Years later, Finn and Amanda were at a fancy restaurant. Everything was perfect. From the food to the music. What could go wrong?

Amanda was waiting for him to ask the question. He could tell.

"Amanda," he said.

"Yes?" she smiled.

"You know I love you, right?"

"Well, I'd hope so," she laughed.

"You're the most amazing person I have ever met. You're wonderful. Funny. Weird. But most importantly, you're my best friend. The person I would love to spend the rest of my life with."

She grinned even more.

"I just wanted you to know that."

She immediately frowned. "What? That's it."

"What do you mean?"

"You're not going to ask?!"

"Oh, yeah, sorry." He was such a loser. "Did you get a haircut? I meant to ask you earlier, but I figured it would be awkward, you know?"

Amanda started to look mad now. "Why didn't you ask me to marry you!?"

Finn stared at her with a serious expression. "I never forgot."
