Finn Whitman loved Amanda so much. And it was Christmas time. What perfect time of the year would be better to ask the question? That's right. The question. The one he had been wanting to ask forever.

He was going to ask her the next time he saw her. He heard his name being called and turned around. Maybe he shouldn't ask her while at Disneyland. It's been done too many times.

"Finn, what's wrong?" she asked.

"Oh, nothing," he replied. Just ask, he scolded himself. "Amanda, this might seem weird, but I really need to ask you something."

"What's that?" she smiled.

He knelt to the ground and Amanda gasped. "What the heck, Finn?!"

"I'm tying my shoe! Calm down! sheesh!" He stood up after tying his shoe. "Amanda, will you please be my girlfriend?!"

"Oh," she sighed in relief. "Yeah, that I can do."

"What did you think I was going to ask?"

"The marriage question."

"We're not even a couple. Well, I mean now we are, but like. Come on."

"Yeah, I don't want to marry you." Finn looked at her weird. "I mean, right now. I mean. Nevermind. Let's forget this ever happened."

But Finn never forgot.
