Chapter 5

Ben's p.o.v

I was floating in mid air. Beneath me was a big forest, but something was wrong. The leaves were falling off the branches rapidly and the green turned into an unhealthy brown. Suddenly I was falling. A surprised scream left my lips and I quickly pressed down the button on the omnitrix, but nothing happened.

"No!" I exclaimed and tried again, but it didn't work. The ground was coming closer. I could see Gwen. I called out for her, but she didn't hear me.

"Ben!" It was Kevin's voice.

"Kevin! Help! The omnitrix doesn't work!" I yelled, but I still couldn't see him.

"BEN!"

I woke up when Kevin started shaking me.

"Ben, wake up!" He said with a worried look. I stared at him for a couple of minutes before I let myself relax and started to breathe again. I hadn't realized that I was holding my breath. Kevin smiled.

"Good. You're awake." He said and slowly let go of my shoulders.

"I'm sorry. Did I wake you up?" I asked him. He shook his head.

"No, don't worry. I was already awake. What did you dream about?" He asked. I hesitated to tell him. I didn't know why. I thought about it and then decided to tell him anyway.

"I dreamed that I was floating in the air above a forest. The trees were dying as I watched and then I started falling. I tried to use the omnitrix, but it wouldn't work." I told him. Kevin nodded.

"So that's why you were calling for me?" He asked with a grin. I blushed.

"Wha… I spoke in my sleep?" I said. Kevin nodded again.

"Yes, you did." Damn it. I hadn't expected that. Kevin leaned closer. Whaaaa…. His face was so close. I closed my eyes, waiting for the kiss. There never was one. I opened my eyes, confused. Kevin smiled.

"You want me to kiss you?" He asked teasingly. I blushed.

"N-no." I mumbled. He laughed and kissed my cheek.

"You're so cute."

"Don't call me cute." I said and got out of bed. Kevin just laughed.

"So what are we doing today?" I asked after finishing eating my cereals. Kevin had been watching me the whole time. It was a little uncomfortable, but I didn't say anything.

"Gwen said we'll find a snake man or woman and ask them why they're trying to kill you so badly."

"Right…" I said and drank some water. It was quiet for a couple of minutes.

"Ben…?" I looked up and met Kevin's gaze.

"What is it?" I asked. He paused as if to choose his words.

"What do you feel… about sex?" He asked. I blushed. Oh… Sex…

"Oh… I… Uh…" I looked away, feeling embarrassed.

"I… I don't know… I just haven't really… thought about it and I don't think… just…. Not yet…" I mumbled. Kevin closed his eyes and nodded lightly.

"I see. I'll wait until you're ready." He said with a small smile.

"O-okay."

Kevin's p.o.v.

I stepped into the shower. Gwen was going to be here in an hour, so I had better shower before then. I wouldn't want her to bother poor Ben too much with her questions about us. Ben… God I love him! The way he talks, walks… smiles… I could feel the same problem arise as always when I thought about Ben. I always had these fantasies about him, but for now they had to stay fantasies. I couldn't push him to sleep with me. Not when he wasn't ready for it. The guy had never had sex before. He'd been too busy with other things. Like saving the world for example. I could let him sleep a little more. Gwen wasn't here yet anyway. I sat down beside him and looked at the TV. Ben had been watching some kind of comedy when he had fallen asleep. I decided to watch it. The jokes were bad and the actors useless. I sighed lightly and turned it off.

"Kevin…" Ben suddenly mumbled. I looked at him. Was he dreaming about me?

"Yeah?"

"Like you…" Ben mumbled and rolled over on his back. I watched him with a smile.

"Of course you do silly." I said and kissed him lightly. He smiled and continued to sleep. How could he be such a heavy sleeper? Just another thing to love about him though. Someone knocked on the door. It had to be Gwen.

"It's open!" I yelled. I could hear the door open. I could hear Gwen… and someone else step inside? Gwen entered the living room.

"Hi." She said.

"Hi…" I answered and stared at the second guest. Samantha, the snake woman from school who had tried to kill Ben.

We sat around the table. Ben beside me on one side and Samantha beside Gwen on the other side.

"I talked to Samantha and she agreed to have a chat with us to talk about what's going on." Gwen said. Samantha was looking at Ben. I didn't like it.

"Why are you trying to kill him? He hasn't done anything." I said. Samantha turned towards me.

"He will. He's going destroy my dad's home planet." She said calmly. Gwen looked at her.

"Ben would never do that." She said. I nodded. Samantha looked at her.

"Look. The snake-men are usually friendly, but their oracle, Mordam, has foreseen Ben Tennyson destroying their home planet." She said. Ben, me and Gwen looked at each other.

"Your oracle said that?" I asked. Samantha nodded. Ben opened his mouth.

