I hope your Fourth of July went fine this year. Mine's sure did! Anyway, read and don't forget to review!
"Felix! Go take your bath right now!" Eileen yelled. Felix threw his arms up, "Why? I just took one an hour ago!" Eileen glared, "You have barbeque sauce all over you, now go!"
The golden raccoon mumbled to himself as he walked upstairs. Rigby was helping Emily clean her room. And Rydel was trying to clean the yard of litter. Eileen's dad was coming over for the weekend, so that meant to keep everything clean.
Rigby digged out trash from under his daughter's bed. "How did you even get ten bags of chips under here?" Emily shrugged, "I get hungry."
"Dad's here! Everyone get down here right now!"
The kids and Rigby ran downstairs and stopped at the front door. A brown beaver slowly walked inside, "Hey there Eileen. How's my little girl?" The mole hugged her father tightly, "It's so good to see you again."
Henry looked past his daughter and saw his son-in-law, along with his grandkids. "Well, if it isn't my grandkids and Rigby. Come give your Papa a hug!" Emily and the twins wrapped their arms around Henry.
Rigby smiled, "Kids go easy on ol' Papa."
Henry glared at the raccoon, "You will call me sir." Rigby's smile vanished. "So Dad, you can unpack your things in the guest room to the right. I'll start cooking dinner."
The beaver nodded and took his things to the guest room.
Emily hummed to her favorite song while laid on the couch. Henry sat next to her, "Hey sweetie, who are you listening to?" The raccoon didn't reply. "Emily?" She didn't move.
Henry grabbed her phone. "Hey! Give that back!"
"Usher!? His songs are too nasty for you! You need to listen to songs from boy bands."
"I'm thirteen! And a half! I'm perfectly capable of listening to his songs!"
The beaver scrolled through her playlists, "Look, you have Trey Songz, Kayne West, *gasp* Lil Wayne!?" Emily snatched her phone from Henry and ran upstairs to her room.
Henry groaned, "Kids these days..." Rigby walked by, holding a sandwich in his paws. Henry looked over at him, "Rigby! How could you let your daughter listen to that stuff!? She's too young."
The raccoon shrugged, "She can handle it. She's not a six year old anymore."
"It doesn't matter. She could be doing things you don't know about. Drugs, alcohol, se- DADDY!" Eileen had interrupted her father before he finish. "Emily is fine. And I know that she would never do that."
The beaver gave Eileen a weird look, "You never know sweety. Now Rigby, she should listen to Justin Bieber or Selena Gomez. Those are people she should listen to. A good father makes sure of that."
Rigby slightly growled at the last sentence.
Rydel played with her toys happily in her room. Henry opened her door, "Hi there. How's my little girl?" Rydel flinched. The way he said that sentence sounded so...weird.
"I'm fine. And you should really knock before coming in." Henry lifted her up, "Awww! But you are too young to understand the meaning of knock aren't you? Yes you are! Yes you are!"
Rydel glared at her grandfather, "I'm not a baby!" Henry chuckled. "Alright, let me fetch you your fibbie and bottle. I'm pretty you're hungry."
Minutes later...
Rydel sat uncomfortably on the floor. She was dressed in nothing but a diaper. A pacifier was stuffed in her mouth. Henry smiled, "There. A little four year old should dress like that, instead of wearing those heavy shirts."
The small mole spat out her pacifier, "I'm. Not. A. BABY!" But all Henry could hear was babbling from her. "There there, a good father makes sure you are comfy."
Felix sloppily ate his PB&J sandwich. Jelly covered his face, making it sticky. A certain beaver walked inside the kitchen, but was immediately disgusted. "Felix, what is that on your face?!"
"...Jelly. Want some?" he replied. The beaver shook his head, "C'mere boy. I wanna show you something. See that sink over there?" Felix nodded, "Yeah."
"All you have to do is put your head in it." The golden raccoon walked over to the sink and placed his head in. "Why am I doing this?" Henry grabbed the small hose thing (I don't know what it's called) and sprayed it all over him.
Felix squirmed as the water hit his face, "Grandpa! Stop!"
About a minute later, the water stopped. Felix gasped for air. Henry placed the thing down and wiped his paws, "There, now there shouldn't be anymore filth on you. A good father makes sure his kids stay nice and clean."
"That's it!"
Rigby tackled his father-in-law down, "I AM a good father! Say I am! Say it!" Henry wrestled the raccoon, "These kids need a good male role model in their lives. You don't know how to be good for them!"
Rigby growled, "I am a good father! I let Emily listen to whatever music she wants, not some trashy boy band crap! I heard you say that. I don't make Rydel wear a diaper anymore or drink out of a bottle. You know why? Cause she is four! FOUR! As for my son, if his face needs to be clean, he just needs to grab a paper towel, not use the hose thingy! I'm pretty sure I know how to raise MY kids!"
Henry listened to his word carefully.
"You...You're right. I didn't know what came over me. I-I guess I was just so used to protecting Eileen from everything. From songs, to the way she dressed, and how she ate. I'm sorry for doubting you Rigby, you are a good father."
The raccoon hopped off the beaver, "Its okay man. But I think you might wanna apologize to the kids." Emily, Felix, and Rydel all stood in front of them, with their arms crossed.
Henry smiled nervously, "Sorry kids."
"It's okay grandpa, we forgive you." they said in unison.
Summary:
