Yo guys, wassup? Steam here with a new update to Peacekeepers. So as a recap of what happened last time, Maquette escaped (well, broke out and destroyed) the Testing Lab and is now in the street, demanding his freedom. How will Sai and company get him under control? WILL they get him under control? The only way to find out would be to read on.

Data Log 5- The Power Contained

Maquette continued his rampage as he fired yet another blast into the sky. Several passersby had already fled the street and surrounding blocks when the first explosion took place, so there were thankfully no people or bystanders to risk injuring outside of the bots that were in the range of the first blast.

"This is bad." Magentacat quivered, "What'll we do?"

"Let me talk to him." Bad Hacker replied, "He knows me, so hopefully I should be able to calm him down."

"And if he doesn't?" Sai retorted, "You're good as fried."

"Then cover for me if he starts getting violent, but I think I can at least try something. Listen, his right arm is huge, so it often obstructs the view to his right; if you can get around to where he can't see you, then we may have a chance to get at his back and eject his medal. It's cruel to do that to a bot, but it's our only failsafe plan outside of reasoning with him."

Sai and Magentacat looked at each other and nodded as Bad Hacker took off to face Maquette. Meanwhile the experimental model was still shouting at the top of his voice circuits, demanding his freedom and right of equality.

"Maquette!" The cockroach type shouted, "Maquette, it's me, Bad Hacker!"

Maquette stopped and looked down the stone steps to see him, and suddenly ceased his rampage.

"Bad Hacker…" He began, "I missed you in lab … Where did you go?"

"I was promoted to a field agent," Bad Hacker explained, "That's why you haven't seen me lately."

"You… treated me nicely… not like prisoner or test subject… Everyone else didn't… treated me like a freak…"

"I'm so sorry Maquette, I'll try and talk to the Guild-Masters and see what we can do about that."

"No! Don't want to be with those bots… Go with you… Be a field agent!"

"I wish I could let you, but you're still under testing. We still don't know yet if your parts will be stable outside of the testing area."

"Not going back! Treat me like freak… Don't care about my needs like you… just want pointless numbers. But numbers are wrong… I am Maquette… Maquette is me… I want to be seen as equal. I want freedom!"

"THAT'S why you're mad," The cockroach type thought to himself, "You just want to be let out on your own."

He looked out of the corners of his left eyes to find Sai and Magentacat creeping their way around to Maquette's blindside. They were almost into position, he just needed to buy them a little more time.

"Maquette," Bad Hacker started, "I understand you want your freedom, and I promise that you'll get it; but before then I need you to promise me something."

Maquette gave him a quizzical look, "Promise… what?"

"I just want to make sure everything in you is running properly. A few more test sessions are all I'm asking, and if possible we may be able to shrink down your right arm so you can move better. Would you want that?"

Maquette started looking around as his eyes darted to various places. There was no way he was going back to the Testing Area, not after how he had been treated in the past few days. But with Bad Hacker there, promising him freedom no less, he wrestled with his decision. Looking at this massive right arm only made his choice harder.

"You come… You finish testing. No one else." He answered at last.

Bad Hacker noticed that his partners were in position in case force was needed, but so far it seemed like everything may be under control in the end.

"Alright," The cockroach type nodded, "I'll finish your testing. But before that we need to clean up your-"

His sentence was interrupted as Maquette's antennae twitched and he took notice of movement to his right. Seeing Sai and Magentacat freeze, he suddenly got wary of the situation.

"Who are they?" He demanded.

"Those are my partners," Bad Hacker replied, "I asked them to stand ready in case things got difficult-"

"Difficult? Difficult?! Bad Hacker not trust me?!"

"No no, I do trust you, but with all the damage you caused we had to take precau-"

"No! Stop lying! You not trust me! You just like the others! Selfish and Cowardly!"

Maquette's rage returned as he swung his right arm at Bad Hacker like a club and swatted him out of his way.

"Ey, you!" Sai shouted, mounting his right arm into firing position, "You're askin' for it, beatin' my partner like that!"

"STAY AWAY!"

Using the momentum gained from swinging his arm, Maquette spun into a one-eighty twist and aimed his cannon at the beetle and cat types. Momentarily frozen, Sai and Magentacat narrowly avoided the blast as it screamed over their heads and missed.

"SURROUNDED BY LIARS!" The experimental model roared, "NONE CAN BE TRUSTED!"

Maquette fired another blast at the beetle type as the latter once again narrowly evaded the attack.

"Dude," Sai called, "You need to take a chill pill."

