The clank of the chains brushing against each other irritated him, the man that held the chain with a large smirk irritated him, the heavy metal that connected his legs together irritated him, just about everything here irritated Sasuke at this moment.

" Not so powerful now, are we?!" The woman from behind him exclaimed as she shoved him forward. Oh, that irritated him as well.

" ..." Sasuke remained silent, but he refused to let the words reach the air, as he simply sighed, and trudged forward. At the present moment, he was making his way to the stupid headquarters of their stupid leader. " …..." The man in front of him came to a sudden halt, allowing for Sasuke to bump into the small figured man. He quickly spun around, giving Sasuke a devilish stare,

" Watch it." He muttered as Sasuke straighten up as he rolled his eyes at the man. The woman behind him snarled at the exchange quickly taking Sasuke by his shoulder turning him harshly.

" We're here." She said the man to his right nodded, He took in a deep breath, as he rolled up his hand and lightly knocked on the large ebony wooden door.

" Lady Mizukage?" He asked, in a loud voice. The stood in silence for a moment, before the door was cracked open. The man turned to the woman, they both gave each other an anonymous look, before pulling the woman pushed open the door to reveal the room. The room was large, as expected, but it was filled with selves with stacks of paper, a large mahogany desk sat at the middle of the room with a single large paper that spread to all four corners. It was painted a dull blue, it was nice and matched their musty skies they were so famous for. Their was a giant globe of water in the middle of the room it was surrounded by three large ivory couches, one on each side, and a blurred image of the third one that was placed behind the solid like liquid, a small length coffee table sat between the front seats, as well as a grey hued vase.

"Intelle", Sasuke guessed, as he stared at the large object. Much to all their surprise, the Mizukage was nowhere in sight,

" Where is she?" Sasuke asked in a low hum, both his holders turned to him,

" I don't know." The woman replied she pushed past Sasuke roughly as she entered the room.

" Lady Mizukage-"

" Yes, yes-" The loud voice came from behind the mass of water. There was a sudden eruption behind the globe, it turned its head over the water's circumference, to reveal a middle-aged auburn-haired woman, her hair almost looked glued, as fought gravity as it came in cascades, covering one of her emerald eyes. She lowered her guard almost as soon as she saw the face of the man that stared blankly at her" Ah! Sasuke." He could hear her clap her hands together, as she came from around the corner, she turned her gaze to the others, " Let him go!" She happily chirped, the man looked baffled a bit as he spoke,

" But Lady Mizukage-" He stared, but her glare cut him off,

" I said let him go-" She smirked, as she waved off the man, " He is a friend after all!" She exclaimed, the woman groaned, but quickly retrieved the keys from her pocket. She threw the key over Sasuke, as the man caught it and slowly he crouched down. The woman walked to his back, as she slipped the key in it's place and turned it quickly; as she turned the key, the restraints cracked open, she harshly pulled it from his hands, as she shoved them back into her pockets. The man turned the key inside it hole, as he pulled back the chains that linked his legs together.

" Thank you." He muttered, a smug look on his usual blank face. Sasuke lifted his hands, both the guards stood straight up, ready to jump into action if needed, Sasuke smirked at this as he sorely rubbed his wrist. " And I thought we were on friendly terms-" He called over to the brown-haired woman.

" We are Sasuke, my boy." She crossed over the water sphere, giving him a sheepish look, " But in our defense you did try to destroy the world-" She waved her hand in her face, making a notion to disregard the previous comment,

" ..." He groaned as Mie rose a brow. She turned her head to the two guards, a smile already in place,

" You two may go now-" They stood strong resisting, as the both of them shook their heads,

" But, Lady Mizukage-" The woman started, the Mizukage's face turned quite quickly from a smile into a harsh frown.

