Hello! I just wanted to say that I would greatly appreciate your forgiveness for I have been thrown into the passion that none can ever rival: reading!
Oops I didn't mean to get all weird, but anyway here is the next installment of 'Finding You'! ENJOY!
Rido Pov
"Damn it, she broke the link." I growled out angered.
I turned to my son his body half thrown half sitting beside the wall. A smile etched its way onto my face. "Senriā¦" I taunted "Get up."
His head snapped up but his face remained impassive. He began to get up, his form struggling to stand. He held the wall to steady himself. Senri's pathetic body had many bruises and cuts. He was bleeding more places than I cared to count, it was a waste of time after all. "Clean yourself up, we are leaving soon. When we arrive you may find your classmates, I don't need you, my dear niece is more than enough." I sneered.
"Lord Kaname will not allow this." He coughed out.
I whirled around, the windows to the shack I was currently in exploded as rage took over my senses. "You dare speak of that dog's name in my presence?!" I hissed at him.
How dare he! That scoundrel was a dirty dog. He was just like his father, stealing what should have been mine, what is mine! I hated them and this was nothing but proof that they needed to die, that he needed to die. I reached over and took Senri by his collar.
"If you want to live you will cease speaking of that theiverous scoundrel!" I hissed in his face. I dropped him onto the ground and kicked him in the stomach. He made no move for a moment.
"I'll be waiting outside." I turned and walked out the door.
"Yes, Father." he muttered.
I made my way outside taking in the foliage from the forested area we were in. A grin spread across my face once more.
'Soon my dear niece.' I thought.
Kaname Pov
I sat at my desk preparing for the upcoming battle. I had felt his presence just outside the academy walls for some time now. He had Senri with him and I couldn't fight back the slight pity I felt when I thought about the horrors Rido might be putting him through. I sighed.
I turned to look over to Yuuki. She was sitting on my couch reading one of the many books I had on my shelf. She was humming as she did so. At certain intervals of time she would laugh lightly at something. After a time of this I had to look at what she was reading.
I stood up from the chair and made my way to her. She giggled at a part and looked up at me. "Kaname, where did you ever get this book?" she asked giggling madly.
I raised a brow. "What is it?" I took the book from her outstretched hand. 'The Altar of Venus' was written in elegant script across the front. I frowned deeply and looked at her.
"I believe Takuma gave it to me as a birthday present. He thought it was a funny joke but I did not find it so amusing." I explained.
"But you kept it?" she asked confused.
I shook my head. "Actually I had thought I had thrown it out, but apparently Takuma had found it and put it back."
I hand it back to her as she laughed. She smiled at me. "You've never read it? It's rather raunchy if I do say so myself."
"Of course it is. If you read the first few chapters, anyone in their right mind would cease reading such a book." I say sitting next to her.
"I suppose I've gone mad then?" she asked a slight grin etched into her face.
"I sincerely believe we've already crossed that bridge Love." I tease.
"Of course but you followed along diligently, almost like a watch dog." her smile vanished. "Kaname, do you feel him. He has begun to move, should we alarm the others?" she asked her big eyes flashing with a hint of annoyance.
"No not yet, Yagari and the Headmaster have both felt it by now. We should allow Rido to enter the academy first." I say
"And the students? Have they all left yet?" She asked slightly worried.
I nodded. "I wouldn't allow them to be here during such a fight. It would be too dangerous for them and us."
She sighed in relief. "What about Yori? Did she go?"
I looked away. "She will not go."
"That's unacceptable." She said worried "What if she gets injured? I won't be there to protect her."
"Aidou has been tasked with the job of keeping an eye on her." I say taking her hand. "Do not worry. Just focus on your own fight. This is not something to brush off. If you're not careful you might die."
She sighed and nodded. "I know, but I can't help but to be worried about her. She's my best friend."
I nod and pull her close. "I know but Aidou will keep her safe."
There was a sudden, urgent knock on the door. I didn't even look up. "Come in." I say.
Rima entered her face blank. "Shiki is back. He is currently in his room. He told me to tell you."
I nodded at her. Yuuki looked at me as she stood up from her spot, the book long forgotten. "Good. You may all get into your places. Yuuki," I say looking at her,"Let the games begin."
She smiles at me picking up Artemis. "Indeed." she grabbed my hand and we left Rima following us out of the room.
"Rima you are to watch over Senri. He is not to leave his room until Rido has been dealt with, do you understand?" I asked.
"Yes Lord Kaname." she said before bowing and disappearing.
Yuuki and I followed the presence of one the biggest feats in our lives together and I inwardly shuddered at the thought of what she had to do.
Towards the school, we walked until we saw him. He sat beside the water fountain, just out of the reach of the school and the many Level E vampires that surrounded the area.
His mitch matched eyes gleamed as a sadistic grin etched itself onto his face. "My little flower, Yuuki, won't you come to me without a fuss?" he asked holding out his hand.
