"Who should keep the stone until it is time for Kol to come back?" Elijah questioned

Rebekah and Elijah had, indeed, hunted the Death Eaters. According to Rebekah, they were puny little ants with only one good spell, the Cruciatus, because the Imperius Curse and Avada Kedavra would not work on them. When both June and Robbie seemed insulted by this, she tried to lament her comment by saying the Death Eaters were weak and that's the reason they we so pathetic. June rolled her eyes while Robbie had muttered something about a nice save, earning a very potent glare from Rebekah.

"I say June should." Rebekah said, taking a sip of blood from a wine glass

June protested, "I wouldn't be able to protect it-"

"I must say I agree with Rebekah," June's head turned to her father in shock, "She has shown that she is very capable. Let her keep the stone safe, after all she is the one who must preform the spell."

After receiving nod of agreement from his brother and sister he nodded to his daughter. June felt the weight of the stone in her pocket, comforting and terrifying at the same time. The Invisibility Cloak was magically locked up in a trunk in her bedroom upstairs. She now had the stone with her. The Elder Wand was the last thing needed to complete the spell, to bring her uncle back. She knew her aunt and uncles were trying not to let themselves hope, just in case the spell didn't work. June would make sure it worked.

Robbie, however, was a mystery to June. There was no way he could have done what he did two times with any spell. She was sure he had something to hide, she just wasn't sure what it was. It's not like she could get pissed at him, she herself was a Hybrid of multiple species. She understood what it was like to be different, hell, even if this all hadn't happened she would have still understood. In Hogwarts it seemed that all she was, was the 'Girl Who Lived'. June was never just a good student, never just a bad student, never just a Quidditch player, never just anything. Always the chosen one.

Maybe, she supposed, one day he'll tell me. However, right now I have bigger problems.

The young man in question, though, was nervous as hell. He knew Klaus had seen him during the fight, he knew his friend's father thought he was something other than just a wizard. Klaus wasn't wrong, of course, but Robbie needed him to think he was normal. That he was just a wizard. It was stupid, he knew, because if he found out and told June, she would understand and probably only be angry because he didn't tell her. However, he had grown up hiding it. His parents told him to never speak of it and he swore he wouldn't. They were long dead, but the habit still remained.

This can wait, he thought, right now we have other issues.

"The Elder Wand," June was happy she was able to keep her voice from shaking, "That's all we need now. If the Death Eaters get it they'll be powerful. Not powerful enough to stop us, but if the one who uses the wand casts a Cruciatus Spell on even an Original, it would hurt them. I was unprepared when they jumped me, I know, and one cast that spell on me. It hurt just like I was human again and, for a second, I thought I was."

"Why do their spells effect us so?" Rebekah interrupted, "When a witch such as the Bennett attempts to give us a magical aneurysm we can usually shake them off easily, unless they are exceptionally powerful, because we are so old."

Robbie snickered and Rebekah turned to him and spoke coolly, "With age comes power. How old are you, again?"

June interrupted, "It's the same thing, really. Unless the Elder Wand casts the spell or the witch or wizard that casts it is very powerful, you should be able to shake it off, just not as easily as you would a 'magical aneurysm'. This is because most witches like the Bennett get their magic from the Spirits, while ours comes from within."

"So, basically, your kind of magic is more powerful than their kind?" Rebekah raised her eyebrows

"Yes, sister, that is what she's saying." Klaus sighed, "Thank you, though, for dumbing it down for everyone."

Rebekah sneered at her brother and was about to say something before Elijah interrupted, "When shall we search the grave for the wand?"

June answered immediately, "As soon as possible."

"Very well." Klaus spoke tightly, "We shall head out as soon as the sun begins to rise."

When Klaus said they would leave as soon as the sun began to rise, he wasn't joking. Merely a few hours later the Original Family and Robbie stood in the living room of Grimmauld Palace, Rebekah slightly grouch and Robbie still in need of some sleep but otherwise perfectly fine. June was bouncing from one foot to the other subconsciously.

"The White Tomb, which is what Dumbledore's' grave is called, is located on the grounds of Hogwarts. Therefore, it will be a lot more difficult to gain access to because of all the magical wards. We'll have to be careful. Though we could probably take on the witches and wizards of the ministry and Hogwarts staff, it's something we want to avoid if we can."

Nods were the only response she got in the silent room. They all knew the stakes, what was at risk. If they didn't get the Elder Wand, there was no chance they could bring Kol back. June grabbed the old, blank diary she had found in the attic when they had first arrived. She knew portkey would work inside Hogwarts grounds, the Triwizard Cup was proof enough, but it would only work if you were powerful enough. She was sure it would work.

