Chapter 14
The sisters both stormed up the stairs towards the attic and Dean having left Brittany with Sam downstairs. Both knowing that Sam didn't like the attic. The kid hadn't actually been in the attic since they had defeated Jeremy.
"Piper, what are you talking about?" Prue asked the younger woman as they both walked up the stairs; Piper with determination and Prue with confusion. As they walked into the room they found Dean sitting on the trunk beside the book stand with a shrug of his shoulders.
"Hey so I've been looking and I'm not sure." He told the women looking completely lost.
The boy jumped back when he found Piper still coming as she opened the book. "I'm telling you, I saw something about it in the Book of Shadows." Piper told the two as she began to flip through the pages that Dean had just been looking through himself.
Dean rolled his eyes not expecting the woman to find anything. He'd looked through the book and he hadn't found anything that could help. Not that Piper would believe that one obviously since the twenty-five year old was still flipping the pages.
"Okay look see." Piper spoke as Prue and her turned the pages.
"No way." Dean groaned as he jumped up to look at the book from behind his sisters. It was then he seen the information in black and white.
He groaned.
"Javna feeds on one week out of every year stealing the life force from the young." Piper read out to the other two.
"By invoking the black magic power of the evil eye to gain eternal youth." Prue continued on from Piper.
Dean shrugged his shoulders as he continued to look over the words in irritation for Piper having found something and disbelief for their actually being a demon that could do that kind of thing. He had loved pirate movies growing up and nowhere did it say that the fountain of youth was a demon.
"Great so the fountain of youth is actually a demon is disguise." Dean ratted out.
"Dean shut up." Prue told him as both women gave the teenager a hit to each of his shoulders as he groaned to them. Trust Piper and Prue not to hit him for having an opinion.
"Its gotta be what happened to Brittany." Piper concluded to the room as the sisters began thinking about the demon again while Dean walked about the room. He wasn't interested in the whole research thing as it was definitely not his forte.
Dean was a mechanic not an academic.
"Yeah, but there must be some kind of incantation to reverse it somehow." Prue argued hoping there was otherwise they were going to have a problem. The problem being a twenty-five year old elderly woman whose husband was probably going crazy looking for her.
"There is." Piper replied quickly as she began to again shuffle through the pages on the book to find the right one.
Piper stopped when she got to a picture of a gross looking hand that looked to weird not to be supernatural. "The hand of Fatima. It says that the prophet Mohamed invoked it centuries ago to banish Javna back to wherever the hell he came from." Piper read out as she looked away from the book and over towards her big sister.
Dean gave out a deep huff as he looked at the page with wonder. He didn't know how a hand could stop a demon but hey he was all for it if it would help Piper's friend. Plus Brittany wasn't that bad looking to the eye when she was young.
"Yeah, well, the problem is we don't know who Javna really is, let alone were he is." Prue voiced to her brother and sister with concern. She knew that if they could find him then they could fix this but the problem is who and where he is.
Dean shrugged his shoulders again with irritation.
Down the stairs Sam had finally gotten back to his homework as his eyes drifted to the page he barely noticed that Brittany had moved from her seat.
Brittany walked into the kitchen and over to the fridge with curiosity as she looked over the room. It was then that she spied something on the white surface as she walked over and pulled what looked like a napkin from the fridge door and putting the magnet holding it in place to one side.
Picking up the napkin from its place her eyes flashed over the words '7 waterfront BLVD' it was an address. She knew that address.
"Brittany?" Sam questioned from the dining room having just noticed that Brittany had gone from the room. Slowly the teen walked towards the kitchen to see if the woman was there.
The movement he got in the kitchen he found Brittany holding a napkin in her hand before wincing and collapsing to the ground.
Sam freaked as he rushed towards the woman in fright holding her in his arms. "Piper! Prue!" he screamed fear wrestling in his voice as he tried to think of what he should do for her.
Up the stairs Piper and Prue glanced to one another as Dean frowned in concern after hearing their brother yelling "Brittany!" Piper yelled out before the three ran out of the bedroom in search of their brother and friend.
"Sam get back." Dean yelled out as he quickly grabbed his brother away from Brittany while Prue and Piper moved over to help the elderly woman.
Dean was holding the boy back from the three women as he watched his sisters trying to care for Brittany. He knew that his brother was scared as he felt the teenager shivering as he held onto him. The last time Sam had seen something like this, had been with Grams.
