Percy was leaning against a tree next to Thalia, and they were comletely bored out of their minds. After Artemis and Percy came back, the goddess explained how everything was going to go down. Apparently she had to hunt a monster down alone, and the hunters would be accompanying the others to camp. There was a few protests, but Artemis shut them down real quick. Orion and Annabeth sat by themselves next to a fire they built, and would not stop making out. Were they even breathing? After a few more minutes, Percy was about to lose his cool and jump off the cliff again, Artemis walked over.
"Apollo will be here soon. I would advise that you do not look until he lands."
"Don't worry about me." Percy simply said.
Artemis shrugged and stood there, arms folded. They sat in silence until she sighed.
"My brother is so lazy in the winter."
At this, Percy walked up to the edge of the cliff and raised his fist.
"Aye lightbulb, get your ass down here. It's too cold for you to be fucking around."
Everyone looked at Percy like he was crazy, but their jaw dropped when a few second later, the sun began to rise.
"How did you do that?" Asked the goddess.
Percy shrugged and a small smile appeared on his lips. On the horizon, a small flare popped up and began to get closer.
"Cover your eyes until he lands!" Yelled Artemis.
When the light got too close for comfort, everyone closed their eyes, except for Percy. He couldn't be blinded, so he watched as the sun chariot land. When the light died, sitting there was a convertible Maserati Spyder, and stepping from it was none other than the sun god himself.
"Hey there little sis." He said.
Artemis growled and pointed a finger at him.
"I'm am older than you!" She yelled
Apollo simply laughed and turned to Percy.
"Aye Percy! I'm so glad my dad didn't turn you into dust. That would have been bad for you little brother."
Percy shrugged.
"Yeah I guess."
Apollo just continued smiling as he snapped his fingers. The car then changed from the Spyder to a regular yellow bus that you would see kids in school take.
"So, who wants to drive?"
"Wait." Said Percy. All eyes turned to him.
"Song, would you come here. There is someone I want you to meet."
Song slowly walked over to Percy with a confused face. What Percy did next surprised everyone, again. He grabbed Apollo and forced him into his knees so he was the same height as Song.
"Apollo, meet your daughter Song. Song meet your daddy." Everyone's eyes widened and Apollos mouth hung open.
"D-daughter?" He said in a very horse voice.
Song looked at the sun god with tears in her eyes. She reared back her right hand, and slapped him across the face.
"You are no father of mine." She said with malice in her voice. "Where were you when mommy died? Where were you when I was being beaten by my uncle? Where were you when Lady Artemis saved me from certain death?"
Apollo opened and closed his mouth like a fish.
"I-I'm so-"
He was cut off by Song raising her hand.
"I don't want your apologies. Just take me to camp, and I don't want to see you after that."
Apollo seemed broken, but he nodded anyway.
"Uh, let's... Lets load up." He said.
Song was the first one on the bus, followed by the rest of the hunters and the three demigods and goat from camp.
"That was the right thing to do." Said Artemis from beside Percy.
The demigod just shrugged.
"It just didn't seem right to have her father right there and not know it."
Artemis nodded before turning.
"I will see you soon Perseus." Was all the goddess said before running off into the forest.
Percy shoulder his stuff and climbed on the bus."
"Hey Percy, you want to drive?" Asked Apollo.
Percy shook his head sat in the front seat, away from everyone else.
"Okay... How about you Thalia."
Thalia paled, but nodded anyways. She climbed into the drivers seat and started the bus. Her grip on the wheel was so tight, her knuckles turned white. Percy stood and leaned against the seat.
"You okay Thalia?" He asked.
She nodded, but said nothing. Slowly she put her foot on the gas and the bus started to rise.
"Okay, now add a little more gas and we'll be off." Said Apollo.
Nobody was ready when Thalia slammed her foot down and the bus took off into the sky. Percy had a death grip on his seat, but a sudden jerk to the right caused him to lose his grip on the slick leather. He began tumbling to the back of the bus, before smashing through the back door and into open, fiery air. Everyone looked at the demolished door and Annabeth along with Thalia and Song began screaming. The hunters smirked and a grin threatened to break Orion's face. But when Apollo started laughing, everyone looked at the god in shock.
"What?" He asked.
"Your champion just got thrown out of a fiery, fast moving bus, and your laughing!" Asked a very mad Song.