"LIAR! NOT LISTENING TO YOU!"

As he aimed for another blast, Magentacat dove in, right arm charged with electricity, and proceeded to attack Maquette. After the electricity coursed through Maquette's body however, his simply whacked the cat type aside like he did Bad Hacker; completely unaffected by the attack. Just as Sai was cornered with nowhere to run, a sonic boom was heard in the air as a white-colored starship screamed past Maquette and forced his aim elsewhere. Following the shape as it circled back around, Sai figured out that it was Sonic-Stag who saved his hide.

"Agent Saikachis," Sonic-Stag began via server messaging, "Having trouble?"

"Ah no, I'm doin' just fine down here." Sai retorted sarcastically, "OF COURSE I'M HAVING TROUBLE! The dude took out Bad Hacker and Magentacat out in one hit, and he didn't even fire anything!"

"Move to safety and leave KWG-XX to us, try and get survivors away from the fight and to safety."

"Who's we? I'm only seein' you."

"Look behind you."

The beetle type turned to see Granbeetle, both Guild-Masters, and two other bots running to enter the fray. The first 'other' bot was of the KBT series, sporting the model ID KBT-4 Arcbeetle. His armor was relatively thick, but not bulky; as well as being colored two-toned red with yellow, but his most prominent feature were his great horns on his head and torso. The second bot was blue in color, but much larger looking than Arcbeetle. He sported the model ID KWG-4 Titan Beetle. He was relatively similar to the model 'Tyrelbeetle' in appearance, but not as large or toned.

"Experiment KWG-XX," Guild-Master Metal Beetle called to Maquette, "Stand down and relax. We just wanna talk."

"STAY BACK LIARS!" Maquette snarled, "And name is not KWG-XX! I am Maquette!"

"Well it seems talkin' to 'em is outta the question, so I guess we move to plan B."

All five bots spread out as Sonic-Stag flew overhead to get Maquette's attention. Metal Beetle, Granbeetle, and Arcbeetle stayed back as Head Scissors and Titan Beetle dashed forward intent on ending their opponent's function. The KBTs attacked as one and focused their attack on the experimental model's joints, but Maquette resorted to using his right arm as a shield to block the bullet barrage. Using this moment of blindness, the KWGs put everything they had into a focused punch to force Maquette back. It worked as he slid back about fifteen feet, but recovered as his anger grew by the second. Seeing the Sai hadn't moved, Metal Beetle snapped him out of his trance.

"What're you doing Agent?!" He ordered, "Start moving your partners to safety!"

Sai quickly regained his composure as he started off to find Bad Hacker in the pile of rubble he disappeared in. Finding him about a minute later, thankfully the cockroach type wasn't damaged too much as he reactivated his conscious state.

"Uggh…" He moaned, "So much for talking to him…"

"Yeah, that plan was a bust." Sai agreed, "But this guy mean's business now, cuz he's got both the Guild-Masters on the attack."

"We can't let Maquette overexert himself. His power levels still aren't stable enough for him to stay in combat for long periods of time."

"Why not?"

"The lubricants in his body are different from ours, and we did that on purpose to test how it would react as a double-lubricant; one that both acts as such AND cleans the impurities in his system, similar to the circulatory system in humans removing pathogens from the blood."

"So why's that bad?"

"We learned through testing that this experimental lubricant heats up when the host body is under stress; namely combat. And if it heats up past a certain temperature, then the host body begins to emit radioactivity, and that happens for too long…"

"Yeah…"

"He could go off like a nuclear bomb at any time."

That statement froze Sai stiff in fear. Originally he thought that he was fighting a crazy bot that wanted freedom, but now he was told that he's fighting a ticking time bomb."

"We need to stop the others from fighting Maquette before he overheats." Bad Hacker continued, "Go and find Magentacat, I'll see if I can get the others to cease the assault."

Both bots split ways as the beetle type took off in the direction Magentacat flew earlier, and the cockroach type running towards Metal Beetle's team. Bad Hacker unfortunately didn't get his chance as Head Scissors and Titan Beetle were thrown back and collided with the team in the street.

"I AM EQUAL!" Maquette shouted, "I AM MAQUETTE!"

