Rhaenyra casually walks around the keep in Sunspear. She received a note from Oberyn telling her to meet him in the keep by the ruins of an old building. Ellaria helped pick out her gown earlier in her chambers. They had spent the night together as lovers while Oberyn was preoccupied with his brother.
She walked down to the garden. She noticed how green everything was and it was very beautiful. Casterly Rock was dull and rarely bloom any flowers. And if they did they only lasted a short amount of time. It seemed the sun favored Dorne more. She walked through the mossy covered passageway that led deeper into the garden. She noticed something blue on the tree. She turned to her right and saw dozens of blue butterflies huddled on the tree. Rhaenyra gleamed with joy as she witnessed this. She rarely saw butterflies and for them to be this odd color was truly amazing. She wished she could share this moment with someone. She watched in awe as some butterflies flew off the tree and made its way towards the fountain that was a few steps ahead. The fountain was huge and made of stone in the center of a huge design with trees covered in leaves. She heard the birds chirping the morning away as she continued walking through the maze of wonders.
Rhaenyra walked past the fountain as she followed the stones leading her further into garden. She was amazed of how huge the garden was. The air was humid and the trees didn't help much with the breeze. As she noticed the ruins ahead of her, she smiled of how beautiful they were. The stones led up to small steps. It was slightly covered in bamboo with stairs leading up into it. She spotted Oberyn standing there waiting patiently with a yellow flower in his hand.
"My lady." He greeted her as she stood in front of him.
She giggled and smiled at him. "My Prince." She said.
Prince Oberyn handed her the yellow rose. "A gift for meeting me this early." He stated.
"Well I was a bit surprised that you wanted to meet this early considering you hate being bothered in the mornings." She said.
He grabbed her hand and pulled her into his chest. "Not always love, I do always love the way you wake me up." he smirked. Rhaenyra breathed deeply and wrapped her arms around his neck. "Oh you mean when I use my tongue." She whispered seductively to him.
He groaned and leaned down and captured her lips. Rhaenyra pulled back. "No kisses until you give me a good reason why you wanted me down here at dawn. I had a long night last night." She stated and looked around the ruins.
He chuckled. "I hope it was with Ellaria and not another man." He said as he watched her move.
She laughed and turned to face him. "What would you do?" she questioned him.
Oberyn chuckled and decided not to answer her question. He kept thinking if he was going to tell her or not. "Come on. I want to show you something." He said and grabbed her hand and led her inside of the ruins. He led her up the stairs to the top where it was suppose a small covered dome at one point.
"What is this place?" she asked.
"This was an old small Sept hundreds of years ago. They say Mors Martell married Princess Nymeria here. Two fierce beings united as one conquering all of Dorne together. Beautiful if you think about it. How much history is in Dorne and this whole entire world? We spend so much reading about our history instead of indulging in it." Oberyn said as he looked at her.
Rhaenyra remembers the story of how Nymeria rode over with ten thousand ships and how she defeated six Dornish Kings to join the Night's Watch. Nymeria was her idol along with her family's history. "I know the story well, but that still doesn't explain why you have me here giving me a lesson." She stated.
Oberyn smiled. "I thought we could indulge from prying eyes including Ellaria's and have a nice breakfast together in a beautiful place with exotic company." He stated.
Rhaenyra blushed. "Well it is a thoughtful gesture. I love it so far." She said and leaned up to kiss him on the cheek. He nodded. "Good, now let's set everything up." he said as he walked over to the corner and grabbed a sheet and laid it on the floor. He grabbed his basket of food and started to place everything in its rightful spot.
"This is simply amazing Oberyn. It's so peaceful out here." She said as she bit into a strawberry.
Oberyn licked his lips. "Yes I usually come out here for a stroll or to write. It depends on my mood." He said
Rhaenyra know she was going to have to tell him how she feels. She was afraid of his reaction and look at her like a foolish girl. Oberyn watched her get lost in her thoughts. "What's bothering you?" he asked as he swallowed his wine.
