I missed him.

I wasn't sure why but I was sure that I missed him.

Apart from the first night of our friendship, in which we had both had an extremely deep and intense conversation, we had never spent such a long time together. He would wink at me, or tell a lame joke, or ask me how my day was being. Nothing much, but I missed it. I missed it all.

And missing him made me miserable, even more than I was before. I didn't sleep. I barely ate. I talked as little as possible. As I said, I was miserable.

I wouldn't let that get in the way of what had to be done, though.

As soon as Liv was out of the Hospital Wing, two days after James' and my fight, I dragged her to our shared room and conjured a chalkboard (Liv concentrated better on Muggle things) on which I wrote a plan.

Step 1: FRIEKIN' TELL LOUIS THAT YOU'RE PREGNANT.

That was the only step, but it was a pretty darn good first step.

Liv did not agree with me, judging by her grumpy expression.

"Liv, darling. Stop frowning. You don't want your face to stay like that, do you now?"

She frowned harder, staying silent for a minute before eventually exploding.

"But Rebeckah! How am I supposed to tell him that? I'm not brave! He'll hate me forever! Plus, what do I even say?"

I sighed. "Okay, Livvy. You have to tell him eventually, right? So considering that he's a boy, and boys tend to be very slow, what you have to do is tell him, and then run off and give him some time to process it all, yeah?"

She nodded slowly, but didn't move.

"Come on, I'll help you look for him and then I'll leave you alone to tell him., and after you do I'll be waiting for you to tell me how it went, yeah?"

She nodded slowly again, still not moving a finger.

"Oh come on." With that, I grabbed her by the wrist and dragged her (I seem to do a lot of that dragging thing) out of the room, ignoring her protests.

As it was time for dinner, I assumed that Deer-boy would be in the Great Hall, and so I took us both there. When we were almost there, I found an empty classroom and told Liv to wait there.

I squeezed her hand before leaving the class, closing the door softly behind me.

Then, I went to the Great Hall. I closed my eyes, breathing deeply before walking into the hall and heading straight to the Gryffindor table, chin up, shoulders back, and trying to look at anyone but Potter. Which was kind of hard, considering that he was sitting right next to Louis.

I managed though, tapping Louis on the shoulder impatiently. He turned around, deer-eyes full of curiosity.

"Hello, Rebeckah. How are you? Do you know where Liv's at?"

I looked away from his too-kind face, unfortunately looking over at James in the process. God, it hurt.

I missed him.

I could practically hear him call me fat, over and over.

I don't know which hurt more. It just hurt a lot.

"Umm, Rebeckah?" Louis asked from beside me.

"What?" I focused on him again. "Oh, right. I need to tell you something. Or show you something. Or whatever. Just come with me, okay?"

"Umm, okay." He finally said, looking at me as if I were weird or something (crazy, right?) before standing up and gesturing for me to go on. "Lead the way."

He followed me to the classroom in which I had left Liv, and I peeked in to make sure she was still there before turning to face him. "Okay Louis. So Liv's in there, and she has to tell you something that's very important. I'm sorry we've been so weird lately. Just listen to Liv, okay?"

He nodded slowly and I smiled as I watched him walk inside the room. I closed the door behind them and went up to the dorms.

Would Liv come running to talk to me or would she and Louis talk things through entirely? Would everything be okay? What would they even do? Would they raise the baby together? Would they give him/her up for adoption? What would their parents say?

I was sure of one thing. This was not going to be easy.

AN: so yes, I'm horrible. It's been too long and this is too short and I'm really sorry. Okay so Fionamoi, thank you so so much for your review. I LOVE constructive criticism and I kind of agree with you, so I changed a bit of chapter 7, I think it was, so that you could kind of know a bit more. I didn't do it very well, though, because I'm too lazy. Anyway, thank you so so much for reviewing.

Everyone else, THANK YOU FOR READING, you're awesome and I love you and yay you.