Sonic-Stag changed his trajectory to dive bomb Maquette, but the experimental model had enough of being toyed with as he aimed his cannon at the incoming attacker and opened fire. Sonic-Stag barely evaded, but the blast clipped his right-hand stabilizer as his balance was suddenly thrown off. He started spinning as he soared over Maquette's head and crashed inside the Headquarters with a boom. Seeing one attacker down, Maquette aimed another blast at the others in the street and fired. Arcbeetle stepped forward and fired a powerful laser attack from his head part in hopes of holding the incoming blast back or diverting it. The two forces battled for superiority, but Arcbeetle's lost energy after a short while as Maquette's tore right through it and devastated the KBT type. Thankfully Arcbeetle was still in one piece, outside of large chunks of his armor being obliterated and much of his horns, but the blast of energy had forced him to cease function as he lay in the crater like a limp doll.

"Incredible…" Bad Hacker mused in his head, "Maquette's cannon was even strong enough to overpower the Great Arcbeetle …"

Hearing Maquette begin growling, he knew that he needed to stop the fight fast if he wanted to save the town from a nuclear explosion.

"Maquette," The cockroach type shouted, "Listen to me. You need to calm down and stop fighting. You're hurting yourself more than you're hurting the others!"

"STOP LYING!" Maquette thundered, "STOP… LYING!"

"Why would I lie to you? I have no reason to lie, I just want to keep everyone safe, including you."

Seeing that he had stopped the growling, Bad Hacker continued.

"Listen to me, you have a different lubricant system in your body, and if you don't calm down then it's going to kill you and everyone else in this town."

"Lies… Lies…. No… Stop lying!"

"I'm not lying! Just please trust me, you need to calm down. We don't want to hurt you, we just want to help."

After a moment, Maquette's stance dropped only a bit, but enough to allow Bad Hacker to approach him slowly. From the wreckage inside the Headquarters, Sonic-Stag emerged and noticed his opponent's back turned. Seeing it as an opportunity, he dashed forward and dealt a swift hammer-fist to his back and sent him careening into the side of the building across the street. Maquette fell to the ground with a hard thud, but arose from his spot now with his anger reaching all-time highs. Growling loudly, Maquette aimed his cannon at Sonic-Stag and charged to double the normal output before firing. Naturally the white stag beetle type dove for the ground and continued his advance, he was forced backward from an explosion that emanated from Maquette. When the smoke cleared, as well as the others taking the chance to regroup, they noticed that Maquette's cannon was now a pile of scrap metal. The experimental model yanked his arm free from the wreckage as he began flexing it to test its movement. Ignoring the gushes of lubricant fluid that came from his shoulder and fluid cords, he found his arm to function normally as he then faced his attackers. Sai had fished Magentacat from a pile of bricks, but heard the explosion and saw what took place.

"His arm…" He stammered, "Just… exploded…"

With Head Scissors and Titan Beetle now back in the fight, as well as Sonic-Stag next to them, all three dashed forward to close in for the kill; seeing that Maquette's primary weapon was now gone. They failed to realize however that with his right arm now free from the weight of the cannon, Maquette's speed almost tripled as he leaped to his left to evade the incoming attacks. Sonic-Stag pursued him as he and Maquette clashed in fast punches and swipes, but after blocking the stag beetle's sword attack with his left arm, Maquette spun his leg around and dealt a powerful roundhouse kick to the side of his head. Sonic-Stag was forced out of the fight as Titan Beetle took his place. He however didn't get the chance to attack as the experimental model nailed him with a left-arm uppercut. Using Titan Beetle's body as a shield, Maquette advanced on the others and threw his captor into them once he got close enough.

"This is getting bad," Bad Hacker worried, "I'm reading a gradual temperature increase from Maquette's body. We need to stop him before it's too late."

Seeing Sai and Magentacat still in one piece, he regrouped with them to formulate a plan.

"So we know that talking with him is completely outta the question," Sai stated, "So anyone got a plan?"

"We need to stop him before his body temperature increases anymore," The cockroach type answered, "And as cruel as the method may be, we need to remove his medal from his body and initiate a Forced Shutdown."

Sai and Magentacat shivered at the plan. A Forced Shutdown was easily as heartless as anyone, human or medabot, could ever be when it came to removing the medal from a medabot's body. Many bots compare it to a human stabbing another human in the chest with a knife and cutting out their heart, while they were still alive. It was for this reason that the Mayor passed a law forbidding Forced Shutdowns unless absolutely necessary; in favor of the medabots. Hearing sirens slowly getting louder, the trio knew that the police and fire departments were on their way to help stop the action.

"We need to try and box Maquette in." Bad Hacker instructed, "Magentacat, go talk to the police and others to start tending to those in the area and the damage to the Headquarters. Sai, I need you to distract Maquette and get his focus off of the others."

