Chapter Nine– Hope's Date
Ron wakes up a couple days later at five thirty in the morning on the first day of the weekend. Ron gets out of bed and starts his morning exercises, stretches and meditation for the next hour before he spends the nest twenty minutes in the shower when he thinks of a badical idea for his date with Hope today.
'I got it; I'll take Hope to the amusement park or something like that.' Ron thinks as he washes the shampoo out of his hair before he starts to blush. 'Maybe I shouldn't think about Hope or any of the other girls while I'm in the shower.' Ron thinks as he makes sure he had rinse off all of the shampoo from his hair.
After the shower, Ron gets dressed as he heads for the kitchen, where Tara, Bonnie, Kim, Yori, Zita, and Hope are present "Hey ladies, how's it going?" He greets them.
"It's Saturday, so that means weekend off from school." Kim comments as she makes herself some waffles.
Ron was about to respond when a knock and a Hispanic girl came through the front door.
"Hey guys; hope you don't mind me dropping by, but Hope wanted me to drop off her lucky lipstick and thong." Chrystal states as she holds up the blue thong with Hope embroider on them in white.
"Chrystal!" Hope yells in embarrassment which causes the Hispanic girl to turn and see a blond boy in the kitchen.
"Okay, what's Ron Stoppable doing here?" Crystal inquires.
"He lives here." Bonnie replies dryly, as Crystal became stunned.
"But, I didn't know there were any co-ed dorms?" Crystal asks in shock as her gaze lingers on the blushing blond boy. "Why are you blushing?" Crystal asks Ron.
Ron only point to Crystal's hand which causes Hope to lose it.
"Crystal for the love of god! Put the thong away!" Hope yells which causes Crystal to blush in embarrassment as she shoves the thong into her pocket.
"Oh, sorry." Crystal replies as she throws the thong towards her, but it ended up on Ron's face.
"GYAHH!" Hope screams as she takes the thong off of Ron's face "Crystal, please watch where you throw; there's a boy present!" She exclaims as Crystal just look dumbfound.
"Silly me." Crystal said as she bonks her own head as she sticks her tongue up.
"QUIT ACTING LIKE YOU'RE SOME ANIME CHARACTER!" Hope scolds her friend.
"Well, gotta go, and Marcella said hi!" Crystal said as she leaves the dorm, as Hope just looks frustrated.
"She seems to be energetic." Ron states as Rufus nods.
"That's my best friend for you." Hope mutters as she stands to leave for her room.
"Sooo." Bonnie starts which catches everybody's attention. "A lucky thong?" Bonnie comments before she starts snickering as the beyond flustered Hope runs out of the room telling Bonnie to go screw herself.
"Bon Bon that wasn't very nice." Ron scolds as he makes his disappointment known to the tanned girl.
"I don't care. She brought this upon herself when she decided to wear a lucky thong, and furthermore more when she had Crystal deliver it." Bonnie argues as she turns her head up. 'What was Hope planning to do with Stoppable?'
"I don't know why girls would need some form of a good luck charm." Ron shrugs "Does she have a test to pass next week?"
'Oblivious.' The girls all thought as they felt like face palming Ron's clueless trait.
A few minutes later Hope walks right back out, in different clothes than the clothes she had on before. Hope walks out with a black skirt that stops just three inches above her knee, white socks that reaches below her knee, black shoes, and a black Spiderman shirt.
"Wow, hey I didn't know you liked Spiderman." Ron comments in awe and then surprise.
"Yeah I just love the Spiderman movies. Toby McGuire is the greatest Spiderman ever." Hope responds as she blushes under Ron's gaze.
Upon hearing Hope's words, Ron has to stop himself from face palming.
"Y-Y-Yeah he sure wa...no I cannot say it. I'm sorry, but have you ever read a comic before?" Ron asks in an urgent voice.
"Um...no." Hope answers in confusion.
"Have you ever seen the new Spiderman movie?" Ron asks again.
"No." Hope answers before she as immediately cut off by Ron grabbing her hand and gently pulling her along.
"Come on. I know what we can do after the carnival." Ron comments as he smiles at Hope and Hopes smiles in return, but blushes when Ron looks away.
'What did Ron mean of what we can do after the carnival?' Hope though as she jumps to a conclusion 'Oh my god, he wants to take me somewhere private! But it's my first date with him.' She thought as she blushes harder.
"Hope, are you alright?" Ron asks her as they're already on their bike.
"Um, yes." She replies. 'Just go with the flow Hope.'
/
Ron and Hope arrive at the carnival to see it mostly empty; which is a strange thing, especially for a carnival in Middleton, Colorado.
"Where is everybody?" Hope asks Ron as she starts to feel anxious on her very first date.
"I rented the carnival for the night." Ron answers as a mischievous glint appears in his eye. "We got all the rides, food, drinks, and games to ourselves."
"Wow, that's sweet of you, Ron." Hope compliments as she thought 'A carnival just the two of us? It's a good thing I got my lucky thong with me.'
"Thanks." Ron quips. "So, where to Madame Monssielle?"
Hope giggles as she put her finger to her chin and thinks for a minute.