" I said go-" She cocked her head to the side a bit, as she stood behind the semi-clear water globe behind her. " Or do you believe I can't fend for myself?" Her brow rose, as she glared at the still woman, the man quickly paled, as he turned back lightly gripping her shoulder. The woman grunted, before turning her glare to the ground,

" No, Lady Mizukage." She said in a low groan, at this Mei's faces turned into a bright grin,

" I thought so, now go-" She bit the end of her sentence, as she watched her turn back and stomped agitated to the door.

" Excuse us, Lady Mizukage." The man said, as he promptly bowed before her, he turned to go as the woman gently lowered her head.

" Lady." She said, as her eyes impaled Sasuke, she promptly followed the dark-haired man, as she exited the crossed the room alongside him. Again, she turned to bow, her nose was stuck in a wrinkled pose, as she shut the door in front of her.

" You're both free for the rest of the day, use it for something!" Mei declared as Sasuke simply stood in silence. She crossed the large gap about twenty feet or so and smiled in front of him. "Ah! You still look so young?!" She declared, she rose a hand lightly brushing against his pale skin.

" It's only been two years." He said in a plane tone, Mei nodded but let her hand cross over to hers, she sighed a bit she spoke,

" Yes, but two years can do so much to one's skin." She shook her head, as she lightly rubbed her cheek, she crossed her arms over her chest, " You'll understand when you're a bit older." She looked to his eyes, he was a clear foot taller than her at this age, yet she still gave off a feeding arua, that shocked even him, because he honestly was here on good terms.

" Yes-" He lowered his bruised hands to his sides, sighing.

" Now, now-" Mei crossed over to the couches slowly, it left the room filled with the sounds of her steps. She paused as she noticed the man stood at his place, not moving an inch as he stared at her. " Oh, dear?" She shook her head, " Where are my manners." She slowly eased herself down, laying her entire body over the large seat,"Sit, sit down." She gestured to the couch that faced hers. Sasuke remained in a trance as he stood next to the doorway. " Did the cuffs drain that much chakra?" She asked, her eyes drifting back to the seat in front of her.

" So, that's why they were getting cocky?" He thought Sasuke pressed his eyes closed as he made his way to the couch, " I didn't even feel it." He said a bit bored.

" Well of course-" Sasuke paused, as he stood directly in front of her, " It takes only a small amount, like-" She pondered for a moment as Sasuke sank onto the cushioned seat, turning her gaze towards him, " like when you sign for a substitution." She spat, " though I'm not sure, never had I been forced to wear them myself." She confessed all the while Sasuke sat silently.

" Better you not." He said, Mei scoffed a bit; harshly she pulled herself up to a slumping position.

" Yes, better I not." She repeated, in a low hum. She stared at him for a moment, " I do apologize for their actions, you see in their minds you're a-a-"

" A villain." He announced.

" Yes-" She paused before giving off a chuckle, " but hey, at least the Hokage doesn't?" Mei proclaimed Sasuke didn't once react to her failed attempt to lighten the room. He blinked not caring to even comment on her actions, " Sasuke my boy-" Mei tried to start,

" Why am I here?" Sasuke asked, the room dulled into a tranquil silence, or so it appeared. Mei sighed, pressing her eyes closed as she rose her arm to her forehead,

" You won't humor me?" She beckoned, Sasuke kept his post taking in still breaths. " I guess that's a no." Mei mused a bit. " Sasuke-" She let the humor fall from the atmosphere, as she darted her eye to the bored man, " Lately, something has been happening around the village- something-someone, I guess?" At this Sasuke rose a brow, but never raising any alert with emotions.

" What exactly?" He asked, leaning forward a bit to listen to her,

" What, I can't say." Mei bit her upper lip, and pressed her eyes, she stood, as Sasuke sprung up at a blistering speed. She gave him a confused face, as he pressed his lips, eyes closed, Mei smirked as she sought the meaning of the gesture, " You're Mother taught you well." She jested, as her hand covered her giggling lips. He remained hushed, as a slight rose color passed over his pale face. She shuffled to her desk, as she flew to retrieve a manilla folder. Mei steered towards him, as she slid the blank folder over to him over the short table. She sat, with that, he ambled back into his seat.