"One, he's ammune to fire, so he can't burn. Second, he won't die because he can fly. He has wings."
Orion cursed under his breath and the hunters looked a little miffed. Annabeth, Song, and Thalia calmed down, well as calm as Thalia could get anyways. Everyone looked back to the broken door, as if expecting Percy to come back.
"So what do we do?" Asked Annabeth.
"He should be fine. He'll follow the bus to camp, so all we have to do is keep driving." Answered Apollo.
Everyone hurriedly put on their seatbelts as Thalia kept driving, or at least tried to.
:) ):
Percy was beyond pissed. He just got thrown out of the bus and was free falling in the air. He sighed and began removing his clothes and weapons and stuffing it into his book bag. He really needed to stop getting naked, it was embarrassing. He held his stuff in his right hand and concentrated. His black wing popped from his back and Percy pulled himself into a steep climb, pulling himself into the air. He then began following a smokey trail and fires that the bus left behind. He kicked it into overdrive seeing that the bus was moving crazy fast. He continued to fly, hoping it wasn't too far to camp.
:) ):
Thalia crashed the bus into the lake of Long Island Sound, scaring all the campers in Camp Half-Blood shitless. The hunters of Artemis along with the three demigods, a satyr, and a god stumbled out, looking rather sick. The campers crowded around, but some hung back in fear of being shot by one of the hunters. Chiron, the centaur, trotted over to Zoë, who was currently trying not to hurl.
"Uh, well this is a suprise. Why are the hunters of Artemis here exactly? And where is Artemis?"
Zoe held up a finger, signaling the centaur to hold on a second. She took a deep breath and straightened.
"Lady Artemis had a hunt that we could not participate in. We rode here with the four other demigods and the satyr."
Chiron looked confused.
"Um.. there's only three demigods. And those are the ones I sent." Chiron pointed out.
Apollo cleared his throat.
"You see what had happen was, he kind of fell out the bus while we were flying." He explained
Chiron along with the campers stared at Apolo like he had a boot up his ass.
"Aren't you concerned?" Asked a random camper.
"No, I am not. He should be fine. As a matter of fact, he should be he-"
Apollo was cut off when a large splash came from the lake. Everyone turned to see a scary sight. Standing there was Percy with no shirt and his wind out. He was breathing heavy and covered in sweat.
"Apollo..." He said menacingly.
"That's the forth demigod." Said Zoë to a shocked centaur.
Percy slowly climbed out of the water and unsheathed his large sword. Everyone parted and left Apollo in the open. Apollo took a step back as Percy got closer.
"Come on Percy, how was I supposed to know that you would fall out."
"That doesn't excuse the fact that you knew Thalia was freaking out about driving, and yet you let her drive anyway!" Screamed Percy.
"But did you die?!" Challenged Apollo.
Percy froze for a second, his eyebrow raised.
"Did you really just say that?" He asked.
Apollo cracked a small grin before he started laughing. Percy sat there with a straight face, but he no longer looked like he wanted to kill the sun god. Finally when Apollo stopped laughing Chiron cleared his throat.
"Apollo, would you mind introducing this young man?"
A smile threatended to split the gods' face.
"Everyone meet Percy. He is my champion along with Poseidon, Hades, and Hestia. He is hier to the sea and prince of hell hounds. Plus he's also the boyfriend of-"
But Percy cut him off by landing a solid punch to Apollo's stomach.
"Don't you have a sun to fly?" Asked Percy eyeing the god.
Apollo stumbled the the bus and turned it into a car with a snap of his fingers. He climbed in and rolled down the window.
"I'll see you later Perce." He said before pulling off.
From the crowd, a hand raised.
"Um, mind telling us why you have a pair of wings?" Asked the camper, staring at Percy with calculating grey eyes.
"I don't know, I woke up four years ago with them."
That got a lot of questions.
"How high can you fly?"
"Are you a fallen angle?"
"Why the heck are you shirtless?"
"Quiet!" Yelled Percy, effectively shutting everyone up. "Thank you. I will answer your questions later, but as of now I am tired and would like to sleep."
Chiron agreed to this and pointed to a cabin.
"The Hermes cabin is right there. That's were you will sleep until you are claimed."
Percy shook his head.
"I am hier to the seas, so my father is..." He said, rotating his hand for Chiron to finish.
