RESOLUTE?
"So who want's another honey drink?" asked the Pirate with a white gown looking thing, He also wore a weird looking hat that made it look like he had a really long head. The twin elf thing's ran under the the female pirates legs as she went up to grab her third honey drink. The Pirate captain walked by and grabbed the honey drink while the female pirate was distracted by the twins. Zalton sat on the other side of the table from NikkM, they were exchanging small glances at each other. Yoru was biteing the table stareing down Zalton, all the while the food was about done.
"Zalton don't you think you should put on some clothes, there are laides present." Said the female pirate as she looked at the pirate in the white gown for another honey drink thing. Zalton stood up from the table laughing nearvesly and said, "Yeah I guess your right." he stepped away from the table, and walked the the stairs, leading to the crew's quarters. NikkM watched him leave, and they gave one last glance at each other, before he went down. As soon as he left NikkM turned to the female pirate and asked in an overly giddy voice, "What do you think he likes to do?" The female gave NikkM a disgusted look, and said, "Why would I want to know what that pathetic loser like's to do?" NikkM was a little ticked off by her saying this, But she also thought she must have her reasons. The white gown pirate guy announced that the food was ready. He started with bringing the captain his tray at the head of the table.
"Why are we eating outside?" asked Yoru as looked at the nice warm mess hall. The two twin elfs answered in unison, "Its cause we like to look at the stars when we eat." Yoru looked up and noticed all the stars in the sky, she made a oohing noise. The pirate captain took his food and went to his quarters. NikkM and Yoru watched confused and a little lost, in why he did what he did. "Why's he leaving?" asked Yoru. The pirate in the white gown said with a sigh, "Well he never really liked to eat in front of others, or talk to people, or really see people." Yoru then said in a even more confused tone, "Why do you guys follow him then?"
The female pirate stood up and said, "Howdareyou! That man has taken us in, he gave us a home, and trained us to take care of each other, he is the best man we know!" Yoru hunched her head down, The pirate in the white gown sighed again and said, "listen, we all were left alone, we were abanded, or disscriminated, and hurt... But He lent out a hand, when we needed it most." Yoru then interuppted and said, "What about you other ex-crew mates?" the twins said in unsion both looking at the table with hate in their eyes. "They joined our group when we needed enough of a crew to take on the last job we took. They joined because of the money we would recieve, for delivering The WereWolf Queen."
Then NikkM and Yoru looked at each other. 'WereWolf Queen?' They thought. "But why did you grab us? We're not the Queen." Said NikkM. Zalton approached from behind, and said, "Remember when I told you, we were told to find the were wolf queen, we just needed a female werewolf to pose as the werewolf queen. Mostly because we couldn't find the werewolf queen. we were going to collect more werewolves and sell the rest, to this crazy old wizard guy, in the ice kingdom."
Yoru wanted to ask why, when a plate was set in front of her she realized the answer. It was a single bone the was wrapped in a few layers of spinich, and boiled in a vat of olive oil. Her mouth watered at thinking of what the pirate in the white gown could make with actual ingrediants. "Well how much was this guy going to pay?" asked NIkkM. Zalton looked at her confused, and said, "uh, thirty thousand gold peices?" NikkM smiled and said, "I have an idea."...
(~knock` knock~)
"Yes?" said the captain writing down today's exploits, in his captain's journal. The female pirate opened the door and said, "Sir, the werewolves came up with a plan." The Captain looked up from his writing and said, "What? About what?" The female walked up to his desk and gave him a piece of paper and said as he read it, "Of how to make the money." When the captain finished reading the plan blueprint, he said, "They want to give themselves up, get the money, then escape and share the money with us?" The female pirate shook her head up and down, meaning 'yeah... I think so.' The pirate captain stood up and looked his window. "Perfect, we get the money, and new crewmates." The female pirate, looked at the table and saw that the pirate captain had written, that if they don't get money soon the boat will eventually fall apart, and we'd all be worst off. The female pirate smiled and walked out of the captains quarters, thinking, 'He still thinking about us.'
When she approached the dinner table, she gave the crew a thumbs smiled and picked up her weapons and held them high and said, "Now time to prepare!" Yoru went to Zalton and grabbed him by the new frilly shirt he had on, "Listen I need a new weapon, make me one... and if I see looking at my sis again, Im gonna rip you apar.." NikkM grabbed Yoru from her coller then just sorta flung her to the railing. "Don't worry about her, but it would be nice if you could make us new specialized weapons." Said NikkM as she went in really close, and nearly touched nose's with Zalton.