"Oh, my god, what happened?" Piper yelled out as she glanced over to Sam.
"I dunno she just fell." Sam yelled back in panicked confusion, hoping that he didn't get into trouble for this while also hoping that nothing bad would happen to the poor woman.
Dean tried to hush his brother while the others tried to check if Brittany was going to be okay. Either way they needed to find this demon and end him before they lost the woman.
"Brittany, are you alright?" Piper asked with fear.
Once they had received no word from the woman Piper began to get really worried for the aged woman. "I'll call 911." She told her siblings.
Prue glared at the younger woman with a look of disbelief as she tried to help the aged woman. "And tell them what that she's dying of old age at twenty-five." She argued.
Unlike Piper apparently, Prue seemed to have realised that they couldn't just call for 911 when the woman was twenty-five. This would cause way too many problems if they did something like that.
Dean hugged his brother as he looked to Brittany and his sisters with further concern. He knew that if anything happened to Brittany then Sam would be even more scarred by a life that he wasn't even able to control. He was just a kid.
"We don't need to tell them she's twenty-five." Dean argued trying to help his sisters.
Prue turned towards her brothers, intending to yell at Dean until she saw Sam. The poor boy looked scared witless and she knew that while he was watching Brittany, he was actually seeing their Grams who'd died of a heart attack in this very house.
While the siblings began arguing, Piper looked down to see that Brittany had been holding something. Picking it up, Piper frowned as she searched the napkin to see what it was that was effecting the woman so badly.
Prue frowned when she noticed her sister looking at the napkin. "What is it?" she asked as she kept a hand on Brittany's arm with concern.
Sam looked away from his brother and over to his sisters with a frown wondering what it was that was in his sister's hand. It looked like a napkin from a food place.
"It's a cocktail napkin from my restaurant. With Stefan's address on the back." Piper answered her sister with a frown as she spied the address knowing that Phoebe was doing a photo shoot with that man tonight.
At hearing that information Brittany gasped causing all four of the siblings to turn to Brittany with confusion. "Javna." She voice and the siblings looked to the woman with disbelief and concern, some more so than the others.
"Prue, that's were Phoebe went." Piper admitted to her siblings as they all went white at the thought of something happening their sister.
"Phoebe." Sam voiced with concern running through his eyes as all of his thoughts ran to his sister. Sam couldn't even imagine what would happen if anything were to happen to his sister as Dean's arm tightened around him with all of the siblings feeling the same fear as Sam.
Fear that their sister could become Brittany.

At the police station Andy and Morris were searching over the ATM tapes in search of the young women and who it was that had taken the women. Seeing the time stamp at ten thirty-four pm and counting as the same man came out with a few of the victims.
Andy frowned as he watched the tape with curiosity. The man hadn't been one of the suspects before now but things do change.
"Look at that ATM tapes caught the first victim." Morris expressed as he saw the first victim, a young woman with redish brown hair and a long black dress walking out of the restaurant with a man in black on her arm.
"And she's leaving with that photographer, Stefan." Andy advised his partner.
"Yeah and Jives was the last place she was scene before she disappeared. Is he on our suspect list?" Morris told the other as he took his hands out of his pockets in case they were on the move sooner rather than later and he hoped they were if only to nail the bastard taking these women.
"He just moved to the top." Andy expressed as they switched off the TV and got ready to get out on the streets.
"God bless ATMS." Morris said as he patted the TV with happiness that they were finally going to get this creep off the streets before anymore woman got hurt. Grabbing his things, Morris followed after his partner, more than happy to get out.

Back at the warehouse Phoebe woke to her premonition and her eyes filled with terror. She felt trapped with her legs and hand tied to the table – no altar – with the candles surrounding it making her feel more than a little terrified. Something really bad was going to happen to her.
Noticing Stefan in the shadows, Phoebe decided to placate him if only to save herself. "Please, Stefan or whoever you are let me go." She begged with desperation.
At that moment the man stepped out of the shadows; his head balding with grey wisps and the back and his face wrinkled beyond belief. "It's Javna." He spoke with a voice of death and despair.
The man, creature's, eyes glowed then and Phoebe screamed in terror knowing that this could quite possibly be the end of her life and she was only twenty-three with two big sisters and two little brothers and nothing else.
All she had left now was to scream.
