cITY OF HAMMERS
After Zero wasn't found anywhere in the castle, Nathan deduced he went to find something that would help them get back Yoru and had decided that he too needed to become stronger. He decided that since he needed to at least to learn how to fight he began to spar with marcilene and finn. After a while he beat finn, but the queen of vampires wouldnt go down so easily. He would throw a punch and it would fail because she turned into a large hidious bat thing. He then decided he would try attacks on the face. He ran up on the furniture in the candy castle's training room, and jumped off and delivered a right hook to marcies face. She moaned but it wasnt enough to beat her.
He then changed tactics, as she tried to crush him with her large fists, he would dodge them and run through and under her legs. He grabed some rope from finns bag and moved before she squashed him. He did the same thing and ran through her legs, he started to tangle her legs as she tried to crush him. He about ran out of rope when he went around a piller to use for levrage, he tugged and she fell down. Tangeld in the rope she tried to move, but couldn't. She then transformed back so she could get out of the rope, he was already above her, holding finns sword towards her neck.
"Good job."
Nathan began to help marcie and finn up on their feet, Nathan then gave the rope and sword back to finn and give marcieline some red items which he promised to her if she helped him learn to fight better. Nathan walked to the window, and thought, 'I can fight well, but I am only human. I can't hit hard enough to make a considerable amount of damage to someone like the pirate captain.' After a while of pondering the equation in front of him.
He looked over to marcielene who was happily eating the red off a shirt, then an idea shot through his brain. He walked up to marcielene and asked, "Can you turn me into a vampire?" Marcielene spit out the red towards Nathan , but he ducked and it hit Finn instead. Marcielne then wiped the rest off her lips, then said, "Uh, No... do you how much of a curse it is to be a vampire?" Nathan shot back quickly with, "Do you know how much of a curse it is to be a peguin?" Marcielene gave him a confused look. Why does he want to be a vampire? she thought. then she asked him, "Why?"
Nathan looked to his side and said simply, "I need to be stronger." Marcielene was taken aback by this, it reminder her of how simon would put on the cursed crown to save marcielene, from the things of the mushroom war. How he became the Ice king because he had to use the crown to save someone he cared for. She thought for a minute more and said, "Sure, but only because I'm a little hungry."
Nathan spent the rest of his day preparing for his change, he grabbed a hoodie, an umbrella and a pair of gloves that covered the rest of his exposed skin. He also wore new pants, there looked like cargo pants, he wore a band tee under the hoodie, and his shoes were replaced with boots. He was ready, when night fell, he went outside the candy kingdom with the female wolf beside him, She said, "You know i can just turn you into a werewolf, if you wanted me to." Nathan replied with, "Yes you could, but if you did, my chance of surviving the turning is close to 50%, thats what Zero said, I can't take that chance, I need to save Yoru."
He walked out the gate, and saw the princess, FLOW, peppermint butler, finn, jake, and Marcielene. He took his place next to Marcielene, and the female wolf went and squated next to the princess. Marcielene pulled Nathan's hair from his neck... Chomp... Nathan's eyes opened and started to become enveloped in black. He fell to his knees, and began to change. His hair turned white, he started to float, and his teeth grew. He yelled at the moon and began to turn into a bat. Marcielene tried to warn him that he wasnt ready to transform.
Wings came from his back and his ears changed into bat ears. He was only able to acomplish this much, for now. he looked at his friends and said, "I' m ready."
Later the next day, Nathan had decided to go the town over in the dwarf kingdom to find a suitible weapon and from there he would head out to find the pirates. He asked if there were anyone willing to come. As he waited outside the candy kingdom getting his shade cart ready, the female wolf came out holding FLOW. Nathan smiled at the two of them, and they smiled back. The princess came out to give them final goodbyes. After all was said and done, Nathan floored the accellerater and off they were, after a while they heared a funny noise.
They looked around and in the back piled with there supplies, Marcielene popped her head out. "Hey guys, So where first?" As she finished saying this they all laughed and the female wolf jumped to hug her. They were fast approching the city of smelten. A city famous for the weapon construction along with armor and other metal tools. When they arrived the sun was about to set, and they all climbed out.
As soon as they did, an alarm began to ring, they turned their heads to where it was coming from. A man in black armor with a streak that went from his boots to his chest plate, whose color changed from red to blue. His arms had green marking on them and his hands were a yellowish tint. There was no Skin showing, he was completely in a armor suit, helmet was the most remeberable, it was completly black, and according to FLOW, it reminded her of someone named 'Daft punk' it appearently looked techno.
