It's been a few weeks since Rhaenyra threatened Joffrey's life and he still held a grudge. He sent a guard to capture Rhaenyra and her beasts when one of her dragons killed him. Joffrey seethed with anger towards everyone in the Kingdom. He wanted her dead and it had to be soon. Joffrey looked out of his balcony windows and saw Rhaenyra training again. He watched her every move waiting for her to screw up and get killed. He loved the fact that she never used sparring swords. He just waited until one day the sword would gut her.
Down below Rhaenyra moved with grace ignoring the slight twinge of pain she felt in her shoulder. She knew it was still too soon to be training but she was a warrior. She needed to be strong and fierce for the months to come.

Tywin Lannister sat at his table facing the two Princes that he hoped would form an alliance. He studied the Red Viper of Dorne. He had quite the reputation in Westeros and the most he's known is fucking women; one of them being his granddaughter. Since reading that letter he discovered awhile back, he asked around and his spies found more information about those two. It seems it is all known in Dorne for Rhaenyra and Oberyn constantly being with one another. He knew he had to offer Rhaenyra to him before this information was leaked. His granddaughter's reputation should not be tainted by this. He had to fix this now.
"Why don't you just tell us why we wasted our time to come here?" Oberyn stated.
"Things have changed over the years and as Hand of the King, I want to make one more change. The seven Kingdoms are not seven unless Dorne is back. I want Westeros to be whole again. You would have a seat on the small council here at the Capital." Tywin stated.
"I had no idea you held such respect for Dorne." Oberyn stated. "What do you want in return?" he asked.
"Well it seems we have a common interest here. We already have an alliance with you according to Myrcella's betrothal. But our mutual interest does not concern ourselves with Myrcella." Tywin paused. "Rhaenyra Lannister might peak our interest though." He said.
"What about her?" Oberyn asked.
Tywin smirked. "I know about you and her. You will take the seat in council and in return you will wed Rhaenyra. It seems you know each other intimately and her reputation is on the line. You will wed her within a week's time." Tywin replied.
Oberyn smirked thinking about the times he shared with Rhaenyra. He knew she was going to be pissed off about this. He couldn't believe he had the nerve to wed her so quickly. Oberyn loved Rhaenyra but were they ready for marriage. He was willing to try for Rhaenyra.
"Has she agreed to this?" Oberyn questioned.
"She doesn't have a say in this matter. It was her own fault to be a whore. She will wed you and it's final. She won't be the first woman to be forced into the Sept." Tywin stated.
"She isn't a whore. I'll advise you not to speak of her in that way." Oberyn stated.
Tywin was about to reply when Rhaenyra burst into the small council room seething. Her hair was tied up in a bun as she was wearing a pair of trousers and a tunic; her usual sparring clothes. Rhaenyra did not notice anyone but her grandfather.
"I'm so tired of Joffrey! He was watching me like a hawk today while I was training. He even sent a Kingsguard to come after me saying I was threatening the King. Well the King needs to fight like a man and maybe defend himself against a defenseless girl like myself. After all he's done in the past week; I'm waiting for him to take care of the job himself. I would gladly demonstrate how to properly kill someone." Rhaenyra ranted as she walked closer to her grandfather.
Tywin raised his eyebrows at Rhaenyra since she was angry. He knew better than to interrupt her rants. "Rhaenyra, be polite and welcome our guests at the Capital." Tywin said.
Rhaenyra looked down the table and there they were; Doran and Oberyn Martell. She smiled in embarrassment and headed to where Doran was sitting. "Prince Doran, I hope you are well." She said and kissed his cheek.
Doran smiled at her. "I feel a slight pain in my leg but I am better now that you are here." He said politely.
Rhaenyra chuckled. "Forgive me, I didn't know you were coming to the Capital." She said as she took a seat near Prince Doran but sneaking glances towards Oberyn.
"We received a letter from the Hand of the King and how could we refuse. It is expected for you not to know since you have not replied to any of our ravens." Oberyn stated with a hint of annoyance in his voice.
Rhaenyra gritted her teeth knowing what Oberyn was getting at. "I was busy." She stated.
He eyed her appearance noticing the two inch scar on her neck. "Clearly." He said.
Tywin sat back and watched the interaction with Rhaenyra and Oberyn. Anyone blind could see they had something going on but hiding their actions around people.