" Those are all the accounts-" She pointed to the folder with a distasteful expression, " In there, there are over 100 different attacks, rape, and most recently abduction." She sighed as she proceeded, " None of the directly attacked are ever found, neither are the raped, or even the abducted." Sasuke let his thumb run down the hem of the papers,

" Found?" Sasuke asked Mei, pressed her lips.

" Alive." She confessed Sasuke nodded as she proceeded.

" Those around them through-" She pointed to the book of paper, " Are found in a deep genjitsu-" She lifted her hand in front of her, " It's extremely unique, in all the days we have only ever seen this in one form of power-" She explained, " The sharingan." Mei fumbled a bit, but continued, "The witness then claim their report, always claiming only an attack, rape, or abduction, except-" She reflected,

" Except?" He questioned

"The victim is already found-" She let out a deep breath, " but still I know it's a chain!" She chanted, " It never really changes, and this person hasn't made a single mistake, the sneaky bastard-" She pointed to the folder, "Not even in the location!" She remarked, Sasuke unrolled the cover of the tan colored paper. He lightly brushed through the first report, not bothering to give Mei any heed.

" This-"

" Yes, I know." He chuckled a bit, " But, still over half of them claim they saw-" She shook her head, " And due to past issues with-" She spun her hands in a circle, trying to let him speak.

" That's why I was in chains?" Sasuke blurted, as he slid the papers next to his figure.

" Yes, Sasuke-"

" I hope you don't think I did it?" He barked, anger boiling.

" I don't-"

" But everyone else does?" He questioned, Mei, lowered her head onto her chest,

" Yes.. they do." Sasuke sighed, as Mei entwined her fingers together.

" Why am I here then?" He rose a brow, " So, you can incriminate me? Blame me? Arrest me?" He questioned,

" Of course not!" Mei argued, " We high ups know where you are at all times, we always know..." She reassured, "But the public does want your head." She muttered.

" Well, they'll have to take a number- my head's wanted everywhere." Sasuke scoffed, as he pushed himself back, laying his back to the back cushion.

" I know that too, that's why I called you here." She beckoned, " For you to clear your name!" She batted her eyelashes proud of her plan. Sasuke sat still as he took it in,

" Yes, bring the accused to the crime scene-" He shook his head to her, " Only the truly emotionally distraught ever go back to the scene of crime-" He bit his lower lip, Mei opened her mouth for a second before promptly shutting it, " Or the sexually frustrated am I wrong, Mizukage?" Sasuke asked, as he sent her a resentful glare. Mei pressed her lips together as she offered an embarrassed look,

" I should send you back to the leaf, shouldn't I?" Mei asked, Sasuke nodded before turning back a crossed look,

" You can't even do that now-" He paused as he bit down the urge to shout, " If I don't find out who, why, and how they did this-" His face came across a long dread expression, "the next victim's death will be on my head-" Sasuke sighed, as he turned his look to his violet shaded wrist, " I can guarantee you that." Sasuke took a moment, " But I still can't solve this." Mei gave a confused stare,

" Wait, so-"

" I have to solve this, but I personally can't be involved." He explained, Mei nodded slowly,

" That's why I asked for the Hyuga girl!" She exclaimed, " I know that the Byakugan can see through the genjutsu!" Sasuke remained patient as he explained to her,

" So, you bought one of the worst ninja's here because?" He held his words carefully, " You thought that she could see through the enemy?" He asked, the Mizukage at this point felt a bit confused,

" I thought she was good? She is the next heir to the clan, right?" Her thin brow rose, as her mouth opened slightly.

" She's the heir, but that has nothing to do with skill." He said he stared at the older lady in both astonishment, and disbelief, " I thought the leaders had to at least consider before making these kinds of decisions?" He thought as he let his lips fall into a quick frown.