Outside the warehouse Prue and her siblings arrived and Sam nearly freaked out as he saw his sister's van while Dean jumped out the car racing towards the van with Prue and Piper on his heels.
"Do you see anything?" Prue yelled out to her siblings as she raced after them.
"No." Piper and Dean replied at the same time as they both ran back towards Prue, letting the oldest witch take charge of the situation as Prue grabbed Piper's arms to steady the younger witch.
Sam stayed by the car rubbing his arms in fear for his sister as he looked around the parking lot. He was scared. "Please tell me nothing's wrong with her?" He whispered.
Hearing her brother's scared voice Prue left a hand on Piper but stretched the other towards Sam as she looked into all of her siblings' eyes with determination in her eyes. "Look, we'll find her."
It was a fact and a promise. Something that Prue had no intention of breaking because for her siblings in this situation she would do anything for.
"Maybe we should call the police." Piper asked the others with fear for their sister.
Dean scoffed at Piper's idea. "What are the police gonna do?" He yelled out at his sister in confusion as he kept a wary eye on both the warehouse door and his little brother. There was no way that he was dropping the ball tonight.
"Yeah no Dean's right, if Javna has her, then we are the only ones that can stop him." Prue continued on as she squeezed Piper and Sam's hands if only to comfort her younger siblings.
"But we need Phoebe to do it. The incantation only works with the five of us." Piper rebutted.
"Probably four." Sam whispered still unconvinced that he was a witch or that there even was a power of five when he had no fifth power.
"Sam!" All three of his siblings yelled out at him in irritable annoyance that forced the young boy to take a step back.
A scream shattered all of their illusions as they all seemed to recognise it as Phoebe's scream.
"Phoebe!" Dean yelled out as they all ran towards the door of the warehouse as fast as they could not wanting to leave their sister when she could be hurt.
Back in the warehouse Phoebe continued to scream in fear and panic as Javna's eyes glowed and sent a direct light towards her own brown eyes. She screamed as she felt something weird began to happen to her, her mind starting to wander and her bones starting to weaken.
Outside Prue used her powers of telekinesis to get the door open when it wouldn't budge on its own. The door flew open as all four of the Halliwell siblings walked into the room to come face to face with the demon that was torturing their sister.
The moment Javna turned to stare at the four witches that had entered his domain he glared as Prue again used her powers to throw the demon against a wall and away from her sister.
Dean held his hands out if only to use his powers if their sister needed help while Piper and Sam rushed towards Phoebe to release her from her bonds.
"Piper. Sam." Phoebe whimpered as she found her siblings coming to her rescue.
On the other side of the room Javna was getting back up from his meeting against the wall. He shook his head a couple of times before reconnecting his powers to meet Prue. Flashing his eyes at the oldest witch to connect them together.
Dean panicked as he tried to use his powers to freeze the room but nothing seemed to be working. Dumb powers that didn't work.
The blonde watched as the demon and his sister moved closer together as he tried to grab a hold of the oldest witch to stop her from being hurt to no avail. Nothing was working. "Hurry up!" He yelled out to his sisters and brother while he still tried to do everything he could for his sister.
"We need you. We don't have a lot of time okay." Piper called out to her younger sister as Sam and she finally released Phoebe from her bonds. Pulling the witch away from the danger zone and back towards Dean and… Prue.
"Prue, grab the mirror!" Phoebe yelled out when she noticed a mirror sitting on the table beside the oldest witch. Prue heard her sisters words as she picked up the mirror and put it up to her face. The effect was instant as Javna's powers deflected on the mirror and back at him.
Javna groaned as he was forced back against his own altar. Using his powers to do it again only to have the same effect as before.
The four siblings ran over to the oldest witch as they all put a hand to one another just as Prue was getting the spell out of her pockets.
"Now." Prue called out to her siblings as they all grabbed a hold of one another. Prue standing in the middle with Piper holding her elbow and Phoebe holding her arm. Behind them was Sam holding Phoebe's arm while Dean held Piper's arm.
"Evil eye look onto thee
May they soon extinguish be
Bend thy will the power of five
Eye of earth, evil and a curse"
The siblings chanted as Prue handed the mirror over to Piper who gripped it tightly so Prue could hold the spell with both hands. Sam blinked as he held onto his brother's jacket and Phoebe's arm.
"Can't stop me, I will live forever." Javna growled out to the five witches who were all looking on in shock horror for what the demon was doing as he tried to stand up to face the five witches with his vengeance.
