate... the only way we could see for you to cope was for you to forget."

Nico swallowed hard. To steal his memories from him... he wasn't sure right now if he had it in him to forgive his sister, nor the father he had never met. But there was still something else she hadn't explained.

"That doesn't explain how we were apparently born before a prophecy that was made seventy years ago, Bianca. Even if you did steal my memories, I don't need them to be able to tell that I'm physically only eleven years old."

Bianca nodded. "Pappa put us in a special place to keep us safe, one where Zeus and Poseidon would never find us. Time flows differently in that place. Remember how we stayed in that cool hotel for a while? The one with all the games and great food?" Nico nodded. "Well... it only felt like we were there a month. But in the outside world, seventy years passed."

"Why... why did he keep us there so long?"

"Because pappa wants one of us to be the hero of the prophecy."she explained. "When he realized that Zeus had already broken the pact he decided it was time to take us from the hotel and send us to camp."

"But Thalia was older than us."Nico frowned. "She still would have been the hero, wouldn't she?"

"Not if she didn't live to sixteen..."Bianca whispered. Nico was confused again for a few moments before his eyes grew wide.

"Those hell hounds... they weren't just loose on their own. Our father sent them after us?!"

"I'm sure they had orders not to harm me or you."she murmured. "But Luke, Annabeth, Thalia, Grover..."

"I... I can't believe all of this..."Nico said weakly. "So our dad's the bad guy?"

"No!" Bianca was quickly on her feet. "Pappa may have made some bad decisions, but he's no worse than any of the other gods! Do you know how mamma died, Niccolo?! Do you?!" Nico could clearly see tears shining in Bianca's eyes, which worried him. Bianca was normally so much calmer than this. "We weren't against the pact! We were already born before they made it! But that made no difference to Zeus! He wasn't going to wait around hoping some monsters would pick us off. That bastard tried to kill us himself! Pappa managed to protect us, but mamma... mamma..."

Nico didn't know how to react as he watched his sister collapse into tears. Zeus had killed their mother, tried to kill them? Even though they had been born before that stupid promise?

"Bianca... I..."

"Pappa is not a villain, not the bad guy so many of the stories make him out to be..."Bianca whispered, pulling herself together enough to look at Nico. "He's not perfect. But none of the gods are. You have to remember that, Nico. All of the gods have their moments where from one side of the story, they seem like the evil ones. Remember that."

Nico nodded. "I.. I will..."

Author Note: So this is the fic that's likely to get the most focus for a while for one reason: My external harddrive went out on me, so all the partially written chapters for my other fics are gone. This was the only one I was working on that I hadn't yet started working on the next chapter for, and with everything going on, I didn't have the brain power to try to remember word for word what I'd written on the partial chapters I'd lost. That's not to say the rest are abandoned, just that this one will be more central for a while.

Secondly, while I for the most part discount the movie version in all things, I have one guilty pleasure I'd like to confess from having seen Sea of Monsters: When I'm working on this, I tend to listen to Fall Out Boy's "My Songs Know what You Did in the Dark (Light 'Em Up)" either by itself on loop, or as part of a ten song playlist I kinda associate with the series (won't list all the songs titles here, but let's just say Linkin Park, Demi Lovato, Fall Out Boy, Nightcore, Imagine Dragons, Hiroyuki Sawano, t.A.T.u., and Reliant K are the bands on the list. And one of the songs is actually the "Round" version of Light Em Up, so I guess technically it's only a nine song list, and Fall Out Boy is the only band to get a second song beyond the one/s already mentioned from them).
