The next day, Hana went back to class.

Kind of,

Actually it was more like she was skipping class to play hooky again.

But it wasn't on purpose, it was just that sometimes she had the urge to explore the grounds of the school.

At the moment she was sitting on the roof of the building gazing at the blooming flowers. Taking deep breaths of the clean cool air. The school garden was rather limited but it was still beautiful. She particularly liked the lilacs that grew here.

She knew she had promised to eat lunch with Tsukumo, but it made her a little uneasy. She'd had this strange feeling that she knew them beforehand, but as to when she was unsure herself.

Are you looking for Luzé?

Hana blinked noticing the little bird on her shoulder. Do you know where he is?

Right when she asked a black little puff ball jumped to her side. She blinked at the abnormal creature. It looked similar to a black bunny except it had these small black wings and it's tail looked to be in the shape of an arrow? In between its yellow jewel like eyes was a red circle that looked to be a jewel.

No matter how she looked at it. It wasn't a human creature.

She smiled petting the small creature.

Now where did you come from little one? She affectionately petted the black furball in her hand.

She wasn't sure if her 'voice' could reach this creature.

It looked pleased and purred slightly.

She silently chuckled. I've never seen you before. Are you waiting for someone?

The little creature squeaked happily rubbing it's cheek on her own.

She spent the rest of the day on the roof with the birds and the black furry creature.

Hana was enjoying herself with her sketchbook next to her with them.

At the moment, it had been open to the page where she had drawn her sketch of Luzé. It was an exact replica of Luzé, but in the way she saw him.

She blinked realizing she had been forgetting something.

What is your name?

She asked telepathically to the creature. She chuckled inwardly knowing she probably wouldn't get an answer.

Hana smiled knowingly, continuing her sketch of Luzé for a little while. She had begun to notice that Luzé never changed out of the uniform he always wore.

She turned her head at the sound of the unfamiliar voice to be faced with a tanned child with black... cat ears? There was a collar around his neck and he seemed to be wearing a white sleeveless shirt and black shorts along with elbow length fingerless gloves.

"Sodom"

Well Sodom, are you waiting for someone?

"Sodom is waiting for Master and Yukki."

She tilted her head at the word 'Master' Who is your Master?

Sodom grinned pointing to the face she was drawing. "Master."

Her blue green eyes widened in surprise. Was this boy... really connected to Luzé?

Do you know where he is? She asked curious. Hana was always at a loss as to where to find Luzé. She missed his presence.

Sodom brightened "Sodom can take you." He took her hand pulling her to follow him.

Startled she almost slid off the roof, she gasped when she caught her footing. She still held her sketchbook in her arms. Sodom could you go a little slower? She was after all on the third story roof.

"Okey" Sodom responded holding onto her hand to help support her. Sodom wasn't sure why he jumped to this girl's side, but he could smell that she wasn't a bad person. He was urging her to go down by scaling down the roof and she wasn't arguing about Sodom's method. Did this mean she was the same as the Zweilt?

She bit her lip determined to get down, but of course she had to trip over nothing. She was leaning forward way too fast that she let go of Sodom's hand.

She was falling.

Falling face first into the ground.

She couldn't even scream, all she could do was close her eyes and await impact.

The wind was hurting her ears as she fell. She didn't know how bad her injuries would be.

Except she never felt the impact of her fall.

Rather than feeling the grass on her back, she felt two strong arms one her back and under her knees. Opening one eye she realized she had been saved by a pair of strong pale arms. She was clinging to the unknown person's shirt, but she heard Sodom.

"Master, you saved her."

"Sodom why did she fall from the roof?"

"I'm sorry Master." Sodom apologized with unshed tears. "It's my fault."

The man let her down, but she recognized the similar voice. It wasn't like Luzé's but it was definitely similar. She backed away when she was set down to take a better look at the man's face.

She had to strain her neck up to meet the man's eyes.

It was Luzé's face.

There was no mistake.

But this man's eyes were not an amethyst violet, like her Luzé's.

They were silver.

Her eyes widened at the man's resmblance to Luzé except for the fact that Luzé's hair was longer and their eye colour not to mention their clothing choices they looked exactly alike.

Perhaps were they twins?

She never asked so she could have been wrong but the resemblance was uncanny.

She looked away quickly to avoid getting caught staring.

She smiled innocently unsure how to ask a personal question.

Luka gave her a fleeting glance before asking.

"Are you alright?"

She nodded before scribbling a quick thank you.

Luka blinked surprised at her form of communication.

Was she not able to talk?

She wrote. Thank you for catching me. You're not hurt are you?

She frowned worried that the catch could have injured his arms.

