So hello it's nearly been a year.. i know i suck.. but here it is.. i do have four chapters typed total I may be updating more often.. but I don't know my classes and schedule are a little more than hectic.. Warnings: Count and some blood.
He finished up eating and rose, I looked to him, "I'm fine," he waved me off, "I think I'm going to wash up,"
"Um , I think I should call Watari and see if you're alright enough to…" I started.
He shot me down, "Don't treat me like a kid, it was just a moment of weakness nothing more, now get over it I can take care of myself." He stormed off and I bit back a comeback.
I picked up the phone and called Watari, a few minutes later he entered the room.
"Where is he?" Watari asked.
"Either he's in the bedroom or the bathroom," I said leading him to each, but he was nowhere to be found.
"I'll search in the rest of the place," Watari said quickly now worried.
I headed back to the bedroom; I searched around again and turned to the closet remembering that we hadn't checked it. I opened it finding Hisoka freshly showered, his wounds had opened and blood was beginning to soak the floor. Picking him up I tried not to breath in the now somehow sweet smell… I have to be careful, my demon is still unpredictable and I don't have complete control over it.
Watari came into the living room finding me holding him, "Hurry, set him down, but gently, I have to check his wounds," he set to working on Hisoka pushing away the bloodied shirt.
When he finished I asked, "Did you find anymore about it?"
He shook his head, "Just the same thing over and over,"
I was right he did warn me about it, but what was the cure again, "Do you think you could take care of Hisoka?"
Again he shook his head grumbling angrily, "I wish I could, but I have to clean my lab, and no one is in for doctor duty."
"No problem, just go get your stuff done, I can't leave him with Tatsumi and each of the other shinigami have their own problems… I think Wakaba is scared of me now… Just the last resort." Watari left me to think it over.
Heading out I locked the door, carrying Hisoka gently in my arms, he stirred a couple of times murmuring some gibberish.
Cherry blossom petals littered the ground, a castle stood before me, I hesitantly pulled back the knocker.
Watson opened the door motioning me in, "The Count will be pleased," he closed the door behind us and led me into the dining hall.
One moment the Count was sitting the next he was gently touching the side of my face and he probably would have hugged me if it wasn't for Hisoka… I'll have to thank him for that later.
"My dear little Tsuzuki! How good it is to finally see you again," he greeted.
"You as well, thank you for the advice earlier, something has happened again and I was wondering if you would take care of Hisoka,"
"Of course, what has happened?" he asked.
"I was taking care of some demons, and one of them attacked Hisoka who showed up desperately needing to tell me something."
"I know what he has to tell you, but it's for him to say…" he said softly.
I nodded slightly confused and followed him to one of the bedrooms setting Hisoka down, I turned back to him. "I'm probably going to be gone for a couple of days, so please take care of him and call me if anything happens."
I left and began to study the mental bond that I had made with the Lord of Hell, if he can communicate with me, would I be able to communicate with him?
Pain coursed through me and I realized I had been suppressing the bond, "Tsuzuki, come to my domain, I desire to speak with you personally."
I recovered myself quickly remembering how to get there, soon I appeared and demons were standing off the sides of the main road to the place. I quickly made my way to the main meeting room of this palace; I knocked waiting for a moment for a response before entering.
He was facing away in a different from what I normally saw him in. "Tsuzuki, I have a request that corresponds with saving your shinigami friend," he turned slightly his long dark hair stirring, "You remember what I told you about those demons, and the only cure is to get a part from another demon?"
"Yes, my lord" I responded softly.
"I, in fact need you to kill one of those particular demons that supply such the power needed to save your friend." He turned to face me.
I looked away fearing what I would see, "Can you please remind me where they are?" I asked humbly.
"Ask where your parasitic shikigami friend is, it is close to where he is investigating, it is actually the cause of his case, but he wouldn't be able to discover it."
I touched my chest just over my heart and kneeled down on one knee, "Yes, my lord, I shall take my leave."
"What," I paused, "I've known you for near a mere year, but I understand you have suffered for your demon blood and suffered at demon's vile nature, but what do you really think of this?"
"Of what, my lord?"
"Of working for a demon, who helped to ruin your life?"
I paused slightly a taken back, "I do not mind it so much anymore, once I had started I despised every demon, but I found if I didn't people would get harmed or killed and I still find that people around me get hurt more, not please excuse me, my lord." I said getting up and turning to the door grabbing the handle.
Tsuzuki…" I paused noting the change in his voice, an almost soft weakness. "Look at me,"
I turned slowly my hand leaving the door handle, my eyes widened, he stood holding himself proudly, long dark hair cascading over his shoulders. His skin and face betrayed no sign of age, the most shocking thing were his eyes, a gleaming sliver, which changed with each moment even to my exact purple.
"My lord, is there anything else?" I asked turning my shocked expressing away from him.
He took one stride and was in front of my, a hand hesitantly hovering just over my shoulder as if itching to touch it. "Tsuzuki, take great care when facing the demon, unlike its counterpart it harms only demons, even if those demons themselves are harmless."
"Yes, my lord. I'll be taking my leave now." I responded softly turning back to the door as he gave a slight motion excusing me.
"Tsuzuki…" he began, his hand touched my shoulder and pain pierced through my old wound and I grappled for the handle covering my mouth with my other hand. I opened the door and escaped his grip, using the wall as support I slowly made my way out. Pausing after I got out of the demon world before keeling over and coughing blood.
So the second chapter. review. or read or run.. what ever floats the ship.
