Edward POV

A Week Later:

"Your majesty, just wanted to let you know that everything is set and ready for you tonight." I looked up at Anna and smiled.

"Thank you Anna, you can leave for the day." I told her as I got up and made my way out of the room. She was obviously about to protest, but I held my hand up to her and motioned for her to leave.

"Thank you sir." I just nodded, made sure she left and started to make my way to my room. I needed to get ready after all.

Last week was amazing, and I still can't get over how incredible Bella looked that night. The first outfit she came out in had my cock twitching in my pants. Okay stop thinking about your cock Edward. Bella came out in this incredible bodysuit first, which is what got my cock twitching in the first place, and she owned that runway, she really did. Her second outfit was a gorgeous, floor length red gown with a deep v at the front, that made her pale porcelain skin look exquisite. Her hair was all pinned up in a messy style, which also looked good and her makeup looked natural but enhanced, as Alice told me, but frankly I didn't give a shit, she just looked beautiful to me.

Overall the show was a success, it ended with all who took part walking the runway one last time, and thanking the designers and high street brands that donated their clothes for this event.

But the night didn't go plan in my eyes. Even though Bella was seated next me, I hardly got a chance to speak to her. During dinner, everyone wanted to speak to her and I didn't want monopolise her time. I told her she looked beautiful and she did a great job, and then after the dinner when the guests started mingling, I got inundated by people who wanted to speak to me, and Bella herself, because she was part of the show, she also had people coming up to her and speaking with her, so in the end I basically didn't get a chance to really talk to her, and in all honestly I was kidding myself that I actually would. The best part was that Lady Tanya didn't get to speak with me at all.

So I had to create a whole new plan to get Bella alone, and the plan was all set.

After showering and changing, I made my way to the court yard where Billy was waiting for me at the car. Getting in, we took off and I had asked Billy specifically not to use my usual car, so tonight Billy was driving the Audi A5, a car which I rarely use, so that I can go out about unknown.

Half an hour later we pulled up outside Bella apartment building. Taking a deep breath I quickly got out of the car and made my up the stairs and buzzed her number.

"Alice is that you?" Bella asked through the intercom.

"I'm afraid Alice couldn't make it. So she sent me in her place. I hope that's okay?" I asked. There was a long pause, and I couldn't help the smirk that came to my face that I've rendered her speechless.

"Edward?" She whispered.

"Yep, that's me. I hope that's okay?" I asked with a smile.

"No…I mean yes…yes of course it's okay, I'll be down in a moment."

I moved to stand at the bottom of the steps to wait for her and a couple moments later she appeared at the door. She paused a moment and just looked at me before closing the door, and she just stood there and looked at me again, she looked beautiful, her hair in waves that hung nearly to her waist, a cream top and what looked like leather trousers and a pair of black heels. She just looked stunning.

"Well this a surprise your majesty. What brings you to my neck of the woods sire?" She asked me as she made her way down the steps to me, before stoping on the last one and smiling. If I didn't know any better I'd say she was being flirty.

"An incredible brunette who I've wanted to take to dinner, since the moment I looked into her gorgeous big brown doe eyes."

Her breath hitched, and I swear she swayed forward towards me. I held my hand towards her and after a moment and biting her bottom lip she took it. That electric current flowed through our hands, like every time we touched.

"Your carriage awaits…" I said while moving to the side and holding my arm out towards the Audi. She smiled and stepped down the last step and walked towards the car. I opened the passenger side door for her and she slipped right in. I jogged round the car to the other side and slid in.

"To Eclipse please Billy."

"Yes sir."

"Eclipse? Wait doesn't that like a years waiting last?" She asked, I looked at her quite surprised that she knew that. "Emmett has a table booked for his and Rose's anniversary next year. He was lucky to even get that table as it was a cancelation, he had his name put down on a waiting list for that day, they called him about a month later to tell him he had the table. So how did you manage to get a table?"

I just looked at her for a moment.

"You're gonna make me say it aren't you?" I asked. She smiled and nodded.

