A betrayal she was unaware of.

Luzé tightened his grip on his sword facing the Zweilt.

Cadenza grinned at his choice. "So you're going to abandon her in the face of duty."

Senshiro could only glare. So this was the type of man Luka's brother was. The type to betray someone so easily.

"You're despicable."

Luzé couldn't even fight back on his words. It was true. He was a coward for deciding this way. What choice did he have?

This was the best choice. If he obeyed now, then there was a slight chance that she could be saved. If he disobeyed he was afraid of what he'd do if Reiga gave him a direct order to kill her.

If he was made to do that… he wouldn't be able to fight against the order. He'd have no choice but to kill her, even if it was against his own will.

Facing the Zweilt, he could see the hatred in his eyes. This Zweilt's life for hers. Was he willing to make such a sacrifice?

He could already see what kind of expression she would make for his choice.

She'd loathed him. She wouldn't want him to sacrifice someone else for her. But… she had no idea what he was capable of.

He'd do it even if it meant she'd hate him.

Then all of a sudden tree roots wrapped around his arms and legs restricting all his movement. Not just him he realized, but everyone in the barrier that Zweilt had put up. Even Cadenza couldn't free himself from its grasp.

"What's going on?" Cadenza asked trying to break free from the roots.

"Why are these roots moving on their own?" Senshirou asked. The trees

There was a figure dressed in white with lavender hair and blue green eyes.

Even though her face was blurry he could still recognize the smile that made his heart race. She looked just like Hana except for the air and she appeared even more angelic.

"Hana" Luzé murmured almost in shock. Was she a duras as he had suspected? Upon noticing his fallen form, she placed a finger to her lips as if to tell him to keep her appearance a secret.

The girl smiled in a secretive way as she dissolved into mist and then he could himself becoming drowsy. He wasn't the only one.

Everyone was losing consciousness falling to the ground.

The barrier was dissolving but the mist remained shrouding everything in white.

"Honestly always causing trouble…" A new voice said within the mist. "Even though time is so limited."

Inside the mist, there stood someone with blue hair hair sitting in midair with the same blue green eyes as Hana. Except the man's eyes were much sharper staring at Luzé with disdain.

"It takes a wish to require a sacrifice, and a sacrifice to fulfill a wish," The unknown male smiled sadly "I still wonder why she prioritizes their lives over her own."

"Senshiro! What happened?" He could hear someone yell.

Luzé needed to get out of here. It was his time to escape before Elegy did something to Hana.

But she wasn't anywhere. He couldn't find her anywhere. Not at her store, not at her house she was nowhere to be found. Did Elegy take her to Infernus? Or had Reiga already disposed of her?

There was no one else he knew who knew of her existence. There was the Zweilt, but that was a dangerous move. But what choice did he have?

He watched as the silver haired Zweilt and his partner ran up to the fallen male.

"Why… are you guys-here?" Senshiro gasped trying to stay awake. Tsukumo was the first to jump in to explain.

"Hana told me that you might be in danger," He handed him the flower. "She sent your bird to the school."

"That's impossible though." Senshiro widened his eyes now fully awake. "That was meant for Kuroto."

"But why did she give the bird this flower?"

Yuki mustered in a faraway voice. "It's a rhododendron. They're meant to convey 'beware', as a warning to the receiver of danger."

"How could she know that Senshiro was in danger though?" Tooko asked worried.

No one could bring themselves to answer that question.

"More importantly, how do you know what the flower is supposed to mean?"

Yuki blinked surprised himself. He brought his hand to his mouth frowning. "I… I don't remember. Why do I know?"

Luka on the other hand was more worried about the Duras that hadn't left yet, still sitting on the ground. "Why… are you still here?"

Cadenza had made his escape before the other Zweilt appeared, but Luzé was still immobile.

Yuki noticed him taking a step towards him.

"Yuki." Luka said pulling him away from Luzé.

Luzé was ready to fight as any griping his sword tightly right about to spring into action.

He needed to go find Hana. There was no way she had been left unharmed by Elegy.

Kuroto came running towards them with a sense of urgency. "Senshirou!"

"She's not waking up. I don't know, there was a silver haired lady and then all of a sudden she disappeared in the mist."

Luzé sprung up already grabbing Kuroto by the collar. "Where is she?"

"What's it matter to you?" Kuroto bit back.

Luzé kept on glaring waiting for an answer.

"I don't know."

"Shuusei can you use your Eyes of God to find her?" Yuki asked.

"I can, but I need one of her personal belongings."

"Would the flowers do?"

"Something much more personal."

Luzé tightened the hand in his pocket as he slowly pulled out the ribbon she had given to him when they first met. The violet ribbon rested in his palm.

Yuki looked at his hand and to Luzé's face turned away from them. "Is this hers?"

Luzé didn't mutter a word still holding out the ribbon.

"That'll do." Shuusei said in approval.

Yuki reached out to Luzé fingering the ribbon between his fingers when he was hit with a memory that had been embedded into the hair accessory.

A woman stood outside an orphanage watching the children play, but there was a baby that had been placed on the steps outside the gates. She stepped towards it lifting the child out of the basket into her arms. The infant cooed and smiled content being in the woman's arms.

The woman had the same ash brown hair as he did and even though she wore a hood there was no doubt she was wearing the same violet ribbon. As she handed the child to the director the man asked, "Are you his mother?"

