While Singapore hosts the world conference, Japan and England are haunted by the ghosts of the Battle for Singapore. Together they confront the first and last time they faced each other in battle, their own history and try to determine the meaning of guilt and forgiveness. (On Hiatus)

3. On Hiatus

I would like to apologize to my readers but 'From the Rubble' will be on a temporary hiatus. The fic would have featured Singapore's POV and touched on her relationships and thoughts on the eve of her 50th birthday.

Today in real life, the nation of Singapore said goodbye to its founding father Mr Lee Kuan Yew. Out of respect to the country, its citizens and his memory, this fic is on hiatus until an acceptable time.

When I do continue this fic, I will likely also have changed from my original plans for it. Thanks for the support and my thoughts are with Singapore today.