"I know. Let's go to the tea cups, those have always been my favorite." Hope states as she eagerly grabs Ron's hand and practically drags him to the tea cups. Hope lightly pushes Ron in and seats in across from the door. "You sit here, and I'll sit here." Hope takes her seat right next to Ron and puts his around her waist.
"Aren't we too close for the tea cups?" Ron questions the dark hair girl.
"Nope, you'll just have to pull me closer so your arm that is around my waist reaches the middle circle wheel." Hope explains before Ron does that and makes her squeal.
The tea cups starts spinning as Ron hangs onto Hope as she spins the wheel of the tea cup they're in as they spin faster. Ron was glad that he didn't eat before the ride.
Hope giggled as she feels Ron holding onto her as she blushes 'He's been holding onto me like he doesn't want to let go of me in fear that I might fallout. What a sweet guy.' she thought, unaware that Ron's hanging onto her due to him being terrified of the ride.
'Fuck, I hate these types of rides. Monkey Fist I can handle, evil spirits I can handle, but these tea cups are killing me.' Ron frantically thinks as the ride finally starts to slow down after three minutes of Ron hyperventilating.
"Whoa! Wasn't that fun Ronnie?" Hope asks as she smiles up at her date.
Ron just breathes in and out, in and out for a few seconds before he regains his composure and smiles down at Hope.
"You know it Hope." Ron answers as he hopes that Hope doesn't catch his shaky smile, and she doesn't because she is too busy looking into his eyes.
"What next? It's your turn to pick." Hope comments as her breath deepens.
Ron's breath quickens as they start to lean closer to each other. "Maybe we can try a game, and I can win you a badical prize." Ron responds as their lips close in on each other, but one of the workers taps his hand on the cup, cutting the two students from their zone.
/
Ron and Hope went to play some games, as they spotted a game where you throw a baseball to knock out some bottles to win the prize. Ron place some money to play the game "Gonna win the prize for the little lady here." Ron states "Now what would you like, Hope?"
"I would like the green monkey." Hope answers as she blushes remembering the tattoo on Ron's back.
"One green monkey coming up." Ron repeats before he catches what she was wanting and he chokes and the ball hits the man running the game.
"Ouch! Watch where you're throwing that ball kid; you've got one hell of an arm on you." Game Manager yells in pain before he moves out of the way of any future stray balls.
"Hehe sorry about that sir." Ron meekly apologizes before he readies himself to hit the bottles this time and not miss anymore. 'Come on Ronald! You can do this.'
Ron focuses on the stack of bottles as he eyes on the prize. He focuses on the energy of the ball as he held it back and throws it towards the bottles as they get knocked over.
"Wow, that's some throw, kid." the Game Manager comments "You must've been a great pitcher at your school."
"Actually I don't do sports. I'm more of a cooker than I jock." Ron replies as he blushes slightly at the praise.
"Then you should. If you were to join a team then we could all root for you, which are what cheerleaders do." Hope comments as she hugs Ron's arm.
"You should listen to your girl there kid, she sounds like a smart one." The Game Manager adds as he hands Ron the green monkey which ironically has a pair of nun-chucks in its hands.
"Thanks Ronnie." Hope says as she grabs the stuffed animal.
"You're welcome, but if you don't mind me asking, why did you want a green monkey?" Ron inquires as he suspects that he already knows the answer.
Hope chuckles nervously as she smiles at Ron. "When we first followed you and Yori to your secret base we saw your green monkey tattoo on your back." Hope honestly answers in hopes that Ron won't be angry, but she was shocked and confused when Ron started to laugh.
"That? That's not a tattoo." Ron replies as they walk to more private area. "That's not a tattoo it's...well it's...certainly not a tattoo. I'm Jewish and I will never allow a needle to mark my flesh." Ron explains as he pulls off his shirt and turns around to reveal his tattoo, that's not a tattoo.
"Then, what is it?" Hope inquires as she blushes when she saw Ron's back 'Oh my god, he's showing me a part of his body!' She thought, though she's only seeing the back part of Ron.
"Do you really wanna know?" Ron asks as he turns around giving Hope a good view of his chest and abs.
'Oh... My... God,' Hope thought as she resists the urge to touch Ron's six pack. "Y-Yes. I do." Hope blushes more when she realizes what she just said.
"Magic." Ron answers as he allows a goofy smile to appear on his face.
Hope looks dumbfounded as she only spoke "What?"
"I got this from some mystical magic stuff that causes these markings go permanent." Ron told her, hoping she will buy it.
Hope suddenly starts to laugh uncontrollably. "Ron...Ronnie that's just priceless. It's alright if you don't want to tell me."
Ron looks on as if Hope was crazy. "Do you remember those monsters that attacked the school?" Ron asks the still laughing girl. Now he is getting angry.
"Sure, why?" Hope inquires.
"Same type of magic." Ron replies as Hope stop laughing and grow more somber.
"Sorry Ron, I didn't mean to seem like I'm making fun of you." Hope reassures as she pants for breath "So to make it up to you, what were you going to show me after the carnival?"
Ron smiles excitingly as he held onto Hope's hand "Something way cooler and amazing!"
