I think with my line of work and trying to write chapters for Fanfiction stories is hard on me so..
Sorry that took forever. I can only say now that I will keep writing this, just that I won't get chapters out so often. Updated and ready.
I am also in some need of a proofreader, I had someone doing it once but she's busy with her own life so yeah. From now on these will be... uncut i guess? in other words for those who cringe at bad writing just have to deal with it for now until I can work something out. XD
Disclaimer; I do not own Negima. But that does not mean that I will shy away from the occasional OCing the characters a little and kill/harm them Like i did already.
Alberio Imma stood on a spire watching the battle above unfold. The air was literally shaking as both Evangeline and Souske battled in a physical fight which the latter keeping pretty equal with the Vampire.
"*whistle* He's keeping up with Kitty..." he said to himself. The battle in the air only intensifying.
Souske charged at Eva to close the distance and tried a roundhouse kick to her head, while she just kicked at him. The force caused a shockwave of air to pillow up and expand outward. Eva had blocked his leg with her upper arm, but was surprised when he had done the same. "Gah.." She spun and kicked him hard in the stomach and as he flew with a "Oof!'' She immediately began casting magic.
"Lic Lac La Lac Lilac; Iaculatio Grandinis x1,000!" Like that, a thousand ice spears formed and descended upon him.
"Tch..." As the spears came at him Souske had to either dodge or counter by using His own spell, I think 30% should do.. His calmness did not go unnoticed by his opponent.
The Assistant had been watching close by, noting that there has been quite a gathering on many people around watching the fight, Humans and Lizard men. Are you going to use your magic?
Souske had decided to deal with the repercussions later, and activated his own magic. He quietly spoke his activation keyword followed by, "Obey the Contract and Serve me. Gather, 1,500 Spirits of Flame; Apes Igniferae!" the 1,000+ wasp like projectiles appeared and fired and exploded upon contact with the ice spears. Due to his level of power the explosions from the spells seemed more massive than usual, as it lit up the sky giving a thunderous roar that shattered windows.
Did I overdo it? he though to himself as Eva came flying at him fiercely giving him no time to counter. She's faster than me?! damn.. As soon as she touched him she said, "Gelidus Capulus." In mid air too!
That was all he thought of when his entire body was then encased in Ice. With That she then moved away from him just as quickly.
"My my Kitty, that was impressive." said a certain person who appeared nearby. "Shut up." she responded coldly. "Oh don't be like that. After all if I didn't jump in that time you would have had a nasty sunburn." he responded playfully.
As they stared at the frozen enemy, it seemed that down below there was a commotion. "My... looks like things got heated down there..."
"Hey Perverted Eggplant, don't let your guard down." She said sharply.
"I know I know.. How long do we have?"
"3 seconds.."
Right then, the Ice coffin exploded as a twister of fire raged and exploded outward creating a shock wave. "Seems like he wont be finished with just that.." she said.
Souske's silhouette could be seen in the remaining fire storm. But when he fully emerged, he was completely unharmed. Al responded to that saying, "Oh my, he is tough.."
"What a pain..." she said in exasperation.
Souske stood there amused. "I would have thought that you would know better than that. Such half hearted spells don't work on me."
"I guess I did hold back quite a bit, but I really just wanted to capture you." She responded.
"You are taking me to lightly..." he said darkly.
"I should say the same for you..."
The air tensed as Al started to move for something in his pocket saying, "This is like fighting a hidden Super Boss..." Eva shushed him, "Be careful, something is wrong.." He blinked at her before smiling. "Well, lets get to it shall we?"
They charged and at the center, a massive shock wave erupted hundreds of meters above the school, which the riots get quelled during this by the Lizardmen, most of the people involved were taken straight to the portal for their 'reeducation' as soon as their leader reemerged.
As this went one, two people hidden in this group and was seemingly unseen.
"This is scary.."
"Don't worry Natsume-neechan, they wont see us. We'll go in and bust the others out."
"Katarou-kun.." the girl using her artifact was timidly following the dog eared boy to the portal, well more like being carried in a princess hold. No one even knew about the duo who had not been around during the invasion.
They were not inhibited, and their actions from what these two were about to do would shake down all the plans both sides have had. Not even the Assistant noticed as the the boy jumped with the girl in tow out of the crowd towards the portal.
*RISE*OF*DARKNESS*
Meanwhile, hundreds of miles away, in a village where a group of people had hidden Setsuna and Konoka, a dark shadow wearing a hooded cloak like the others,was standing with the man in charge of the assault.
The Leader in question quelled the 'excited' figure saying, "Be careful that you don't break the spell, Quindecim"
"I don't care, as long as i get to kill the one who made a fool out of me.."
"Don't make the same mistakes as Quattuordecim did now."
"..." the figure turned away. "That fool was nowhere near my level..."
"Even so, we are to meet with our contact, get the information of the girls' whereabouts, capture them..." He stared sternly at the surroundings. "And Kill anyone who resists."

