Rhaenyra Lannister arrived at the Twins shortly after the sun set. She was supposed to meet Roose Bolton here and she was nervous since she still didn't trust him. She knew she would be searched for weapons so she kept her daggers under her dress. She hoped they wouldn't dare to touch her there. She walked towards the gates of the Twins and spotted Roose Bolton and his men stepping off their horses.
"I hope you were planning on waiting for me to arrive." Rhaenyra stated as she walked near Roose Bolton.
Roose Bolton smirked when he heard her voice and turned to face her. "I was my Lady, and can I say you look beautiful as always." He stated and grabbed her hand and kissed her knuckles.
Rhaenyra sighed and rolled her eyes. "I see if you have started to drink before the ceremony." She started as she got closer to him so her chest rubbed up against his. She leaned in his ear. "Be careful, you're pushing your boundaries tonight. If you change your mind about our whole plan, I'll make sure you won't leave out of this castle in one piece. Do you understand me?" she finished and leaned away from him.
He nodded. "You should know my lady, I do not drink. It dulls the senses." He stated.
"Good. Shall we head in now?" She asked. He held out his elbow for her to take. She linked her arm with his and the doors opened and they were led inside where the Starks were.
In the gloomy halls of the Twins, Robb Stark entered the dining hall with Arya by his side. He looked down at his younger sister as he noticed she didn't want to be here. He felt the same way but this was the only way for everyone to stay alive. Duty and Honor was very important to their family and he was there to make sure he ensures it.
Walder Frey watched the wolves walk into his home. He glanced at the young wolf or 'King of the North' now and smirked. "It's a pleasure to be in your presence your Grace." Walder Frey mocked.
Robb gave a small smile. "I told you I would." He stated and discreetly pulled Arya closer to him as he watched Walder's eyes wander to her. "Ah the wild one. I'm sure one of my sons will be able to tame her." he smirked.
Robb clenched his fists by his side trying not to let his anger be known but Arya couldn't. Robb grabbed her hand as she looked up at him. He gave her a stern look telling her to keep her mouth shut. She sighed and bit her tongue.
"Lord Bolton and the Lady Lannister." An announcer yelled before Rhaenyra and Roose both walked in together. Robb looked over at the odd couple and raised his eyebrows. He didn't understand why they came together.
"Well if it isn't the Lannister Phantom, Westeros has talked about for years. Such a pretty face to be wasted at Casterly Rock." Walder Frey said as his eyes wandered on Rhaenyra's figure.
"I'm here now as a guest since Lord Bolton was kind enough to invite me. This is a special occasion and I wanted to share my gratitude." Rhaenyra stated.
Walder Frey huffed and smirked. "Of course." He said as he looked at his men still by the door. "Bring in my lovely daughters and granddaughters." He commanded as he looked at Rhaenyra again. He was excited that she was here at the Twins. After the deal he made with Tywin Lannister he knew all he needed was Rhaenyra Lannister to fulfill her family's duties. She was ruthless and he knew she was perfect for this celebration.
The doors opened as the girls came in a single line, then they split off into two lines parallel to where Walder Frey was seated. He started naming all of the girls' names one by one until he mixed up the names and stumbled on them. Rhaenyra smirked and bit her lip as she looked over at Arya. She felt sympanthy towards her. Rhaenyra looked over the whole dining hall examining the room; she smiled when she figured it out.
"Your Grace, perhaps you can choose your own bride now so that we may have a feast tonight to celebrate. Surely Lady Lannister would love to freshen up from such a long journey." Walder Frey suggested.
Robb nodded and stepped forward examining the girls. "I wish to apologize to you ladies for not coming sooner. This war has distracted me of my rightful duties and I am truly sorry. I cannot promise to my future bride that I would not give them my fullest attention while the war continues but I hope you can forgive me. But once I win this war, we will return home and rule the North together." He stated.
Just as Robb was about to make his final decision for his bride, Walder Frey stopped him. "Wait a minute; I seem to have forgotten another daughter Your Grace. Perhaps you can see her tonight at the feast before you make your decision." He smirked as he dismissed his girls.
"Now Lord Bolton, why have you not let Lady Lannister from your sight?" he asked.
Rhaenyra looked at Lord Bolton and back at Walder Frey. "My Lord, I'm surprised you haven't heard. Roose here." She started as she rubbed her right hand on Bolton's chest and caressed his chin and Roose looked down at her. "Proposed a fortnight ago." She said as she smiled.
