Peyton's P.O.V.
It took a little while, but I finally got them to get out of this horrid place. Even after we got out Percy and Thalia were still a little dazed, but eventually, after 30 minutes, I got them to snap out of it. When they finally awoke from their trance Percy and Thalia couldn't believe that they had been so easily trapped. "We were in there for how long?!" screamed Thalia.
"I don't know it felt like only a couple of minutes." I said.
"Time always runs fast in the Lotus Casino," said Annabeth " So for all we know it could've been days."
"Look!" said Thalia, as she pointed to a billboard with the time and date.
"Oh my gods" said Percy "We've been here for three days"
Thalia gasped "What about camp they might be in trouble... or what if they think we're dead?"
" Let me go send an Iris Message to let them know that we're okay" said Percy
As we sat there Annabeth and Thalia told me all about camp, and how it would be so fun to train, make friends, and hangout with awesome people. I couldn't wait to get there. Finally Percy came over and told us "I called and they said they were sending over our transportation." As soon as he said that a flock of what looked like like big birds came out of the sky. I was so shocked "Are those Pegasi!" I exclaimed.
"yeah" said Thalia "aren't they so cool "
"what up Black Jack" said Percy
The horse nickered at him as if saying some sort of response.
"Alright, alright, we'll stop on the way" said Percy "We need to stop and get Black Jack some donuts on the way"
And with we rode and I have to say riding on a Pegasus was the coolest thing I've ever done.
"So..." I said " Where exactly are we going"
"To the greatest state of all," Percy said " New York"
Annabeth's P.O.V.
When we got their the look on Peyton's face was priceless. She was so stunned, but that could've been because we landed right in front of the Golden Fleece guarded by a dragon.
"Oh my Gosh" said Peyton "this place looks amazing. And kinda scary."
We first took her to meet Chiron and to let him explain exactly where she was at and what she was.
When I first met Peyton I could tell she was unlike any other demigod I had met before. I really hope we can be great friends.
Peyton's P.O.V.
After I got done talking to Chiron I spent the entire day with Thalia. She showed me around camp and she let me pick what weapon I wanted. When we got to the shed I thought it was a gardening shed. Boy was I wrong.
It had weapons that were both new and old. I looked around and I found one that looked like a pencil, but when i asked Thalia she told me that when ever I broke the lead on it, it open up into a sword and whenever I took the cap of the butt of the sword it would turn back into a pencil. She also told me it would return to my pocket no matter what happened to it.
As we were walking back to camp so that she could show me to my new cabin, she suddenly stopped. She walked very carefully until we saw the horrible beast. It was a Hell hound. She told me to stay put, but I knew I wouldn't be able to. She sneaked behind the monster to stab it and get out of here, but the Hell hound sensed her and stopped the attack. He picked her up and was about to throw her across the forest. until I screamed my head off to get its attention. It perked its head up and looked at me, I was terrified, but I swallowed my fear and charged at the beast.