'Amazing?' Hope thinks as she blushes.
/
This was not what Hope was expecting when Ron told her to sit on his bed. She thought that they were going to round some bases, but Hope was happy for that because she didn't feel ready for sec or anything that serious just yet.
"So what are we doing?" Hope inquires as she gets comfortable on Ron's bed.
"We are going to watch the Amazing Spiderman." Ron answers as he starts to feel giddy.
Hope blink twice as she said "What? But I've already seen the Spiderman movies."
"But not the newly rebooted Amazing Spiderman movies." Ron told her as he set his portable DVD player as he plays the movie "This will top everything from the original."
"I'll be the judge of that." Hope replies as she makes herself comfortable on Ron's bed.
Ron gets on the bed to the right of the TV so his larger body type doesn't block Hope's view of his TV, but being in that position have Hope an idea and she leans back to rest her head on Ron's chest as they watch the opening scene with Peter Parker as a child in his father's ransacked office.
"Interesting choice for an opening scene." Hope comments as Ron reaches his arms around her body, which makes her sigh in contentment.
"And it only gets better." Ron comments as he is so close to Hope that he can smell her shampoo. 'Hmm coconut.'

Meanwhile, Yori was pondering in her room, thinking about what Mrs. Shego has told her and Ron. She pulls something out of her drawer as she held onto a cracked jaded necklace; the same necklace that was given to the woman who helped trained her.
'Mrs. Shego knew about me when I was a child; why didn't sensei ever told me that she's here?' she thought to herself as she looks at the necklace.
'For I wanted you to discover things on your own, my child.' Sensei voice rings out through her head. 'I knew that given some kind of help that you would remember the woman who raises you for three years before she left the school.'
'Ms. Shego raised me?' Yori asks in surprise that her favorite teacher raised her. 'But I don't understand. Why didn't she ever say anything?'
'Perhaps she felt guilty about leaving.' Sensei responds to Yori's open question.
'She thought I would hold a grudge against her for leaving?' Yori thought as Sensei nodded 'But I would never hold a grudge against her.'
'What are you going to do, my child?' Sensei inquires.
Yori looked at the necklace as she replies 'I want to talk to her.'
I got this awesome idea for Yori and Shego.

Later on that night the girls are sitting around the front room when it dawns on them that Hope and Ron are nowhere to be found, Zita was also gone, but they knew that she was with Felix.
"Where are Ron and Hope?" Kim asks Tara, Bonnie and Yori as they all just shrug their shoulders.
"They were supposed to be at the carnival; maybe I'll try calling them." Tara replies as she dials Ron's number as they can here the ringtone version of "Revolution" by the Beatles coming from Ron's room.
"Sounds like its coming from Ron's room." Kim deducted.
"Don't tell me the loser left the phone in his room." Bonnie scoffs.
"Maybe we should go get it." Tara suggest as she and Yori walk off with Kim and Bonnie following. Bonnie saying that they should just let Ron's phone die and Kim stating that they should respect Ron's privacy.
When Tara and Yori reach they door, Tara opens it and they both freeze at the sight of Ron holding Hope and Hope who have rolled over in her sleep had her face buried into the blonds' chest.
"What are you two looking at!?" Demands Bonnie as she and Kim push pass, only to freeze up like Tara and Yori.
Bonnie's face is now as red as a tomato, as she marches forward to wake the two up, by bonking them on the head, waking them up to wince their sore head, but froze when they see the pure wrath of Bonnie Rockwaller.
"What the hell are you two doing in the middle of the evening?!" Bonnie demands as she glares at the two, mostly Ron "5 seconds, Stoppable!"
"Me and Hope got home and watched Amazing Spiderman together and we ended up feeling sleepy!" he replied in a rapid tone, as he grew nervous.
"We didn't do anything but dozed off while watching the movie, Bonnie." Hope exclaims in fear.
"Oh like I beli-" Bonnie responds before Hope cuts her off.
"Know what I was having the best sleep of my life so either join us or piss off!" Hope yells in anger before she cuddles up with Ron again. "Goodnight girls. Goodnight Ron."
Ron just lays there with a girls snuggling up to his side as she starts to fall asleep. Ron looks up at the girls before he admits defeat. "I got to agree with Hope, ladies. I'm going back to bed."
"Then I will join you as well." Yori states as she gets to the other side of the bed next to Ron, much to the girl's shock "Goodnight, Ron-Kun." she said as she falls asleep and snuggle onto Ron's chest.
"Goodnight Yori." Ron mutters as he wraps both of his arms around Yori and Hope.
"What the hell is going on?" Kim asks Tara who have a complex expression on her face.
Bonnie looks and gaps in shock. "Tara you aren't really thinking about joining them are you!?" Bonnie demands in surprise, and outrage. "Thank about your reputation!"
"But Bonnie, its Ron and I've liked him since middle school." Tara replies as she subconsciously licks her lips. "One night wouldn't really hurt, would it? No it won't."
"Christ." Bonnie whispers in rage.
"W-Wow." Kim whispers in shock of everything. 'Ron has really grown up. At least I know what to talk about with him tomorrow.'