"Apparently my grandfather wanted some part of the North since he couldn't make a match between Robb and myself." Rhaenyra explained.
Walder Frey chuckled. "I see, my lady. But I feel sorry for you." He said.
"And why is that?" she asked.
"Because, even with a beautiful woman on his arm, there is that grim expression still on his face. It seems a man like him will never be able to feel anything towards a beautiful lady as yourself." Walder Frey said.
Bolton tightened his grip around Rhaenyra's arm. Walder Frey noticed he got under Roose Bolton's skin and laughed. "I'm just pulling your leg. Lighten up will ya. We will be celebrating two engagements tonight." Walder Frey said as he stood up and dismissed himself. He left the room as the four of them were left.
Robb walked over to Rhaenyra and Roose. "What are you doing here?" he questioned them.
"Your Grace, I am one of your men, I should be here." Roose Bolton stated.
"I came along because like I told you Robb and Arya, I am here to protect you guys. I still don't trust that old man and I needed an excuse to be here." Rhaenyra stated.
"Are you really getting married?" Arya asked.
Rhaenyra chuckled and pulled Arya into a side hug. "Never. Especially not to him. It was a cover up. And Walder Frey believed it." she said.
"Arya how about we go get ready for tonight as your brother gets ready with Lord Bolton." Rhaenyra suggested.
Arya nodded and followed Rhaenyra towards the guest chambers.

Catelyn Stark was preparing her things as she kept thinking about how she was supposed to slip away from everyone. She feared for her daughter and her son to be alone with Walder Frey. She knew that the Frey's knew about Robb's indiscretions and she knew they were unforgiving people. If she had any power she would never let Arya marry those kinds of men. Her daughter was still too young for marriage just like Sansa. They would never be spared when it came to war and violence. Catelyn sat on her bed and thought about the last conversation she had with her son.
Flashback
Catelyn stark entered her son's chambers in her childhood home. Robb was seated on the edge of his bed as he noticed his mother's grim expression. She slightly bowed at him. Robb nodded and told her to shut the door. She walked closer to her son as she noticed he was troubled.
"What is it?" she asked.
Robb looked at her with glossy eyes. "I need you to do me a favor." He said as he paused. "I need you to get Talisa and yourself away from here as soon as possible." He stated.
"Why do we need to leave?" she questioned him.
"I fear for her life as well as my child's. Especially for you. If the Frey's knew about this information they will turn against us and kill us all. I cannot have any of this." Robb confessed.
"What do I tell people as to why I am leaving with just a healer? Surely someone will ask questions that may raise suspicions. We both know how this will play out and I don't expect that they will just let us go easily. How can I protect myself and her life? I need some men Robb!" she stated angrily.
"I will only spare one man, and that is all. Small crowds don't draw attention; they will simply be on their merry way. I only ask this because I know you are the only person that can protect her. Please, don't do this for me but for the sake of your grandchild." Robb said and grabbed her hand.
Catelyn squeezed her son's hand. "I will do my best, but that child will never bear your name." she stated.
Robb gritted his teeth. "I know." He said.
End flashback
Just then Talisa walked into her tent. She slightly bowed. "My Lady, I heard you needed me. Are you well?" she asked.
Catelyn nodded. "Yes. I just needed to talk to you without an audience." She stated. Talisa nodded and sat in a chair. "I know about you and my son. I'm not here to judge you but I have orders to leave here and take you to a safe place. We must flee tonight and no one can know where we are heading for the sake of our lives and my grandchild's." Catelyn said.
Talisa gasped a little considering she didn't think anyone knew about her child. The only person she told was Robb. Catelyn gave her a small smile. "I know, Robb told me but I already noticed how your body began to change. I had a feeling before my son told me." Catelyn responded.

Rhaenyra was finishing up getting ready as she fixed the last strand of her hair into a bun as Arya watched her movement. "Why do we have to wear these dresses anyways?" she asked as she pulled at the sleeves of her dress.
Rhaenyra chuckled. "Because it is expected of us." She simply responded. Arya growled a little as Rhaenyra fixed her short length hair. "There, that looks a bit better." She said as she dragged Arya towards the mirror. "You look beautiful." Rhaenyra said with a smile.
"I don't want to be beautiful; I want to be a warrior." Arya said.
"Warriors can be both beautiful and skilled. Now let's go down to the feast before they come to look for us." Rhaenyra said.