Sophia had just got back to the 'barracks' which was just a large house, where she stayed with the girls after a routine patrol for the night.
"Hello!" she said with a cheery voice.
Setsuna, who was sitting in a chair by a sleeping konoka, looked over and smiled, "Hi takeshi-san."
The catgirl walked over saying, "Still moping I see.." She stopped at the sword women's side and looked at the sleeping princess. "I get that you'r worried, but i am pretty sure that she'll regain herself after a time."
"I know but..." she started.
"No buts." she said slapping her back, "Just because she's in this state does not mean you need to mope, she's still fully capable to knowing what your doing right now." Sophia had explained to Setsuna literally six times that Konoka is in an coma due to her magic going haywire after the artifact got stolen, which just went dormant state due to the 'danger' that artifact stealing device did. It's possible to get to reversed, but it may be better to just do a Pactio again when she wakes.
But as usual, it seemed that she really was a birdbrain. "Come with me." the catgirl suddenly said grabbing Setsuna by the arm suddenly, who in shock tried resisting, Hey wait!" She tried to pull away, but realized that this girl was really strong for her size. "No waiting!"
Dragging her outside, Sophia had pulled Setsuna to the backyard, which was massive by the way, and she literally threw the girl to the other side of the yard. Setsuna quickly recovered but was barely able to catch a... Wooden sword?
She looked at her friend who was also hold a sword.
Resting the point of her wooden sword to the ground, Sophia declared, "You got two options. 1; Defeat me and protect your Ojou-sama. And 2; Leave and never come back."
She was bewildered, "What is this about?"
"You damn well know what this is about!" she almost yelled, "You'r friend almost gets killed, she's still alive and yet all you do is mope!"
"Well of course! this isn't easy for me you know?!" she yelled back.
"What the hell does that mean huh?! You going to tell me that cliche crap that you weren't strong enough to do anything? Big deal. Your enemy had a power that you did not factor in!" Suddenly, the air exploded from the catgirl, "So in typical fashion, you let yourself get struck down so easily!"
"!" Setsuna could only block the quick attack towards her head, Damn! She was forced back hard as she flew, and she wasn't able to regain herself before Sophia appeared right in her trajectory, "And now you've become weak." She stopped setsuna dead in the air causing her to cry out from the force of her body wrapping around the girls' arm. Sophia stepped back pulling her fist away, fell the the ground and kicked setsuna upwards high into the air. She then chanted, but only half was heard, "Hear the call..." the rest was lost in the wind as she vanished.
Setsuna could only feel the pain that rocked her body. Was she always this strong? she thought to herself while she managed to stop herself and turning towards the ground. Only to suddenly look back as the Catgirl was above her, rm wrapped in a familiar magic spell, "Jovis Tempestas Fulguriens"
Setsuna turned quickly but it was too late, the spell had already been completed and she was sent down into the ground with the full force of the spell. When it landed, the ground shook as the wind and lightning spell exploded.
Setsuna then flew out from the ground zero with her wings out. Sophia had started to fall saying, "Good.. Your reaction was great there, but..." using empty air instant movement, she vanished as Setsuna thought to herself as she flew away from the spot of the spell, I forgot that she used lightning magic! The ninja girl reappeared close by chasing her, "You forgot how i fight! Fulguratio Albicans!" The blast of electricity came out of her palms and setsuna had just barely dodged it.
But Sophia wasn't done yet. When Setsuna touched the ground to stop herself, the Catgirl was already behind her, actually, her hand was on the Half-bird's back which stopped her completely. Setsuna went and tried to strike her, but she jumped back quickly. She really was using those cat-like reflexes to her advantage.
I wasn't able to read her at all...
"I can't believe it.." She finally said. Setsuna then asked, "What is it?"
Sophia sighed, "Why are you holding back?"
The question caught her off guard, but soon afterward, a explosion occurred just outside the village. cause both fighters to stop what they were doing and felt a sense of dread. "This fight is postponed, Go get Konoka!" she ordered setsuna.
"What about you?"
"Just go! I'll meet you at the portal!"
The fight had to wait for now, was it because of that light show before? no... this was different. Sophia was sensing familiar signatures... How did they find this place?!"
*RISE*OF*DARKNESS
Explosions roared above Mahora Academy, small black holes and thousands of Ice spears and other spells were being countered by Souske's magic which consisted of abnormally powerful fire spells.
The two facing the unmovable enemy are Evangeline a.k Mcdowell, and Albireo Imma. The fight was at a stalemate even though she herself had yet to use Magia Erebea.
"He's very persistent..." Al decided to comment.
Eva stayed silent. She was feeling something was very much wrong with this Souske. He's fighting two of some of the most powerful mages in history yet he is treating it like a game. Why? She felt an enormous coming from him when he fought and defeated Negi, but they had already gone beyond that level of power.
