Chapter 14

The Demon's date

Hiruzen had let Naruto cool off for a few days, he had known she wouldn't like it but she would do it. He knew her, he had watched her grow up and been there for her whenever he could, no matter how much she hated it he knew she would do her duty and go along with what he ordered.

Of course he still had her watched by ANBU, she had spent nearly every second of her time with the sand boy. He wasn't sure about him, he didn't seem like the greatest influence on her given their worries about her, but on the other hand she did seem genuinely happy with him and ultimately that was what he wanted for her.

Naruto was getting antsy, she had loved spending so much time with Gaara but with the 'training trip' constantly forcing its way back into her mind she was having trouble relaxing. It had been more than a week since she had killed anything and she needed some blood, Kurama was getting bored. She and Gaara were just finishing a nice breakfast after another long night of fucking.

She knew Gaara liked killing as well and Shukaku was probably just as bored but she still wasn't quite sure how to bring the subject up with him, she had never had reason to talk to anyone about it before. "So, what do you want to do today?" she awkwardly asked

Gaara could hear it in her words she was getting the same feeling he was, the sex was great but it didn't scratch the same itch as killing did "Know any good people to kill?"

She gave him a coy smile, he saw right through her "Now that you mention it, I did happen to overhear something about a group of bandits not far from the village from my ANBU stalkers. If we hurry we could get there and go crazy before a leaf team gets there to get rid of them."

He smiled lovingly at her "Sounds like a date."

They cleaned up and Naruto quickly went through the motions of tricking the ANBU into thinking she was where they thought she was. It was a little trickier with Gaara because it meant she had to make a clone for him as well, it would seem strange if they weren't together after not leaving each other's sides for more than a week. The process Naruto used was pretty simple, she was a master with shadow clones, enough so that only a Hyuga could tell the difference between the real her and a clone so the trick was to get away from the ANBU long enough to create the clone and get away without making it look like she was trying to get away.

Since they were the one's tailing her it made it pretty easy for her. They could track her to wherever she shunshined to in a matter of seconds but that was she needed, she would shunshin somewhere and immediately create a clone to go about whatever distraction she decided while she suppressed her chakra and hid. The clone then leads the ANBU away and she goes about her business, it was made easier by the fact that the Hokage didn't see her as a threat to the village so there usually wasn't top class sensory ninja tailing her, they were off doing more important things. This worked so great because almost never did they even know they weren't watching her, it allowed her to go out of the village and train with Kurama and his chakra without worrying about it getting back to the Hokage.

After ditching the ANBU Naruto and Gaara were on their way to their own private massacre.

Sasuke had spent the whole time since getting back from chunin exams sulking in his room. Itachi was worried about him, Naruto rejecting him like that wasn't something he had ever thought would happen, who was this guy that came in and stole Naruto's heart so quickly? He had tried to cheer Sasuke up but had been unable to so instead he decided to look into this guy.

Itachi hadn't been out on a mission for several years, not since his father tried to unsuccessfully lead a coup of the village. After the coup attempt Itachi had taken over as clan head and now spent most his time in the village leading the clan. He worked tirelessly for years to get the clan back into the villages good graces and it had worked for the most part, the Uchiha were a proud and loyal part of the village like the other clans. Itachi had shown the clan that his father's way was not the right way and both the clan and the village respected him for it.

Itachi had gone to the Hokage earlier that day and asked to be allowed to be the one to tail Naruto for the day. He explained the situation with Sasuke and Hiruzen ultimately allowed it.

Itachi was impressed with Naruto's trick to lose the ANBU but unlike her regular escorts he knew her and he had sharingan so he saw through the ruse with ease. He was also better at concealing his chakra than most other ANBU, enough so that he was pretty sure neither Naruto nor her friend would be able to sense him.

Naruto and Gaara made their way through the massive forest that surrounded the leaf village, the bandits were out of the way of the village, probably in hopes of avoiding ninja coming after them. The camp was not far from a small village about half way to the land of rivers so it would take a few hours to get there. There were other bandits and such closer to the village but Naruto had decided it was better to be safe than sorry, it was much more likely for them to be seen if they did it any closer to the village.

They talked as they went to pass the time. "Have you talked to him yet today?" Naruto prodded

Gaara sighed Naruto had been trying to make him get closer with Shukaku, it hadn't been going well. All Shukaku ever did was yell and scream and try to take him over so he could rampage. "No, I haven't"

"It's never going to happen if you don't talk to him."

"He's not easy to talk to."

"I know but you have to try, once you can talk to him you guys could start to work together like me and Kurama!"