"I'd never do that. The only reason I'd attack any of you is if you're threatening earth, me or my friends." He said. I smiled lightly. Yeah, that's Ben. Samantha frowned.

"Gwen used to tell me that your eyebrow twitched when you lied… You're not lying… But I don't understand. Mordam is never wrong…" She said slowly. It became quiet for a while.

"Maybe someone's forcing Mordam to say that?" Gwen asked. Samantha nodded lightly.

"Maybe… I'll talk to my dad about it… I'm sorry for trying to kill you Ben." She said and stood up.

"Oh… It's okay as long as you understand that I'm a good guy." Ben said with a smile.

"Yeah. I'll see you in school tomorrow." She said and left.

"Smoothly done. This was a good idea Gwen." I said.

"Of course. I'm the only one with good ideas here." Gwen said with a smile.

Ben's p.o.v.

Finally lunch break. I thought I'd never get out of the classroom.

"Ugh… I hate biology." I mumbled.

"I could help you with that if you'd like." A girl's voice said.

"Huh?" I looked up and right into Samantha's face. I felt a little better now, knowing she wasn't after my life.

"Yeah, I appreciate that." I said. She sat down on the other side of the table, opening her lunch box.

"You make your own lunch?" I asked her. She nodded.

"Yeah. How about this afternoon? Your class has a biology test in two days, right?" Oh, we were back to talking about my biology problem.

"Sure, but you'll have to come with me to Kevin's place or everyone'll think I've gotten kidnapped or something." I said and laughed lightly. Samantha however did not laugh.

"Yeah…. About that… I need to tell you something." She said. I looked at her.

"What is it?" I asked.

"I spoke with my dad and we went to king Nyarus. Don't ask who he is. You just need to know that his words are law. I tried to explain everything to him and I think he was starting to believe you to be innocent." I nodded.

"That's good, right?"

"It was until general Oyen insisted that you were lying. The king trusts Oyen completely and I'm sorry to say that there's nothing I can do." She finished and began to eat.

"So I'm still targeted by the snake-men?"

"Afraid so."

Kevin's p.o.v.

Finally she left. I had been surprised when Samantha had showed up together with Ben. Apparently she had offered to help him with biology since Ben had a test soon. What was with teachers? Giving them tests a few days before summer break? Nevermind that. I was finally alone with Ben again. I looked towards the table. Ben wasn't there. Maybe he was in the bedroom? I walked over to the bedroom.

"Ben?"

"Yeah?" Ben answered in a tired voice. He was lying on the bed. I smiled lightly.

"Are you tired? I asked him. He nodded lightly and closed his eyes. I took the chance and straddled him. He instantly opened his eyes.

"Huh? Kevin…?" He asked. I smiled lightly.

"Relax. I'm not going to do something weird to you." I said and kissed his forehead lightly.

"Mhm… okay…" He said and closed his eyes again.

Ben's p.o.v.

I felt completely relaxed even though Kevin was straddling me. I guess I was too tired to get embarrassed. First he just kissed my forehead, then my nose, my cheek and the corner of my mouth. So much teasing… Suddenly I felt his lips against mine. It felt nice… I slowly started to kiss back. I could feel Kevin caress my cheek and his fingers entangle themselves in my hair. I grabbed his shirt lightly, still not sure what I should do with my hands. Kevin's tongue pushed lightly against my lips and I parted them, letting his tongue gain entrance. His tongue met mine. I had plenty of time before I had to talk or look at him. I looked out of the window and saw the mailman walk past. Right. I could use some fresh air. My shirt smelled like Kevin… I quickly put on my shoes and left the house, waling over to the mail box. A letter, the newspaper and some bills. I looked at the letter. Who was it from? It wasn't mine to open anyway. I yawned lightly and decided to go back in. I could feel something hit me in the back of the head.

"Ow.." I turned around. A freaking kid was throwing stones at me. This one was very much aimed for my face. I quickly protected my face with my arm. The stone hit the omnitrix which made a weird sound. The kid laughed and ran away. I glared after it and looked down at the omnitrix. What was the sound all about? There seemed to be nothing wrong with it. I shrugged lightly and went inside again, putting the letter, the newspaper and the bills on the kitchen table.

Kevin's p.o.v.

I woke up with a smile on my lips, pictures of last night flowing through my mind. I'd never forget Ben's face when he climaxed. I sighed lightly and slowly got out of bed. I found Ben in the living room, watching whatever on TV.

"Good morning." I said with a smile.

"G-good morning…" Ben said without looking at me. How cute. He was all embarrassed. I hugged him from behind and kissed his cheek.

"You don't have to be embarrassed Ben. I'll probably do it again." I said. Ben's cheeks turned a crimson red colour. I walked around him and kissed him lightly.

"I love you Ben." I said, sitting down beside him with a smile.
