(Realas P.O.V.)
Fangs pulled ahead choosing to speak on a communicator whilst leading the way. Scott and I chose to hang back, instead relaying over our more recent adventures.
"Yah and then when you shot that guy, I thought u looked crazy" Reala laughed as Scott nodded. Scott chuckled, "Well it was either look crazy or get killed. I chose the easier option."
We stopped when we came to a clearing, and Fangs finished her conversation. "Yes, we're already here. I'll be waiting for you arrival. She hung up and looked at us. "I've invited some friends to up the ante. But trust me it'll be way more fun and interesting this way."
I felt a spike in the energy around us and began to look around. It was very strange power, and it made me nervous. I felt their arrival before seeing them. Two figures walked out of the forest surrounding us. From far away all you could see was that one was a hedgehog and the other a bat. Only when closer could you tell of their distinguishing features.
The hedgehog fur was a brilliant Purple and blue, his quills extend out like a certain blue and black hedgehog that I knew. However his stripes were a mixture of pink and magenta in comparison to Shadows red. He wore a long black trench coat that billowed in the wind, and gave off a very intimidating atmosphere. The eyes captured me the most. They were a strange mixture of cool colors, with a splash of pink and magenta thrown in. Though instead of sitting normally in the center of his eyes, they swirled. And they gave me a feeling of uneasiness I refused to show.
The bat took to the air high above, before settling to hover right above the hedgehog. It was then that I could tell of his clothing. A top hat sat upon his head, and a golden monocle was perched upon his left eye donned with a cornucopia of diamonds. He wore a tuxedo, obviously tailored specifically for him, you could tell of the deep red that seemed to shimmer in a light that wasn't present. In his hand he held a cane with a very large jewel atop it. And a mischievous grin completed his ensemble.
Fang waved and nodded and Scott and I. Well this is Nova and Marcus the bat. At the mention of his name Marcus issued a deep graceful bow, while somehow remaining aloft. Nova looked me dead in the eye and I tried my best to avoid his gaze.
"So what are you guys out here looking for?" Nova asked.
Scott crossed his arms. "We're here for a challenge, the party we were at was way too dull and boring." He replied cockily.
Nova hopped from foot to foot, and smiled. "Well let's decide what the stakes are going to be, shall we…?"
Marcus landed on the ground before me and kissed my hand. "Well if that's the case, I'd love to take this lovely flower on a date." I blushed and yanked my hand away from his grasp. Scott thankfully stepped in front of me, "We'll gladly fight on equal terms."
Fang smiled. "I can't wait to see how this turns out." And stepped back at a reasonable distance. The stars shown above and the moon illuminated the field we stood in. Scott got into a defensive position, while Marcus, Nova, and I stood.
Fang raised an arm above her head, "Ready?" she asked looking from both sides. Then her arm went down.
"BEGIN!"