Arya sighed and followed Rhaenyra out of the room. They walked down the hall towards the stairs with multiple Frey escorts. Rhaenyra wasn't happy about this. There were five escorts with her and no telling how many were in the castle alone. She paused on the steps and turned to face them. "Now I am curious to know why I have so many escorts. I thought this was a friendly dinner. If I didn't know any better I would say I've done something to make this hostile." She said.
The Frey escorts looked at one another before one answered. "No my lady, it's just precautions. You are a Lannister and we have the most respect for you. We just want to make sure nothing will happen." He said.
Rhaenyra smirked. "Sure, perhaps you men can keep a good distance from us. I can feel you breathing down my neck." She stated and turned around and grabbed Arya's hand and continued to walk down the stairs.

Robb was already ready and waiting in the dining hall with his men including Roose Bolton and Walder Frey. The hall was lit up with many candles and filled with musicians. Not many of Walder Frey's daughters were present in the room. Robb noticed a pretty face that he did not see earlier. Walder Frey noticed the exchange and smirked. He had Robb Stark in the palm of his hands. His plans were working and he was ready for his payment from Lord Tywin himself.
Walder Frey was tempted to write to Lord Tywin about Rhaenyra's presence but he decided against it. He didn't want all the credit to go to that Lannister Bitch. He wanted to be known to take out the Wolf of the North. Walder Frey looked around the room and noticed the ladies were still not down for the feast and it concerned him. He spotted Roose Bolton and decided to ask him about his beloved fiancé.
"Lord Bolton." He called out. The music faded away and Roose Bolton looked towards him.
"Where is that lovely fiancé of yours? It seems she is late at her own feast. Remember we are celebrating three engagements tonight." He spoke.
"I am sure she is finishing getting ready. The thing about Rhaenyra is, she does things on her own time. There's no use to try and change her routine." Roose Bolton replied.
"Humph." Walder Frey replied as he looked towards the doors as they opened for the last time for that night revealing Rhaenyra and Arya. "Here are the lovely ladies of the hour. I was beginning to wonder if you would even show up. The feast has already begun and I thought I was going to wither away waiting for you." He stated.
"I'm sure Lord Frey you wouldn't have withered away; you would have turned to ash. But I had to stop for a moment considered I had multiple escorts which I didn't appreciate." Rhaenyra stated.
"Are you refusing my hospitality?" he questioned her.
"No but I appreciate if your men weren't so close to me, I am a lady; a betrothed one at that. So therefore only my future husband can be that close to me." she replied as she played her role. Walder Frey didn't reply back to her. His men were supposed to be discreet but instead they were ruining everything. He signaled the musicians to play music as the men carried on and enjoyed the wine.
Rhaenyra sat down at the nearest table and poured herself some wine. She looked down at her silver ring with the design of a dragon, which Oberyn gave her and she slightly smiled. She looked around the room especially for Arya and Walder Frey to see what they were up to. Arya looked miserable and Rhaenyra knew everything was coming to an end. Walder Frey was too entranced by Robb Stark and his daughter to even notice the fresh jar of wine that was placed on his table. He poured some more wine in his cup and gulped it down.
Flashback
Rhaenyra waited until Arya was bathing as she snuck downstairs into the kitchen to investigate. She noticed no one was in the kitchen at the time, so she hurried into the room. She looked around for wine barrels and glanced back at the opening of the room to make sure no one was there. She opened the small opening at the top and reached under her dress for a small bag containing vials of Arsenic. She recently discovered this poison while she was with Oberyn. He showed her a couple of other poisons she's never heard of and in return she showed him Valyrian poisons.
Rhaenyra poured the vials into the red wine. She knew this poison will work well considering it would be impossible to detect it. She loved the art of surprise. She moved the barrel slightly to mix it all and placed the cap back on the opening. She placed the empty vials back under her dress and smirked.
"What are you doing?" a kitchen maid asked. Rhaenyra quickly turned around and smiled.
"I was waiting on you or someone who works in the kitchen to ask you about the wine." She stated and walked closer to the kitchen maid. "It seems that the Starks and I only drink Dornish wine. I love the sweetness. We will not accept any other wine." Rhaenyra continued to say.
"We only have a bit left my Lady; Lord Tywin sent it earlier in the day. But that barrel over there." She said as she pointed to the barrel Rhaenyra tampered with. "Is Arbor Gold wine. It is Lord Frey's favorite." She said.
"Well make sure you get everything perfect tonight. Oh one more thing, no wine for my betrothed, Lord Bolton. Thank you again." Rhaenyra said and left the kitchen and headed back to her chambers.