"Well okay, I guess I could work on somthing. But I will need a day or so... So we will need a little longer to get ready." Said Zalton as he poked his two fingers together, and stared downward at the floor blushing. "Right on! Well were going to have to find some where to sleep." said NikkM as she smiled and looked the crew. "Wait... Does that mean we have new crew members?..." said the twins in unison as they looked at one another quizidly. The pirate in a white gown leaned back in his chair, and yelled, "Yo captain!" After a minute the captain opened the door and poked his head out. "What?" asked the captain. "Are these two part of the family, now or what?" Asked the Pirate.
The Captain looked over the two girls, and said as he closed his door, "That's not up to me." The crew looked over at the two girls, nervous NikkM looked at Yoru for help. Yet in her excitment, she was imagining how life would be as a pirate. NikkM smiled and said, "Sure." The twins both jumped at the same time and yelled in unison. "Yay! Party time!" The pirate smiled and shook NikkM's hand, and said, "The name's Extra, cause I'm the chef, and there always seem's to be extra." Yoru looked with stars in her eyes and said, "So that's why your wearing a pretty white gown and funky hat?" Extra smiled and said, "Yeah I used to be a fancy restraunt owner, this was the normal chef atire, But I went out of busneiss, and my family abanded me."
Yoru was chewing on her bone, and said, "Sounds heavy." NikkM said, "My name is NikkM and this is Yoru, we from the year, 2021, were over a thousand years old." The crew kinda looked at them and tilted their heads. "Well my name is rain, And my name is Cloud." Said, the twins, as they held hands and smiled. "We were disscriminated because we were twins, and eventually we were driven from the village, Our parents just watched." they both said in unison, as they smiled. The female pirate pulled out her dagger, and stabbed it into the table. "My name is Braver. I woke up in a forest and couldn't recall who I was. But I was left alone. Then Captain, found me and said, that I was more brave then him, to go wondering in the scary dark forest. And so I thought I was 'Braver'."
NikkM smiled and Looked at Zalton. "Well, my name is Zalton, I was the son of a blacksmith, but he was attacked on his way to sell his things at Hammer Street. I was left all alone. Then the captain found me and the rest is history." NikkM smiled and said, "Well what's the captain's name?" Extra and Braver answered at the same time, "The captain's name is Captain." Yoru pushed NikkM out of the way and said, "The captain is know as Captain, becuase he is captain?" Extra and Braver just stared at each other, then the twins jumped up and said, "Yep!" Yoru started laughing and danced in a circle with the twins.
NikkM went to the side railing as Extra brought out his guitar and Braver grabbed a violin, and began playing. "So your okay with the fact, that we killed your friend, and kiddnapped you both?" NikkM giggled and said, "It will take a lot more to kill Zero, he's like a roach... no matter how many times you step on him he just keeps coming back." Zalton looked at her confused, "So he's still alive?" NikkM looked at the sky and said, "Yep and with my luck he'll attack us with nathan and... wait.. what was that girl's name?" Zalton looked at her confused looking face, and smiled.
(Somewhere in the underworld, Death and Zero had a battle to the death, with music.)
Zero had just read the little skelengtons note, Which read, "I can play Everything."
"So what song should we do?" Asked Zero to the young skeleton thing. The Skeleton wrote down that they should do the song, that Zero picked. "Alright then, ready? one, two, one two three four!" Zero, started with a slow guitar solo. Then started to sing, 'Hurt' the Johnny Cash version. The skeleton, started to overlay the guitar with a piano on the higher notes. After a while Zero finished the lines and The little skelenton then started on the piano, playing the opening to 'I promise you' by When in rome. and Zero sang the lyrics providing back up on his accoustic. After the song was reaching the last few lyrics, Zero started the opening to 'The World at large' By Modest mouse. During the song Death stood up and jumped on the stage, he summoned his drum set and a few band mate's. They got ready and started to Play Andrew W.K's 'Ready to die', the sound blew zero on his butt.
Zero stood up after the second stanza of notes, and the skelenton put the amps on high and Zero grabbed an electric gibson guitar, and started on the bass line for 'Seven Nation Army' By the white stripes. He used the bass strings, while the skelenton went on the drums and strarted the drum line. Zero sang the first few lyrics, But Death was relentless. He started 'Long live the party' Also by Andrew W.K. And nearly blew up Zero's side of the stage. lighting came from death's band guitar, while the ground started to shake from Death's drum's. Death Started on the Screamo type singing, But before they could start the next chorus, Zero had a song ready.
Zero and his freind started the first notes of 'Paradise City' By Gun's and Rose's But before they could even start the lyrics, Death Said, "Time for the big guns." His band started the guitar intro to, 'The Day that never comes.' By Mettalica. Zero's ear's rang at how awsome they played it. Then the drums started to thunder down and a corpse rose from the stage. The corpse began to sing the lyrics, and Death watched Zero struggle against the sound waves. Zero put his hand in the air and did a power chord, then he started on 'Sweet child of mine' By Gun's and rose's. Death was pushed back and his newly summoned singer turned into ash. Death Sneered at Zero, and stood up as his feet continued to play drums.