"Prince Oberyn, if you are wondering about the scar she got it a few weeks ago as she made the Freys into a dead house like House Reyne." Tywin stated proudly.
Rhaenyra lowered her eyes not wanting to face the judgmental eyes of her lover or his brother.
"Is that true?" Prince Doran questioned her.
Rhaenyra nodded. "Yes, I had to defend innocent lives there and his men came after me. I gave him one chance to try to kill me as you can see the scar I bear but he is no longer around." She replied.
"Now can we move onto a lighter topic?" Rhaenyra stated.
Tywin nodded. "Yes, now that you are here, there is something we need to discuss. We have been avoiding a topic for a long time and I think now it's the best time to discuss it." he said. Rhaenyra nodded for him to continue.
"Marriage. I found a suitor for you and you will wed him in a week's time." Tywin continued.
"When were you going to tell me? How long have you known? And who is the man?" Rhaenyra questioned her grandfather. She was furious considering she was to be wed so soon and to a man she barely knew.
"I just told you now. I only proposed the idea just today. Rhaenyra meet your suitor, Prince Oberyn of House Martell." Tywin smirked.

In the gardens of the Red Keep Sansa was sitting down at her normal table eating some lemon cakes. She was still in mourning ever since she found out her mother was killed by the Freys. She hoped she would have been able to see her mother one last time before she was taken away from her but there was no way to change things. Her mother was gone and her brother was still King of the North and her sister was still alive.
She was bound to stay at the Capital with her husband Tyrion. She still felt like a prisoner even though her husband never treated her that way. Tyrion was a gentle man who seemed sincere with her. He respected her decisions and he didn't push her into the bedding. It was her idea to consummate the marriage. He didn't mistreat her once while they were together.
She broke out of her thoughts when she noticed her husband walking towards her. "My lady." He said as he sat down next to her.
"My Lord." She responded.
"How are you feeling today?" he asked as her handmaiden still glared at him. He ignored the presence of Shae.
"I feel a bit better; my appetite seems to be back. I can eat small portions now. It's better than before." She said.
"Indeed it is." He said as he poured some wine in his cup.
"My Lord." Sansa started.
"Tyrion, I am your husband now." Tyrion interrupted her.
"Tyrion, I was hoping to visit my brother in Winterfell. It would be nice to get out of the Capital. I miss my family." She said.
Tyrion nodded. "It would be nice to visit the North again Sansa, but your brother and sister are not in Winterfell." He replied.
"I don't understand. Where are they then?" she asked.
"That I do not know, only my niece knows and I don't think she would give that information up so easily." He said as he picked up a lemon cake.

Rhaenyra looked across from her to see a smirking Oberyn. She was ready to jump over that table and hit him senseless. "Was this your idea?" she questioned him.
Oberyn leaned forward. "And what if it was Rhaenyra?" he asked.
Rhaenyra sighed in frustration. "Why?" she asked.
"I find you very intriguing and I simply want you. All of you." He said as he whispered the last part in Valyrian.
Rhaenyra turned towards her grandfather. "I thought we already had an alliance with Dorne. Why do we need another one?" she asked.
Tywin stood up and walked down to where she was sitting. "Because, you decided to dishonor the Lannister name." he stated. Rhaenyra noticed the look in her grandfather's eyes. He knew about her and Oberyn and this was her punishment. Her only question was who might have told him about them.
Tywin noticed the glint in Rhaneyra's eyes. "Yes I know all about your adventures in Dorne including the ones behind closed doors. It seems my birds in Dorne did a good job giving me important information about the silver hair beauty that captured the Red Viper's heart." He said as he paused. "Since you gave your virtue to Prince Oberyn you will be his wife." He finished.
Rhaenyra chuckled. "I gave my virtue to Prince Oberyn?" she asked as she looked between all the men. She stood up from her seat and looked at her grandfather directly. "Oberyn was not the first man that was in between my legs." She started. "Omni was the first man. He's from Valyria and has Targaryen features. Perhaps I shall marry him instead." She stated.
Tywin Lannister was seething. He couldn't believe his granddaughter was so naïve. He gritted his teeth and slammed his fist into the table. He looked towards Oberyn and Doran. "Leave!" he demanded.
Prince Oberyn and Doran nodded their heads towards the angry pair and left the room. "Do you think he would harm her?" Doran asked his brother.
