(I own nothing but the plot (and the witch/her pets). Listen guys, sorry, the chapter, yes, was rushed a bit. However, I changed it, but it didn't save on me. Instead, I'll give this to you.)
The Final Final Chapter!
. . .
The seven children walked- limped was more like it- toward Death City, occasionally talking among each other. The topic of interest slowly drifted toward the witch and her pet. Once they all got together, they defeated the witch easily, but it didn't feel over. Something descended right in front of them. A bloody mass lay in front of them. They couldn't do anything, but stare.
They realized the danger only when a big black mass smashed down right next to the body, red oozing from its lips. "Oh man," Liz said, paling greatly. "Is-Is-"
"It's Crona." Blackstar told them all.
"It can't be, that blood's red," Maka only half believed her statement, as she glanced at the body. She saw pale pink hair. It was Crona! Then whose blood was it? It must of been others in Death City! Soul and Kid must have came to the same conclusion because they both looked at Maka. The towering creature of black fur was tall enough to be considered at least ten feet tall with four feet for its width.
It roared, spraying red, and some black, from its mouth. It reared back and screeched, brown claws rising from the ground slowly. Maka, who realized what it was going to do, rushed forward and slid on her knees to reach Crona's body. Her hands lifted his torso up as she made her way to leave the creature's feet. However, the bright opal blue eyes darted down to narrow at them.
Its claw whipped down. Maka gasped, sending up an arm, which fortunately changed to a scythe blade to protect them. The impact sent the creature back a few steps, giving Maka a chance to get away unscathed with Crona. Maka reached the others just as the creature howled and charged. In a split second after that, Blackstar darted forward as Tsubaki transformed in his hand.
Blackstar slid around it with a smirk, and he took a quick slash at it. Tsubaki connected with presumably the monster's forearm. It screeched louder, swinging out its other hand to knock Blackstar away, which it accomplished easily. Blackstar flew past Kid when he was originally got hit. Two twin pistols were aimed at the creature's head. Multiple shots hit home.
The beast sputtered and almost flopped to its back. Instead, it came forward once again, barely missing Kid, who side-stepped out of the way. Soul nudged Maka to get her attention. By this point, no one was ready for a fight, but nonetheless it was happening. No matter what, they couldn't let this thing go. It already injured at least one person. Maka watched as Kid ducked under a slow foot.
It, then, sent out a fast moving paw, colliding with Kid's side, sending him sprawling across the ground. Luckily, he was back up on his feet, moving somewhat slow, at least from what he was used to. He ducked and twirled out of the way of its foot. A low sound erupted from underneath Maka, and she looked down to see Crona's eyelids fluttering open.
"Maka," started Soul. "Maka!" He repeated with more urgency. At last, her green eyes met his red ones, and all at once, she knew something bad had occurred. Her gaze traveled to the creature as it grabbed hold of Kid and threw him into the ground, literally into the ground, enough for his face to be submerged within the rocks and dirt.
Maka placed Crona on the ground gently, just when the creature's eyes located her. It screeched at her, and Maka charged, Soul in hand as a scythe. This is for Crona! She swung forward, missing the giant. She landed on her knees and rolled out of the way of a huge leg. It swept low and slow. Maka went at it again, doing what she did before to end the other "Pet."
With one big arch down, the blade hit the Pet's head. However, the blade did not venture any farther in. In fact, the Pet was less than phased, just angered more. Its claw cut across her stomach, resulting in her falling to her back. She couldn't get to her feet fast enough, and something with a great weight connected with her newest wound. Maka gasped out in pain.
Her vision blurred, as she attempted to stand, but a weight landed on her again, but this time it was quite lighter than the other one. She glanced to see Soul above her, arm (a scythe blade) upward and resting on the five claws of the beast's one hand. The other hand came out and swiped him down without a second to respond. Soul hit the ground and bounced up to his feet.
He rushed forward, ducking once, and he took a leap at the creature. It hit him back again. This time, however, he didn't bounce to his feet, but he skidded across the rocks. Maka, who was only on her knees, forced herself up more. She swayed as she saw the five claws came at her from the side. She didn't react, and she ended up on the ground once more.
Maka gazed up at the fur that seemed to spiral in her vision. She knew she should stand up, but her body wouldn't respond. A blur of black and pink swept in front of her. Immediately afterwards, the blur went directly at the creature. The blur seemed to have an awkward grip on the sword it carried, but it still landed a great enough hit. The force from the impact made the creature smash to the ground.