"What're you going to do?" The cat type asked.

"I specialize in trap-based attacking. I'll set a few melee-traps in the area to help box Maquette in. Once he's surrounded, one of us will remove his medal and force his shutdown."

"Still, a Forced Shutdown?"

"We don't have a choice at this point Magentacat. He won't listen to anyone now that he was attacked the moment he dropped his guard, so now we just need to fight it out."

"Just the way I like to do things." Sai nodded as he changed into Drive Mode, "Leave the guy to me."

"Be careful Sai. With his right arm cannon gone his speed is almost triple of what it was before. He may be able to keep up with you if you're reckless."

"Bah, no one can catch me when I'm in the zone!"

Sai sped off as he started firing at Maquette's backside to get his attention.

"Yo Maquette!" He shouted, "Eat my dust!"

Seeing that the experimental model's attention was diverted, Magentacat helped the others to safety as they all started towards the incoming law enforcers. Just as Bad Hacker had said, Maquette was easily able to keep up with Sai's speed as he led the experimental bot around the block to buy the others a little time.

"Yo Maquette," Sai called back, "You need to calm down and get a hold of yourself!"

"Not until… until I have freedom!" He returned as he vaulted off of a car to launch himself into the air.

"Why do you want freedom so bad? Don't you already have it?"

"No! Treated like freak. Forced to stay inside lab… no freedom!"

"Well it's gonna be kinda hard to give you freedom now with all the trouble you're causing."

"LIES! I GET MY FREEDOM!"

"He's gonna go boom at this point…" The beetle type sighed as he swerved to one side to avoid an attack, "I just hope that Bad Hacker's plan works, otherwise we all got a one-way trip to Kingdom Come."

Back in front of Headquarters, Bad Hacker had begun setting Melee-Traps around the front of Headquarters and spared nothing on their placement. Trap-type fighters like Bad Hacker fought in more of a support-offense style of combat. They set a trap down that affected a certain radius around it. If the opponent used a certain type of attack within the radius of the trap, it detonated and damaged the attacker. The cockroach type planted them on various mounds of rubble, on flat ground, even one or two on the stairs leading to Headquarters.

"I just hope this works…" He said to himself, "We gotta stop Maquette before he reaches a critical state. I really hate having to do something so cruel to him, but at this point he's not leaving me much of a choice."

Seeing Magentacat and the others run back to meet him, he quickly warned them about the traps as they explained the situation to him. Metal Beetle and Head Scissors explained that the police and fire department were going to stay nearby for after the situation is under control, and then help with damages to the Headquarters. When Bad Hacker asked what would happen to them afterwards, Metal Beetle shrugged and said that they would discuss that AFTER Maquette was under control. Seeing that everything was ready, Bad Hacker messaged Sai and told him to lead Maquette back towards Headquarters. He got a return message as the cockroach type quickly gave everyone a place to stand. Metal Beetle and Head Scissors were to stand in front of the headquarters and force the experimental bot towards the other side of the street. Granbeetle and Sonic-Stag were going to be waiting there to force Maquette elsewhere. Titan Beetle took one leg of the street and would serve as the third wall in Bad Hacker's 'Box Plan', and Magentacat would take the other leg of the street to complete the walls. When he saw Sai and Maquette coming their way, the cockroach type changed into Drive Mode and flew up to the roof of Headquarters to await his time to act. By the time Sai reached Titan Beetle, Maquette had finally caught up with him enough to grab and throw the beetle type towards a brick building. The 'Box Plan' was then initiated as Titan Beetle took a swing at the experimental bot and forced Maquette to detonate one of the traps on himself. Quickly jumping to the other side of the street, Magentacat took her turn and charged both her arms with electricity. Maquette attempted another attack, but another trap detonated and forced him towards the center of the road.

"We have him now!" The cat type grinned mentally, "Come on Bad Hacker, make sure you're ready."

Sonic-Stag and Granbeetle took their turns as the experimental bot started walking backwards to the Guild-Masters. They took their opportunity as Maquette was now in position after detonating another two traps to force him towards the middle of the square.

"AGENT!" Metal Beetle called, "IT'S ALL YOU!"

Bad Hacker took to the skies and went into a dive bomb for Maquette. Seeing that he was planning a counterattack, Sai changed back into Robot Mode and charged after Maquette's backside. He tackled him to the ground as the experimental bot then began struggling. Sai could feel the radiation from Maquette's body like an immense heat wave at this point. Seeing that Magentacat had grabbed his legs, Sai quickly forced both of Maquette's arms down.