"No. He'd be a fool if he did." Oberyn stated as they walked down the hall.
"How dare you! Have you not learned anything back at Casterly Rock? Rhaenyra you will marry Prince Oberyn for the sake of your future." Tywin stated sternly.
"And what future is that?" She questioned.
"The future of this family. This marriage will bring peace for our family. It will be remembered in our History." He said.
Rhaenyra went through all of her thoughts about her grandfather was saying. "You mean it will be remembered because it's been far too long since a Martell married with a Targaryen." She said. "You would use me against Joffrey like this?"
Tywin glared at her. "Yes. The kingdoms need someone like you. Your father Jaime can now be my heir. He can no longer protect the King. He will be my only heir now." he replied.
Rhaenyra couldn't stand to be in the room with him now. She walked away from him as he called out her name. She ignored him and decided she needed to clear her mind so she headed towards the shore lines. It was always so peaceful out there.

Oberyn left Doran in his chambers while he explored more the Capital. He was heading towards Littlefinger's brothel when he spotted Rhaenyra walking furiously. He closed the door and followed her. By the looks of it she was beyond furious.
He followed her out of the gates as she paused by the shore. He walked towards her wrapping his arms around her waist.
Rhaenyra jumped feeling arms around her but welcomed them as she could smell Oberyn. "What are you doing?" she asked.
"Is it wrong to hold my future wife?" he asked as he peppered kisses on her neck. Rhaenyra broke out of his hold and turned to face him and scowled.
"Would it be such a bad thing if I wanted us to be together considering you might be caring our child?" he asked angrily.
"I am not with child!" Rhaenyra yelled.
"Really? When was the last time you bled?" he questioned as he pulled her closer to him and laid his hand on her stomach.
"None of your business." She stated.
"Why are you being like this?" he asked.
"Lord Tywin explained why he wanted this marriage. He wants a Martell to marry a Targaryen again. We all know what happened. What if history repeats itself? It never ends well. He has an idea for us to rule one day. He said the kingdoms need someone like me not Joffrey. "If anyone tells we will be both dead." She explained.
"They would have to try to kill us." Oberyn joked.
"This isn't funny Oberyn. I have bigger problems to deal with other than this impending marriage. I still have to help Robb Stark take back the North, help my Aunt train her dragons and take her to Valyria, figure out why Elaena has been giving me hell, and the fact that I haven't bled since our time in the gardens of Dorne!" she ranted.
Oberyn laughed and pulled her closer. "So you are with child?" he asked.
"No! I don't know! I haven't asked the maester." she said softly and wrapped her arms around Oberyn's waist and placed her head on his chest.
"Well I think you need to relax. Stress isn't good for mothers. Perhaps that is why Elaena is acting out. And the whole Robb Stark situation, why make it your business. It does not concern you Rhaenyra." He said as he rubbed her back.
"Because I made a promise to him and I keep my word." She said and looked up at him. "Do you really believe Elaena hates me because I might be pregnant?" she asked.
"I don't know." He replied and kissed her forehead.
Rhaenyra pushed away from him and called her dragons. She wanted to test out what Oberyn was stating. She felt them coming and she was excited. Anogar landed first then came Elaena. They spotted Oberyn next to Rhaenyra and Elaena walked closer to welcome him.
"Why hello, I must say you have grown." He said and reached out to touch her. Elaena bowed her head and welcomed the touch. Anogar stayed put near Rhaenyra's side as Elaena looked at her.
"Do you know you might have another sibling soon?" she asked Elaena in Valyrian.
Elaena slightly growled and walked closer to Rhaenyra. Elaena smelled her and she smelled different for some time now. She was feeling more neglected now than ever. First with Rhaenyra always choosing Anogar and now with this new scent she was being selfish.
Oberyn noticed Elaena being a slight aggressive and tried to get Rhaenyra back. Rhaenyra refused to move. "I am not replacing anyone. It's your responsibility to look out for this new one. I know you hate me and that's okay. Just know I love you." She said and touched Rhaenyra's snout. Elaena really didn't hate her mother. She just couldn't. She just wanted Rhaenyra to be careful; after all she was carrying precious cargo.
Elaena moved closer to her mother and whined a bit and nuzzled into her face. Rhaenyra giggled. "You'll always be my favorite girl." She whispered.