The siblings blinked in fear before Prue put up her hand, the connection with her siblings having cause her mind to bubble with ideas. The siblings watched as Prue's hand lit up and a white light beam was directed to the demon making him scream.
"Evil eye look onto thee
May they soon extinguish be
Bend thy will the power of five
Eye of earth, evil and a curse"
The siblings again chanted as the beam of light began to reflect in a rainbow of colours while the demon continued to yell and scream. The siblings continued, determination in there features as Javna fell back dead against the altar.
Quickly his body fired to bones before turning to dust as the light beam faltered and stopped. The wind carried the dust away as the siblings all glanced towards the ash in horror and disbelief.
Back at the manor none of the siblings were aware that their spell had done what it was supposed to do as Brittany who laid asleep on the couch changed. Within seconds Brittany went from being a twenty five year old dying of old age to a twenty-five year old. The years piling off of her.
The woman woke as soon as the spell was lifted in confusion and wonder as she found a huge gran like cardigan pulled over her body.
At the warehouse the light on Prue's palm faded as she dropped her hand, the siblings continuing to look towards the altar and the dust that had now completely disappeared.
"Very cool." Phoebe whispered as the sisters' eyes never left the altar while Sam and Dean glanced to their sister in disbelief.
No way in hell was that cool.
The siblings continued to look in shock as sirens were heard from outside signalling that the police were now on their way towards the warehouse just when the danger had disintegrated.
The five siblings walked out of the building as just as the police cars had parked. Words and whispers going around as people were directed in which way to go.
The three sisters stood by the door of the van Piper and Prue with their arms crossed and the boys behind them with Dean leaning against the van and Sam looking to the officers in shock. He so did not want to be arrested tonight.
Andy and Morris then got out of their car and Andy looked towards the five witches in shock. "What the hell? Prue?" He called out. Walking over to the witches as they all moved away from the van a little. "What are you doing here?" He continued, ignoring the nervousness of the five siblings. Although he was confused why all five of the siblings would be here.
"Follow me guys. Let's check inside." Morris called out leaving Andy to deal with the Halliwell family while he did some real police work. Hopefully away from the four witches that seemed to get in so much trouble never mind the teenager that they had with them.
"Um, well we couldn't get the van started." Prue said. That being the first words out of her mouth as she blinked back her panic.
Dean smiled at that, knowing that he could fix any problem to deal with cars while the rest of the siblings nodded in agreement with the oldest sister.
"Yeah, Phoebe called she was having car trouble." Piper then continued on from Prue as she fidgeted with her fingers in a nervous tic although she hoped that Andy would put that down to the fact that he had an army of police behind him and not because of their talents and lies.
Noticing his sister's nerves, Dean decided to placate the situation. "Reason why they called a mechanic." He responded pointing to himself as Piper hit him on the arm. Again with the hitting.
"Yeah and Stefan was going to take some pictures of me." Phoebe was quick to respond even though her voice did sound a little monotone but then again Phoebe Halliwell had been credited as not being able to keep a secret.
"Do you guys realize how lucky you are? This guy's the stalker." Andy pointed out to the witches in irritation that the woman and their brothers could come here like this and put themselves in so much danger.
"Stalker?" Sam asked with a freaked out tone.
Andy glanced to the youngest Halliwell with a frown before the sisters' and Dean rallied around the teenager just as Morris walked over to them with a huff of annoyance.
"No sign of him inside. His car's here so he might be somewhere around. Stay with them." Morris told the man before walking away as Andy nodded to his partner.
"Excuse me." Andy requested as he waved passed the five witches to get to the driver's side of the car while the siblings all took a step back with confusion for what he was going to do. Flipping the keys the van started and he glanced to the five witches with a small smirk on his face.
"Hey how about that you fixed it." Piper pointed out with a nervous chuckle.
Dean frowned at that one with irritation running through him at Piper having dismissed the idea of him being able to fix the car. "I fixed it." He said sullenly as Sam rolled his eyes and Prue pushed him away.
"How about that." Andy replied obviously not having heard the older Halliwell boy as he waved his hand in dismissal. A smirk clear on his face.
The Halliwell siblings all looked around themselves in nervousness as Andy gave them all a pointed look. Piper holding onto Prue's elbow still while Dean kept a hand on Sam's hoodie, not willing to let the kid go from one second.