Luka blinked surprised that she wasn't like the other high school girls who usually gawked at him. She seemed the competent sort, the kind to worry about others.

She was also analyzing the tall pale man in front of. Him and Luzé looked exactly the same that it was... unsettling.

But there was one important similarity.

The flowers were crying for them.

She hadn't made note of it before because she had grown used to it. But she could hear the tears the flowers shed for these two.

They were sad people. They had the weight of betrayal on their shoulders.

But she didn't have the heart to tell them that.

Luka on the other was inwardly surprised at her appearance. The only reason why he had went out of his way to save her was the fact she resembled Yuki's female form from his memories.

From the way she smiled to herself, Luka could tell she probably already knew this fact. Her blue green eyes lit up in amusement.

"What is it?" He asked not sure why she was so amused.

She shook her head before writing. No, it's just you look like someone I know. You two are very similar. Ah, but are you perhaps waiting for someone?

Luka was expressionless, but he slightly nodded.

I see. If you don't mind, would you mind if I sketched you while you wait?

"Why?"

I'm also waiting for someone. She responded on paper before flipping to a new page. She looked up as if asking him if she could draw him.

"Do what you want."

Luka turned his head not making eye contact as if to say with his body language that it didn't concern him. Sodom on the other hand had already warmed up to Hana snuggling against her legs taking a nap.

It was hard to suppress her laughter. They even had the same responses, but...

It made her miss Luzé even more.

Luka stayed still while she drew a sketch of him. Luka didn't seem to have any problem sitting still while she drew, but she felt there was more than one pair of eyes watching her.

Luka was also observing the young woman; there was something familiar about her, but he was having trouble remembering where he recognized her. But he knew it was somehow recent.

The only question was when?

The more he mused about his memory the more he forgot that she was still sketching him with strong determination.

Her expressions kept changing the longer she drew.

Sometimes she'd be frowning others she'd smile satisfied and other times she had her thinking face on.

Time passed by quickly when the bell range alerting the students of the end of classes. Students began filing out of the buildings and Luka even stood up to meet up with whomever he was waiting for. The same went for Sodom.

Before Luka left he turned back towards the young woman and muttered "I'm leaving first."

She blinked at his consideration to let her know of his leave rather than leaving without saying a word. She smiled gently and wrote. I'm sure he's waiting for you too. Here as thank you for keeping me company.

She ripped the page of her sketch book in which she had sketched Luka on and handed the paper to him along with a small bouquet of pink carnations and red roses.

Luka accepted her gift with a nod uncertain by her kindness. She and Yuki had similar auras not to mention they were kind and fragile and yet with a strong unwavering heart. Her blue green eyes seemed to keep many secrets that Luka had no knowledge of almost as if she knew he wasn't of this world.

I'm glad he has you by his side.

A gentle whisper in Luka's mind echoed making him blink in surprise. He turned noticing that the young blue greened eyed girl had already taken her leave waving goodbye from a distance.

She seemed to be in a hurry to leave. Perhaps she was going to meet the person she was waiting for?

Turning his head he began walking to meet Yuki and the others not knowing that this young girl was much more than just a passing human to both the Zweilt and Duras.

As for Hana, she began making her way towards a more old fashioned part of the city to visit her flower shop. It was daily routine for her to stay at the flower shop for a couple hours to work. On the other hand it was probably odd for her to open her shop so late in the day.

It wash't a popular flower shop, but that was fine with her. She didn't have enough hands to handle many requests anyways.

As she made her way she could feel a pair of eyes on her. It didn't give her a weird feeling, somehow it made her feel safe and warm inside.

However today it was a little hostile.

She wanted to call out to him, but she wasn't sure if it was okay to. While she was musing whether to call him or not she felt her foot missing a step down the twenty step staircase down causing her to lean down heading for the ground.

Her blue green eyes widened in surprise as she felt herself falling for the second time.

"Can't you walk without falling?" A familiar voice warned her as she felt warms wrap around her form before she hit the ground.

She could only stare in surprise at his quick reflexes; she had assumed that he would be watching from quite a far distance.

Luzé, where did you come from?

Honestly, to think she was more concerned about where he'd been than her own safety twice. She was such a defenceless human that he found it almost hard to comprehend.

"I told you to be careful." He muttered a little annoyed that she wasn't taking his warnings very seriously.

She smiled apologetically. Gomen ne, but I wasn't worried.

Luzé was astonished at her confidence. "Why?"

She blushed a light pink that coloured her pale cheeks which caused her to hide her face in his chest in which he stiffened not sure what to do in such a situation.

I had a feeling that you would be there to catch me if I fell. She telepathically conveyed to him in a timid tone.