"You're right of course" he chuckled lightly, she was always right "I'll keep trying but it's hard to even get a word in with him."

Itachi followed at a safe distance listening when he could, they talked about Kurama and Shukaku almost the whole way there. He didn't know who they were, he had never even heard about Kurama before but he seemed like Naruto's hero, so far this girl hardly seemed like the Naruto he knew.

A while into the trip Gaara detected someone following with his sand, whoever it was had gotten sloppy and gotten too close. It wasn't hard for Gaara to communicate this new knowledge to Naruto without alerting their pursuer.

Itachi noticed as well that he was not the only one following them and whoever this other pursuer was he was not as careful as him. Itachi quickly began to observe this new party, he located the pursuer's chakra signature and moved to where he could see the newcomer. The pursuer appeared to be a man of average height, he wore a long black robe and an ANBU mask but Itachi didn't recognize his chakra signature so he was sure this man was an imposter.

The unidentified man suddenly spun around and threw several kunai directly at Itachi. Itachi avoided them easily but the attack forced him stop his pursuit of Naruto and Gaara who had just shunshined away, they must have detected this man pursing them as well, that would make finding them after this confrontation much harder.

The masked man stared down Itachi from a perch in a tree while Itachi did the same to him, he knew he had no chance against Itachi the best he could hope for was getting away alive, why the hell was Itachi following Naruto anyway? He wasn't ANBU anymore he shouldn't have this detail.

Itachi wasn't in the mood for waiting, he needed to catch back up to those two "Who are you and why are you following Naruto?"

The man cocked his head "Who says I'm following Naruto?"

Itachi narrowed his eyes "Gaara then"

"Gaara who?" the man said in an emotionless voice.

Itachi wasn't sure if he was following Naruto or Gaara or both but no matter what he was impersonating a leaf ANBU and was clearly an enemy, not only that but he clearly knew who Itachi was as he made a point to never look into his eyes.

Naruto and Gaara were happy with their escape, turns out there was more than one person following them, good thing they apparently weren't friends, their confrontation provided an easy escape. Though they might have to rush their massacre a bit if either pursuer was from the leaf seeing the aftermath would be bad, they would need to get rid of evidence after finishing up with the bandits.

Naruto crouched in a tree with Gaara next to her "Here we are" she smiled "there are more of them than I expected"

Gaara smiled back at her, he couldn't help himself, her smile was the most beautiful thing in the world whenever he saw it, it lit his life up brighter than the sun ever could. "After you" he gestured toward the camp.

Naruto jumped down and landed in the middle of the camp and stood there waiting for someone to notice her, she had removed her headband just in case anyone happened to be able to survive this she didn't want word getting out that a leaf ninja had done this.

After a few moments a man noticed her standing there "what the hell?" he poked the guy next to him and pointed at Naruto who just stood there looking innocent. Quickly most of the camp had noticed her and the men started to encircle her.

The one that was clearly the leader came toward her "You lost little lady?"

"No of course not, I know exactly where I am, the village is uh, that way." She made sure to sound frightened as she pointed away from the village.

The leader smiled slightly, he was a gargantuan standing almost 7 feet tall with shoulders as broad as a truck. He bore the scars of a man that had lived a long and rough life "Looks like that is a yes." He stepped forward and bent down in front of her as he put his hand on her shoulder "looks like it's not your lucky day" he smiled now face to face with her.

The men started to cheer "We're gonna have some fun with you!" none of these men were very smart, she had completely fooled them with this little act they didn't even pay attention to her ninja clothes and her gauntlets, all they saw was a helpless little girl.

The leader grabbed her by her hip and pulled her closer to him, she put up a show of trying to push away "my boyfriend really wouldn't like you doing this" she grunted and made it look like she pushing as hard as she could as he pulled her toward him "he'll kill you if don't stop" she said in a panicked tone.

The leader laughed loudly "Bring him on, we'd rip him apart and feed him to the dogs. Now stop fighting, you gotta lot of work ahead of you, you'll need your energy." The men started laughing as she struggled futilely against his grip. Suddenly the leader's eyes widened and he coughed blood right into Naruto's face.

"I told you he wouldn't like it" she said dropping the façade. The bandits stared in horror as their leader, the man they had literally rip trees from their roots with his strength, impaled by half a dozen spikes of sand.

A second later the closest living bandit to Naruto let out an agonizing scream of pain as Naruto grabbed him by the balls. "You won't be needing these anymore" she ripped his entire crotch out leaving the man crumpled on the floor crying as he tried to stop the perfuse bleeding.

The men starred in horror of the sight and most turned to run, but Gaara was behind them with sand swirling around him. A giant wall of sand went up around them all trapping them inside with these monsters.