He grabbed the guitar from his undead band and played 'Alligator blood' By Bring me the horizan. Death grabbed the mic and started to scream the lyrics. The sound wave finally broke the electric guitar Zero was holding, and threw Zero over the drums. Zero stood up from the broken wood that surronded him. The little skelenton, was tugging Zero's shirt and shaking her head, No. Zero smiled and placed his hand on the top of her skull. "Don't worry, I have a few more songs up my sleeve." Zero stood in front of the mic, and clapped his hands as the skelenton got other skelenton's to help out. Zero started with his accoustic, playing the opening to 'Purple rain' By Prince. One of the two skelentons that the little skelenton grabbed, started on the electric guitar, and Zero stopped playing and only sang the lyrics. The other skelenton got on the drums, while the little skelenton played the piano.
Death's band stopped playing, and started to sway to the song, 'Purple rain'. Death became furious and started his feet on the drums, while he played on the guitar, 'Wanted dead or alive' Bon jovi. Deaths band snapped out of it and began to play backup. Zero smiled then walked over to the Skelenton's, and told them somthing in their ears, the skelenton got on her piano, the other two grabbed the drums and a electric bass guitar. Zero stood there with his acoustic, and sang the first line while the little skelenton played the piano, "He~ey jude... don't make it bad... take a sa~ad so~ng and make it bet~ter... remember... to let her into your he~art... then you can sta~rt... to ma~ke it bet~ter." as he continued the lyrics he joined in on the acoustic guitar. after a few lines the drums started, and the bass created the groove.
Death looked in horror as he lost the music battle, to the Beatles 'Hey Jude'. Death's band started to quite literaly, fall apart. Death stared at Zero as he finished the song with one last soft chord. Death smiled and said, "lets see what the judge has to say." The judge walked up the stairs to the stage, and walked passed Death. He went straight to Zero, and said, "Well you didn't have any original songs, and you aren't even good at the solo's." He turn's to Death, "You however are one of the best Drummer, and guitar player. But you waste your talent on this tatseless music." He then pointed at Zero and said, "You , you win." Zero smiled and said, "Thank's, Mr, Cash."
Death walked over to Zero and grabbed his shoulder, "Thanks for the jam battle, it's been boreing down here for a while, and well here." As he finished saying this the little skelenton, started to glow. When she stopped growing Zero could see her hair, it was a silver. It was long enough to touch the ground, her eyes, turned to a purple haze. Her skin was a white as china, and her clothes... ur.. her clothes? "Whoa why she naked!?" asked Zero as he turned away. Death mearly laughed and said, "Well its not like her clothes, were part of the deal." Zero looked at Death with fire in his eyes. "Give her some clothes!" Death squinted and said, "Hey listen, she's a Elf, where she came from, they didn't have clothes, Mabye its cause she was buried like this." Zero sighed and took off his vest and his pants. He handed them her to her, He was now only in some boots, and a white buttin down. She looked at Zero and put the pants on. Zero turned around, after she put on the vest, he turned back and said, "Alright, well that will keep us over till we get back."
"Hey say hi to Peppermint Butler, for me." Zero smiled and said, "Sure." As he reached out his hand to shake Deaths, he was back in the candy castle. Zero sighed and turned around to see the little elf, un~buttoning the vest. Zero looked franticly at her and tried to button it back up, but he heared a scream. He turned to see Princess Bubblegum, holding her mouth looking at where Zero's hand's were. "Wait... its not what you think." Princess Bubblegum ran over to them and pushed Zero to the ground.
"I can exlpain." said Zero as he started to get back on his feet. "What's your name? How old are you? Where did you come from?" Princess Bubblegum looked frantic holding the elf's shoulders. Zero picked up the elf, and held Princess Bubblegum an arm's length away. "What's yer prob bro?" asked Zero as he placed the elf on his shoulder. "That is a Licorise wood Elf!" Zero looked at the little Elf as it again started to remove the vest. "And what's so great about that?" Asked Zero as he looked at the little elf struggle on the last button. "They've been extinct since 90 years ago!" Zero looked at the little elf and said, "oh, thats new." Princess Bubblegum tried even harder to reach the little elf. "How can you be so calm about it?"
"Listen, I got her from the underworld." Princess Bubblegum looked at Zero as he stared at her. "But... Why?" asked the Princess. "Cause I needed help fighting, that captain, and Death said, she was the best option." Princess Bubblegum, slumped backward, and said, "Well can I at least give her a Physical. I mean it's not every day, when we can catergorize an extinct species." Zero looked at the little girl and she smiled back. "Alright, but no weird stuff." The princess jumped up and plucked the little Elf from Zero. "Like you weren't about to do somthing 'weird' with her." Said the Princess when she walked away. "Hey it was a misunderstanding!" Said Zero running after her.