"Okay, okay I pulled the King card, and what do you know the restaurant suddenly became available." I told her.

"Wait the whole restaurant?" She asked, the colour draining from her face slightly.

"Well I didn't want to share my first date with the woman I've wanted to date for a while, with up to a hundred people. A hundred people that would stare and no doubt take pictures. So it's just going to be me you, and a handful of staff. I hope that's okay?"

She swallowed before nodding.

"So how was your day?" I asked changing the subject.

"Amazing, I delivered a set of twins today, naturally, and they were only a week early, the mother was amazing and they were just perfect." Bella gushed, with an adoring smile on her face.

"What did she have?"

"Oh one of each. It was her first pregnancy and she got lucky!" Bella laughed. "They were adorable though, and there mum was fantastic, we sometimes get mothers to be who are, shall we say, self entitled, when they come to The Portland, they think the world revolves around them, when we can have up to a 100 mothers to be at one time, money doesn't always buy you what you want. But this woman, well she's on my favourite list of patients that I've had so far, and there aren't a lot of people on that list that's for sure."

I frowned at her words as it sounded like, on most days that she didn't enjoy her job.

"So do you not like working there?" I asked, really wanting to know. She paused for a moment.

"Yes and no. Days like today and the day your nephew were born, are the days I love. But they get out weighed by the days I hate. I've been thinking that my skills would be put to better use, if I applied for an NHS hospital, and help your everyday woman. Don't get me wrong, The Portland is an amazing place, but I just think my work would be more appreciated somewhere else. They opened the door for my career, they took a risk in hiring me, because of my being so young and unexperienced, but I think it's time to move on…I'm sorry I'm going off on a tangent."

"Hey don't worry about it, I asked and I wanted to know. But Bella if you're not happy working where you are, do it move on to another hospital that you feel will be better for you." I told her honestly. Although if this works out, the way I'm really hoping it will, Bella won't be working, I know it's sounds crazy, but it just wouldn't be possible for her to work.

"Yeah I'm gonna have a look on job sites and see what's out there and just start applying. I've actually thought about doing the whole doctors without borders, but for midwives kinda thing and help people that really need it, and don't have the means that the people of this country have. Not to mention it would also give me a chance to see the world too."

I didn't know what to say. Just the thought of her leaving and not seeing her, made my heart brake, Jesus we weren't even officially together. But she can't leave. I'm gonna have to give her a good enough reason to stay.

"Well…I'd say that's…"

"Sir we're here." Billy interrupted as the car rolled to a stop. I looked up and saw the we were indeed at the restaurant, smiling at Bella, I exited the car and made my way around to let her out. Holding my hand out for her she took and held my hand.

"I still can't believe I'm here!" Bella exclaimed, when she stood next to me.

"The restaurant or with me?" I asked.

"Honestly?" I nodded. "With you."

I smiled at her answer, as that meant maybe just maybe, she felt the same way as me.

"We this way m'lady, our table awaits."

Holding my elbow out towards her, she gently placed her hand in the crook of my elbow and then I led her inside, to a dinner that I knew would change both our lives for good.

First and foremost I want to apologise for the incredibly long wait you guys have bad for this chapter, and in all honestly I don't have an excuse to give you, I just couldn't be bothered to write anymore and I couldn't see where this story was going, or any of my other in fact.

I understand if nobody wants to continue reading this story or any of my others, but I am gonna try and get at least this one finished.

I'm not gonna promise to update dates, I'm just gonna update when I can and when I feel like the chapters are good enough, in my opinion, to be shared, but I am gonna try to update, "hence the word try" this story once a month, until it's complete.

So if anyone is actually still with me…please review I would like to know your opinions and your views on where you think this story is going to go.

Oh and also this is a work of fiction, so no, it's not going to be politically correct where the Royal Family is concerned and I am going to embellish a little in the fictional part of this story, but I will try to get some actual facts in there too.

I do not have a beta, if there are grammar, spelling, issues I'm sorry I did try to catch them all, but obviously things slip through the cracks.

Ok, so I will try to update ASAP, but don't bank on it being too soon, but I will try.