Naruto was having a wonderful time, there was an ocean of blood pooling inside the sand bowl, the screams of pain and horror, the terrified looks on their faces, this was exactly what she needed. She dove onto another man, knocking him onto the blood soaked ground, he screamed and tried to push her off but no matter how hard he pushed she wouldn't budge. She grabbed his head and slowly increased the pressure as she squeezed it. His screams got higher and higher as his head was slowly crushed, before long his eyes popped out of their sockets and Naruto stopped squeezing. She ripped the optical cords away from his brain eliciting a scream of pure agony, she couldn't get enough of it. The pain she was putting this man through was unimaginably and she loved every second of it, she laughed giddily as she crushed his eyes in her hand and licked it. She whispered in his ear "Your eyes were delicious" she finally got off of him but there was no relief for the maimed man as she stuck her claw into his now empty eye sockets and drug him over to the sand wall where she implanted his head. He tried to scream but sand quickly flooded into his throat tearing as it went down his esophagus. The sand held his head inside the wall until his suffering was finally over.

The massacre continued for nearly ten minutes each kill they made just as gruesome as the last until there was only one man remaining. Gaara let the sand wall drop revealing several masses of gore that could no longer be called corpses. The bloody sand slowly crept up on the sole survivor, everywhere he looked he saw the bloody chunks and mangled corpses of his friends and then there was them.

The man fell to his knees "Please god don't kill me I'll do anything!"

They both laughed "God can't hear you now." Naruto said with a sick smile as the man was yanked into the sky with scream.

Gaara held up his hand before clenching his fist "Sand Coffin!" blood rained from the sky and Naruto let if wash over her and she was yet again baptized in blood, born again to cleanse the world. Gaara loved the sight of her standing there blood falling all over her, the look of bliss on her face was wonderful it gave his life meaning. She let herself revel in the joy of soaking up the life of others for a few moments before turning to Gaara.

"We should clean this up before whoever was following us gets here."

"Right, shouldn't take long" Gaara quickly used his sand to shred the earth under the area into sand. He pulled the newly made sand out from under the mess of gore and corpses causing the ground to collapse under the weight. He then filled the earth back in with the sand, burying the mess they had made to keep anyone from finding it.

He turned back to Naruto and gave her a smile "No one should find them for a while at least."

Naruto gave him a sexy grin, one thing slaughtering people did was make her horny "Let's go find a place to wash up"

Itachi started their confrontation by throwing a few kunai at the ANBU pretender followed by a fireball just above the man's current position.

The masked man expertly jumped between the two attacks going horizontal midair to fit in the small gap between them. He landed on the ground with just enough time to avoid another massive fireball that slammed into the small clearing.

Itachi was immediately on top of him engaging him in taijutsu. The pretender dodged expertly but constantly on the defensive. He saw an opening and took it activating a chakra scalpel in his hand as he got a quick slap to Itachi's right bicep followed by a quick kick to his side sending him skidding across the ground before disappearing in a puff of smoke.

'So he's a medical ninja, I'll have to be careful in taijutsu' Itachi thought as he threw another volley of kunai at false ANBU. The pretender dodged the kunai and returned a volley of his own but Itachi had already moved.

Another fireball nearly hit him as he dodged away 'damn I've got to get out of here' he thought trying to find an opening to make a run for it banking on Itachi's mission of tailing Naruto won out over following him. He spun around with his chakra scalpel ready striking at the form that landed behind him.

Itachi batted away his hand and began another unrelenting volley of punches and kicks. He dodged the best he could blocking and knocking away what he couldn't dodge. He saw an opening and struck for Itachi's neck and surprisingly hit his mark. Itachi jumped backwards clutching his neck before coughing up copious amounts of blood, his carotid artery severed.

Something wasn't right there is no way Itachi would go down that easily, his eyes widened for a second and he made a hand seal "kai". Sure enough the world melted around him being replaced by reality. He spun and used his arm to block a few kunai he didn't have time to dodge. He grunted several kunai stuck into his arm and one in his shoulder, he had to make his move now or he would be too weak to escape.

The masked man pulled out a small pellet and threw it into the ground causing a large plume of smoke before retreating. Itachi lost him the smoke but could sense his chakra moving away, he would have to tell the Hokage about this, but he had lost enough time in that fight he had find Naruto before she got to wherever she was going.

Naruto and Gaara had found a small river not far from where they massacred the bandits, it made since that they would camp near a river. Naruto quickly stripped off her clothes and dove into the river, discarding the bloody apparel on the shore. She surfaced and rand her hands through her hair the blood washing away with the water, she gave Gaara a sly smile and motioned for him to join her.

