This is my contribution to the March stories from the heart prompt - Hope Valley Housing is the topic for this month, with bonus points for mentioning a birthday. As always, I struggled with the 2000-word limit but hope I am forgiven. A mining tragedy almost destroyed the town of Coal Valley and did tear some families apart. Ten years later the Town remembers those they lost.

Instead of a love triangle, we have somehow stumbled upon a love rectangle, and possibly even a love pentagon. This is an AU story & my take on what should have happened with Elizabeth & Jack. Many of the original events of the series will be included, as well as some that I create. Some of the events will be omitted and others will be changed to fit my story. The timeline of the events have also changed to fit what I wanted to tell. This part 2 and picks up where part 1 left off.

Can Jack and Elizabeth find their way back to each other after her indecisiveness? This story is set in the time frame of the show. However, the storyline differs from it.

Elizabeth realizes she has to faces her fears and allow Nathan into her heart to find true love. Nathan aches to help her but will she allow it? Nathan realizes he needs to not only accept forgiveness from Elizabeth but also his own. Elizabeth longs to help him but will he accept it?

Takes place after the hug but before pre Season 8. This a a submission to a prompt Challenge and will continue. Nathan and Elizabeth have a love for each other but will they have the courage to pursue it or will they remain silent. A trip to Union city may be an opportunity to find out.

Picking up at the end of S8e11. Lucas walks off and Elizabeth finally faces the fear that she has been running from. A redemption fic that aims to restore Elizabeth to a woman worthy of Nathan's heart. Title based on the hymn Amazing Grace "was blind, but now I see."
