Chapter 2
Wife?
"Kallie." Jack smiled and picked her up off the floor, spinning her round so his coat billowed out behind him. She giggled before kissing him, with verve and passion of past years- almost as if they had never been apart, John sighed.
They broke apart, lipstick smudged on Jack's lips and he returned her to her feet. She walked over to John and kissed him too, full on the mouth- only for a split second before she pulled back and slapped him, the sound loud and reminiscent of a bullet being fired from a gun.
"Ow!" John complained cupping his cheek. "What was that for?"
"For leaving me in the temple of Adrixus when Atlantis fell. I could have drowned!" Kallie said angrily through gritted teeth.
"You did what?!" Jack shouted in just as much anger. "You put my wife... MY WIFE, in danger and left her there?" John backed away and jumped behind the bar as Jack stalked towards him.
"Wife?" The team echoed.
"Husband, stand down. You can kill him later." Kallie commanded and Jack stepped back and turned to her.
"Where are we? In our timeline I mean." Jack asked, his hands holding hers.
"Susan's 4 months old. I've just left her with mum." Kallie smiled and Jack hugged her tightly.
"Missed you. Miss her too."
"We miss you too." Kallie said and kissed him once more, tenderly before Jack took her hand and led everyone away back to Torchwood.
