Freddie sat on his bed working on his math homework when his cell phone began buzzing. He placed his pencil down and turned his attention to the desk next to the bed and picked up his blue ipear phone.
"Hey Freddork, what`s up?" read Freddie smiling.
"Not much just doing math homework" he typed out then set his phone back down. Just as he picked up his pencil again the phone when off once more.
"Can we talk?" she asked.
"Yea" he responded "meet you on the fire escape" he finished setting his phone down once more. He returned to his bed and closed his textbook and notebook and walked over to the windowsil. As he reached the windowsil a blonde came into view.
"Hey" said Sam shyly as she took a seat on the stairs.
"Hey" replied Freddie half waving to Sam. They stared at one another for a couple of minutes before Freddie started.
"So...what did you want to talk about?" asked Freddie Sam looked down at the ground for a few second before returning her gaze to Freddie.
"I was wondering what you wanted to do?" she asked staring into his big brown eyes.
"Do about what?" he asked. Sam frowned.
"About us?" she responded moving her finger between the two of them. Freddie`s eyes went wide.
"You mean about our relationship?" he questioned.
"Yea"
"What about it?
"I think we should keep it between us"
"Why"
"Because I have a reptuation to keep and I do not want people to think I am going soft dating a nerd"
"yea" responded Freddie smiling sadly. Sam got up and walked over to Freddie sitting down next to him. In a moment of weekness she wrapped her arm around him. He responded by laying his head on her shoulder. In silence they sat as the city around them kept moving as if they were not there.
"I should go" said Sam moving away from Freddie before he could respond.
"I will see you tommorrow" he said smiling at her.
"Yea you will Freddork" she returned smiling. As she began climbing down the fire escape she called out to Freddie.
"Don`t forget mum is the word"
"Got it" he replied shaking his head and walking back into his bedroom. He returned back to his bed and started working on his math homework once again.