Gaara didn't waste time discarding his clothing and gourd next to Naruto's and diving into the river, he swam over to her wrapping his arms around her and planting his lips on hers.

They lied there together for a few minutes before Naruto sat up letting out a sigh "We should get back to the village before they notice anything."

Gaara gave he a pouty look before sitting up as well "You're right" he stood up and then pulled her up and gave her another long loving kiss. They then got redressed deciding that the clothes were dark enough it was unlikely anyone would notice the blood as they made their way back to Naruto's apartment, especially since it would likely be dark by the time they got back.

Itachi had caught back up to them in the middle of their love making, he did his best not to watch, it was hard to see the girl that he viewed as a little sister having sex, to some random sand ninja no less but he was a ninja and he wouldn't let it get in the way of his mission.

They got redressed and left and as much as he wanted to believe Naruto had come out here for something as innocent as sex with her boyfriend it seemed unlikely. He followed them but left a clone to look around for whatever they could have come all the way out here for.

The clone looked around to no avail, the only odd thing in the area was a large area of recently disturbed dirt but the area was too big for them to have done it in the short time they had been out of his sight and they didn't seem to have anything on them that could have been buried here. He would report it to the Hokage but his guess was a large group of people were likely responsible for the disturbed earth, there were dozens of pairs of footprints all around the area. The clone dispersed returning its memories to the real Itachi.

They arrived back in the village after another few hours and snuck back in, it was getting dark as they had thought and they made sure not to get close to anyone on their way back to Naruto's apartment.

They entered the apartment and were quick to shed their clothing quickly dumping the bloody clothes into the washer before resume where they had left off at the river.

Itachi watched them enter the apartment and continued watching till he saw them again having sex through the window. He decided it was time to report to the Hokage, he didn't need to see that again.

It didn't take long for him to arrive at the Hokage tower he went up to the Hokage's office and waited till he was told to go in. Itachi entered the Hokage's office and closed the door behind him.

Hiruzen looked up from his never ending paperwork "Ah Itachi how did the mission go? No doubt endless hours of Naruto training." He chuckled slightly happy to not think about his and Naruto's current standing.

Itachi smiled halfheartedly, he knew that the Hokage looked at Naruto like a granddaughter and wasn't eager to tell him that at 13 she had snuck out of the village to have sex with a boy she met a few weeks ago. "yes well, I followed her and her boyfriend around." He sighed and Hiruzen got a worried expression on his face "she tried to lose me, from the look of it she didn't know it was me following her, it seems she uses the trick quite often to sneak away from her ANBU escort."

It didn't really surprise Hiruzen, he didn't know she was aware of the ANBU that followed her around but she was smart and observant and her sneaking away from them might explain how she has been meeting with this Kurama without being seen.

"I followed them to the outskirts of a small village halfway to the land of rivers, unfortunately I lost them for about half an hour when a man disguised as a leaf ANBU who also seemed to be following them attacked me. They shunshined away while I was forced to deal with him. Unfortunately he managed to escape after I hit him in the arm with a few kunai."

That was worrisome news, there was an imposter in their midst, he would alert the ANMU and have them be on the lookout for this false ANBU "what mask did he wear?"

"A simple cat mask." He paused briefly continuing at Hiruzen's nod "When I caught back up Naruto her and her boyfriend were" he sighed not enjoying the memory "they were having sex on the shore of a small river. After they finished they came back to the village, I was unable to find out why they went all the way out there, I found nothing suspicious in the area other than a large area of disturbed ground, there were many different sets of footprints, my guess is there was a group digging in the area. After we arrived back in the village they returned to Naruto's apartment and proceeded to have sex again."

Hiruzen nodded hiding his emotions about Naruto having sex, she was a ninja and thus an adult, and whether he liked them of on he had to respect her decisions. As for why they went all the way out there he didn't have any better guess than Itachi but it was worrying, it seems unlikely they went hours out of the village to the middle of nowhere to have sex when they are apparently perfectly comfortable doing it in her apartment, he would have to look into this. "Thank you Itachi, you can go now."

Itachi nodded and headed back to the Uchiha compound, he wasn't going to tell Sasuke about Naruto and Gaara, it would only be rubbing salt on a fresh wound.

Authors Note: Sorry I took so long to update, life has been hectic and I kind of fell out of the Naruto mood. Anyway here is another chapter, hope you like it. I would say I will update more frequently but I can't promise that. I can promise that I will continue to update even if it is only once every couple of months, I have plans for this story and want to see them through.
