I do not own the characters of Teen Wolf. I only own this idea. Reviews are appreciated. I love to know what you think.
"Are you sure that you want to see that list, Stiles? I'm not going to lay the food out for you, that is not going to happen. I'm not about to put myself and anybody else through that, it's going to be a shock on both sides." asked Derek as he reached over and fixed a piece on hair that had fallen onto Lydia's face, gently brushing it back before he picked up one of his shading pencils again, hoping to match the strawberry blonde's features exactly, giving her a playfully stern look when she went to move.
"I'm positive, I want to see what you have written down so we can talk to Deaton again about what to try to re-add to your diet. Pencils down, you've had him enough now, Lydia. It's my turn. He will finish his drawing of you as soon as I'm finished with him. That means you will have to release your grip on him, he has to be able to get up from the couch." explained Stiles as he walked into the living room, unable to hold back the smirk that formed on his lips as he watched the Banshee and the wolf untangle themselves, both now fully sitting up. Lydia helped the wolf to pack up all of his drawing utensils, watching as Isaac tossed an eraser into the air a few times before tossing it to the Banshee, who caught it with a soft smile, placing it in the small container that held everything he had used. Derek rose from the couch and packed everything back up into the box, closing it up with a few bent flaps, before he slid it beside the couch so it was out of the way.
"Stiles? Are you really sure about this? I kinda agree with Allison on this, it's too early in his recovery and he's not ready." asked Scott as he looked over towards his best friend, brown eyes furrowed in concern. Stiles looked from Allison, to Scott, then back to Allison, as if he were waiting for her jurisdiction on the matter. Allison's eyes narrowed in a small hint of anger, before she held her hands up in a small gesture of surrender.
"If you want to put him through that, then go ahead. But I am giving you one warning, Stiles, and only one. You are going to be the one responsible for what he does to make up for it. We tried the same thing for my cousin, all it did was aide her ED. She learned how to hide it even better, how to lie and manipulate. It set her back in her recovery." explained Allison as she leveled her gaze with the teen across from her.
"I'll make both of you a deal. Stiles, I'll lay out the food but I won't lay out amounts. Allison, if it becomes too much to handle, I'll step back and write in the journal for a while until I'm calmed back down. Or I'll continue to draw Lydia some more if she can sit still long enough." bargained the green eyed wolf as he looked between the two teens, silently hoping that this would level each of them out. His eyes went from teen to teen, wolf to wolf, as they all seemed to be waiting for what the both of them would decide. A silent nod from both teens, and a small gesture from Stiles to have Derek follow him, was what they got in response. The tension immediately left the room once the decision had been made.
"Guys, why don't you take the ladies out for a treat for a while? It'll give Stiles and I some time together to work through this." suggested Derek as he leaned against the kitchen frame, arms crossed over his chest, baggy shirt fitting loosely around him. Lydia and Erika smiled brightly at him before they bound off to their boyfriend's sides, Allison walked over to Derek and pressed a soft kiss to his cheek before she walked over to Scott and followed the others out the front door. Isaac hesitated a few minutes before the older wolf gave him a silent nod of his own, letting him know that it was okay to leave. The Alpha waited until the door was clicked closed before he walked into the kitchen, picking up his tablet off of the table where it was laid open.
"How do you want to do this, Stiles? Should I just set everything out? Or should I read off the list, how it's prepared, and then set it out?" asked the wolf as he sat down in a kitchen chair across from the teen, who was resting his elbows up on the smooth wood. Stiles seemed to consider the options that were put in front of him before he answered the wolf.
"List everything off and how it's prepared. I'll lay everything out that is in the house." said Stiles as he rose from the chair that he was in at the table and walked over to each cabinet and cupboard, opening each of them up to display what was inside. Derek slid the tablet towards himself as he bit down on his bottom lip a bit, before starting to list things off.
"Starting from the beginning, a seriously guilty pleasure, ice cream. It doesn't really matter what kind or how its prepared. That by far is the easiest thing you could possibly binge and purge, except for things that are completely liquid. Any kind of cereal, usually really soaked in milk. Any kind of pasta, I always choose the smaller types and cook them completely soft. Any kind of cookies, cakes, brownies, things like that. Um. Milkshakes, smoothies, anything along those lines. Pancakes, waffles, anything along those lines, drenched in butter and syrup until they're completely soft. Pizza, of any kind. It's a bit rough to purge that, but it's doable. I don't touch fast food so that's never going to be on this list. Everything is followed down by any diet soda, it makes everything easier to come back up." explained Derek as he closed the tablet, making sure to look anywhere but at Stiles, who seemed to have stopped rooting through the cupboards and cabinets about halfway through the list, a bit too shocked at the wolf's forwardness to continue.
