So i will note that this chapter is bothering me a bit.. maybe i will rewrite some of it later... there is an OC.. i apologize for that.. i hope she doesn't get on your nerves.. she's useful some aspects.. warnings: blood.. some bit of sexual behaviors.. truly nothing terrible.. mentions of sex changing potion

I whipped the blood off my face and appeared back in Enmacho luckily running into Tatsumi.

"Tatsumi," I called and he turned to me, "I was wondering where Terazuma and Wakaba are?"

"Hiroshima, there have been some murders where the victims have been found clawed to death," he explained.

"Thanks," I responded.

"Where's Hisoka?" He was supposed to come in today."

"He's feeling a little under the weather, he's staying with someone for the mean time," I explained taking another step away.

"What happened?" he asked. "Hisoka wouldn't miss something like this over a cold."

"I'll explain," I continued walking, "When he's not in such a state."

I ran into Watari, "How did the lab thing go?" I asked.

"Great, we'll be getting a little more funding, and I found that they had a sex changing recipe, I'll need to test it soon,"

"Okay, but not until after I get back, 'kay?" I promised and he nodded smiling.

I finally left the building and appeared in Hiroshima, I found them quickly hiding my presence, I followed them while they found yet another body.

It was as Tatsumi said, clawed to death, my blood pulsed, at least it was not a human. But I recognized the weak demon, a harmless and quite friendly demon, he was right it does attack any demon.

Darkness clouded the edges of my vision, my heart beat in my ears, my blood pounded, my wound pulsed unlike it ever had, a claw came into my darkening vision.

….

Water dripped somewhere, a drop touched my face, I opened my eyes finding myself shaded under a tree. Rain fell heavily outside the canopy; I sat up finding the demon sitting a few feet short of me.

It was a grayish silver color; the hide had a similar texture to hairless skin, but also appearing rough like sandpaper. The long trailing fingers held nastily sharp claws which were also long and thin, like those seen on a lizard or sloth. The barely distinguish able head turned showing silver pools which took an almost normal amount of the face, which held two small slits for the nose and an almost grotesque set of lips which held an arrangement of sharp teeth, making me wonder for a moment, why it didn't use its teeth to kill the recent victims.

"You are not a demon, though they call you one." It said in a barely audible voice, warped like expected, but with an accent heavily in something not human.

"I'm only partly; you are much the same, though only a little human." I responded as I lightly and cautiously used my spiritual senses.

"Yes… I heard of your friend, the young shinigami, who got attacked, I know what you want and you'll only get it if I am willing to part with it." It continued standing up and focusing me in its gaze.

"I'm still confused about this whole thing, but I want to save my friend, he's already experience many life and death experiences. I don't him to lose his life forever this time." I responded strongly narrowing my gaze on it.

It shifted form revealing a middle aged, long haired woman, "Didn't you realize that all of the victims were males? No women, no children?" she swayed towards me, cloak following her movements and keeping her dry from the rain.

"Why kill demons? Do you have a reason?" I asked softly rising cautiously.

She came closer. "Because most of their kind kills off the innocent, enjoying the taste of their blood as it eases their thirst, demons feast on the flesh of the helpless, no matter they will always have that bloodlust, unless," she put a hand on my chest pushing me into the roots of the tree coming again once more closer, her face inches from mine, "They are like you." She paused hovering there… keeping the distance short, but she made no move.

She stared down at my frame frowning a moment… "There's something strange in your aura." her hand began to unbutton my shirt somewhat cold fingers making the uncovered skin draw back quickly.

I began to try and move away from her light touch against the unprotected skin, but her legs pinned my hips, her mouth set in slightly annoyed frown.

A hand paused at my year old scar, "Look what you've done, must be very painful," she pressed lightly against it making me close my eyes against the pain.

I let out a small cry and choked it off biting my lip, I painfully opened my eyes, and she moved her hand past it.

"You're such a quiet, submissive young man, are you truly the Brigadier General?" she hummed her face inches from mine.

"I can't help it, I've always been a bit dumbstruck when it comes to these types of situations," I responded softly, judging how she would react by meeting her gaze.

"Is that so? Shall I make you scream?" she asked her nail-like claws poised over my skin.

My lips tightened, my wound pulsed angrily, a new flush covered my face I felt the blood building up. It trickled out of the corner of my mouth, I stared at her defiant.

"Your scar?" she asked lightly. "Looks fairly new, then again it looks as if you were stabbed with a high quality blade," she rubbed it again lightly.

My eyes became unfocused so I closed them, I stifled a cry, her hand touched my face.

She wiped away tears that I didn't realize sprang from my eyes, "Shall I take some of your pain?" she asked lightly her lips touching mine.

The pain eased and the blood stopped flowing, she eased away slightly to watch me carefully. "Do you want to save your friend, even for a cost?" she asked.

I opened my eyes and met her gaze, "Yes," I said firmly.

"You shall not use this power for anything but saving them, you will not give it to anyone else," she said pushing her hair away from her shoulders.

"Of course, only to help my friend, but what is it I am supposed to take?" I asked slightly concerned.

She pulled my hand up and placed it over her heart, "The fresh blood of my body, the easiest way is the heart."

I drew my hand back a serious look coming to my face, my hand dropped, "I won't, you spared me, compared to most, who would have taken the chance, isn't there another way?"

She nodded slowly frowning as she did so, "You can drink my blood, but the poison would kill you, it is the same as the anti-demon blades, it is what they use and kill my kind for."

"I'll take my chances, I've already survived a couple of anti-demon weapons," I responded giving a small smile.

She looked down hair shading her eyes, she looked up again tears gleaming in her eyes, and she tugged her cloak off and wiped the tears away quickly. "Alright, you fool," she pulled my head to her shoulder.

"Isn't there…?" I started, she pulled me towards her my teeth biting into her shoulder, her blood filled my mouth, I swallowed it bitterly as it filled my mouth.

She pushed me away and pulled cloak back on, her wound already closing, "You alright?" she asked steadying me.

"Will you stop killing innocent demons, the weak demons that don't cause any harm?" I asked pulling on my shirt then standing and wobbling over to my jacket.

She rose coming over, steadying me yet again, "Yes, I think I'll take up a place in Grand Duke's army, maybe I'll see you again."

Review if ya like.. or complain.. i don't mind.. she won't get in the way of later romance
