Also, at the end of this chapter, go to my profile and vote in the poll. I really need people to vote because my next chapter depends on the result of the poll. Thank you and enjoy this one!

Disclaimer: Look at the first chapter, blah, blah, blah…

Runo's POV

After I yelled at Julie, I ran.

I shouldn't have done that, but I did. I keep pushing away the people who can help me.

I don't know what to do anymore.

My legs must have been running forever. Tears flowed out of me as I ran. That's all I ever did, chase after people, chase after Dan…only to feel horribly devastated when I catch up.

I collapsed to the ground, not wanting to get up. My face is streaked with dried tears. Why can't I stop crying?

Then she started talking. "My dear, what's wrong? Lost hope already?" She chuckled. "You humans are all so weak. You can't stick to your goals; your ideals, and always get sidetracked with emotions and this so called 'love.' Your race is untrue and unfaithful." Excruciating pain shot through me, and I clutched my heart.

"I have no use for you right now. Consider this as a parting gift." An image of her flashed in me, showing a wicked smirk, before disappearing. I fell unconscious, pain still coursing through me.

Dan's POV

It's been a week since I last saw Miku.

By now, I had to admit that Miku has caught my attention. She looks so much like Runo; in fact the similarities are striking. However, Runo still has that burning passion, except that passion has turned into complete anger.

I sighed as I walked to the door of my house, getting ready to head out to Miku's concert. My mom peek her head out from the living room.

"Where are you going, Dan?" she asked. I turned and gave a small smile.

"Going to another one of Miku's concerts. Why?" My mom also gave a small smile. "Seems like you found a different idol." I felt my face burn a little, but then her smile turned into a frown.

"Dan, Runo's parents called earlier. They said that they don't know what's wrong with Runo. When they went up to her room this morning, she kept calling your name in her sleep and tears were streaming down her face, but when she woke up, she was as energetic as she can be. They can tell when their daughter isn't her normal self. I was wondering if you could…" I gave a light sigh.

"I can't mom. I know how concerned you are, but I can't do anything. She's acting different around me, and she is trying to avoid me." My mom's frown grew bigger.

"Dan, I know that you will do the right thing, even if you make mistakes in the process." Her face brightens a bit. "Just…make sure when you finally realize your mistakes, you fix them right away." I nodded, absorbing this advice into my head.

She smiled again. "Well, have fun at your concert." I nodded again and walked out the door. Drago appeared on my shoulder. "Your mom is cool," he said. I recalled the time I told mom about Drago and how she took it so calmly. "Yeah, she is a cool mom."

Third Person POV

And so, Dan headed off to one of many concerts that Miku had. Of course, he had a great time with Marucho, (all of Dan's tickets were given to him by Marucho because somehow, he always have one extra ticket.) but Dan was more concerned about how to get Runo to at least give him a chance to apologize. As the days passed, he grew more and more attached to Miku and less and less worried about Runo. At one point, he thought, "If she won't give me a chance, then there's no use." However, every time he had that thought in his head, the dream he had of her and her mom's advice rang in his ears, and he would try again.

On the other hand, Runo was trying so hard not to break. When she saw Dan at another one of her concerts, she couldn't move for a while. After every concert, she would stand there in her dressing room and asked herself why he would come. Not to mention that he was at EVERY single concert she had. Her manager tried to hold her concerts at places far from their building, but Miku had lots on competition. Every time they failed to get the place, Runo deflated a bit. However, after every concert, she would sit in her room and think about how Dan grew attached to Miku and how...faithful he was. Just like a fan. She would cry, like she would, but a small smile would grace her face without her knowing.

With Runo's spirit gone, she finally had the chance to tell Tigrerra everything that had happened. Her bakugan partner disagreed on her decision, but she couldn't help but feel pity towards Runo. This is a girl who wanted nothing more than a guy's attention. Even though Tigrerra didn't understand why her friend felt so much to Dan, she knew that it affected her a lot. And so, she would be her support, her shoulder to cry on, and her comfort.

Runo knew she can't keep this up for long and realized that she needed to tell someone this other than Tigrerra before it flowed into Miku's personality. She secretly asked Kato if she could borrow one of their planes. The servant seemed surprised, but went along with it. Although, he was quite curious why Runo would go to this destination:

Moscow, Russia.

Runo POV

I packed my things into a small, blue suitcase. My partner Tigrerra stood on top on it.

"My lady, what business do you have with such a faraway place?" I gave a little smile. "We're visiting an old friend." If she could, her eyes widen, as if she knew who.

"But, why her?" she asked. A small smile appeared on my face.

"You'll see."

I hear a whirling sound and turned up to see a descending helicopter landing onto the landing pad. Kato gestured over to the front of the flying contraption.

