smileysteph: OMG it means a lot that you read it! Your one of my favorite authors! Yeah, I'm leaving soon but not after this book there's still a few other things I want to do. But you know personal reasons there's nothing wrong with me or my family just work and school wise. Although people will still be able to message me even though I won't be writing anymore. And don't think I'll be leaving without finishing "Read Between the Lines" and "Maid of Horror" ;)

Chapter 12:

Austin and Ally both got out of the car with Dez and Trish following behind. Ally grabbed Austin hand and he smiled down at it and looked back to her. "Remember what I said. If we want to be a couple we need to act like one", she said.

"Right." He smiled to himself liking the feeling of Ally's tiny hand in his. He wondered what would happen if after all of this they could just tell her how he really feels and then all of this wouldn't have to be an act. Austin saw a few flashes out of the corner of his eye as he entered the place with Ally. It was a little diner. That's where Megan Simms asked to meet up.

Ally turned around to look at Trish and Dez from all the giggling she was hearing, but once she turned her head they pretended to be talking about something else. She looked over at Austin and he seemed to be thinking about something else, but she couldn't read his face. Maybe Austin wasn't in on everything that was going on.

The giggles started to get on her nerves and she wondered if Trish and Dez had a thing for each other. They've been done this rode before and it turned out that Dez and Trish weren't dating at all. But this time was different. They seemed to do a lot of talking, and although Ally didn't get any hints from Trish that she had a boyfriend, maybe Dez was the one with the crush.

Austin led her over to the table with a little girl dressed it bright colors, a sparkly headband, silly-bands going up her arm, a camera around her neck, and a giant smile plastered on her face. No doubt this was Megan Simms. "Ally Dawsin! You are so awesome! I can't believe I finally get to meet you", she said pushing Austin out of the way and hugging her and snapping a quick photo.

"Thanks so much." Ally smiled at her as they all sat in the booth, she sat next to Austin and they were across from Megan. "So let's get right down to it", she said.

"Umm, where are we going to sit", Trish asked.

"Oh you two aren't really important at the moment", Megan told Trish with confidence.

"I'm Austin's manager", Trish said turning her sass on while Ally shoke her head violently trying to give Trish a message.

"Well...like I said. You're client Austin Moon is in good hands. I'm just going to ask him some questions along with his so-called girlfriend-"

"So-called", Ally grumbled.

"And then you all can be on our way", Megan finished ignoring Ally's comment.

"Trish...Just go", Austin said feeling uneasy. She rolled her eyes and walked away and Dez stood in his spot for a minute before quickly running off behind Trish. "Now that that's done..." Megan snapped another picture of the pair. "Why don't we start."

"You're really good at catching people off guard with that camera of yours", Ally said rubbing her eye.

"Yupp it's my thing", Megan replied making another flash go off. Ally and Austin had to blink a few times before they could come back to Megan. "Okay guys. So I look for the truth and only the truth. So Ally...Austin...if there's anything you want to tell me before you get yourself into this interview. I promise I won't hold it against you."

Ally looked guitingly into Austin's eyes and he nodded his head at her. He wanted to go through with this. Couldn't she see it was to protect her in the first place? Ally looked over at Megan with an unconvicing smile. Megan crossed her arms and locked eyes with Austin. She starred into them waiting for a response. "Nope. Just that we want to be with each other for a really long time", he said wrapping his arm around her.

Austin nervously laughed and a smile returned to Megan's lips. "Well I guess there's no lying going on around here. So who wants to tell the story first about what happened to Ally." Austin and Ally smiled for real this time. They couldn't believe that Megan actually dropped the whole "I don't believe you two are really dating" thing that quick. Ally thought it was going to take a whole lot more than that.

"Well it all started when I was on my shift at Sonic Boom. A store my dad owns..." Austin starred at Ally and just smiled to himself. He got lost in her words and soon enough he couldn't hear anything. He really did like Ally, and he didn't know why it took him so long to figure it out. Ally looked over at Austin laughing with Megan giving him and "what" look.

He just brushed it off and started telling Megan his side of the story. Ally started to over-think it again. Before she knew it Megan was saying, "I think I got all I needed. That was really good guys. Look for it in next months issue. So excited about it. I hope the editor puts it on the cover. There's no doubt that you two clearly have a thing for each other."

Ally blushed and looked over at Austin again catching him starring at her again, Why does he keep starring at me? She couldn't believe his little plan worked. Hopefully they can fake break-up soon because she didn't no how long they could keep up. The press lying was normal but her lying to the press. She thought she couldn't play it off.

"So I know this might be too much to ask but could you guys just give the camera a kiss or flirting or something", Megan said. When she said the word "kiss" Austin looked like he was ready to jump out of his skin. They both looked at each other at the same time both feeling nervous as to what to do. Ally felt the blood rush to her cheeks again as she got lost in Austin's eyes.

