A/N: I dislike leaving notes right before the story itself, but I do want to inform you guys what I have planned for this story. Truthfully, xxxHolic and Tsubasa Chronicles are not the only crossovers happening in this story. Expect characters from different animes that I have been emotionally attached to, which is the main reason why I created this story in the first place. It would be awesome if you guys can guess who are the other characters and which anime they come from. I'm thinking of adding more as (real) time passes / story progresses. Fun fact question: Who do you think was the guy who appeared on chapter 4 that stopped Shaoran's group? The title of the chapter was actually a clue to most of the characters that mentioned there.

I apologize for the crappy chapter, this is just a filler because I can't find any inspirations to write this. T_T

...

Watanuki slowly opened his eyes and the sun's rays welcomed his sight. He rubbed his eyes and blinked momentarily, observing his surroundings.

'Right.' He thought. He forgot that he was in another dimension.

He got up and fixed his bed and changed out of his sleep wear. He glanced to his left where Doumeki and the two mokonas were sleeping. A small smile appeared on his face before leaving the room.

'Now then,' Watanuki walked through the empty hallway, 'Where can I find her majesty?'

Watanuki reached the living room where they met the Queen and her aid the moment they arrived here. His stare fixated at the regal chair where she once sat, trying to picture her again sitting there.

As hard as it was for him to admit, the Queen was oddly familiar, with similarities with Yuko, and he was rather uncomfortable about it. He missed Yuko dearly, decades passed and despite his beliefs, he knew from the deepest part of his heart that she won't ever come back.

'But will I meet her here..?' He thought. It was possible, but he can not let himself hope yet. He still needs answers from the Queen, which is quite difficult to acquire when she hasn't been in the house for weeks now. The last time he has seen her was when he and Shaoran found her in the forest.

Watanuki took his glasses and wiped them with his sleeve, and wore them again as he exited the house through its front doors. Fye, Yuui's twin brother, was tending the garden regularly despite the fact that no one else has seen the beauty of the different variety of flowers. Watanuki stepped outside, the sun barely rising in the sky. It was too early, and yet the flowers danced and bloomed magnificently. In the middle, was a beautiful tall fountain, waters sparkling as it continues to flow.

He bent down to touch a deep red flower, it's petals with fresh morning dew. He was about to smell it when he opened his eyes and was surprised to see a shadow behind the fountain.

'I didn't even sense...' Watanuki trailed off in his mind. He walked towards the figure, as quietly as possible.

"Ohayogozaimasu." It spoke.

Watanuki flinched, 'I got scared instead, sheesh.'

"O-ohayogozaimasu," Watanuki replied.

He moved closer and found that it was actually the Queen herself, sitting on the edge of the fountain. This time she was wearing a different kimono with different patterns and designs, yet the color was the same: a deep vibrant red color.

"It's still so early, your Majesty." Watanuki spoke since the Queen does not seem to want to start the conversation. The Queen remained quiet, her gaze directed towards the horizon.

Watanuki felt awkward. It has been ages since he last stepped out of Yuko's house, and ages since he spoke to someone else except his customers and his friends.

Unknowingly, the Queen looked at Watanuki at the tail of her sharp eye, "I can erase some of your doubts."

Watanuki's ears perked up. He knew what she meant, she knew he wanted answers.

"Who are you?"

"An exiled queen."

Watanuki had his face contorted with confusion. 'More questions, less answers, more like.'

When it looked like she doesn't plan on speaking further, he asked, "How can a queen be exiled?"

Instead of answering him, she spoke, "I'm a dark goddess. A deity if you will. I govern the balance of evil and handle the dark class of this world. I preside over souls and give them judgement. I watch and maintain the balance of each and every dimensions and worlds in the universe."

It was a bit difficult to wrap his mind around it, but he could at least grasp at the meaning of it. "So, your Majesty, have you found out the reason why we are here?"

"You can drop the formalities, Kimihiro."

"Ah, of course." 'She knows my name..?'

"I still don't know yet the reason why you and your friends have been transported here. Perhaps it may be due to the distortions happening at every dimensions. Someone's trampling the balance."

"Distortions..?"

"Worlds are connected one way or another, but cannot be linked together for more than necessary. Someone has been trying to connect every dimension to one another as if to create something else."

"What do you mean?"

She looked at the sky as the sun is beginning to rise. "It means that worlds should never have any connection to another permanently. One can transport yes, but never create a permanent portal between any worlds. It would cause chaos and the balance would shift."

"How so?"

"Think of it this way," her smooth velvety voice had a hint of sadness, "Every book has different stories. And these stories can not be linked together because they are from two different books. If two books or more can merge as one, how do you think will the stories go? Will the stories be the same? Will it mix and have a different story? What would happen to the different endings the stories have?"

Watanuki was beginning to understand. "These portals you say are these distortions that are appearing in the other dimensions?"

"Yes."

"So presumably, there's one in my world, and one with the others."

"Yes."

"Who would create the distortions though? What's their purpose?" For some reason it didn't make sense to him.

"I have a feeling I know who it is, but I cannot confirm my suspicions yet. The way I am now I cannot move freely within this world."

"Why? Because you're exiled?"

"I think that's enough for today, Kimihiro." She gently dismissed the question.

"Right.." Watanuki mumbled. "One more thing though," he added.

"Yes?"

"What's your name?"

As the sun rises through the morning sky, she finally looked at him.

"Monina." Her dull red eyes seemed to become lively suddenly, the sides of her mouth lifting slighty to a small smile.

"It's Monina, Kimihiro Watanuki."

...

More questions formed inside Watanuki's head, and he tried to figure Monina out. She dismissed him entirely after that. He kept asking her questions but she never talked, simply looked up at the sky watching birds fly by. Seems like it's not yet a good time to know everything, he suppose.

"I told you to not bother her Majesty."

Watanuki looked at the person in front of him as he closed the front door behind him. It was the same man who stopped them from asking the Queen questions. Black hair, sharp purple eyes. He wore a different clothing now, a black uniform resembling to that of the soldiers he once met along with Shaoran.

"I didn't mean to inconvenience her." Watanuki politely replied.

"Her majesty has a lot on her plate right now. She doesn't need to add you guys on her plate." He narrowed his eyes at Watanuki.

"Now now settle down prince," a man with brown wavy hair appeared and gave Watanuki a warm smile. "Breakfast is ready in the dining room, I'm sure you are hungry."

"Oh, alright. Thank you." Watanuki smiled back at the brown-haired guy.

"Pssh no need to thank me. I didn't prepare the food." He turned towards the other guy. "And you prince, go and wake the others up. Food is ready. Be useful sometimes."

The purple-eyed man squinted his eyes at the other. "Stop calling me that. And don't order me around like I'm your slave." He spat out angrily.

"Just go do it, wouldn't want to report to her Majesty your stubborness now." brown-haired guy smirked knowingly.

The hot headed man turned and stomped angrily to the direction of the bedrooms, mumbling incoherent string of curses.

"Don't mind him, he's a little you know, ill-mannered." The brown stranger laughed as he spoke to Watanuki.

"I heard that!"