Maka realized it was Crona and Ragnarok. Crona jumped out of the way as the monster flailed around to hit him. A small frown rose to his face. He didn't feel right about this creature, but it was hurting people. Crona ducked under a slow foot as a large claw nearly got his neck. Crona slipped to the ground to evade the claw at his neck, and he rose to his feet while spinning to escape another attack.
A claw, unfortunately, caught hold of his arm. The paleness of Crona's arm revealed the deep mark and the blood flowing from the wound. Suddenly, the black blood exploded and the beast howled in pain. Crona took the opportunity to rush forward and land a good blow to the creature's head, where Maka had aimed previously. This allowed the others to also attack.
Amidst the children, the creature had to endure various attacks. Attack after attack, again and again. After a few minutes, the creature landed in a heap at their feet, not moving. Blackstar smirked and approached the creature, standing on top of it. "I've defeated it, you can thank the Great Blackstar!" His laugh was loud and so sure. Hands on his hips, he turned to a very nervous looking Crona.
"May-maybe you sh-should get down..." Crona stammered. His voice was softer than usual as he added, "N-n-now."
Blackstar narrowed his eyes. "And who do you think you are-" Abruptly, a quick movement erupted underneath Blackstar and sent him flying forward. Blackstar found himself face-to-face with the beast. His face paled, but not because of being so close to the creature, but that its eyes were wide open. It stared at him, eyes unblinking. It was extremely unnerving to the last Star Clan member.
Its mouth opened. Other than that, there was no other movement, except for Soul's slow approach. "Slowly, get up, slowly," he hissed when Blackstar moved and a growl came from in front of him. The eyes watched Blackstar's every move. Blackstar barely maneuvered his body into a sitting position when the creature howled and lunged at him.
A giant shuriken struck it in the eye, giving Blackstar enough time to get to his feet and back up some. When the shuriken was removed from its eye and transformed into Tsubaki, who appeared next to Blackstar, it gave a horrific sound. It was a mix of a screech and a wail. It charged forward, only to land backwards from a hit from a scythe (Soul) and multiple compressed wavelengths.
It growled, spitting out a red liquid. It bared its teeth soon after. Maka and Blackstar took off at the same time, Soul in hand, Tsubaki changing into Blackstar's palm. Both ran around it in a circle, at different speeds and in different places. It was to confuse the creature, which it was slightly successful until it noticed Kid in his strange "symmetrical" stance, aiming for a good shot.
"Its feet is its weakness," stated Blackstar, who finally realized that he didn't get to finish his sentence from before.
Maka glanced over at him. "Aim for his ankles, get him down."
"Then go for its head." Blackstar finished. Right where the forehead would be. Maka nodded and they preceded with the plan. Kid and Crona distracted the creature with Kid shooting, and Crona leaping over its attacks to land a small one of his own if the creature didn't pay attention to them. Before the monster knew it, something, well many somethings connected with its legs.
It caused it to fall forward instantly. "Go for the head!" Maka shouted over the big crash the creature had made upon hitting the ground. Shots rang out, Maka, Blackstar, and Crona attacked all at once, right on the crown of the creature, resulting in painful howls to escape from the monster. The monster snapped to its feet, enraged. The growl that came from its throat was long and agonizingly insistent on splitting their eardrums.
The ground shook as the monster howled again and charged. Inches from the children, it stopped. It was frozen for a little, until it basically face-planted with the ground, and Blackstar went forward, fist at the ready. Blackstar Big Wave. He cocked his elbow and slammed his fist into the creature's head. With an abrupt twist, the beast exploded into a shimmer of various colors.
It resembled that of glitter almost as it flurried around them and fell slightly toward the ground. It was finally over; everyone felt an immediate relief. The witch was gone, as well as her Pets. The reign of the Ice Witch was finished. Now for the damage. They found themselves at Death City, well what was left of it. It was left in ruins, smoke rose above the city in an ominous cloud over head.
No one was among the streets as the children went to the Academy. Now the relief they all had felt was deteriorating. They was no sign of anyone. Everyone disappeared, or they all ended up dead. After all this, they didn't save anyone it seemed, but a voice rang out among the disaster.
"Thank you for defeating that witch. But now, you're all going to die." It was unfamiliar.
Everyone whipped their heads around, but it was too late. Their vision had already went black.
. . . .