Slowly, one by one, hands came from all directions and gripped the book. They were hesitant, what if it was one big disappointment and Kol wasn't going to ever come back, but, then again, what'd they have to lose...

The scenery swirled into view, they were about fifty feet from the shore of the Black Lake. It was on the island in the center of the lake where Dumbledore's grave was held, they just had to figure out a way to get there. June could tell a few members in their little group were dizzy, but they knew better than to speak because the Hogwarts staff might still be hanging around.

"How do we get over there?" Rebekah hissed, keeping her voice low

June was about to respond when a yell echoed through the silence, "CRUCIATUS!"

Bending backwards, June dodged the fast paced light that had been aimed at her with skill she didn't know she had. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me, she though with a smirk. Quickly, she turned to look at her family, who had all taken up fighting stances, and Robbie, who had his wand out and was firing spells back at the Death Eaters. June counted quickly, there were at least twenty of the dark wizards. Klaus finally met his daughters eyes and roared over the noise, "GET THE WAND!"

It was as though someone had pushed a fast forward button. The dark wizards had appeared out of nowhere, but June didn't care. They wouldn't, couldn't, stop her. She had barely let the last word leave her father's mouth before she broke out into a sprint towards the lake. She heard the leader of the dark wizards yelling for them to stop her, bit only one Death Eater managed to bypass her family. He was so far behind her, though, that he didn't have a chance to grab her before she plunged into the freezing water of the lake.

Her head burst above the surface and she took a deep breathe, swimming with all her might and as fast as she could. June didn't even stop when she head the faint splash behind her that signaled the Death Eater had jumped in the water as well. She prayed to who ever was out there with all her might that the dumb squid wouldn't show up.

Finally the island was within her grasp as her fingers clawed on the dirt and sharp rocks as June pulled herself up on the island. Not pausing to catch her breath, she tore into the trees and deep into the woods where the old headmasters grave was. She felt her legs sting as the barbed underbrush cut into her skin. As soon as the cuts were created, though, they disappeared.

She crashed out of the forest that covered the island as into a small clearing. The clean, pure white tomb looked out of place in the middle of the natural setting. It had been untouched by dirt, rain, and anything else nature could throw at it. It was the final resting place of Albus Dumbledore. June wasn't given much time to stare, though, as she had to quickly side step the death eater that came tumbling out after her. The broad man quickly steadied himself and glared at the Hybrid girl in front of him.

"You bloody wench!" He snarled, "You will not get that wand! We're going to bring the Dark Lord back, you cannot-"

Her eyes were gold, her fangs were out, and the death eater didn't stand a chance. She dug her fangs into the mans neck and gripped his arm in a bone shattering hold. He was quickly drained of blood and, when June dropped him and he fell like dead weight to the ground, her mouth and nose and hands were smeared with blood. She ignored it though, and quickly stepped over the body and headed towards the grave.

June ran her fingers across the white marble, leaving bloody streaks behind. She winced as she saw the red that stood put so much against the snowy white color. Shaking her head, she knew she had to hurry, the others might need her help. Focusing her magic, June felt around for the barriers that were placed on the tomb. She found them and, with the efficiency of a woman on a mission, shredded them like paper.

Gripping the lid of the tomb, she didn't think about anything other than getting that wand and pushed. It easily fell to the ground with a loud clatter. June was suddenly staring at the peaceful face of the former headmaster. An unexpected and unwanted wave of emotions and memories washed over her. Her sorting, the pride that always shined in Dumbledore's eyes, the headmaster himself falling off the tower. Getting a grip, June blinked away the pesky tears that sprang up as she quickly ran her eyes over the tomb, looking for the wand.

Green orbs landed on perfectly preserved hands. There, gripped softly in wrinkled fingers, was the Elder Wand. Reaching forward, shaking only a little, she carefully unwrapped the fingers and held the wand the her hands. The hallow seemed to pulse with power and life as it recognized it's master. June pulled the lid back on the tomb and began to walk away, but stopped.

"I know you made mistakes, but you always thought you were doing what was right. You were a good teacher and headmaster, Dumbledore, and I hope you understand my doing this. I would say I'm sorry, but I'm not."

Juniper Mikaelson turned back towards where both she and the now death eater had entered the clearing. There was a small smirk on her lips as she walked, honestly she'd like to see them try and stop her now.

Question of the Chapter: Should June meet the Weasley's and Hermione? How? When? What should be their reactions?