End Flashback
Rhaenyra smirked when more of his men were drinking the wine. She sipped on her Dornish wine as she leaned up to Roose's ear. "Are you ready?" she asked. He slightly nodded and noticed that she was smirking. He never understood what was running through her mind. But he looked around the room and spotted Robb talking to Arya about something. Just then it felt like the air shifted. The musicians started to play 'Rains of Castamere'. Rhaenyra shifted a bit knowing it was only to be played when death would be the outcome. She noticed that the Frey's daughters were clearing the room as more men entered the dining hall. They stood by the door they recently closed and barricaded.

Catelyn and Talisa rode hard through the woods. Catelyn didn't know where to take her if things ended badly but she trusted her son and she would do anything for family. All she knew was to get far away from the Twins quickly as possible. Talisa was feeling a tad uncomfortable for riding too hard that she slowed her pace. Catelyn noticed this and slowed down as well.
"We must keep riding." Catelyn stated.
"I know but it's beginning to get uncomfortable. Can't we rest for a minute?" Talisa asked.
Catelyn sighed and nodded. Her men were near them so they were protected. "I almost forget that you are with child." She said to Talisa.
Talisa gave her a small smile. "It's okay." She said.
The Stark men were looking cautiously around the surrounded woods making sure nothing will go wrong or make sure they were not followed. One of them spotted a black shadow moving in by the trees. He pulled out his sword and turned to Catelyn. "My Lady..." he said as an arrow pierced through his neck as he choked on his blood and fell to the ground. The other men took out their swords but they were no match against the flying arrows.
I try to face the fight within, but it's over
I'm ready for the riot to begin and surrender
Catelyn grabbed Talisa and helped her on the horse. Catelyn ran to hers and jumped on hers. They both rode together out of the area. Catelyn heard more hooves on the ground and knew they were on horses chasing them. She told Talisa to follow her as she made a quick left turn and rode harder. Arrows flew past her head as one grazed Talisa. Talisa grimaced in pain as she continued to ride. They noticed the hooves were slowing down which was a little strange for Catelyn's taste. When she turned back around, the horses cried out and fell down as they brought down the people riding them. Catelyn quickly got up and ran to Talisa's side. Her leg was stuck under the weight of the horse.
Catelyn managed to free Talisa's leg as an arrow pierced through her shoulder. She looked down at the wound and looked around and noticed Frey men surrounding them holding crossbows and swords.
I walked the path, it led me to the end, remember
I'm caught beneath with nothing left to give, forever
"Well Where were heading? You were supposed to be at the feast?" one questioned her. "My father would love this gift from us. It seems your son made a mistake." He said as he looked at Talisa. "We had spies throughout the camp. We know about her condition. It seems your son deceived my father. You will all be punished with the help from Rhaenyra Lannister." He said as each of his men grabbed the women. He grabbed his sword and stabbed Talisa in the belly first and then cut off her head. Catelyn watched in agony knowing what her fate would be. But she knew she would be with her husband and her two sons again. She didn't put up a fight was the man swung his sword at her neck.
Grey skies will chase the light away, no longer
I fought the fight, now dark remains forever

Lord Frey stood up and the musicians stopped playing and every laughter was silenced. "My King, it seems we may have a situation at hand." He sneered at the younger man.
Robb Stark looked at the older man. "What situation?" he asked.
Lord Frey smirked. "It seems you are a deceitful man. Everyone believes Starks are always so honorable but they really aren't. If you were you wouldn't have taken a whore and had a bastard with her." He stated angrily.
Robb paled at the fact that he knew. "I do not know what you are speaking of." He lied.
Lord Frey laughed and signaled for the musicians. Rhaenyra stood up and looked behind her as she noticed the men with crossbows but they didn't have steady arms. "Robb get down!" she yelled. Roose stood up and grabbed a knife that was on the table. Rhaenyra reached under her dress and grabbed her two daggers. Then the chaos began. Frey's men came near her as she jumped into action. She swung her fist hitting one of them in the nose. She ducked just in time as another man swung his fist at her. She placed the dagger in her right hand and stabbed the man in his belly multiple times. She stood up and reached out and sliced the last man's throat. She turned around noticing Robb fighting against the Frey's. Rhaenyra sighed knowing she was a bit outnumbered. With the Arsenic in their systems it was easier to strike. Low dosage of the poison caused confusion and lack of strength.