" She'll have to do- her cousin's death, and she is the Hokage's fiance." The Mizukage let a ghastly expression come to her lips, " To think that little brat could score someone so high, while I'm withering away-"

" Ex-fiance." He corrected, quickly as he stood from his seat.

" Oh!" Mei exclaimed, " But- what- then- when?!" She let her arms drool over the couch's arm.

" Like two months or two months a half ago-" Sasuke quickly, cursed himself as Mei shook her head in disbelief.

"You're saying I bought a more than likely emotionally hurt young girl to help you?" She asked, Sasuke slowly nodded in response. " Did she break it off?" Mei asked, only to reciprocate the same response from the ink haired man. " No, oh! Did he cheat?!" She asked, sitting more attentively a concerned glare towards him,

" Why are you asking me this-"

" So, he did! Dirty little- No! Was it with pink head?" Mei pointed to her head eyes dilated in disbelief. " She was eyeing him when I went to visit but-." She bit her lower lip as she forcefully shook her head,

" That isn't important-"

" Shit?! How long?" Mei asked as she quickly shook her head, " I always thought she would have a thing for you, though?" She confessed, " Oh! Did she like him after he received his Hokage position-?" Sasuke shook his head,

" Mizukage!"

" Shut! Up! She did?!" She was honestly just getting this information from his lack of response and motion.

" I bet she'll rush the marriage-" Sasuke stood in a haze, " Oh! Then she'll definitely cheat on him or something with-"

" Mizukage, there is a murder running around ruining my already scummy name!" He hollered, Mei, paused as she pressed her eyes, sighing,

" You're right!" She stood from her seat, " First we catch this-this thing-" She eased her way to her desk, " But like are you serious?" She asked Sasuke eyed her.

" Mizukage, please be serious?" Sasuke asked he took his gaze off her for a moment as he took up the folder.

" I am, I just can't believe it?" She pulled up her chair, as she lowered herself slowly, slumping in her seat. " He seemed so lovey-dovey with her two years ago-" She sank her head to the cool surface of a wooden board, " They were so cute! I was getting ready to buy a dress-" She shook her head, a sad face shacked on her face.

" Stop with that-"

" I did, but-but I wanted to be in the wedding!" She cried, covering her face from the low lights the artificial lights that hung from them.

" There is no wedding now, focus!" Sasuke grunted as he took up a hand as he pressed the bridge of his nose. He walked to the window, the sun might have been in the sky, yet the bunches of dark clouds hid any light, nature could offer.

" I know!" She called, " I get it, ohhhh.." She shook her head, " I never want to see his cheating ass again." She bit her lower lip, Mei's eyes blurred as pouted.

" How do you know he cheated?" Sasuke asked, as he spread his hand and rubbed his eyes from the sore content of the conversation.

" Your lack of answers and pouty gestures say so." Mei pointed to his body, his face was pointed at as well, " Now go, I-I have to do some work." Mei rubbed her cheek bright red, as she wiped them.

" But we're not done! We have to discuss what I'm going to do-"

" What! I thought we finished this, let the Hyuga girl take all the credit, and you do all the work." She said as she lowered herself further into her seat.

" She won't allow that, she'll want to help me-" Mei pursed her lips, and shrugged, " No she'll insist." He urged, with a stern look.

" Then let her." Mei brushed off, as she sighed.

" Oh! I never thought of that." He kept a low tone, as he stared at the Mizukage.

" Listen, just go on. Find a place to stay-" She stopped herself, and paused for a moment, " Stay away from the west entrance." She reminded, " That's where we've found all the bodies, it's next to this traditional Japanese cafe-" She gave a thoughtful look to Sasuke, " It's owned by one of my men's family." Mei blurted.

" I could care less, I can't have the Hyuga girl snooping, or even knowing that there is a murder running around claiming to be me." He rolled his eyes, as Sasuke rubbed his neck, as he coughed a bit.

" Then don't tell her," Mei replied happily chirped.

