Chapter Twenty-four: Sacrifice

DICLAIMER: I do not own Harry Potter or Vampire Diaries!

SHOUTOUTS/NOTES: This was a doozie to write.

Klaus and Rebekah stood behind June as she slammed her fist on the door of the Salvatore house. Elijah had stayed at the house with Kol to watch over him and make sure his condition didn't worsen, though June knew he didn't agree with sacrificing the Gilbert girl. Kol was in danger though, and June would kill to make sure her uncle didn't die again. Klaus, meanwhile, stood behind his daughter and watched her as she waited impatiently for the door to open. He knew the look on her face, the cold eyes and glaring stare, the angry determination. He knew the look because it had been present on his face many times when his family was in danger.

All of a sudden, the door opened revealing a confused Stefan Salvatore. His eyes widened when he saw the three Originals, but before he could even open his mouth June's hand shot out. She gripped a fistful of hair and effortlessly twisted him, slamming his head into the wall. He quickly drew back and recovered, rushing towards the green eyed woman with vigor. June dodged his attacks and grabbed one of his arms, twisting it behind his back. She threw him on the floor and slammed her foot down on his neck.

"You made a big mistake." Her lip curled into a sneer, "I'm normally a nice person, but you've pissed me off!"

Reaching down, she snapped his neck with little to no problem and left him on the foyers cold wood floor. She stormed into the kitchen with her father and aunt behind her, eyes darting across the faces present. In a second she recognized the Gilbert girl, the Bennett witch, Caroline, and an older boy who she thought was the doppelgänger's brother. Rebekah quickly rushed towards Caroline and retrained her, knowing Klaus would be pissy if she snapped the younger vampires neck. Klaus himself grabbed Bonnie by her forearm, glaring at her with hateful blue eyes.

"Not this time, Bennett." Bonnie understood his cold words, she knew he wouldn't let her harm anyone else in his family.

June herself stared at Elena with a calm look. She walked forward until she was only about six feet away from the doppelgänger. Jeremy quickly tried to put himself between them, but before June could even retaliate, Elena looked at him with wide brown eyes.

"Jeremy, no! She's a monster, she'll kill you! Run!"

June didn't particularly care about the brunette boy, she was here for Elena and didn't want to harm anyone else. She glanced at Bonnie, the witch who helped kill her brother, well maybe no one else. As Jeremy fled the house by request of his sister, he looked back with desperate eyes, obviously hating that he had to run but knew that he was outmatched.

"Me a monster?" June almost laughed, "That's funny, I don't remember trying to kill you and you're family after you attempted to be kind?"

"You and your family are dangerous, they're killers-"

"You think your precious Salvatores aren't?" June sneered, "They've probably killed just as much as my family has. You're just as bad, Elena, same with you're little friend Bonnie. By killing Kol, you've also killed thousands of vampires all over the globe. It's called a bloodline, my father told me about them. Look it up."

"Now, I would love to stay and chat, loves, but we have places to be." Klaus interrupted

June nodded quickly and grabbed Elena, hitting her in the head with just enough pressure to knock her out. Rebekah dropped Caroline and walked out behind her niece, who was carrying Elena. Klaus dropped Bonnie, who quickly got to her feet and looked at Caroline. The blonde vampire had her head down and a somber feel around her.

"Klaus..." Her voice was quiet

He stooped, his back rigid, and quickly turned back to her, "What, love?"

"I-I..." She looked up

He pursed his lips, "I'm afraid I must go. My brother is dying and I need to be with my family."

"Wait!" Bonnie cried, looking at him with wide brown eyes, "Kol's alive?"

"No thanks to you..." Klaus hissed

"What do you mean he's dying?"

"I mean, Bennett, he was brought back but their had to be a sacrifice."

"You're using Elena." Caroline looked up, not seeming to hold any emotion in her voice

"You don't seem to be upset, love."

"Elena...she was wrong in what she did. June hadn't attacked her and Kol was trying to protect June. She...she's made her bed, now she can lay in it."

Bonnie swallowed, "How are you going to make the sacrifice? You need a witch!"

"My daughter should be able to do that quite well, now I must be going." He said stiffly, running out to catch up with his family

"We have to go, Caroline!" Bonnie looked at the blonde

"Bonnie! You now what Elena did was wrong, just how you know she' been getting even more whiney. I just noticed it, when she killed Kol and attempted June's death. She's not a good person, Bonnie, she's worse than Katherine. I mean, Pierce might be a conniving bitch, but at least she doesn't deny it and act innocent!"

"Caroline, I...I helped kill Kol. I need to make that up to June." And him, she added silently to herself

She looked surprised, blue eyes wide and shocked, "I know you've been friends with Elena longer than I have. You really want to help them...?"

"Like I said, I owe it to June." Bonnie said firmly, "You were right, Elena was wrong in what she did. The least we can do is try and make it right."

Question of the Chapter: Bonnie and Caroline are helping? Should Caroline/Klaus and Bonnie/Kol be a thing or not? And what do you think will happen with Robbie?

Sorry this took so long. I tripped and fell in glass, so a few pieces got embedded in my leg. They had to pull the main piece out and kind of cut the other ones out, it wasn't fun. I've had problems marching (and our first competition is Saturday too), so wish me luck!

The amazing I am Katie Daughter of Demeter is writing a story about June and Robbie in Hogwarts! You guys should go and check that out, it's really good!

Anyway, I rewrote this one five times and I'm finally happy with it! I hope you guys are too!