"I might have to leave soon." Rhaenyra said softly.
"And go where? Back to your grandfather?" he asked her.
She shook her head. "No. I don't know when I will see them again but I'm going over to the free cities. There is something I have to take care of over there." She stated.
"What's that?" he asked seriously.
"My aunt Daenerys, we have discussed the possibility of meeting. I should be hearing from her soon though." She said.
"I see and when were you going to tell me?" he asked.
She shrugged. "Soon. I wasn't going to leave in the middle of the night. I would never do that to you." She said.
"And why is that?" he asked.
Rhaenyra bit her lip. "I can't describe the way I feel about you. I care deeply for you and it scares me. I realized that you may not want anything from me and I know you will not fight for me." she started as Oberyn interrupted her.
"What makes you say that?" he questioned her as he moved closer to her. Rhaenyra looked into his eyes. "You said it countless times. You told me when it comes to war you fight for Dorne, when it comes to love, you don't pick sides. My loyalty is with me or anyone I find as a friend or alliance. I believe in loyalty it's the only thing that remains the same. People will test you loyalty and if they are trustworthy and loyal to you then there would be no problems. Love can be tested and at times it just isn't enough. We shouldn't even be involved in the first place." She stated.
"That's what you truly believe? That Love can't remain the same? I have loved and lost some people in my life and that remains in my heart. Life is all about finding who you are and make mistakes. It's okay to admit them. Loyalty and alliances can be bought and shifted. Love can never be bought." He said as he chuckled. "You know you're right. We shouldn't be involved but too late. We are and I'm not ready to let you go just yet. It scares me at times too because every time you leave me I fear you will never come back. I'm falling for you. I care for you so much that I even left my paramour countless nights just to be with you. What man would do that?" he asked as he stood up and grabbed her arms to pull her up and into his arms.
Rhaenyra looked into his deep brown eyes. "I don't know." She said.
"I love you Rhaenyra. My heart belongs to you and I know you have trust issues. You need to understand I am nothing like the people who lied to you. I am always honest with you and to everyone I know. You cannot believe in the time we have spent together, you have opened up. You aren't the arrogant girl I first met. You are so much more than that. You have another side to you, a softer side but still a warrior. A beautiful woman who isn't afraid to let her guard down. I need that woman right now before we leave today." He said.
Rhaenyra sighed and let a tear roll down her cheek. "I think I love you. I've never loved before so I don't know how I feel but I don't think I can't not be around you. I need you Oberyn. For the first time I actually need someone and that's you. You have been here listening and hearing me cry. You know my pain. You know everything about me. I don't have to hide or pretend around you. I'm just myself. Please wait for me. I will always come back to you." She said.
Oberyn understood her. He grabbed her cheek and wiped away her tear. He pulled her closer and kissed her lips. She returned the kiss eagerly and wrapped one hand in his hair and the other around his waist. Oberyn pulled back and pecked her lips. "Lie down." He commanded.
Rhaenyra lay down on the sheet with her knees open as Oberyn lay in between her waiting thighs. He kissed her lips and licked her bottom lip as his hand caressed her breast. She opened her mouth and deepened the kiss. She entangled her hands in his hair and tugged at it. Oberyn groaned and grinded against her core. She gasped and wrapped her legs around his waist. He let his hands lift her dress up to her waist as Rhaenyra arched her back.
"Take off the dress." Rhaenyra whispered.
Oberyn unlaced her dress and slid it down from her body slowly. He gently placed kisses along her collarbone making Rhaenyra whimper. He let his hand glide in between their bodies using his nails to gently scrape along her side and lower stomach. Rhaenyra moaned and arched into his hand. "Oberyn." She moaned.
Oberyn chuckled as he nipped the valley of her breasts. He slipped his fingers inside of her making her groan and beg for more. He thrust his fingers into a slow teasing manner hearing her moan his name. He knew she was ready for him. He hurried and took off his clothing and placed himself at her entrance. "Look at me." he said.