He landed twenty feet from the shade cart, as he looked at the freinds a wall behind the man, exploded, through the smoke, eyes were glowing. Then a large robotic arm came through, and said, (with a voice that sounds like that guy, on the song, 'Satisfaction') "Glade! You cease and decist. Give back the money you stole!" The man replied only with the drawing of his sword, it had a double edge and was split down the middle, it had a red diamond crest near the one hand handle. The rest of the robot came out of the smoke revileing that its other arm was damaged. (how was it damaged? It wasn't there.)
It had no legs, it was on some sort of mobile device, it looked like a large ball, to give easy manuvering. The man known as Glade simply stood his ground and readied his sword. Then the mettalic monster had its chest open and revieled cannons. It fired four of the six cannon's, But for some reason they all missed. One even hit the shade cart. Nathan stood his ground with his hoodie still up. Marcielene grabbed FLOW and the female wolf, and took them to safety on top of a small building, as the female wolf held an embrella over Marcielene.
Glade stayed still, and then the sun began to set. His sword started to glow, and split into two. they looked the same except for the diamond crest, one was blue instead of red. then he charged the robot, and began to strike it. It looked like a mouse flipping off a cat. Marcielene was confused, But Nathan knew better, he could tell this guy knew something they didn't. Then he saw that chunks of metal began to fly off. A piece fell near Nathan it was heavy enough to crush him and larger enough cover the shade cart, not only that, it was thick.
Nathan watched, analyzing this Glade character. He looked to see what he wanted to acomplish, even if he got to the wire's he would be unable to cut them, too much electrical current going through them. Thats when Nathan noticed that the robot seemed like it was struggleing, to move. He wondered what was stopping it. Glade stopped after he made a large opening, his sword turned back into one but this time had the Blue diamond.
He began to walk towards Nathan and then out of nowhere the huge metal monster with it's one good arm reached in and began to rip out its wires, electricity traveling through its body and reaching out to other metals, until all at once it stopped and fell backward as smoke arose from its body. Nathan took off his hood as Glade walked past him, muttering to himself about how the fight went.
Marcielene came back with the girls and said, "well that was intresting, what now?" as she looked at the shade cart, Nathan looked around and heared sirens, As dunebuggy looking things surronded them, Nathan said, "Interesting."
After a few hours in jail Nathan and the gang were released at sunset. The shade cart was replaced with another vehicle which looked like a volkswagon hippie cruiser. Nathan decided to go to the junkyard where the shade cart was brought, to find anything that survived the explosion. luckily Nathan had kept the small bag of gold in his kangaroo pocket. Marcie was able to swipe the umbrella and a few pieces of strawberry red candy (And of course her axe bass). The female Wolf grabbed FLOW, and well thats pretty much all she grabbed.
When they got to the shade cart, Nathan used his new found increased strength to rip it apart. He found a few more gold coins, some diamonds that the engine used for power. The rest of their clothes were ruined, and most of their food was now... 'overcooked'. Nathan said, "Well I guess thats all that we can salvage, how much do you guys think this will sell for scrap?" Marcielene thought for a minute along with FLOW, the female Wolf wasnt really thinking at all.
After a While FLOW had finished caunculating and estimated that it would be around 30 pc's of gold. They sold it and left with new found money and few provisions they salvaged, to find weapons and armor. As they prepared to go to the market they make a startleing discovery. They have no idea who or where to buy them from. Nathan drives around for a while and askes around the city they all say to go to hammer street. As they head in that direction, they see the streets getting more and more crowded.
They pull to the side and all get out, they are about two miles from the market on hammer street, but the dense crowd made it take forever. Nathan said in a annoyed tone, "Will we ever get there?" The female wolf trying cheer Nathan up grabbed him by his hand, and began to walk to the market. Marcielene had to hold FLOW, she used a Zip up hoodie to hold her, since she emitted light from her orb. Marcielene a bit anoyyed asked FLOW, "why don't you just use your light form to carry your orb thingy?"
FLOW's head apeared floating in front of Marcielene as she walked, keeping up with Marcielene, FLOW said in an angry voice, "I wish I could! But my designers didn't want me to just sorta wander off, so they programed the orb to dismantle my F,L, body if I touched it! so now I have to have people carry me arround like a freaking baby." Marcielene then sighed and bounced FLOW's orb in the Zip up hoodie, FLOW's floating head looked in utter terror. "No don't do that!" Marcielene smiled and started to taunt FLOW by shakeing it in the Zip up hoodie.