Only Phoebe seemed to have realised the look. "Maybe we should go." She voiced out to the siblings with her own nervous smile.
Andy nodded his head at those words. "Good idea." He replied as he watched Phoebe walk away with Dean and Sam before he took a step towards the oldest Halliwell witch.
Piper walked away after her siblings wanting to leave Prue and Andy alone to talk as she gave Dean a push when she noticed the teenager trying to listen in on the conversation obvious wanting to know the juicy details of Prue's love life.
"Uh, thanks." Prue thanked then man knowing that he could probably take them in on something and yet he didn't do anything. Taking this for what it was she decided that she could give Andy another chance. "Call me." Prue asked.
"Sure." Andy replied with a smile.
Prue smiled back before she walked back towards her car, smiling a little when she noted that Sam was also sitting in her car. Meaning that the young boy had decided to go with her while the others went with Phoebe in the van.
The moment Prue got to the car she got in and spared a small glanced to Sam who was looking to her with a curious gaze. "You okay?" He asked and it made her frown because why wouldn't she be okay when they had just defeated the demon and she would probably get a call from Andy asking for another date.
Turning to take a proper look at her brother, Prue smiled. "Did I ever tell you thanks?" She asked the young teenager who smiled and shook his head knowing what she was thanking him for. "Then thank you." She continued.
Switching the car on she smiled, meaning the thanks that she had given to her brother because he may have just saved any relationship she may have had with Andy by giving him those updates into her life something she was so happy for.
"Although you could reward me by giving me my own room." Sam asked his sister as they drove away from the warehouse. A small bout of desperation in his young tone as he asked.
Prue glanced to her baby brother with a raised eyebrow at his chosen idea of reward. "How about an afternoon in alone." She compromised knowing the kid was only joking but she wanted to do something for him and he was always complaining about not being able to stay in on his own without supervision.
Sam seemed to be thinking about it before he nodded his head, a dimpled smile creeping out and Prue laughed, turning on the radio as the two spent some time together just as brother and sister with no witch like problems. It was fun.

Quake was filling to capacity and it was only the afternoon rush as Phoebe made her way through the crowds to meet Dean and her sisters for some well-deserved drinks to celebrate the end of Javna and Prue's new job. Wearing her baby blue dress and cardigan she stepped towards the bar with a smile.
It was then that Phoebe noticed the red haired girl, Javna's victim, now dressed in a leopard print dress sitting at the bar as Phoebe walked up to her putting her hand on the woman's back "Hey, how are you?" She asked as the red haired woman who nodded with a frown and a shrug.
At seeing the looks on the girl's face, Phoebe took a step away from her and over towards her little brother and big sister who were looking back to her with their own confusion.
"Do you know that girl?" Piper asked her sister with confusion having never seen Phoebe around that girl before. In front of her was her glass of cola and beside Prue was her own glass.
Dean glanced to the girl with an appreciated look towards the red head. She was pretty cute with her red hair, blue eyes and pale skin. "Yeah, cause she is hot." He called out with lust in his eyes cause he really wanted to get into her pants especially after everything they had all been through.
Phoebe rolled her eyes at her brother while Piper and Prue just scoffed at the boy. "I almost was that girl; she was one of Stefan's victims. Obviously doesn't remember." Phoebe voiced out to the others as she glanced over to the girl again with a sideward glance.
"Lucky her." Prue voiced.
The oldest Halliwell knew that it would probably be better for everyone if they could just forget about this latest demon attack. Phoebe included.
Phoebe shook her head at her sister's words. "No, lucky me," she responded and boy did she feel lucky to have had this kind of lesson and be able to live to tell about it afterwards.
"And hopefully lucky me." Dean came out with as he went to stand up and do a meet and greet with the red head. He just hoped he was as lucky with her as he was with the demon last night.
At seeing her brother about to get off of his seat, Prue grabbed him by his arm and pulled him back to sit down. "Down boy." She told him as she gave him a steady look that warned him to be good and spend some time with his family once in a blue moon.
"I have learned my lesson, I have got to be more careful." Phoebe continued on as someone put a drink of lemonade down next to her which Phoebe was eternally grateful for as she took a sip.
The other Halliwells all glance to Phoebe with looks of their own; Prue with a frown, Dean with a raised eyebrow and Piper with disbelief.
