Chapter Six: The Big Eaters Vs The Kunoichi and Clash! Round Two Begins!

In match Five, Strawhats Nami and Brook fought their Crewmate Nico Robin and the Leaf Shinobi Kiba Inuzuka, but unfortunately for them, Kiba and Robin took the victory, kicking them out of the tournament. Later, in match number Six, the Sky Dragon Slayer and Fairy Tail Mage Wendy Marvell and the Leaf's Genius Neji Hyuuga battled Nine Tails Jinchuuriki and Hero of the Leaf, Naruto Uzumaki and the Strawhats cook and member of the Monster Trio, Sanji. The two powerful blondies won this epic battle, letting Wendy and Neji fall out of the competition. Now, the last match our round one, the tag battle round, will finally be fought. Who will win this time? Big eaters Chouji Akimich and Super Nova Rookie Strawhat Luffy or the two fierceless Konoha Kunoichi Tenten and Hinata Hyuuga?
"Alright, now that's everone's been patched up, let's begin the last match of round one." Shikamaru began. "Will the last participants please step forward?" he asked and Luffy, Chouji, Hinata and Tenten walked up to the middle of the grassy (but not so grassy anymore) training field.
"Match Seven: Chouji Akimichi and Monkey D. Luffy Vs. Tenten and Hinata Hyuuga. Begin!" the Nara announced.
"Yes, finally I get to fight!" Luffy exclaimed. The boy then threw his arms backwards and his arm stretched, shocking everyone except for his crew.
"Oh my god! His arm stretches!" Ino yelled in astonishment.
"That's because he ate the Gomu Gomu no Mi: his body is made of rubber." Robin explained.
"So he ate a Devil Fruit, like you?" Gray asked.
"Yes, there are many kinds of Devil Fruit in the Grand Line. Chopper, for example, ate the Human Human Fruit. He used to be a normal reindeer, but the Devil Fruit turned him into a half-human, half-reindeer. And Brook ate the Revive Revive Fruit, thanks to which he can die once and come back to life again, which happened to him fifty years ago." The woman replied.
"Wow, interesting." Wendy joined in.
Robin chuckled "It is."
Luffy had stretched his arm far enough and launched his most famous attack. "Gomu Gomu no…Pistol!" he exclaimed and his arm shot forward, which Hinata and Tenten didn't see coming. Luffy hit Hinata straight in the stomach, sending her flying back a few metres.
"Hinata!" Tenten called out.
"I'm alright Tenten." The Hyuuga assured her friend and stood up again.
"Wow, not bad Luffy."
"Thanks Chouri!"
"IT'S CHOUJI!"
'Alright, now they're distracted!' Tenten thought and made her move. She opened the large scroll and aimed it's inside at Luffy and Chouji as dosens of Kunai and Shuriken came out and flew towards its targets.
"Oh crap!" Chouji cursed and decided to do something very smart. "Spiky Human Boulder!" the chubby young man exclaimed and rolled straight towards Hinata and Tenten, through the Shuriken and Kunai-rain without being hurt.
"Oh no!" Tenten brought out, she was defenseless when she was holding that scroll and still summoning weapons.
Luckily for her, Hinata jumped in front of her. "Protective Eight Trigrams: 64 Palms!" she exclaimed and started forming a blue barrier around herself and stopped Chouji. (And also some weapons that came out of Tenten's scroll from behind her.)
"Segai~!" Luffy exclaimed, with stars in his eyes…again. But he soon snapped back out of his World of awesomness and took his chance.
Luffy bent through his knees and put one fis ton the ground. Blood pumped through his limbs and his skin changed to a red-pinkish colour, there was als osteam coming from his skin. He dissapeared in the blink of an eye and he suddenly stood behind Tenten, who was still defenseless.
"Gomu Gomu no….Jet Pistol!" he exclaimed and launched his attack, which you would miss if you only blinked. Tenten flew right over Hinata and Chouji's heads and landed a few metres away, already uncounscious.
Many were shocked beyond normal. "W-what was that j-just now?!" Kiba managed to bring out.
"I-I have no idea, I blinked and suddenly, Tenten flew through the air…" Ino responded.
"Wow, Luffy's fast!" Natsu said in shock.
"That's Luffy's Gear Second." Sanji started, taking his cigarette out of his mouth and breathing out smoke. Everyone who didn't know Luffy before today looked at the cook with the curly eyebrows. "He pumps the blood through his body with his rubber-powers, speeding up his heartbeat and making him much faster." The blonde man explained.
"Wow, that's amazing." Edward remarked, looking at the battlefield.
Hinata and Chouji stopped spinning, having noticed Tenten flying away.
"Wow that was amazing!" Chouji complimented his temporary battlepartner.
"Shishishishi, thanks Chouri!" the boy grinned. (He's still in Gear Second, so it probably looks really weird, acting so idiotic while looking so awesome at the same time xD)
"I TOLD YOU, IT'S CHOUJI!"
'I have to do something quickly' Hinata thought, still standing in between her two oponents.
The Hyuuga heiress quickly turned around, facing Luffy and hit him with the tips of her index and middle finger. Luffy's right arm went numb.
"Ouch, that hurts." Luffy simply said with a pout, making many people watching the fight sweatdrop.
Hinata struck again, this time hitting Luffy's other arm, which also went numb.
"Stop it, it's annoying!"