Can't let it all I've done
Can't let it all be in vain
Gave up the war to watch it fade
Rhaenyra picked up a fallen crossbow and began to fire at her enemies. The arrows hit her targets but then she felt a stinging pain in her shoulder. The crossbow fell and hit the floor as she turned around and saw Lord Frey's son taking out the knife that injured her shoulder. He was about to stab her again when a small pointy piece of metal stuck out from his neck. He clutched his neck and fell. Rhaenyra noticed Arya standing there wiping blood from her sword onto her dress.
Rhaenyra pushed Arya behind her as another man swung his sword at her; she jumped back just in time as she sliced the man's arm making him hiss and drop his sword. She picked it up and sliced open his belly. She hissed looking down her bloody shoulder knowing she ripped her wound even more.
No words can ever replace where I've been
Can't stand the thought of you going through it alone
Robb finished killing the last man in the room as Lord Frey clapped. "Very good. I'm quite impressed with your skills. It seems I have one last parting gift for you my King." He said as he grabbed something near him and placed it on the table. The sack was stained in blood as Rhaenyra held her breath. He revealed what was under the sack. It was the lifeless heads of Catelyn Stark and Talisa. Robb cried out and Rhaenyra grabbed Arya's head and covered her eyes in her dress. No child should see that.
"What game are you playing Lord Frey?" Rhaenyra questioned.
"When I heard rumors that your grandfather made you his heir and gave you a task to end this war. I figured you would be on his side but I guess we were both wrong. It seems you sided with the enemy. Why? I fear you may have gotten soft." He stated.
Rhaenyra felt a blade against her neck and she stilled for a moment. "One move and I will cut her fucking throat." He sneered.
"You don't have the balls to do it. I'll give you once chance to try to kill me but you better hope I'm dead or you will wish you had." She gritted through her teeth.
The man chuckled and began to slice her neck. He made a good two inch gash on her neck when she threw her head back and connected with his nose he dropped his dagger and Rhaenyra struck. She punched him in the gut and he doubled over. She swung another punch towards his head when he grabbed her arm and tackled her to the floor. Her head connected with the wood floor blurring her vision a little when she kicked out and hit his chest. She got up and grabbed the knife that fell and stabbed him in the heart. Roose Bolton made it towards Lord Frey's table and I slightly nodded and he stabled Lord Frey to death. Rhaenyra looked at the broken hearted Robb Stark and Arya who held onto him tight. Rhaenyra ripped her dress and tied it around her neck to stop the blood flow. She grabbed any weapon she could carry and looked at the men who were left.
As they left the room, they heard the grunts and screams of dying men. She looked out by the nearby window and saw all the chaos that was happening outside. The Stark camps were on fire and it was a giant battlefield.
"I need to get you all to safety. Arya, you and Robb will ride on Elaena and Roose you will be with me." Rhaenyra stated.
"My Lady you're bleeding." Roose stated. Rhaenyra nodded. "Help me tie It." she said as she handed him another piece of fabric. He made sure it was tighten enough and followed her lead.
She ran outside where the stables were and saw Frey men surrounded at the cage were Greywind was. She grabbed the crossbow and aimed it at the men. One by one they all fell as she was swift to kill them all. Robb ran to the cage and let his direwolf loose. He was thankful that Rhaenyra thought of him. She found her hiding spot where she hid her sword as she called for her dragons.
Anogar and Elaena heard their mother's call and immediately went to her aid. They spotted fire nearby and feared the worst. They flew low near the east of the castle where they sensed Rhaenyra. She ran towards them and spoke to them in Valyrian. "We need to kill everyone on the field." she commanded. Arya and Robb with Greywind jumped on Elaena as Rhaenyra jumped on Anogar with Roose in tow. They both kicked off the ground and headed back to the fiery
Anogar screeched and blew fire on the fighting men. His fire breath stretched a great distance and burned the casualties. Elaena followed her brother's lead and reigned fire at the castle itself. The fire spread through the castle and there was no escaping. Rhaenyra didn't want any Frey to be alive including his daughters.
"You just ruined my new home." Roose Bolton stated angrily.
Rhaenyra sighed and growled. "It will take time to rebuild but I am sure it will happen." She stated and guided Anogar high into the night sky. Rhaenyra had no idea where she was going to take these people but they needed to stay safe until she spoke with her grandfather. She needed him to understand why she chose this route instead. She smiled looking at the full moon knowing she was a little closer to the end of this war.