"Sorry pal…" He strained, "Nothing… personal!"

"LET… GO…" Maquette roared, struggling to escape, "LET… GO…!"

He began heating up more as the experimental bot began glowing a bright red and growling loudly. Seeing that he was running out of time, Bad Hacker changed back and opened Maquette's medal hatch.

"I'm so sorry Maquette," He shouted, "But this is for your own good!"

"NOOOOOOOOOOO-"

Bad Hacker dug his fingers into the medal socket and ripped the medal from Maquette's back. Now suddenly losing power, the experimental bot slowly shut down and ceased struggling as his head hit the pavement with a small clang. Sparks of electricity jumped from the empty socket for a moment before fizzling out. Maquette was under control, but not without damage to things around him. The police and fire departments went to work tending to the damage to the Headquarters and others in the area. Everyone was able to take a breath as Sai and Magentacat released their grip on the experimental bot's body.

"I… I…" Bad Hacker stuttered, holding Maquette's medal in his hand, "I can't believe… I did that… I forced Maquette… into shutdown…"

The Guild-Masters walked up alongside the trio as Metal Beetle put a hand on Bad Hacker's shoulder.

"There was no other choice." Head Scissors replied, "I myself wished that what just took place was never an option, but with how he was acting we had to take drastic measures."

"He just wanted his freedom…"

"I know, but we'll need to discuss whether or not that be a good idea-"

"He didn't want to be in that lab any longer." Bad Hacker interrupted, turning to face the Guild-Masters, "He told me… they treated him like a freak. He said I was the only one that was nice to him… and now I did something to him that no medabot should ever have to go through!"

"Stand down Agent." Sonic-Stag ordered as he walked up to them, "You're still in the presence of the Guild-Masters. Show them respect."

The cockroach type backed off after the sudden spurt, but Metal Beetle stepped forward to put his hand back on his shoulder.

"Listen," The old KBT type began, "A Forced Shutdown is something that no bot EVER should have to go through, I agree. But I will still say that we had no choice. The internal lubricant in his body was heating up too much and growing into a critical state. If we didn't do what we did then we wouldn't be here having this conversation, now would we?"

The cockroach type shook his head, as did Sai and Magentacat.

"But I'll tell you this. Maquette wanted something that he waited quite some time to get, and I think now he showed us just how bad he wanted it. Head Scissors and I will talk with the Medabot Corporation after the damages are repaired and see what we can do about toning him down and putting him in a stable condition to be put in the field."

Head Scissors stepped back in surprise, "You cannot be serious Metal Beetle. After all that took place, you want to consider putting him in the field? Especially with his power levels the way they are?"

"Just lemme finish will ya head Scissors?" Metal Beetle retorted, and then diverted his attention to the trio, "Now, as I was gettin' to… Should the Medabot Corporation agree to let us make him Agent-worthy, he's gonna need someone to teach him. Would you and Agent Saikachis be up to the task?"

"Hold up," Sai interrupted, "There can be more than two people per team?"

"Of course." The cockroach type answered, "The norm is two to three, but there are a few teams in the Peacekeepers that go up to four and five and higher, though there are usually agreements made on who takes what missions beforehand."

He then looked to the Guild-Masters and continued.

"Guild-Masters." Bad Hacker said, "We would be honored."

"Just the answer I like to hear." Metal Beetle nodded satisfactorily, "Now for the time being let's get this guy back to whatever remains of the Testing Lab and fill 'em up with standard lubricant. We can't let this stuff be used again until it's researched further."

Sai and Bad Hacker nodded as they hauled Maquette's body and medal back to the Testing Center. Magentacat stayed behind to help with the cleanup, as did the Guild-Masters and their teams. A few hours passed before the Peacekeeper's members were repaired and sent to help with repairs to the Headquarters. During this time Bad Hacker had managed to piece together enough working equipment to flush out Maquette's system and fill it up with standard lubricant. Before they got to inserting his medal, the duo made sure that he was properly bound to ensure he wouldn't run amok again if he was still in rage mode. Taking a breath, Bad Hacker inserted the medal as Maquette booted back up and looked around. Realizing he was back in the Testing Center, he began struggling, only to find himself bound with high-strength steel poles.

"I'm… back…" He muttered.

"I'm sorry I had to do that to you Maquette," Bad Hacker began, "I didn't have a choi-"

"No… I was… to blame. I went wild… filled with rage… caused damage… I'm… not ready… for freedom…"

"Aw come on now bud," Sai stated, "You just needed to vent out all your anger."