"Your father is Poseidon?" Asked the shocked centaur.
Percy nodded his head.
"Adopted son of Poseidon, but still a son of Poseidon."
With that he turned to Zoë.
"Well goodnight princess, I shall see you in the morning. If you do not attempt to kill me in my sleep."
Zoë only glared at him, but Percy already turned and walked to the Poseidon cabin.
"He's a strange one." Murmured Chiron."There is much to be talked about, but that will be later. Campers you may return to sleep, while the hunters get themselves situated in Artemis's cabin."
The hunters quickly made their way to a silver cabin made for them and the campers happily went back to sleep.
Percy was sitting on his bed in the empty cabin of Poseidon. This place really needed a touch up, but that was okay, because he had the money to do just that.
Percy took out his giant sword and looked at it. He had yet to think of a name for it. Suddenly a name popped into his mind
'Tsunami'
Percy carefully put Tsunami back in its sheath and placed it next to his bed. He took one of his guns and put it under his pillow for protection. Rolling his back, Percy popped the bones in his back and shoulders. He then put the rest of his equipment into his bookbag and retracted his wings. Percy pulled the covers over him and was asleep before his head hit the pillow.
LINEBREAK
Percy's senses kicked in and he heard a small growl coming from the corner. Slowly wrapping his hand around his gun, Percy acted like he was still sleep.
"Well well, look what the cat drug in." Said a smug voice.
Percy jumped out of bed and pointed his gun in the direction of the voice; but faltered a bit when he saw it was a black and white dog with red eyes and the size of a full grown Doberman Pincher. The hellhound was thick and muscular, with shaggy black hair like Percy's.
"Sup Prince" said Oreo with a smirk.
Percy frowned.
"It's Percy, I don't like formalities."
The hellhound shrugged.
"Whatever you say Prince."
Signing Percy put his gun away.
"How did you get in here anyway."
"I go where my master goes. Even if they are in a place with protection, there is still shadows in here."
Percy climbed back into bed.
"Well if your going to stay here, don't break anything." He mumbled
"What are you doin Prince, it's morning and almost time for breakfast. There is someone currently coming our way."
Percy jumped out of bed and listened. Oreo was right, there was the sound of footsteps coming closer to his cabin. Percy grabbed his gun and walked behind the door and waited till the person knocked. When they did, Percy opened the door and pointe the gun out. Right into Thalia's face.
"Whoa! Watch where your pointing that thing!" She screamed.
"Sorry." Said Percy, putting the gun onto his bed. "Why are you here?"
"I came to wake you up. Breakfast is starting and you need to get washed and ready for the day."
"Why can't I just sit in my cabin and do nothing?"
"Because as a camper you need to train to fight monsters."
Percy just sat there and stared at Thalia like she was crazy.
"What? Is there something on my face?" She asked
"No, just go away so I can shower and get dressed. I'll see you in twenty minutes." Percy said.
Thalia nodded and walked away.
Twenty minutes later Percy was showered and dressed in a black t-shirt and black shorts with a pair of black Allstars. He had his sword and bookbag on his back, with his guns and throwing knives on his waist. Everything else was in his bookbag.
Another knock came to Percy's door. He opened it to see Thalia, and she waved for him to follow. They walked through the camp towards an open air pavilion, that suprisingling had no snow on it. They walked in and instantly everyone stopped eating and stared.
"Is there a problem?" Growled Percy.
Everyone paled and went back to eating. Thalia looked at Percy with respect and pointed to a table.
"That is the Poseidon table. You will sit there and eat all your meals. Just picture what you want and it will appear."
"Where will you sit?" Asked Percy
Thalia pointed to another table where only Orion was sitting. Percy's eyes widend.
"Your father is Zeus?"
Thalia nodded.
"And your brother is Orion?"
Again she nodded.
"Wow, a thick headed father and brother? You must be the only sane on."
Thalia laughed and thunder boomed across the sky.
"Let's try to keep the insults to a minimum. 'Kay?" She said, but she still had a smile on her face.
Percy nodded and walked over to the Poseidon table and sat down. He thought up some food. Blue pancakes, with blue eggs, and blue bacon. It appeared before him in a poof. Why waste energy when food can appear without using it his own powers. Percy was about to dig in when a knife slammed into the table.
"What's up jackass?"