Rhaenyra opened her eyes and grabbed his shoulder when he entered her. She moaned feeling him move inside of her as he grabbed her waist angling her hips making him slide deeper. Rhaenyra dug her nails into his shoulders never breaking eye contact with him. He groaned and thrust into her harder hitting that right spot making Rhaenyra moan louder. He felt her tighten around him and he knew she was close. He moved his hand in between them and rubbed her making her drag her nails down his back pulling him close as she unraveled around him. Oberyn continued thrusting not being close to being finished as Rhaenyra rode out her high. Oberyn leaned down and kissed her deeply as he grabbed her waist and sat up with her. Rhaenyra tried to catch her breath as Oberyn thrusted into her. Rhaenyra moved her hips meeting his thrusts making him go deeper. Oberyn gripped her hips tight and guided her movements. Rhaenyra locked her arms around his shoulders and kissed his neck. Oberyn groaned and moved faster within her. Rhaenyra felt the coil build up again as she arched into him. She locked her eyes with him as she was close. "I love you." She moaned and leaned forward and bit his shoulder as she came again holding him tighter and moving her hips slowly. Oberyn kissed her lips and wrapped his arms around her back while he held her as he spilled inside of her. He leaned into her neck and kissed her sweaty skin. "I love you too." He said.
Rhaenyra looked at him and brushed some of his sweaty hair back from his forehead and chuckled. "That was amazing." She said.
Oberyn kissed her swollen lips. "I thought I was always amazing. Are you telling me I wasn't pleasing you before?" he joked.
"You have but this felt so different." She moaned as he slipped out of her and leaned over to pour them both some wine. He handed her the cup. Rhaenyra gulped her wine down. "Thank you." She said as she looked around. "Hand me my dress before someone comes." She stated.
Oberyn chuckled. "You weren't worried about that before." He stated.
"Well now I am. Everyone might be up by now and I don't want to risk anything. People can't know that I'm not pure." Rhaenyra stated seriously as she slide into her dress.
"Not pure? People don't care in Dorne." Oberyn said.
"I know that but if word gets out to anyone especially to my family, then I would be ruined. I don't need that right now." she said and kissed his lips. Oberyn kissed her back and pulled her down with him. "I wasn't done yet." He said and kissed her neck. Rhaenyra groaned and pushed him off. I have to check on my dragons and see if Daenerys sent me a letter." She said and stood up again.
Oberyn smacked her ass as she walked by. "Fine. You are a very busy woman today. I will see you later then." He said in a questioning voice.
She nodded and kissed him again. "I'll see you soon." She said and walked away from him exiting the garden.

Daenerys walked into her tent as she was on the outskirts of Yunkai. She sent one of her men to discuss her terms concerning the fate of Yunkai. She was alone in her tent as she pulled out her obsidian candles. She lit them up and envisioned her niece. She held onto the last letter she received from her as she spoke Valyrian.
"Daenerys." The voice questioned.
Dany nodded and laughed. "Rhaenyra? It worked." She said as she looked in the flame.
"That it did. I always knew it worked. I'm so glad to hear your voice." She said.
"I don't have much time but I would like you to come to Yunkai soon. I will be here for a few days so whenever you are ready you can come here." Daenerys stated.
"Okay I will be there in a few hours. I'm sure I know where the tent is." Rhaenyra said as she began to pack her things.
"I will remind my men not to harm you when you come. That I promise you. I'll see you soon." Daenerys stated and blew out her candles.
"Khalessi." Ser Jorah said as he entered the tent with Ser Barristan.
"My trusted advisors. I have good news, my niece will be in a few hours." She said as she faced them.
"That is good news Your Grace; we have received word that someone will be coming to us from Yunkai to make negotiations." Ser Barristan said.
"Good, now excuse me while I tell my army not to harm Rhaenyra." She said and walked out of her tent. She spotted Greyworm and she called him over. "Greyworm, my niece will arrive. No harm shall come to her." she said. He nodded and left to tell his men. Dany walked back to her tent and sat down waiting for the mysterious man to come for negotiations.