I'm sorry. I must sound really conceited to say such a thing. She apologized with an uncertain look in her usually calm serene expression as she tilted her head to meet his amethyst eyes. But that's how I honestly feel.

He was at a loss at what to say. She was way too adorable when she was being meek.

Shoot. Even his words were enough to make him blush. There was no way he could be as honest as her about his opinions.

"It's...fine." Was all he could muster out. Thank goodness he was wearing a hat. She wouldn't be able to see his conflicting expression.

Really?

"I don't mind, being the one... to catch you." Luzé responded quietly unused to speaking like this to a person. Most women he had met didn't need his protection, but Hana was much more fragile than a Duras. He gently ran his fingers through a lock of her hair and lightly placed his lips slowly to her head to reassure her that he didn't mind.

It worked since she sighed wordlessly with a relieved smile. She accepted his touch so naturally that it was abnormal to him.

She blinked unknowingly. I see. Then shall we visit my shop?

He nodded in response. She smiled and was about to lead the way but...

Before she could lead the way he grabbed hold of her hand in a flustered manner.

She tilted her head sideways her way of asking "What's wrong"

He gritted his teeth as he remembered the way his older brother had held this beautiful young woman, arms that weren't his. It annoyed the young soldier to no end. Especially since he and Luka had the same face it didn't sit well with the violet eyed opast. He leaned his head and mustered in a low whisper in her ear not brave enough to say those embarrassing words out loud.

"Don't let another man touch you."

He couldn't look straight at her when he said this. He added "Only I'm allowed to hold you."

She blinked clueless at his implication, but in any case she smiled easily holding tight to his gloved hand.

It made her feel warm inside to think he thought of her in such high regard.

Ok. I don't mind if it's only you.

They laced their fingers together and headed off towards her flower shop hand in hand.

Somehow Luzé felt that he was being dragged around at her pace far too easily than should be normal. But taking things nice and slow didn't sound to bad. It was a change from the violent he had lived through for so long.

But it made him uneasy at the same time. Because where there was light there was darkness. All Luzé could hope was that she would be shielded from the violence of the world he lived in for just a little longer.

She looked back at his face noticing his uneasy stoic expression, but didn't comment. She couldn't shake of the being of eyes watching their every move. Almost as if she could hear the danger, Hana unconsciously shivered almost as if she anticipated their hostility from her unknown spectators.

Hopefully it was just her imagination.

But her hopes were not rewarded.

It was a shame to think they were seen by a formidable foe. Standing on top of a high office building were three other figures that wore the same military uniform as Luzé one silver haired woman and the other a red headed male who smirked at the sight below him.

"Well, well, well, I guess not even Luzé can fight against his own blood." Cadenza chuckled darkly.

"Taking interest in a human woman, so much like his brother." Elegy pouted "All the good men always get taken by humans."

"Especially the Zess clan." She darkly added with a wicked smile.

Reiga watched with cold eyes at the pair walking in bliss not a care in the world. Luzé had said it himself; that he and him were similar. IN what way? While Luzé was busy with that human girl, he was in the midst of a war with Takashiro.

The roses Luzé left behind in Reiga's hideout were too beautiful to be nurtured by humans, and even Reiga had noticed the change in Luzé. Reiga now held the roses in his hand crushing the fragile stems and blooms letting them flutter out of his hands and into the wind. This feeble human girl was the reason Luzé was different from when he first summoned him. There was a more gentle aura around the young man that did not suit Reiga's need.

He didn't like it. It irked Reiga to see such a pleasant scene.

"Get rid of that girl. We don't need any distractions." Reiga ordered to the two turning his back to the scene down below. He readjusted his military hat that shadowed his eyes from his servants.

Elegy looked ecstatic at the chance to kill a human. She licked her lips already thinking of ways to kill her. "How do you want us to dispose of her?"

Cadenza wasn't interested in the task. He preferred to wait for the perfect time to crush Luzé spirit if she died.

Reiga halted his footsteps for only a moment before ordering in a cold tone to the two General Class'.

"Eliminate her as you see fit."

That is the end of chapter 4. I'm sorry for such a late update but it takes a while before I get my groove to finish a chapter. I've been meaning to finish quicker but I get caught up in my other stories and school.

I'm not sure if this is a sufficient update, but hopefully I've made it at least a little interesting?

May change it a little in some areas later on.

So now Luka has met Hana and now there are people after her. A few other of the Zweilt will appear in the next chapter at least... that's the plan. bit until then...

I'll do my best to update.

Review and comment on your thoughts on the chapters so far:)

Thanks for reading^_^
