I woke up the next morning thinking about how my life could get any better. Draco would need to be trained for a long time. I would have to start with the basics, and then move along until he gets the entire concept. I love to help people, but I will try extra hard to help Draco. He doesn't have to follow in his families footsteps. I would never try to follow in Lucius and Narcissa's footprints at all even if they were my parents. Mudblood is certainly not a very nice thing to call other people. And neither is half-breed or blood traitor. I hope Draco really does see the light in people instead of the darkness. I walked to my suitcase, pulled out my silk green dress and a light green sweater. I don't have school for today, and the conflict I'm having with Harry isn't helping anyway. I wasn't looking forward to anything, and of course Harry wouldn't want me to hang out with Draco, but I couldn't help the fact that I was yearning to see Draco again. I wandered to the Great Hall, and sat down across from Neville, and in between Hermione and Ginny. Harry wasn't even talking to me. I turned towards the Slytherin table, and saw Draco. I gave him a bright smile, and turned back to the Gryffindor table. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Harry was glaring at me, but I shook it off, and laid my attention back to the fantastic food that showed up on all our plates. I ate my food peacefully, and when I was done, I headed out the Great Hall. When I was a couple inches away from the doorway, I felt someone pull me. I turned around, and saw Draco blushing. I think he was trying to act like he knew something, but he actually didn't.

"Hello Draco, how was your sleep?" I asked happily.
"Lily, did you mean everything that you said last night?" he asked instead of answering my question.
"What, er, do you mean?" I replied.
"When you said that you cared for me, and were going to teach to become like you," he said.
"Yes, I did," I muttered.

Draco's eyes widened. I wasn't surprised because even I thought it was going to be very hard to change the Malfoy's ways of thinking. My eyes fell on the floor. "Lily, I will try my hardest, but I don't know if I will be as sweet and caring as you," he replied suddenly. I blushed a deep red, maybe like my own hair color. I turned to walk away, and head to potions class where I would be having classes with Slytherins, but Draco grabbed me again. He wrapped his arms around me waist just like last night, and without thinking I wrapped my arms around his neck, as he placed a soft wet kiss on my lips. I felt someone was staring at us, so we pulled apart, and sure enough someone was staring at us. I saw a tall boy with messy hair and emerald eyes staring back. Oh no. I knew something was going to happen.

"Lily, I told you he isn't to be trusted," Harry said.
"Harry, just because I'm your cousin doesn't mean you can tell me what to do every moment of the day," I shouted back.
"Lily, I'm trying to look after you," Harry said.
"Yes, well you don't even know half of who I am," defended Draco.
"I know that your family is the Malfoys, and that you not trustworthy," replied Harry.
"I'm very trust worthy, when you come to know me better," Draco said calmly.

For the first time I had been in Hogwarts, Harry and Draco had an argument, and not a fight. I was happy to see that their hands and fists aren't part of this fight. After two minutes, Harry and Draco stopped the argument, and walked their separate ways. I felt someone grab my hand, so I turned around to Draco hadn't left yet. I gratefully grabbed his hand and walked to class not that we had to, I wanted to learn my way around the school before school start. Draco gave me a complete tour around the school, I gleamed at him. I really would do anything to changes his ways. Even have a less enthusiastic cousin. Draco and I were going over everything in the castle of course that he knew. When the tour was done, we went outside, and played in the snow. I felt Draco was opening up to the light pretty well. Draco and I were sitting under a tree next to the frozen pond. It has been a while since i have last ice skated with my family. I wonder if I should try it with Draco. Maybe he'll enjoy it. I grabbed a rock, and threw it at the pond. When I noticed the pond wad sturdy enough to skate on. I grabbed Draco, and pushed him onto the frozen pond, but I hadn't realized that he was holding my arm. As he slid on the ice, he pulled me along with him. When Draco got the hang of skating he let me go, and fled to the other side of the lake. When he arrived, he had the most terrified face plastered on. I was beginning to worry. Draco was the best person I have ever met.

"Hey Malfoy, still hanging out with my cousin, eh?" Harry called.
"Potter, I would like to see you find the right person for yourself," Draco called back.
"I already have one!" Harry retorted.
"Who, Scarhead?" Draco questioned.
"Why would you like to know, Malfoy?" Harry answered.
"Would both of you stop?!" I shouted.

I grabbed Draco's hand, and walked away from Harry. Malfoy stepped back, and then leaned in to give me a wet kiss on the lips. As he moved in started to wrapped his arms around my waist, but I shoved him away sighing. I walked away without saying good bye. I felt tears stinging my eyes as I walked away. Draco was still standing there, but I didn't want to have my cousin to continue hating me, and plus the fact that it was already dusk. Draco and I had been "ice skating" for far longer than I thought. I walked into the library, and bumped into Hermione. I couldn't stop thinking about Draco. Will he ever turn his back on the dark side? My questions will probably go unanswered for a while, but at least I can help Draco in the meantime. I walked back yo the Gryffindor common room. I started to walk towards my dorm, when I saw Harry.

"Lily, I'm sorry I ruined your fun with um... Dra... Draco," Harry murmured.
"Don't worry, you were absolutely correct, he can't turn his back on the dark side. I should probably just give up," I replied.

I walked up to my dorm, and changed into my light orange silk pajamas. Hermione just got in the dorm along with Katie. I guess they were going to talk about well whatever they are going to talk about. I just tucked myself in my sheets, and fell fast asleep thinking about Draco.

A/N:
Sorry for the late update, but I was a bit busy with homework and friendship problems. I was trying to get a chance to write, but with all the phone calling and Thanksgiving going by so fast. I hope you like this chapter. Oh the next chapter is going to be in Draco's point of view. Please vote and comment.