"Excuse me but did I just hear it. Did she actually admit to doing something wrong?" Prue asked Piper and Dean with a frown still printed on her face even though it was about to give way to a big smile if she couldn't stop herself.
"That's what I heard." Piper voiced out while playing about with her straw.
Dean looked around himself with a huge smirk on his face. "The sky must be falling." He sent out with a chuckle as Phoebe gave all three of her siblings a look of discontent. She knew that it would be hard for them to belief.
"Frame it, it won't happen again." Phoebe told the three as she still held onto her bag.
Dean scoffed at that one causing the woman to glance towards him. "Yeah right, that's what Sammy says when he gets something wrong." He responded and the girls chuckled. Sam Halliwell was known for being stubborn and that one was especially true when he got something wrong and didn't want to admit that he'd possibly do it again.
Piper rolled her eyes at her siblings, choosing to think on a more positive note, other than Phoebe admitting to doing something wrong. "At least we helped those people; I mean it's nice to know our powers really are good." She told her siblings with a small smile knowing that despite all her worries she was a good witch and she was destined to do good things.
Phoebe and Dean shared a smile after that one, happy to know that Piper was back.
"Yeah, good for everything but our love lives unfortunately." Prue voiced with a small bout of annoyance before a smile sifted onto he features as she thought of the good points. "Although I must admit they do come in handy once in a while." Prue continued with a sneaky look towards the other three as she thought of all the ways in which her powers had helped her the last couple of days.
Dean smirked as Phoebe rolled her eyes at the oldest witch. "Uh-hu, hypocrite." Phoebe voiced out to the others as Dean chuckled in response leaning over Prue's arm to give Phoebe a high five for that one.
Prue rolled her eyes before her thoughts went back to the youngest Halliwell, although she had promised him time in the house alone she wasn't half worried about him sometimes. "Hey how was Sam when you left?" She asked her youngest sister in curiosity.
The rest of the siblings knew that Prue was concerned for the youngest Halliwell even though she might not admit it sometimes. Although Prue was the oldest and as the oldest she was bound to caring for her younger siblings whether she liked it or not.
"Poor little guy was out like a light." Phoebe responded with a small sigh.
Everyone was concerned for the youngest Halliwell at the moment wanting to help him even though they knew that they couldn't do a lot for him. This was something Sam was going to have to work through on his own and it wasn't something that they could help him with even if they tried.
The four witches were then distracted by the sounds of the television. "And last night's winning numbers were 4…" The voice on the TV spoke as Dean and the sisters all looked up to the TV in curiosity.
Phoebe wanted to jump for joy as she seen the TV, "The winning numbers, I won." She called out as she began searching through her bag for her ticket. At seeing a look of irritation. "Well, I did." She responded as the others rolled their eyes at the middle sister.
The moment the TV was finished telling the numbers Phoebe watched with a frowned gaze as the numbers and information on the ticket faded out of existence. She sighed in irritation as she thumped her hands on the table.
Piper took the ticket with a small smirk, showing it to the others as Prue smiled.
"See I told you, you can't intently use the powers for your own personal gain, remember." Prue explained to the youngest female witch with a know it all grin on her face. She knew her sister would be gutted and her wardrobe would suffer but at least Phoebe learned a lesson.
Phoebe glared at her oldest sister before taking a huff, raising her closed palm to her face with a depressed look. "It's a good thing that I didn't take the tags off of that dress." She responded with a sad voice, she loved that dress as well, but take a look at the bright side. "Oh, well, at least that old couple didn't lose their house." She continued on as she knew the numbers to be right whether she got them right or not.
"A toast to the power of five, whether we like it or not." Piper spoke to her brother and sisters as she raised her full glass of cola in the air. The other three responded in kind before clinking their glasses together all knowing that despite the trouble their powers may have cause or will cause they were witches and they were the power of five.
* *P *D * P*S * P* *
Sam was yet again standing next to Kat with that weird pain again in his head, his sense of sound being cut off by a loud buzzing in his left ear. He knew it was going to happen again. With Kat wearing those same clothes and her mother's earrings.
Sam gulped, as the weird pain was again in his head, his sense of sound being again cut off by a loud buzzing in his left ear. Again he was thrown to the ground by the bullies and Kat was again yelling at the guys that had pushed him down.
Like all the other times, Kat had bent down to pick up their things in front of the road. Again he tried to find a way to stop her. He needed her to get off the road. Nothing came out of his mouth and his headache was getting worse.