The woman merely smiled sadly while crying quietly at the same time.

She placed a flower in between the infant's small fingers. A small pink carnation.

The director, a short but stocky man said with conviction. "At least give the kid a name. He deserves that much."

Her eyes were hidden but there was no doubt that she was grieving having to leave her child.

The woman handed them a letter.

And she turned to leave without looking back.

That woman was Mizuki Shikibe.

But that was impossible. His mother had died in childbirth. Was this girl Hana somehow related to his birth? To his mother?

"Yuki is there something wrong?"

"No it's nothing." Yuki quickly smiled hiding his confusion. He handed the ribbon to Shuusei. "Here, the ribbon."

Shuusei nodded taking the ribbon into his hands and started murmuring the words to activate the spell.

In Shuusei's crystal ball, he could see the whole landscape but no sign of who they were looking for. He was getting an idea of where she had already walked, but not enough to get a real idea of where she was heading.

It seems that it wasn't just their area that had been shrouded in mist but the entire street.

First there was a flower shop without a sign with the door left opened. Blood stains littered the ground leaving a small trail behind further down the street and into the greenery.

"She's injured I think. There's a trail of blood." Shuusei said with a frown.

"She's… in a bookstore?" Shuusei said with confusion. Normally people would try to contact the police or got to a hospital with such heavy injuries.

Luzé was already leaving to go find her.

Shuusei watched calmly as the Opast left in such a hurry. He was still wary, although he was Luka's brother, he had his doubts of his intentions.

"He's not going to make it in time. She's not in good shape."

Yuki asked. "Shuusei, is she really there? If she's hurt, there must be something we could do."

"No, Yuki, it could be a trap made by Reiga." Luka protested.

"But, Luka your brother seems really worried about her. What if she's important to him?" Yuki asked with a frown.

Luka wasn't one to believe his brother could change so easily. But who would've ever thought he would change for one human. He changed because he had Yuki. Luzé didn't have anyone.

Not even within the Zess clan no one trusted each other. Casted out even by other Opasts, there was no end, no place they could belong. Not even their parents acknowledged them.

"Please Luka, I want to meet her." Yuki pleaded

Even reincarnated, Yuki was still the same. He still couldn't turn away from someone who was in trouble.

"Fine. If you can, heal her, but if it becomes dangerous I won't hesitate to kill him."

"Thank you Luka." Yuki smiled relieved.

"You're forgetting about us." Hotsuma interrupted. "We're going too."

"Arigatou." Yuki smiled. Just then they both heard a voice behind them,

"Without spring, flowers will remain asleep.

No it wasn't a voice, it was more like a soft echo.

Without a calm snow, winter will remain harsh.

There was no sound coming from their surroundings.

Without flowers spring will remain an eternal winter.

Yet still they could hear a female voice whispering in a gentle echo.

Without one you will lose what needs to be cherished.

The voice stopped and there she was with leaves in her hair, without a scratch. She waved towards Tsukumo.

Tsukumo would have reached out to her but Kuroto held him back.

"That's not her." Kuroto said narrowing his eyes.

She couldn't speak. There was no way she could.

Even if they were dressed the same, and looked exactly identical. The woman before them wasn't one to begin with.

Kuroto's eyes widened recognizing right away the outsider. "You're… her brother."

The woman sported a smile. "I'm surprised you could tell so easily." She said with her own mouth, something Hana could not do.

The woman before them shimmered and then a male with her eyes but pale lavender hair appeared before them.

His hair was much wavier but there was no doubt they were siblings. He was taller and wearing a white long sleeved sweater with a blue green scarf that matched his eyes.

He too had that aura of one that did not belong on earth.

"She was looking for you." Kuroto mouthed at the coincidence.

"She should be more worried about herself." The male said calmly, almost coldly. "With the way she is going, she will not last till the end of summer."

"What relation does she have with the Zweilt?" Yuki asked reminded of the vision he had just seen.

"None… is what I'd like to say." The male hesitated before smiling slightly. "But as the youngest, she has always been foolish."

"She shouldn't have any relation to you, but I see that that's not the case." The male said. "She's too soft hearted on you."

The male looked at Yuki with coldness and what looked to be anguish. "What irks me is that her wish is the same as yours."

"Wish?" Yuki repeated. His wish. To free the Zweilt was that what he was talking about?

The male stepped away ready to leave.

"Let her know that Setsuna is worried about her health. She can't survive by fulfilling the wishes of others, if she doesn't fulfill her own first."

The male turned to leave but Yuki reached out hurriedly pulling the man back. "Wait, please tell us your name at least."

The male quirked an eyebrow at the strange request but murmured "Haru" before disappearing from sight leaving the rest of the Zweilt with more questions than answers.

"We need to find her." Yuki said with urgency turning to the other Zweilt. Tooka and Tsukumo nodded in agreement while Hotsuma gruffly turned his head away.

"This way." Shuusei guided. "We can make it towards her quicker this way."

As they all ran ahead, Tsukumo look towards the sky in worry. One phrase Haru had murmured stuck with him.

Without flowers spring will remain an eternal winter.

Without one, you will lose what needs to be cherished.

"Something's bothering you Tsukumo." Tooka said.

He shook his head slowly managing to smile a little. "It's nothing yet."

They all began to search for Hana without knowing the consequences of this encounter.