It wouldn't be that hard to pretend to be his girlfriend. Austin was an amazing guy and even though he was goofy and crazy and childish sometimes, that's what I like most about him. I actually wouldn't mind being his girlfriend. What am I saying!? She didn't notice Austin leaning in. But when she did she was surprised that she didn't pull away or make any sudden movements.

Megan was gushing readying the camera at them. Austin was just going to give Ally a quick peck on the cheek and Megan could see that he was going to do that too. But Ally's eyes darkened and she grabbed Austin's face kissing him on the mouth. Austin was surprised at first and so was Megan, but she snapped away. Austin closed his eyes and enjoyed the sweet small kiss.

Ally pulled away her hands still in the air in shock on the courage that just leaped into her. Megan got out of her seat and forcably shook hands with Ally and hugged Austin from behind. "Great seeing you guys." She left the place but Ally was still starring into space not aware of what was happening around her. Austin was starring at her trying to read her thoughts on what just happened.

They both snapped back into reality when Trish and Dez sat slid into the booth. "That took shorter than I thought it would", Dez said.

"Yeah. Hey...are you too okay? What did Megan say? Did she believe you guys", Trish asked. Ally didn't even look at Austin she just nodded her head at Trish sliently and Austin gave a fake smile. "Okay...Well what did happen", she asked.

"Nothing", Austin and Ally both said at the same time. "I mean...what she means...what we mean is...She just asked us what happened snap some pictures and left", Austin told Trish. Well he wasn't lying...that did happen. He just forgot to leave out one important detail. Ally was silent starring at her fingers trying not to make eye contact with Trish.

"Well since we're here, we should get something to eat here", Dez said calling over a waitor.

"Umm...I've got homework to do guys", Ally said grabbing her bag and pushing past Austin and storming out. Austin watched her leave wishing she hadn't. Did she not want the kiss to happen. "Suit yourself", Trish said.

"More food for us", Dez said as the waitor handed them three menus. Austin took the menu but he couldn't get Ally out of his head and it showed in his face. "Dude what are you thinking about", Dez asked.

"Ally."

"Aww. How cute", Trish said. "That reminds me! Dez you've got a lot of explaing to do with what I found in Ally's room", she said grabbing her bag and putting it on the table. WIth this kiss thing Austin almost forgot about it. He seriously was dying on the inside wanting to know what it was that she found. "Take a look boys", she said glarring at Dez.

Austina and Dez both leaned over to look in the bag with curious looks on their faces. Dez saw a pair of green boxers and instantly remembered. His eyes bugged out realizing what it made it look like. He looked up to see hurt then anger flow through his face. "Austin I swear it's not what it looks like", he said.

"You know what I think it looks like. I think I'm going to kill you Dez", he said getting up from his chair. She didn't expect them to react this way. She looked at them with surprise as Dez got up from his seat and ran away. Austin angrily chased after him. What was he going to do? He wasn't going to hit his best friend? Was he? She got up and looked down the hall to see Austin and Dez running a muck.

Dez, trying to get away from Austin, bumped into a waitress making her knock down dirty dishes but thankfully they didn't break. Austin nearly tripped on the food still trying to run after him. He almost got a hold of Dez but he climbed until a table and ran across. Austin made his way back over to Dez. "QUIT IT", Trish shouted very loud.

They both stopped running and the whole diner turned their attention to Trish. She made her way over to boys and grabbed them by their ears looking at them. Dez had stains all over his shirt and Austin's sneakers were ruinned. She dragged them back over to the booth and sat them down in sitting across from each other.

"Ouch", Austin said once she let go.

"Well that's what you get for chasing him around here. What were you going to do? Hit your best friend", she said.

"Yeah", Dez said and Austin glarred at him.

She rolled her eyes, "I can handle this Dez."

"Yes. No. I don't know", Austin said as his mood returned to normal.

"Well anyways. Dez. Why don't you explain to us why I found those in Ally's room. Since I'm assuming you probably know since they have your name on it and you ran from Austin like that", she said still standing in front of the booth crossing her arms.

"Well, to clear up a few things. They do belong to me", Dez told them. Austin got angry again and reached over to the table to grab Dez but Trish slapped his hands away. "Austin! You're acting crazy!"

"It's Ally! She's making my emotions go nuts", he said.

"Are you guys ready to order", the waitor said coming back.

"We're going to need a little more time", Trish said starring at the boys. They both had their arms folding glarring at the bag. "Or a lot of time." The waitor walked away and Trish let out a deep breath. Who knew hooking Austin and Ally up was going to be so much work.

Auslly Talk Time: WHEN IS THE NEXT EPISODE COMING OUT I WANT MORE FREAKING AUSLLY. Although I thought it was cute when Austin bought those slippers for her like Cinderella and had to carry her everywhere but that Auslly moment is good enough! I want more! I'm still hurting that they broke up. I watched a recap on YouTube and I don't know if anyone notices the hurt on Austin's face when Ally says she wants to be just friends. Damn Ross is a good actor...Or is it just the Raura is real... ;) I know you guys exist out there. Trust me I know Raura shippers.