" How am I not supposed to?" He questioned his face showing his confusion, " She needs to know to take credit, right?" He rose a brow towards her, as Mei shrugged.

" Then tell her." She murmured angrily.

" I doubt she'll believe a word I say."

" Then goddamn make something up!" She scowled shaking her head in anger.

" I-I." Sasuke sighed as he pressed his eyes closed.

" Fine! So, we're set!" She exclaimed, " You'll tell her-" Her bubbly demeanor demanding for more attention,

" No, I'll come up with something different." He said in a flat tone, his voice had remained low, as he spoke in an almost course volume.

" Okay-" She sat up a bit, crossing her arms over her chest. " Then you do that, and find the killer-" She bit back the urge to lash at him for interrupting, he was known for his stubborn behavior, and lack of any care.

" But Mizukage, I'll need you to do something." He stated, not even in a question, or containing an inch of remorse.

" What?" She asked a slight smirk laced on her lips.

" I need you to meet with her and explain to her that-" He paused, " this mission is nothing too serious, okay?" He asked her, Mei kept a straight look, while she spoke.

" But I don't want to!" She whined, " What if I choke up and spill something about her ex?" She demanded as she shook her head. " No noo..!" She continued to shake her head, " I refuse!"

" You don't have a choice, now please behave before someone thinks I'm hurting you." He spat with anger tinged inside its demeanor.

"..." She gave him a crossed look, " Fine, then bring her here and we'll give her a run around mission, you'll do your thing and find our man then we'll improvise, kay?" Mei stated as she sat up forcing all her weight on her legs she wobbled a bit as Sasuke eyed her.

" I'll be going then." He stammered as he turned back.

" Yes, very well then go on." Mei offered a thin smile as she rose a single hand. He swiftly turned back as he slowly stomped out of the room, " Sasuke my boy…. don't let them in!" Mei called Sasuke kept his way, slipping past the door as he slowly shut its dark color behind him. He sighed,

" This- Uhg!" He thought to let his hand run through his hair. Sasuke took a deep breath as he swallowed deeply,

" Hey!" Sasuke rolled his head to the side sighing as he saw the faces of both his kind escorts.

" Really." He muttered rolling his eyes.

" What did the Lady Mizukage want with you?" The woman asked. Sasuke bit back the urge to

comment and instead, he passed them both up. The man sped up quickly pulling Sasuke back by his shoulder turning him back with a sudden jolt.

" Come on buddy... let's just talk, alright?" He asked an unpleasant smirk induced over his face.

".." Sasuke stared back at him, as the man solemnly grunted.

" He won't talk." The woman replied as Sasuke rose her a brow. He shrugged his arm free and pulled up in front of them. " But his little companion will." She mumbled.

" So, can we go see the Mizukage now?" Hinata asked kindly as Chojuro quickly turned to face her. They were seated outside, a large dark umbrella covering them overhead, the ice to the touch chairs with matching seats, Chojuro babbled as Hinata chilled to the bone. Her coat offered protection, yet failed to elude her from the melting of the snow. Chojuro seemed fairly confident in fact, he was sipping his steaming drink, arm over his head, and as he crossed her a simple glance every now and then.

" You wanna go now?" He asked her, as Hinata promptly nodded, Chojuro pressed his eyes shut for a brief moment, before promptly standing, " Okay, then let go of it!" He exclaimed, slamming his still filled cup on the table, allowing for it to seep out on to Hinata's coat, leaving a small moist spot. He turned away unknowing, as he offered her a simple extended limb. Hinata took it, as she held her tea in her pale hand,

" Your mother was very sweet, I mean.. She- she's very kind and strong mindedly." She retorted He nodded fiercely.

" Yes, I'm sorry we had to sit outside, I know she wanted grandkids but not to the degree of begging?" He smirked, as he scratched the back of his head.

" It's fine, my Mother would have loved grandkids." She explained with a murmur, as she gestured for them to venture forward. Chojuro must have understood, as he gave brief notice before pulling ahead inside, this time he held the door as she entered, she lowered her head a bit, as he generously waved her off.