Sam felt sick as he tried to move when bang. Kat as thrown over the Camaro's bumper, before crashing back to the ground. Sam screamed, tears running down his eyes as dead blue eyes stared back at him. He could breathe or think of anything but Kat's red blood moving out of her body, a crowd beginning to circle the area with everyone else in shock.
Sam continued to scream and yell, trying to get to Kat when he felt a sudden pull. He felt that he was being pulled away from Kat as he tried to move towards her with desperation.
His body seized as he flew up into the air.
Sweat drenched his body, as he looked around himself finding the childishly young blue wall paper scraped over the walls alongside posters. The other bed at the side of the room, as well as the millions of clothes that cluttered the side of the room. He breathes a sigh of relief. It was his bedroom.
Sam growled with anger as he threw his pillow at the door. "Why?" he screamed and he'd never been more happy with the knowledge that his brother and sisters were gone for the night.
Getting up out of his bed, Sam pulled his green hoodie on and walked out of his room. He really hated that stupid dream and he wanted to know what it meant. Wanted to know what to do when he suddenly remembered his Grams and her secret potion.
Walking up the stairs he went towards the attic, a place he had been few times as he stepped into the huge room and quickly walked towards the giant book. The book of shadows nd god that was true. The stupid thing had been hidden away for a life time.
Putting his hands on the book he frowned when the Triquettra on the front of the book flashed with some kind of light flickered against the small jewel causing him to throw the book back against the stand, nearly toppling the book and the thick wooden stand as he did it. The stupid book was freaking him the hell out.
Taking a deep breath, Sam moved back to the book and pulled it off of the stand, trying his hardest not to throw it back to the ground.
The book was apparently his heritage which was only true if he was the biological child of his Mom and Dad. He wasn't sure if he believed Prue but what else could he do about it.
Opening the book he looked over the weltered pages seeing the spell that Phoebe had used to give them their powers. It looked like a lot of words all of which scared him a little. He flipped through the book little. It was sort of amazing that so much could come from one little book. This was his heritage. A book filled with all of his magical history.
"Why didn't you tell us Grams?" He asked himself as he looked through the book.
He needed to sleep, and he needed to stop the headaches and the pain and everything in between and the only way he could think of doing that was by getting that stupid potion.
Ignoring everything else he moved over to he chairs and began to search for anything to help him. The time tittered away as he search and all he was finding was even more nightmares. Whilst he searched, his eyes frowned as he found a picture nestled between the pages.
It was on a page about a demon that lived in water. A demon that killed by drowning people and Sam frowned. It seemed so familiar to him.
Shrugging his head he turned back to the picture. In the picture was a beautiful young woman with honeycomb hair, brown eyes and a baby with soft brown hair and still blue eyes in her arms. The woman was his Mum. Beside her was a man. He looked young with dark brown hair and brown eyes with a second child in his arms. That was his Dad.
The child in his father's arms was cute with his curly blonde hair and moss green eyes. He looked to be about four and Sam knew him to be Dean. Meaning the baby was him.
Sam smile before moving to check the rest of the picture. Sitting beside his Dad was a girl of about eight with long brown hair and cute brown eyes. A Cheshire grin on her face as she hugged onto his Dad. She was wearing a pink dress and her hair pulled out of her face. Phoebe. He knew it was his big sister by her mischievous look that reminded him all of Dean.
Turning to the other side of the picture was his other sister Piper, sitting next to their mother with an arm around one another. Piper's hair was light and long and her eyes brown. She was wearing a white dress and looking very cute.
Sam gave a soft chuckle after that before he turned to look at the other girl in the picture. Prue was standing behind the couch with a smile on her face wearing a t-shirt. She was thirteen and she looked it.
Looking at the picture, Sam was surprised to find a tear drop on the page.
This was probably one of the last pictures of his whole family together before Mum died. He'd never seen this one before.
Moving away from the book he slumped onto the chair with a light smile on his face as he ran his fingers over the picture. He wished that he had had the chance to know her, to spend even an hour with his mother and his father together again with his brother, sisters and himself.
With his dream now gone, the headache having passed as he stared at this picture thinking about his family. He might not have found the potion but he may have found something ten times more important. Slowly Sam drifted to sleep in his own quiet existence not even knowing that pretty soon his whole life was going to be very different.
