I had so many questions running through my head. Who were these people? Why was that monster here? How did these people find me? Where were we going? I finally asked a question, "Who are you and why are we running?"

" Look," said the girl with electric blue eyes and short black hair "you are a demigod, that means that one of you parents is a Greek God"

"What!" I yelled "Are you crazy? You're telling me that my dad is a Greek God!"

"Look, I know it may be startling, but next time could you not scream so loud" said Annabeth as she covered her ears as if waiting for the next scream.

"I'm sorry it's just that... well it seems crazy" I said.

"I know I know, but there are hundreds of kids just like you"

"Oh... before I forget we need to introduce ourselves," said the guy " my name is Percy Jackson, son of Poseiden."

"My name is Thalia Grace, daughter of Zeus"

"And my name is Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena."

"Nice to meet you all, my name is Peyton Janocha, daughter of I Don't Know" I said as I took a small joking bow.

"We better get going," said Thalia "before the other monsters find us."

"Let's go." said Annabeth, and with that we ran like our lives were on the line... because they were.

Percy's P.O.V.

As soon as I met Peyton I knew that she was going to be someone important in my life. I knew right away that it wasn't going to be romantic at all, because I loved Annabeth , but something about her made me excited to see what role she would play in my life. We stopped running right before we entered a big city with some sort of resort or casino as the first thing you see. "Why are we stopping?" I asked Annabeth. She mumbled something under her breath, but from the look on her face she looked like she had been put under a spell."Annabeth" i said again. Still no answer. at this point I was getting nervous so I finally looked up to see what had put her in some sort of trance and I saw the brightest, flashiest building I had ever seen.

While Annabeth and I stood there for Zeus knows how long Peyton suddenly cleared her throat and said" Guys I know it's mesmerizing, but we have to get going."

"Sorry , but I think we should check in it and see what is going on in there it sounds like fun." I said.

"Yeah let's go" said Annabeth. With that we walked in.

Peyton's P.O.V.

I knew the building looked familiar, but when I walked in I soon forgot everything. When I heard the music all I wanted to do was stay there forever. I was playing PacMan and I knew I would have to stop some time, but the staff and people reassured me that I could stay for as long as I would like.

When I was about to sit down and start a new game I heard a voice in my head. Don't stay where you are leave this place and never return. said the voice. I thought it was a trap from a monster, but somehow I knew it was my dad.

I went up to go get Percy, Annabeth, and Thalia. when I found them I told them it was time to leave. "Pleeeeeaaaaassssseeee" whimpered Annabeth "can we stay a little bit longer."

"No," I said"we have to leave"

"Why" asked Thalia

"Because we are at the Lotus Casino"