" Did you convince her?" A familiar voice rang as everyone peeked their heads towards, Chojuro blocked Hinata as he stammered,

" Mom, it's not like we were talking over today's plans!" Hinata hovered below him, as she tried to keep herself hidden as she turned to slide the door closed,

" No, you're just not persuasive enough!" She cried, as she turned from the corner,

" Mother she's engaged!" Chojuro cried Hinata bit back the urge to make a face at the comment since everyone here must think she was still together with him. It was a great excuse for her to use, though.

" Thank you very much for the food, Mother." Hinata bowed, as she lowered her bag, and unzipped it to fetch her lavender shaded purse. " How much will it be-"

" You don't pay." She shook head to the offer, " Family doesn't pay." She whispered in a hushed voice, Hinata shook it off,

" No, please I'll feel better if I do so-" She quickly turned to face her son,

" Take her away before I-" Her tone matched Hinata's father on bad days, she shook a bit. Chojuro took no heed, he quickly leads Hinata to the door escorting her through it, while he stood inside chatting it up with his mother, and another person who she did not know.

" Go on." He gestured, Hinata nodded and stepped back outside into the frigid weather she shivered as she waited for him to come outside with her. The snow had definitely been stamped at this point, as her boot left a thin mark, she noticed that it had been intentionally piled on the sides of the road. She took the liberty to cross her arms over her chest. The frosty snow was seeping through her thick coverings, and leaving her soaking wet, in this weather, she would rather burn then freeze. She limply crossed over the road, as waited. She was ecstatic when Sasuke came back around she would offer amends, he probably wouldn't hold any grudge, so she was fine in any matter. Hinata only had to convince this guy to take her straight to see the Mizukage, where she would get her mission, and get working on it as soon as possible. After successfully completing the said job, she would take Sasuke out and pay for all his eradicated drinks!

" That'll settle things for sure!" She exclaimed at the thought, Hinata turned back to Chojuro as he bowed, she peeked her head, seeing his Mother she quickly ducked down just low enough to be out of her view.

" Okay Mom, be careful." He rose a hand, as he turned a bit revealing Hinata crocheting. She didn't hesitate to fall to her knee, as she pretended to tie her boots laces. Hinata stood up,

" Goodbye." She waved her off, the older woman nodded.

" Yes, Bye to both of you." She waved back, she looked a bit bewildered as she spoke, " Take care of her?" She asked her son, Chojuro nodded as he walked back. Hinata bowed again, as Chojuro passed her up, walking ahead. Hastily, she sped to his side. His face was sullen, weird from any emotion she had seen.

" Is everything alright?" Hinata asked, Chojuro simply nodded, never turning back to face her. He sighed,

" Yes, it's okay." He mumbled, they steered straight, Hinata kept her gaze forward unwilling to stare at the boy. He rose his hand to his lips, rubbing them, understandable it was cold. She was shivering but he looked unfazed. " Have you thought of a place to stay?" Chojuro asked as they came upon a turn. He took the sharp turn, slowing down a bit waiting for her.

" No, but I think I'll decide when I and Sasuke meet-" He came to a sudden halt,

" About that, Hinata-san-" Hinata turned to him,

" Yes, what of it?" She asked in a kind tone, not alarming yet questioning.

" Will you be staying together?" Chojuro asked, Hinata flushed at the sudden question. She stuttered as she replied,

" W-w-what?" She asked, her knees knocked, Hinata's pale eyes shivered. Suddenly, Hinata felt a great heat growing inside the pit of her stomach, " W-why w-would y-you ever ask that?" Her lower lip quivered, as she lifted her fingers, fidgeting with them. Chojuro rose a brow,

" Sorry-" He said, as she tapped her index fingers together, " But, since you did come here with him, I was just guessing that-"

" You guessed wrong!" She exclaimed, her fist trembled as she held them to her side. They were held so tightly that her knuckles turned white.

