Chapter 6

River and the Doctor go on an adventure.

They'd just lost the Ponds, Amy and Rory, and the Doctor and River were floating mindlessly in space. The Doctor was grieving and River was too, but she wasn't showing it. River had given her mother a present in her memories when she went to return to Rory. She'd shown her the family she and the doctor would have, in his future and in her past. She thought, without consulting her diary, that to cheer him up she would introduce him to his family. To his children, their two sons and daughter. The pride and joy of their lives. Only trouble was finding her daughter and sons in the right section of their timeline.

She thought hard, Before picking up her battered book and searching for the day they met their father, she had documented it, along with each of their conceptions with extreme details. She found where her daughter was before setting co-ordinates to latch on to her vortex manipulator and sending a message via psychic paper to her sons to meet them also at the same time.

The doctor walked over to her and wrapped his arms around her. She smiled. "Hello, sweetie."

"I'm sorry River, they were your parents." The doctor said in her ear.

"Its alright, I had some time with them, that's all that matters. And I still have you." She turned, leaning back against the console so she faced him.

The doctor smiled. "I suppose so," he looked up at the screen with the co-ordinates on it and then back to River. "Oh, River, you bad, bad girl, where are you taking me?" He flirted.

"On an adventure... Or two." She replied, flirting back as she ran her hand down his chest. He smiled and cocked an eyebrow at her before she kissed him and took his hand to lead him down the endless corridors to their bedroom.

By the time they landed, river had taken the doctor on one adventure, now came the second. Her hair was loose now and tumbling in a mass around her head. Her black dress was back in place and she looked as gorgeous as ever, or at least the doctor thought so. He was retyping his bow tie as she opened the door.

"Hello, Kallie, sweetie." River said and a young woman's voice spoke- a girl with a Scottish accent.

"Hello, mum." Then a thud occurred and a group of people panicked and rushed to aid the woman as she collapsed.