Chouji decided to make his move now that Hinata was distracted. "Partial Expantion Jutsu!" he shouted and the fist of his right arm grew much bigger. He punched Hinata from behind her and she flew away a few metres, Luffy was barely able to dodge the flying Hinata.
"Oi, be more carefu-" the boy started but then he saw Chouji's giant fist. "S-segai~!" he exclaimed with stars in his eyes.
The other Strawhats sweatdropped. "You can do that too, you idiot…" they said in sinc.
Hinata got up easily. She ran towards Luffy and Chouji again, but now she had blue lionheads made of chakra around her hands. She was using her Twin Lion Fist. She tried to hit Luffy, but he dodged easily, since he was still in his Gear Second. Next, the Hyuuga tried to hit Chouji, in which she did succeed. The Akimichi was forced back a metre because of the impact, but he still stood strong.
"That guy sure is tough." Franky said.
"Yes he is Franky-san." Brook agreed.
"Human Blouder!" Chouji shouted and rolled towards Hinata again.
The Hyuuga simply dodged it this time. Then, Luffy came from behind her. "Gomu Gomu no…. Jet Stamp!" he exclaimed and kicked Hinata with incredible speed, since he's still using Gear Second.
Luffy smirked.
"She won't get up after that." Nami said.
But, she did stand up again, shocking everyone. "I w-won't lose."
"Oooh, you sure are a tough one." Luffy commented.
Hinata started running towards Luffy and Chouji, using her Twin Lion Fists again. She managed to hit Chouji again. He was forced back further than last time, but he was still standing, even if it was just barely. Hinata tried to punch Luffy next, but he dodged easily. The rubber man appeared behind the kunoichi and kicked her again, but this time, she didn't get up.
Shikamaru went to check if Tenten and Hinata really were knocked out and they were. So Shikamaru raised his hand "The Winners of this battle are Chouji Akimichi and Monkey D. Luffy."
The others applauded. And this was finally the final match of the first round.
Luffy walked up to his battle partner, held out his hand and grinned. "You're really strong! It was an awesome fight!"
Chouji shook the rubber mans hand and smiled "It was, and you're a really strong fighter too!"
Hinata and Tenten were carried to the side of the field, so that Sakura and Ino could heal them and Chopper could bandage up their wounds.
Naruto pumped his fist into the air. "Alright, now it's time for round two!"he exclaimed, burining with excitement.
"Yeah, let's make the next matchups." Shikamaru agreed and wrote down the next people who have to face off. "Now the ones who fought together have to face eachother." The Nare continued. "So the matchups are the following:"
1. Ino Yamanaka (1) Vs. Roronoa Zoro. (2)
2. Usopp (5) Vs. Shino Aburame (6)
3. Edward Elric (11) Vs. Sai (12)
4. Natsu Dragneel (13) Vs. Shikamaru Nara (14)
5. Kiba Inuzuka (19) Vs. Nico Robin (20)
6. Naruto Uzumaki (23) Vs. Sanji (24)
7. Chouji Akimichi (25) Vs. Monkey D. Luffy (26)
"Interesting." Zoro said with a smirk. "Allies become enemies."
"Heheh, it sure is!" Natsu agreed, burning with enthousiasm.
"Let's begin right now!" Edward suggested loudly, full with excitement.
"Good idea." Shikamaru agreed. "The first match of round two is between Ino and Zoro. You ready?" the Nara asked named participants.
Zoro smirked. "Always."
"Yeah, I'm ready to go!" Ino agreed.
Everyone except Zoro, Ino and Shikamaru went back to stand at the side of the field. Zoro and Ino went to stand across from eachother.
"Alright, Round Two, Match One: Ino Yamanaka Vs. Roronoa Zoro. Begin!" Shikamaru announced.
"Let's finish this one quickly!" Ino said and formed a circle with her hands. "Ninja Art: Mind Transfer Jutsu!"
'Shit!' Zoro thought and quickly jumped aside, out of Ino's 'circle'.
Then, the swordsman rushed towards the Yamanaka with his three swords already in their rightful place. "Oni….Giri!" he exclaimed and in a matter of miliseconds, he had already cut Ino with the blunt side of his swords and Ino dropped to the ground uncounscious.
Everyone was shocked.
"Wow, that fight was finished very quickly!" Naruto pointed out the obvious.
"Well, Ino is not the type to fight alone…" Chouji added. "Once you know of her ability and you manage to dodge it, she isn't that hard to beat when she's alone, especially for someone like him."
"The winner of this battle is Roronoa Zoro and he advances to round three." Shikamaru announced.
Sakura went to check on Ino. "That must've hurt pretty badly, even with the blunt side of his swords." She muttered. 'Hahahahaha! She got beaten in less than a minute! Take that Ino-Pig!' Inner Sakura laughed.
With the help of Chouji, they got Ino to the sidelines to be patched up again.
"Alright, time for the next match." Shikamaru told the large group.
And that's it for this chapter! A bit short, but hey, I finished it quickly :D. And Round Two has begun! Lol, Ino beaten in less than a minute xD And Inner Sakura! Yay~! Everyone loves Inner Sakura! And Luffy kicks ass! Yeah! xD Now I'll finish the first chapter of Nakama, which is almost done :D And then the next chapter of The Tale of Naruto Uzumaki and then the I'll write two chappies of The Sparring Tournament :)