"Here you go, Miss Runo. Have a safe flight." I nodded as thanks and hopped on. Tigrerra plopped on my shoulder.

"Hopefully, she is able to help you Runo." Tigrerra said.

"I hope so too." I said.

The helicopter began to take flight and the only thought on my mind is "I hope that this works."

Meanwhile with Dan

Third Person POV

Julie was getting worried…and annoyed.

Runo was missing for two days already, and Dan didn't seem worried about it. Honestly, she was twitching when the other day, she saw the still naïve hero walk up to her, asking for a table and a drink, like nothing happened.

Her breaking point was today.

Here she was, witnessing the peanut gang (Dan and Marucho) plan yet another attempt to infiltrate the Vocaloid Productions building. It's times like these where she wondered why she bother with this. Dan suddenly sported a big smile as they finally came up with a plan. Julie didn't want Dan to find out about Runo's connection with Miku, but she had other things to take care of, too. Lately, Runo has been more upset and torn than before, and now she has disappeared. After all that has taken place, she decided that she had to give Dan a serious chat.

"Dan Kuso," Julie pointed at Dan and make a "come here" motion, "We need to talk."

Runo's POV

I could see the white mountains and the little cottages a few hours later.

The helicopter touched down near a snow-covered lab. A little, pale yellow house was placed next to it. The surrounding areas were huge amounts of trees. Basically, we were in the middle of a forest, but I didn't mind.

I personally thanked the pilot and watched him as he flew off. I sighed. This place gives me so many memories, both good and bad. My hand went to clutch my chest as I head to the door.

I gave a knock, and an orange-haired girl opened the door. Her hair was waist-length, and her eyes held some sparkle. She adorned a pale pink dress with ribbons in the back, and brown knee-high boots.

My friend, who I hadn't talked to in forever, Alice.

She seemed genuinely surprised to see me, but she gave a friendly smile and embraced me.

"How are you doing Runo? I hope you're doing well." I gave a sad smile. "It's good to see you, Alice, but may I ask you a favor?" Alice's head tilt to the side. "A favor?"

I grabbed the cup of tea that Alice gave me and sipped from it. Alice sat across from me, also sipping some tea.

"So you want me to help you get to Neathia by using the dimensional device in my grandfather's lab?" Alice recapped what I said. I nodded, and she looked down solemnly.

"Look, Runo, I know how much Dan hurt you, but what business do you have there?" My bakugan, Tigrerra, must have been giving the same expression as Alice. I sighed. "It's really nothing major." I replied.

My orange-haired friend shook her head. "Then why should I bother?" she asked. I felt like crying to gain her sympathy, but I know it's no use.

"Fine, I'm sorry I asked, Alice, but do you mind if I stay here for a while? I want to make up some lost time." Alice gave a smile and nodded.

Third Person POV

Runo stayed with Alice for four days. Over that time, Runo filled her in on the events after New Vestroia. Her friend seemed interested, especially when the Mechagons came into the picture.

When Runo asked what became of her grandfather, Alice tear up a bit before saying that he died a few years ago. He left her a lot of wealth, but she didn't have enough to move out. Besides, she couldn't move away from her homeland; she couldn't bear to leave her comfy home. Alice polished up the dimensional transportation device that her grandfather left her as a kind of memento of him. Runo seemed awed that Alice can not only make it seem good as new, but also operate it.

The final day came as Runo headed off to leave, but before she did, she had a conversion with Tigrerra.

"I guess that didn't work. Looks like I might have to sneak in Marucho's lab." Runo sighed. Her partner hopped on her shoulder. "Maybe if you explain it to Alice, she could help you. Runo, even I don't know why you want to go there." Tigrerra commented.

Runo replied, "It's because…I'm not going to take you to Neathia." The Haos bakugan gave a shocked expression.

"But why?"

"Because I just wanted to talk to, you know, her."

"You mean, that person who has been…" Runo cut her off.

"No not her. I want to get away from her, but I can't break our deal."

Tigrerra sulked. Her master was as stubborn as ever. Hopefully it changes soon.

They didn't realize that Alice was eavesdropping on them and were shocked when she opened the door and gave a smile.

"Well, that wasn't too hard to say, right Runo?" Her blue-haired friend widened her eyes and soon gave Alice a big hug.

Later…

"Configuration complete. Target locked on. Runo, you ready?" Alice put on her goggles and looked towards the girl in the device. She gave a nod.

Tigrerra looked at her and told her to have a safe journey. Her master nodded before turning her back at them. Alice typed some stuff in, and then pulled a lever. The device glowed with a bright white light and in an instant, disappeared, taking with it the blue-haired idol.