" Oh, so you'll be staying in two different Hotels?" He asked Hinata rose her brow to match,

" No, no- We'll probably be staying in the same hotel, but you know different rooms." She waved her arms in front of her face, blocking her plum shaded face.

" I figured…" He mumbled lowly.

" Why? Is something wrong?" Hinata asked as she slumped her face over his. Chojuro shook his head,

" Nothing, it's just that... You know you're dating the Hokage... I just thought you would steer straight clear of him-" He paused as he saw a confused look cross over Hinata, " I know you wouldn't do anything with him, but I just wouldn't want to be close to any male figure if I were in your position." He circled his arm over his chest,

" Position?" Hinata asked,

" Yes, you know- dating the Hokage, begin the next Hyuga heir…" Hinata pressed her eyes closed,

" What does any of that have to do with me, or even Sasuke staying in the same hotel?" Hinata asked lifting her arms crossing them over her chest.

" Well, he is a man.. And not just any man, he's Naruto-sama's best friend."

" I'm not that kind of a woman." Hinata spat in radiance, Chojuro nodded but quickly added.

" I understand, but people talk. No one wants to be associated with an Uchiha, Hinata-sama." Hinata scoffed at this, with a subtle nod she chuckled.

" Listen, He and I are longtime friends. I knew his family. I knew his clan. I know him. Being associated with him has nothing to do with this mission, and I prefer we just not speak about this." She blurted, Chojuro wrinkled his nose,

" I agree, Hinata-sama." He spat through gritted teeth. Hinata opened her eyes and gave a small smirk,

" Oh!" She exclaimed. " Being associated with any high clan-" Hinata said, " Is a bad choice, Chojuro-kun." She mumbled lowly as he rose a brow to her.

The air was brutal, the wind sharpened its claws as it flew past him. People bubbled with glee as the flew past him, the town was filled with people waiting to go to work, school, or to even shop.

" Mum, you can leave me here today." Sasuke bubbled, Mikoto rose a brow to his comment.

" But- it's the first day?" She straightened her skirt as she lowered herself to meet his dark gaze, "Don't you want mommy with you?" She asked Sasuke shook his head.

" Nope, I'm a big boy!" He exclaimed with a proud fist to his chest.

" You wanna go sit with Hinata-chan, don't you?" She asked as her sight became a dull look.

" Yup, can't have her seeing you." He spat with little hesitation.

" I see.." She took in a deep breath, " It's okay, go on.. Have fun at school." She whimpered a bit taking up her scarf she patted her eyes, " It's not like I held you for nine months inside my body for nothing, or held you every time you cried, not to mention sit with you when you get a cold, or even-" Sasuke's smile faded but he quickly added,

" Thanks, mum, I knew you would understand." Mikoto looked dumbfounded but quickly she regained consciously,

" Tell Mrs. Hyuga hello-" She reached out adjusting his scarf. " Eat all of your lunch, listen to the teacher. Don't stare too long at Hinata-chan you might give her the creeps-"

" Mum you're not funny, please leave," Sasuke suggested, Mikoto nodded.

" I'll pick you up at three-ish?" She asked, Sasuke nodded. " Well then-" Mikoto took hold of her child, pulling him in. Sasuke's cheeks burned as he struggled to break the grip,

" Mum.. People are watching." He whispered, Mikoto let her head dig into his shoulder,

" Let them." She murmured and with an abrupt sigh she pulled herself back, " Have a nice day, Sasuke-chan." She smiled and with a final look, Sasuke gave her a wave before turning back. Mikoto could see him fade into the crowd of children, he never turned back. She knew,

" Turn back and you'll never really leave." She smirked as she lifted a hand to rub her face. " Well time to go buy some groceries!" She exclaimed with proudness, " I'll make his favorite, Tomato yakisoba, with a grilled tomato to top it!" She rose her fist next to her face.