Maquette looked at the beetle type.

"Kinda funny now that I realize it…" He continued, "But Guild-Master Metal Beetle told me this earlier yesterday. He said that everyone needs to vent their rage at some point, and if it gets all pent up inside ya grow bitter. You wanted freedom to do and say and act what you wanted, and after a while you got tired of being rejected. Am I right?"

Maquette looked down at the floor, "… That is… true…"

"I figured. But I got some good news for ya that may make you feel better."

He looked over at Bad Hacker, and then had a realization.

"I kinda sounded like the old bot himself when I said all that." He thought, "But ya know, I think the guy's right. And after thinkin' about it, and what happened here, I think I may wanna stick around after all. I mean these guys took me in without even a flicker of the eye lights, and even offered me a place to stay while I worked here. I think I may wanna have a word with those Guild-Master's now…"

Maquette looked back at Sai, "What is it?"

"Eh, ya know…" Sai stammered, shaking his head back into reality, "I'll leave tellin' ya to Bad Hacker since you know him more, I gotta split."

Just as he started off, the cockroach type called back at him, "Sai, where're you going?"

"To talk with the Guild-Masters, I'll be right back."

Sai raced through the Headquarters and eventually found them helping raise a support beam to some flight-type medabots.

"Ey, Guild-Masters." He called, getting their attention.

"Wassup Sai?" Metal Beetle asked, "Maquette actin' up again?"

"Nah, Bad Hacker's talkin' to 'em. But I wanted to talk to you guys."

"And?" head Scissors inquired.

Sai looked at the lime green bandana around his neck and then back at the Guild-Masters.

"So I got to thinkin'…" He began, "And after today I think it kinda clicked… just what you guys do here. And so far I haven't had the urge to hit the road like I always have, so I wanted to talk to ya about makin' my membership here permanent."

After a moment of silence, both Guild-Masters glimpsed at each other, and then at Sai.

"We had a feeling you would say yes eventually." Metal Beetle nodded, "Glad to see that you realized it for yourself."

"We understood that you had the true heart of a Peacekeeper, even before you did," Head Scissors added, "But realizations of the heart are best when discovered by oneself. That is the reason why we personally have not urged you to join on the spot, but instead offered you a trial-run."

"So… I'm in?" Sai asked.

"You're in." Metal Beetle laughed, "Welcome to the Peacekeepers Agent, we look forward to havin' ya with us."

Sai felt a little relieved that they still were wide open to his invitation to the Peacekeepers as Metal Beetle continued.

"Now as your first official request by us," He said, "Head on back to the Testing Lab and try an' get Maquette running properly. Head Scissors and I wanna talk to 'em about our proposal before we talk to the Medabot Corporation."

Sai agreed as he started back for the lab, leaving the two Guild-Masters alone among the hustle around them. In that moment, everything around them seemed to freeze in time as they proceeded to close out everything in the world except each other to speak.

"He accepted our invitation." Head Scissors began.

"I'm glad he did." Metal Beetle agreed, "We've been losing more and more Peacekeepers to Illegal Guilds that're popping up everywhere. You remember who at one time were our most elite members back in the day?"

"Yes… We lost a lot of members. Twins Blakbeetle and Blakstag… The Gemstones… The Trump Knights… The Divine Angel… And… Him… among others."

"Ahh, we lost a whole lot of members when HE left. Now it's become almost something of a family feud, having to consider former friends our enemies."

"But we still have remained strong to this day."

"That we have ole' pal, and I have a feeling that Sai may have just what it takes to help bring our fragmented family back together."

"We can only hope that he can." The old KWG sighed as he ran his fingers through the faded blue scarf around his neck, "I battle daily the desire to face our former allies and convince them to return home, though I am reminded that they are not the same bots we knew all those years ago."

"The times have changed," The old KBT type nodded, "And it'll eventually be up to the next generation of models to take our place when our time comes. I hate to admit that, but it's true."

"It is… You and I are almost upon the seventieth year of our functioning lives, and even with keeping our bodies up to date with new technology, we're still bound to fall eventually."

"But not just Sai though… Everyone here in the Peacekeepers will be there to help us stand back up when we fall… cuz we're family."

"That we are, old friend…"

So Maquette is finally under control, but what are Metal Beetle and Head Scissors getting at when they mentioned all those they lost? how did they lose them? And who is HE anyway? Answer to come in the future Data Logs, but until then, be a pal and leave a review.