"It seems that you are not an ordinary brat..."
Souske shook his head at her remark. "No. I am anything but ordinary. As your protege learned, fighting me is like punching a mountain hoping to move it."
Eva replied, "So, you're a mountain?" She looked down, raising her hand up. If this didn't work, then at least she could force him to use some more power. "Emissia Stagnet, Ice Majesty of a Thousand Years."
Al moved two steps back as Evangeline began to use her ultimate power. To which Souske stood his ground.
"Complexio." The spot where she stood exploded lightly, and Souske pulled his left foot back and got into a fighting stance. When she revealed herself, her skin and clothing were pale white, and ice was forming around her. "Pro Armatione; Queen of Ice"
The sky and the ground below suddenly exploded, everything was becoming ice, even the moisture in the air started to freeze and Al shivered a little. "Hope i don't catch a cold.." he muttered. The Lizard men below were effected more by the cold than the humans were.
The Ice Queen looked at the bastard behind this mess, said man was looking at the area around him and below.
"It seems that I may have underestimated you... your power is many times over that of Negi Springfield, and yet it seems you'r not even trying to freeze everything.."
"Ever since the boy returned and we had our bout, I have been improving my Magia Erebea considerably."
"I see... so you entered the second scroll."
Eva stared at him, the feeling of his soul being pierced made his sweat. So this was what it was like to stand before a God like being. he thought.
"Then, I shall end this farce once and for all.."
Both Evangeline and Souske vanished from their positions, and from then on a fight that broke the sound barrier many times over had begun. Even al had a hard time keeping up. "But if you continue to fight at this pace... You won't win, Kitty..."
Afterimages of the two fighting appeared all over the place, it truly was spectacular.
It ended when both combatants had countered each others kicks and jumped back.
"Heh.."
Souske was not completely out of the woods. It seemed that he truly did underestimate her. "This could be bad for me.."
"Shut up, I may have gotten a few hits in, but none of them were that effective."
True enough, she had hit him at least thirteen times, he was not able to give those back. but he was not really hurt at all, well, he had at least four broken ribs.
"Sure enough.. Though if this keeps up i will actually be defeated..."
He stretched his hands out and Eva kind of moved back slightly, then instantly knew what he was going to do the same time Al had. "So you were using it.." she said.
Souske's hands started to glow, of course he was able to survive that, only because of this ability.
"Yes, though I only used a little, but thanks to you i now know that was to Arrogant of me." The next thing he said made Eva back up a little further. "Magic in the right hand, ki in the left.. Combine!" Clapping the two together, Souske had just demonstrated his ability to use what is known as the Ultimate art.
"Kanka. the ability that that allows the user to enhance every faucet of his ability." The explosion made from it shattered the ice around him for about three meters. It however slowly started to freeze up again. but he was not as effected as before.
"so the cat is out of the bag huh?" joked Al.
"it's time you two exit this stage." Both moved forward, and then they both clashed once again, but suddenly Souske was flipped several times past Eva. he regained himself and smirked, "Aikido? not bad..."
He moved his arm up and everything around Eva exploded. "Explosion." were the last words he said as the sky was engulfed in a massive blast.

It didn't seem right to order setsuna around, but Sophia didn't even let her even talk about it before going off to where the explosions came from.
She ran quickly towards the disruption, and when she got close enough the cloaks of those who were after Setsuna and konoka were standiong right there, one of them fighting..
"Richard!" she called out to him surprising him.
"No get back!"
One of the intruders turned and laughed,"Oh look, another Kitten.." His movement towards her was so fast that she wasn't able to move. Blackness covered her eyes as a clang would be heard as she was being pushed.. Opening them, she found out that she had her eyes were closed and her brother was standing between them.
"You need to get the others out of here! You know the way, I'll hold them off. Go!" he yelled fiercely.
"Right." she seemed to scoot back before finally running. She looked over her shoulder as she ran back, her brother had just pushed the aggressor back. She would normally argue and fight back, but something felt very off about him. Urgency? and why hasn't one of them come after her?
Just as she thought of that, the area behind her exploded in a fierce whirlwind of fire.
She stopped for a moment to look back before turning around and leaving towards the portal.
So, I decided to leave it at that for now. because i took way too long doing this a piece at a time instead of just writing it hahaha.
And if this fic is still pretty good despite my horrid writing, I'll be making a sequel, as the ending could either lead to it or not depending on how much of an ass I'll be.
Trivia; in terms of skill and power, Sophia and Setsuna are Equal. the former having higher reflexes.(there is backstory to that later)
Trivia 2; The reason Sophia did better against Quattuordecim is purely because setsuna was emotionally unstable and was not at top form due to trying to get away from the lizard men with konoka, as she used too much Ki at this point.(she was awake pretty much that entire time)
Trivia 3; Souske is supposed to be OP as F*ck, and i have a legit reason for it. So, don't get mad at me XD