FLOW started to shed glowing tears and wimpering her lips. Marcielene grinned and started to giggle then she stopped shakeing the orb. FLOW then went to marcielene's face and started to stare her down. Marcielene just smiled and said, "Wanna go then?" FLOW's head flashed and her entire body was out. Marcielene set down the hoodie, then it rolled out of the hoodie, and into an indent in the road. They both stood their ground and readied themselves to battle. Nathan looked back and decided that the attention from the crowd might help them gain some info on where to find the best weapons.
FLOW then increased her hieght and body mass, Marcielene turned into the large bat monster she used against enemy's. The crowd watched as the two giants began to go at it. FLOW with a left hook and Marcielene blocked it with her bat wing then spun to FLOW's side. Marcielene tried to kick FLOW, But FLOW changed back into her smaller form so the kick went right over her. FLOW then threw a punch and it increased into the size of Marcielene's body. Marcielene flew onto a building and broke through several floors.
The building started to crumble as marcielene tried to get up, FLOW then turned into a large snake creature and begun to wrap herself around marcielene. Marcielene started to get angry and scream. Marcielene tried to change tactics and turned to her normal form. yet as she did,FLOW kept on her, never letting her go. Marcielene struggled for a bit, then realized somthing and stopped moving. "Wait, I'm not burning?" Marcielene said in confusion. FLOW then held her up with the light energy, and her face materialized in front of Marcielene. "Why would you?" asked FLOW as she began to dissapear.
Setting Marcielene down she returned to her normal form. Marcielene stood there holding her shoulders. FLOW stood there with her arms crossed, she began to say, "Why did you think i was going to burn you? I was made by vampires for vampires. I'm florucent light, the only light that dosen't hurt Vampires." Marcielene then said, "Well how was I supposed to know that." FLOW responded with an annoyed tone, "Well it was your dad, (Hunson Abadeer) who commishend our creation. Claiming it was for you, so you could have a friend to protect you. But our composition was flawed, we were too dangerous. He couldn't take that chance."
Marcielene looked around and thought, 'Daddy?' she neeeded a hug. FLOW picked up on this and teleported to Marcielene. Marcielene got into a fighting stance, But FLOW grabbed Marcielene and pulled her in close. Marcielene was confused, but she gave in and began to hug FLOW back. Nathan approched from behined and said, "Well that's all well and done, but I hear the sirens coming."
As soon as he finished saying that the sirens got louder and gang got ready to run. As they got together, a robot gaurdian fell from the sky still in its ball form when it hit the ground the road cracked. The ball started to open as it did it transformed into a robotic spider. The head of the creature looked like a cannon it turned around and took aim at Nathan and Freinds.
Nathan and Marcielene got into battle positions, while the female wolf grabbed FLOW and hopped up a fire escape to the top of a building. The robot spider made a vibrating sound and the cannon started to glow. Nathan grew out his wings and flew above the spider while Marcielene turned into a large black blob thing. Marcielene got the spiders legs and made sure they couldn't move. Nathan then flew down on the cannon and used his strength to get the cannon aimed somewhere else. The cannon shot a skyscraper that looked very expensive. The skyscraper then fell on the spider, Nathan and Marcielene jumped out of the way before the skyscraper made contact.
When the spider fell, dust blew everywhere, and in the confusion Nathan, Marcielene, the female wolf, and FLOW took off to the market. On the way to hammer street, they met up. Walking in a group, they covered themselves with some blankets and wore some masks they found in a store. (Yeah they stole them)
Walking from seller to seller, they wanted to find good armor and weapon's. Looking through over one hundred and thirty stand's they found nothing that they would consider. Nearly giving up flow made herself usefull by turning into a bench Nathan sat down while Macielene floated above them, the female wolf felt sorry for FLOW and instead of sitting on her, she leaned on the front while she held FLOW in her lap.
"Hey why don't you just float?" asked Marcielene as she strummed her bass and looked directly down at Nathan. Nathan only resonded with a lazy sigh. "I want to stay true to my spirit." Marcielene looked angrily down at Nathan, and said "So you did want to stay human." Nathan chuckeled a bit and said, "Actually I was talking about how I was a penguin." Marcielene floated down and said, "But you were flying like an hour ago." Nathan thought for a moment, and said, "Well I only use it when I need too." As soon as he said that FLOW dissapeared, Nathan fell on his butt then the female wolf leaned backward's and hit her head.
What the? thought Nathan. "Well you coulda used it then." said marcielene as she giggled a bit. The female wolf grabbed the orb and looked at it and asked, "FLOW why did you do that?" But FLOW didn't respond, she just kept blinking and makeing static noise. Nathan grabbed FLOW and examined her. "Intresting... very intresting."
